Proship April Day 2: Siblings - Kissing Practise

Mini-fic under the cut!

An evolution, and A trade

“So~” Blue began, her voice as flirtatious as ever; Even around Silver she couldn’t quite turn off that mischievous tone. Her legs dangled over the edge of the Great Crater of Paldea, allowing both of their Finizens to play on a ledge below them, hoping one - or both of them - would soon evolve. “Has it been nice to get away from the Kanto-Johto continent for a bit, Silver?” She asks, looking at him with her deep blue eyes. That was always how a Dexholder seemed to be named when color was relevant - after their eyes.

“... Everything except Mount Glaseado” He admits, unsure how to express his distaste for what was known as one of the Ten Great Sights of Paldea. Glaseado peak was something a lot of tourists would kill to get to - he’s certain at least one of the new Dexholders would at least wish to visit the point, but for Silver… it brings back bad memories. He looks back at Blue; his metallic eyes, usually cold, showing some vulnerability. It was hard not to be, they had been through the same thing.

Blue nods in understanding, a breeze blowing her black dress and hair slightly as she tucks a gloved hand behind her ear, looking down at their two Finizen playing. It sparked a thought in her mind. A thought she had considered before, but never directly asked. Their birth parents were different, as far as she knew, but the situation from their childhood… the situation where Pryce had forced them to pair together and grow together. It finally leads her to asking.

“Silver,” she starts, looking down to the rocky ledge so that Silver’s eyes also fall upon the two Pokémon. “Given everything with… Pryce.” It’s hard to get the name out, throat still struggling when reminded of that detestable gym leader. “Do you see us more as… friends, like those Finizen, or… more as siblings?”

Silver’s taken aback for a moment at being asked the question - not because he wasn’t certain, but because he thought it never needed asked. “Siblings, obviously.” He admits, face growing red from embarrassment at his own vulnerability. He doesn’t usually feel so ashamed to be less closed off around Blue, but acknowledging they viewed each other as siblings aloud felt different.

“I see us the same way!~” Blue chirped, hopping down from their ledge onto the rocky platform below to check on the Finizen’s progress - neither had become a Palafin yet, despite their Ultimate Dexholder titles. Silver was the expert Trader and Blue was the expert Evolutionist, so what was taking so long? Green had already proved it wasn’t through level-up, and Crystal had managed to catch every Paldea Pokémon without needing to trade Pokémon whatsoever - only items.

Silver looked at the only piece of advice he had received from a mysterious bystander. “Finizen’s evolution holds some kind of secret. That’s all we’ve been told.” He stands up, looking over Area Zero, and how low down it seems to be. “And we know we’re not permitted into the crater. It’s too low down and Bird Pokémon just fish us out. That’s no good for you to experience.” He recounts. He knows Blue’s trigger relating to bird-like Pokémon thanks to their experience with Fearow handing them to Pryce.

That’s why Blue had used her Blastoise like a jetpack and her Jigglypuff as her main mode of flight. He hops down, wondering exactly what went wrong with their attempts. Trading the Finizen between each other didn’t help it evolve, having it hold the items Crystal had given them hadn’t had any effect. The two were becoming frustrated.

That’s when Blue gained a suggestive glint in her eyes. One that the other Kanto dexholders would likely fear - luckily Silver knew how Blue was, and didn’t need to be as wary - She was his sister, after all.

“Oh Siiiiilllvvveeeerrrrrr~” She drew out, leaning forward despite the lack of stable footing, index finger to her chin, just below her lip. “Perhaps that means we need to reveal our secrets for it to evolve. Got anything to tell big sis Blue?” she teases, intentionally trying to get the redhead flustered.

Upon that, his face turns as red as his hair and he starts sputtering a mangled mess of gibberish noises before finally getting out his response. “N–No! I’ve got no secrets that you’d need to know.” he states, crossing his arms and taking a step backwards. It seems despite his response, he knows all too well the secret Blue’s referring to.

Blue continues her antics, leaning forward more, the kind of angle you’d expect in a romcom anime from the main love interest trying to make sure the guy can’t respond coherently for the next ten minutes. She reaches into her satchel and pulls out a small book - Silver’s journal. “Because this little entry tells me you’ve never kissed a girl before, and wanting to save your practising for Big Sis.~” She waves the book out of his reach as she goes a little red herself. She knows how to tease, but the thought of kissing her brother has her a little flustered, too.

