Praying for someone to make a gifset on the parallel from episode 18 when Yeondu asked Taegyeong if he liked her and episode 20 when Taegyeong asked Yeondu if she liked him and a bonus gif of Taegyeong finally confessing his feeling to her instead of pushing her away like what he'd been doing throughout episodes 19 and 20.

considering all of the halloween events going around, daeho thought he might as well take advantage before exams turned him into a hermit. it gave him an excuse to get out and to connect with friends he might otherwise (accidentally) neglect. yeondu was a regular at the cafe he worked at, usually found helping some poor sap trying to get through bio 101. once daeho found out her age, he made it his mission to watch out for her. it was his instinct for him to take an older brother angle to his friendships—for better or worse.

even though daeho was about as scrawny as anyone could be, he stayed close to yeondu as they made their way through the streets at night. "they really went all out for halloween this year." he noted towards all the activities and decorations at basically every store they passed by. "anything you want to do?" he asked the younger, turning to look at her.

This movie is my literal roman empire . I went through three different emotions throughout the movie: happiness, hatred, depression. (The only reason I'm giving it a 4 stars out of 5 is because of the ending.) Like the beginning is fine. It's so cute and wholesome, just teenage love with the most handsome guy that's 190 cm tall ! Like man if my highschool had someone like Poong Woon-ho, I would flip. Flip and fold . Like until then, it's fine. And then Bora's friend, Yeondu comes back from America and that's where all hell breaks loose. Oh and also, just additional info that u prob didn't know, Bora is purple in Korean and Yeondu is like yellowish green. I thought that was cute as both their names were colors. Anywayss yea so all hell breaks loose after the friend returns because what in the plot twist was that . And tbh if I was Bora, I would not have given up my man just for her happiness. Like Bora is an AMAZING friend if u think about it because she distanced herself from the only boy she liked like GIRL WHAT R U DOING. That gave me a stroke I literally fainted. I'm sorry but I genuinely hated the bsf, yeondu bc she forced bora and woon-ho apart like NOO girl NO. Ok and then comes the most depressing part that made me give a 4 stars out of 5. The freaking train station. The damn train station that appears again in Lovely Runner. ANYWAYS I can't believe that the directors made that the last scene for them to ever meet cus like wdym he's gone now. WDYM. I refuse to believe that the ending actually happened so like yk let's just say they got married and had kids and grew old together !! Also a bit off topic but the filter / vibe in the movie is like blurry / vision-y which makes it SO pretty. Can we all agree that the mountain scene where the two were filming their surroundings and the ocean scene was SO PRETTY ?!? Ok but anyways I really loved the movie and you will too so go watch it now on netflix 🫵

PQube will release ROOTNSTUDIO-developed horror game White Day 2: The Flower That Tells Lies Complete Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series in 2024, the company announced. A physical edition will also be available for PlayStation 5.

White Day 2: The Flower That Tells Lies Complete Edition first launched episodically for PC via Steam, starting with Episode 1 on February 15, 2023, followed by Episode 2 on May 2, 2023, and ending with Episode 3 on July 20, 2023.

mingyue's father never flies out from beijing if it is not a requirement. the man himself could count the amount of times he has seen his father after leaving beijing himself and the numbers alone could be counted with just one hand. this party must really be important for his father to clear his schedule when he could barely do that with his high school graduation. sure, these minor graduations are just small walks in his life but he remembered how everyone around him; his classmates had their parents with them but he's supposed he's thankful that at least mingyi was there for him. what would he ever do without his sweet little sister.

the party is stuffy to say the least, but glamorous to its core. if not for the fancy billion won worth of chandelier hanging in the hall, then the well dressed presented guest including mingyue himself had proved that this place is not for average people to step in.

"mingyi, you can't just keep running off like that. grow up will you, you're a high schooler already." the raven haired finds himself calling out for his sister who seemed to be excited at the prospects of not only seeing her older brother after a while, but attending a family event with their father.

when he's able to get his sister, their father calls for them, brief instructions given in mandarin about being acquainted with the stranger and their daughter.

"mingyue, how about you and yeondu here go about making friends. you're more or less around the same age, so it would be nice if you two could be friends," his father tells him and before mingyue could answer, they're being shooed off so the adults could have their conversation.

"so..." mingyue begins, falling back into the foreign language of the country he's been living alone for years. "i'm liu mingyue. and you are?"

Valentine day: a day where horror begins

Chapter 1: the haunted school

It is easy to let time slip by without a second thought

Kim sunghwa, the new transfer student for yeondu high school thought as he walk towards the school as the sun shines brightly. He almost reaches school until he notices a girl sitting on a bench reading a book. He feels....

Green grass, the brightly shining sun and her...

He sees her picking up a photo from her book as she gazes at it sadly.

Suddenly the wind picked up and blew the photo from her hand. Sunghwa saw it flew towards him and picked it up for her,only for her to snatch it form his hand. She gazes at it with an unreadable expression.

She looks up to see her friend waving for her. She looks at sunghwa before going to her friend as sunghwa turns around to see her go.

He feels almost sad but at the same time, happy that she is no longer sad as she looks back at him one more time.

