Vacation-Staycation Eternal Blu-ray Catch-up! 🎞️ Part 9: Random Mixed Bag Strikes Again! 🎬 It's another random mixed bag, I suppose this one could be loosely tied as films with dark, fantastical elements? (Zombies, a demon, killer robots from the future). The two 4K ones are sequels I hadn't seen before, and the other (a live-action movie adaptation inspired by an anime) I have seen, but not this lovely blu-ray of it. Zombieland Double Tap was great fun (though I enjoyed the 1st more). Black Butler the Movie makes some (understandable) changes, but still feels like the anime, and I like it. Zombieland will be released on 4K Ultra HD (with Blu-ray and Digital) on October 1 via Sony Pictures. Its long-awaited sequel, Zombieland: Double Tap, hits theaters on October 18.

Celebrating its 10 anniversary, the 2009 horror-comedy is directed by Ruben Fleischer (Venom) and written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Zombieland). Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin star.

Zombieland has been remastered in 4K with High Dynamic Range. It includes a new Dolby Atmos audio track, along with the original theatrical 5.1 audio. The release also includes a new retrospective featurette; a full list of extras is below.