Silver’s not wanting to admit it, reaching out to grab his journal back. “Wh- Why do you–?” Have that, he wants to say - but as he reaches for the journal, he notices he’s pushing Blue closer and closer to the edge of the rocks, and stops himself. The shock from nearly pushing his sister into Area Zero gives him enough time to compose and consider the plan - reveal a secret, and Finizen might evolve.

“... I’ve never kissed anyone before. The entry says.” He clarifies, he doesn’t know whether he’ll want to be with a guy, a girl - or Blue herself - he just knows who he wants to save practise for. Gold was reckless and a pain, but he didn’t mind Gold. Crystal was one of his best friends. Yellow was soft, cute, and while easily sensitive he admired that about her. Red was like Gold in some senses, but less of an annoyance, and that could be bearable. Green was like a mentor and idol… and then there was Blue - his sister. The girl who helped him escape an abusive household. The girl who encouraged him to forge his own path. The girl who prevented him being turned into the authorities. The girl he wanted to give his first kiss to.

“But I would like to practise with you, some day.” He adds the some day as a way to give himself some time - some composure.

Blue immediately cuts that time short. “How about we practise now?~ Might make the little Finizen pals evolve?~” She giggles, already bringing him into a close embrace by hugging him - and for a moment, her mischievous attitude and the suggestive glint in her eyes fade - all that’s left is sincerity and genuine want. It seems Blue was as longing for a kiss like this as Silver had been. She can’t deny herself the truth. She views Silver as her brother, and she loves her brother. She wants to help him through life where possible - whether that’s keeping him safe, brushing his hair, sewing him clothes, or teaching him how to kiss.

Silver’s shocked by the sudden grasp, ready to try and escape - he wriggles for a few moments, but upon seeing Blue’s eyes - desperate to help him learn - he concedes, hugging her back. He allows himself to be drawn into the embrace, but they aren’t kissing yet. He doesn’t exactly know how, or what to do. He knows lips press together, but that’s as far as he’s gotten. “Just… let me know how to do this.” He requests, nervously, for once his composure is completely lost and he’s back to how he first acted when they were wearing the masks of ice - shaking and uncertain. “And don’t tell the other Dexholders.”

Blue nods. “Of course, Silvy~” As she leans in and prepares to instruct Silver on how to kiss, a stray Iron Valiant blade from Area Zero flies out from the crater, knocking Blue backwards - and she begins to fall. Silver’s frozen in shock for a moment - if Blue falls into Area Zero, a bird Pokémon grabs her. The idea of Blue reliving that trauma flooding his mind has time slow down, he can’t let his sister become hurt again.

In a split second, he thinks on what to do, pointing toward both Finizen. “You’ve both seen Blasty fly, jump into the crater beneath her, use Hydro Pump on the whatever that thing was, and bring my sister back to the crater’s edge!” Silver commands, the two Dolphin Pokémon diving beneath the clouds of the region’s most dangerous area.

He holds his breath as he sees his sister’s descent shortly follow beneath the layer of cloud - and breathes a huge sigh of relief as two Pokémon return with Blue in their fins. Not Finizen, but the hero mode of Palafin - the heart on their chest and superhero-like stance as they land and lower Blue back to a safer area of the crater with much more fitting proves that it took both Blue and Silver to make them evolve - and some form of level-up.

Silver has his newly acquired Palafin move him over to the same rock, smiling slightly as he looks over Blue. “... I’m glad it wasn’t a bird Pokémon bringing you back.” He exclaims gently, shaking his head from the fear that had shot through his veins moments prior. “And I’m glad you’re safe.”

Blue seems to be recovering from her own shock with the way she giggles, nodding as she looks up toward her brother. “And you managed to help evolve the Finizen… you’re so talented, Lil’ bro…” she composes herself, and while she’s not perfectly recovered from the scare just yet, she does make a little joke to lighten the mood. “So… How about your kissing practise?~”

Pokémon High School AU: Kanto Edition

Red: Dark, Tall, and Handsome™; silent, some form of mute; sometimes falls asleep in class because he already knows all the material - he usually gets poked awake by Green; has a cat/dog/mouse/no one knows name Pikachu; has been best friends with Green and Leaf since, like, babyhood