He looks at the bench to see that she have left her book, which later discovers her diary. He decided to go to the school secretly at night to leave her diary at her table. He later found her name.

Seol Yuna, junior homeroom 8, she was there.

Timeskip

He arrives at school with the diary at 10:00P.M. (curfew for Korea schools I think?) He stands there as he takes in the sight of the school

I just wanted to give her a little gift along with her lost diary.

He looks at the diary in his hand and chocolate box in the other, which was a gift from his friend. Speaking of which, he should be here in 3..2..1...

"Sunghwa!"

He swears that his ears were ringing as he silently grumbles before turning around to face his best friend.

Park jeongmin, his friend since they were babies. Jeongmin and him have always been together, there was never a moment that they wouldn't spend time with each other.

Jeongmin:"soooo.... Thank for inviting me to help you confess to your silly little crush."

Sunghwa feels his face blossom at the thought and twist jeongmin's ear which causes him to yelp and beg for him to stop.

Sunghwa: I don't like her, I just want to return her diary.

Jeongmin: and give her chocolate at that? It's valentine day hyung. Surely you didn't forget that?

Sunghwa stood still when he heard jeongmin says that today is valentine day. Jeongmin looks at him unamused as he starts giggling a bit.

Jeongmin: you're hopeless hyung, well let's get inside shall we?

Sunghwa nods as he opens the gates.

They enter the school grounds as the gates shut behind them.

They enter the school through a passage for night students ,when all of a sudden the shudder drops down.

Jeongmin was frightened and goes over to slam his fist on the shudder, mumbling (please let this be a joke)

Then they heard it, a blood chilling scream pierces through the halls.

Jeongmin hid behind sunghwa as he holds his arms protectively over him.

They continue forward slowly, wary about what just happened. Slowly, sunghwa unwraps his arms from jeongmin as he also stops hiding and goes up another floor.

They were checking the classrooms and walking down the halls when they heard a sound. It was from the main hall.

They look at each other. Jeongmin signals for them to go as sunghwa nods. They open the door and walk forward.

Surprisingly, they meet 2 other girls that were standing in front of the home ec. Classroom.

???: What are we going to do? We can't just leave our bags in there! (Turns around) AH! You scared me! I didn't see you guys there.

Jeongmin: we're sorry. We didn't think that there would be anybody here at this hour.

???: Why are you guys here at this hour though?

Sunghwa: we also forgot something here as well.

???: *Whisper* wait, I've seen them before. They're the new transfer students.

???: Oh really?

Alicia: I'm Choi Alicia. Junior homeroom 8.

Yuri: I'm min Yuri. Senior homeroom 4.

Sunghwa thought junior homeroom 8... That's the same class that Yuna was in.

Sunghwa: wait are you-?

Jeongmin: *slaps hand over his mouth* it's so nice to meet you. By the way, you look like you need help.

Yuri: We do. Uhhh... It's better if you follow us, it's easier to explain that way.

The boys follow the girls into the....women's bathroom?

Sunghwa: uhh.... Did you want us to keep watch until you're done?

Jeongmin smack sunghwa on the head while the girls blush and Alicia tells them what they wanted them to do.

Alicia: our bags are still in the home economic classroom and it's locked.

Yuri: I know that the keys to the classroom are in the auto shop classroom but it's locked as well.

Alicia: but you can climb through the vent above us and get the keys.

Sunghwa: sound simple enough. Okay we'll help.

Alicia: thank you.

Sunghwa: now jeongmin-

His younger friend was no where to be found, that is until he reappear later with a ladder and a bolt cutter.

Sunghwa: you work fast as always.

Jeongmin: of course, I'm not the top of my class for no reason.

Sunghwa pats jeongmin's head as he giggles while the girls look at this....*friendly interaction*.

Sunghwa climb up the ladder and cut the wires then the vents open and he crawls in with jeongmin following from behind.

Sunghwa sees another vent in front which shows him a terrifying sight.

A student was caught staying in the school at night and was beat up by the janitor as he drags the student to somewhere.

Despite being afraid of what's to come, he continue forward.

The home ec Classroom was right in front of them, unfortunately it's blocked by hot steam.

They move left to find a valve which sunghwa closes.

Jeongmin decided to go find the other valve while sunghwa waits in order to cuts the wire on the vent to the home ec Classroom.

Soon, the hot steam in front of sunghwa dissipates as he go forward and cuts the wire.

It falls down as he hops down along with jeongmin behind him.

All of a sudden, the alarm blares as the a pentagram is summoned in the room.

Jeongmin looks to his right to see the box and opens it. It was in the wrong order and place so he quickly fix it.

After jeongmin was done with it, the room began to return to the way it once were.

Sunghwa spotted a token and decided to keep it with him for now.

He unlocks the door and opens it to find the girls waiting for them. They both had a terrified expression.

Alicia: what happened just now? The entire school suddenly began to shake.

Sunghwa looks at jeongmin who only nods. Sunghwa began to tell of what happened in the classroom.

Yuri: if that's the case then the rumors are true.

Sunghwa: *confused* what rumors?

Alicia: they say that this school used to be a hospital during the Korean war. since so many people died during that time, they suspected that the school was haunted.

Yuri: anyways thanks for getting the keys for us we really appreciate it.

Jeongmin: it's fine. Don't worry about it. We would help people in need.

Alicia: you know the doors are all closed now since it's 10. But the door to the lecture hall is always open. The buildings are actually all connected to each other.

Yuri: here's the key to open the hallway over there. You can go before us, we still need to get our bags.

The boys bid goodbye to the girls as they go to unlock the door to that hallway.

Along the way, jeongmin found a note which tells the story of da sum which her letter never fell into the hands of her crush and she died miserably.

Jeongmin crushes the note in his hand as he follow sunghwa, his eyes turn black as his pupils turn red.

Then again, they heard another scream. Of a boy this time.

They don't know what's going on inside this school, but together maybe they can get through this together.

she’s a TWENTY year old wannabe, born JULY 8, 2003. she’s currently undecided regarding companies and lives by the words “your heart will never ask your permission to love.”

“hello!” yeondu readjusts her stance before she starts. she bows at the borrowed canon camera that’s perched up on its stand before her. another adjustment – a subtle movement towards perfection – and yeondu continues her introduction. “i’m twenty year old jang yeondu. i’m studying math at ewha womans university. today, i’ll be dancing to prizm-nim’s ‘cool’. thank you for your time.” yeondu’s eyes close and her dimples show on her cheek as she cracks a smile.

the bluetooth on her phone is connected to a small speaker she’d bought a few months back. yeondu walks a few steps out of frame to press play on the song, reminding herself to cut this part out when she edits the video, before quickly walking back into frame. yeondu doesn’t necessarily think that the song is hard to execute, but her focus was placed on what was most difficult to her: facial expression. it was the subtleties of this that would, hopefully, help her stand out. she wanted to put a ‘yeondu’ spin on the song – her own depth and emotion that surpassed technical execution.

dancing is something yeondu finds natural, every carefully crafted movement flowing together. the song ends, and her chest rises and falls with each breath. “thank you for your time,” yeondu echoes the words she says at the beginning with another smile, anticipation reflecting in her eyes. “i hope to hear from you soon.” she adds after pausing, waving a goodbye to the camera’s unblinking lens. yeondu rushes behind it to stop the recording. she lets a sigh of relief escape her lips, and it serves as a reminder of the unyielding efforts yeondu pours into each of the audition tapes she records.

when yeondu finishes editing the audition tape and attaches the file to the email she sends to the company, she finds herself rewatching the video. though an unconscious act, nuanced self-awareness creeped onto her each second that she double-clicked to rewind the clip. was she overdoing her facial expressions? did she neglect the technical aspects of the song too much? would the representative watching this clip notice that some of her movements weren't detailed enough? that her arm wasn’t stretched out enough? yeondu’s cursor hovers over the “send” button, however… she ultimately decides against pressing it. there was more of yeondu that she needed to show within the short minutes, and there was more talent that she needed to refine.

20th Century Girl -spoilers -

hello I'm here to give my POV on 20th Century Girl. A couple of weeks ago I saw good reviews about this movie (I thought it was a drama 💀) and most people talk about how much they cried so I had high expectations when I finally decided to see it. Honestly... I feel like I didn't get what I was hoping for, only two scenes made my eyes water but the excitement I got in almost everyone I didn't get. I start by saying that I ended up with many questions and that I felt that everything happened very quickly... I would have liked to know what happened with Bora's friend, if she and hyunjin had a relationship, if boora, hyunjin and yeondu were inseparable friends during the high school senior, WHAT HAPPEND TO WOONHO!!!!???????????? LIKE???? And what happened to Boora's brother? Why did he end up in the hospital? (maybe it is not something that changes the plot but I need context for everything 😬) but something that stands out is that it was not something very cliche, that is something that I stand out from this movie even so I feel that as a drama it would have been better because as I said before, for some reason I feel like it all happened too fast. Another thing that I felt was missing was more screentime from the main couple... for some reason I couldn't fall in love with the couple themselves and it's crazy because both actors have really nice chemistry (I mean YOU GUYS SEE HOW THEY ACT TOGETHER DURING  INTERVIEWS THEY GAVE??? THEY ARE VERY CUTE TOGETHER!!!) but in the scenes everything was very calm. To finish I will only highlight my favorite scenes: when Boora was drunk and Woonho helped her not to be discovered by locking herself in a room. GOD THAT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL FOR SOME REASON I FELT LIKE EVERYTHING IN THAT SCENE WAS SO INTIMATE SO PERFECT AND SO ROMANTICLY BEAUTIFUL ODSIJOSIDDIOODSI When woonho told him to count to ten and he RAN TO GET TO WHERE SHE WAS AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!!!!! GUYS DON'T EXPECT LESS FROM ANYONE. and finally my favorite moment by far: WOONHO CONFESSING THAT HE LIKES IT ON THE ROLLER COASTER OJFSOIFKMSMKLSAD I DON'T KNOW BUT I ALMOST CRIED IN THAT SCENE. Anyways, if I had to rate this movie it would be a 7/10, it's cute but some things were missing.