Green: Pretty Boy™, basically the school heartthrob for all genders - if you don’t want to date him, you want to be him; responsible-ish (actually the most responsible out of the three) but can act kinda hot-headed from his childhood days; Mom Friend™; has been best friends with Red and Leaf since before he can remember

Leaf: The Hot Girl™; has a pseudo/adoptive baby brother named Silver (following Pokéspe); very michevious; the president of the underground fanclub to get Red and Green together - has been witnessing the pining since they were all about four/five and has also been suffering because the boys were absolutely oblivious (first because they didn’t even know they had feelings for the other, then because they did and thought it wasn’t requited and kept going to her for advice); has been best friends with Red and Green since forever

Probably seniors, I guess? Labelled Kanto Edition because I might come back and do some for the other Dexholders (probably not SWSH though, not too familiar with those two).

Edit - Me, five minutes later: Shoot, Yellow.

Yellow: The Baby™ (basically); genderfluid, but the only way you can tell is Hat/No Hat (using she/her pronouns for this); looks younger than she really is; friends with literally every creature near the school, plus Pikachu; is friends with Red, Green, and Leaf but is also the bridge and glue to the juniors; looks really innocent and sweet and is, but everyone knows that if you have problems, you go to Yellow: she’s real good at advice and also body disposal (she’s got connections - like, for example, she’s great friends with Silver given the general Viridian homepoint); friends and friendly with generally everyone

Heart #001

1) I love moon's character she seems so shy but will probably kill you if angry it's great!

I wouldn’t say that she’s shy, but more like... well, not overly social? And yes, if she’s mad... hehehe...

Heart #003

1) I had so many things going through my mind while reading is. The first thing was how I compared it with my writing. I can’t help but do that.

I love the way you describe things here and especially how you write Platinum. Go platinum go!

Pearl’s mental anguish is so amusing and this is a good way to use very detailed descriptions. Since Pearl is the one who hyper focuses on Platinum it gives the reader a great image of what Pearl sees, feels and how he views her.

Great reaction from our boy and from our ignorant Platinum. Hahaha Even if she catches him blushing. Shel thinks he caught a cold or something. XD

Wait so he and Dia are competing for Platinum’s affection?! I don’t want their amazing brotherly friendship to get ruined though.

I bet if they ask Platinum who of the two she prefers she will answer both of them are equally important to her.

Nicely done Nicole. If the King was every interested in the work of us mongrels he would agree.

I love my Platinum! I pay extra attention and put in extra effort in what she says and what she does. Ehe...

Oh, Pearl. He suffered SO badly in this chapter... But at least he had a very good time, even if he was teased so badly.

Poor oblivious Platinum... so smart, yet so inexperienced and clueless... It’s so cute, though. Max level friend-zoner, this one. “Oh? You appear to be flustered. Is something wrong?” Ah...

People wanted Diamond vs. Pearl. Then people kind of... vanished, so I don’t know what the readers want anymore.

If they ask her that question, she will pick both because she doesn’t understand what that question means. “You two are both my irreplaceable friends!” Double friend zone!

... All... hail... the glorious golden boy...

Heart #004

1) Pearl that's... very devious. But also very clever. But still very devious... Is this gonna be what's gonna tear Diamond and Pearl apart? Because I don't think my poor "heart" (heh) could take that...

Junior Quartet interactions are as cute as ever~ I remember some of this from your short story on tumblr. Poor Y, though I must admit it's pretty satisfying to see White get her revenge, given that she's usually the butt of the joke. Also Platinum dancing at the beginning was too cute...

Now, I wonder, will Diamond have the courage to initiate a conversation about romance with her, or will Platinum need a push from her friends to help figure it out...?

Diamond won’t be happy to see Pearl appearing in the villa all of a sudden. He will see that as sabotage. And poor Platinum will notice the tension, but not understand why.

Hehe. This was mostly in Short Story - The Feast. ... Or should I say, most of that is in this chapter. Hehe. Good old victim White. This time, she gets her revenge!

Diamond probably won’t be initiating such conversation. He seems more like the type to slowly ease his way into her heart, by simply being with her and making her happy. Pearl, on the other hand...

Legacy #002

1) Now that I finally have a day of free time, I'm back to reading this! And... I think this is my favourite chapter so far. I'm a huge sucker for fun interactions and stories involving camping together for some reason.

I really like how Red and Blue actually feel like seniors to their juniors in your stories. A lot of the other fics I've read have them act like they're the same age as the rest of the dexholders (how do you do, fellow kids?) which is just weird and kinda uncomfortable when you consider that they're like 30 in canon now. But in this, they both feel older and more responsible while still retaining their fun personalities and interactions with the others.

More foreshadowing(?) with Y's Zwelious... hmm. I loved the scene between her and Black (a rare duo!), and the rising conflict with her and Blue. Given how torn up Blue is about her feelings for Red, I can't imagine it'll be long until Platinum notices as well, given how smart she is. It makes a lot of sense that Blue would be unwilling to talk about her problems with anybody, given her life of solidarity. She's so used to being on her own that opening up must feel impossible for her, and I hope she gets the chance to learn that everybody needs support from time to time in the future.

... This review is kind of all over the place. I really, really enjoyed this chapter, is what I'm getting at.

It’s always fun to write about friendly camping that does not have any tragedy happening. Pure fun stuff!

Red and Blue are... I think I said 25 in Legacy. I crunched up the age gap between Emerald and the Sinnoh cast, so that puts Platinum at 18? But yeah, they should be behaving much more older than the juniors. Mental maturity and all that. They will have their old traits, but mellowed down a bit. So Red won’t be stupidly reckless, and be much more considerate towards the juniors.

More foreshadowing with Y’s potentially uber-aggressive Dragons. Yep. And Y hanging out with Black is definitely a new one, with more interaction options available. I should explore more of them. And oh, Blue... But this is the time for her to receive the warmth and care that she always longed for! Isn’t that sweeeet?? Hehe...

I really enjoy your reviews, Egg! Same for MelBar’s Destiny reviews, though those haven’t continued yet :( I look forward to seeing more!

Legacy #003

1) It's kind of funny seeing Platinum giving romance advice to Blue, given her own naivety towards Diamond's (and now Pearl's) feeling towards her. Still, it's really good advice, but I can't help but worry that this confession might not go exactly as planned... "Sorry Blue, I don't like you in that way."

I think I said this last chapter but damn the junior trio interactions are cute. I love the fact that they're clearly quite close, yet both Y and White are slightly terrified of Platinum when she's angry (cold Platinum is just the best~). Also White and Y's tendency to bug each other is super cute.

And Platinum appears to be the one in danger. I'm excited. But also nervous. Excited because this means cool action scenes are coming up (flash freeze 'em), but nervous because... Platinum's probably going to suffer quite a bit. The pain of being the author's favourite... And Moon's a target too, huh? Wonder how she'll fair. And if Sun will get every bone in his body broken as collateral damage.

This is an interesting set up. Will the villains use Moon's loyalty to Platinum against her in some way? Will Rotomdex manage to escape just by annoying the crap out of the villains? And I have a feeling that the Sinnoh trio isn't going to get to meet up...

Ah, this review is far too long and ramble-y. I think I also said this last chapter but Legacy is quickly becoming my favourite story of yours. Keep it up!

Yes, of all the people, it’s Platinum to do it. How ironic, isn’t it? Heh. Well, I think she’d be more oblivious about those in love with her, but she’d know how to offer advice to others? It’s... a bit weird, yeah. But still very sweet of her, isn’t it? ... Oh, if the confession fails... oh dear...

Hehe. Love the Junior Trio/Quartet! ... Soon going to be not called “Junior” Trio/Quartet, but hey. White and Y are definitely close to Platinum, but will still get intimidated when she’s angry. Because never anger the ice queen! Hehe. “She’ll turn you into a popsicle if you anger her!” But while White and Y are afraid of Platinum, they are not afraid of each other, and will try to one-up one another and sh*ttalk when possible. Heh. Like true buddies!

Oh, be on the lookout for real cool action scenes with Platinum in the future. Ah... yes. The balance of screentime vs. well-being. Favorites get more screentime and thus suffer more for it! :( And yes, Moon is also a target. But will Sun also suffer? ... Well, it’s Sun. He’ll suffer no matter what he’s doing.

Freaking Rotom Dex and its incessant rambling... At least the villains will have a way of muting that damn thing.

Legacy #007

1) Dang. That research team was brutal. I wonder if they're the same people who kidnapped Platinum and Y earlier. More plot is revealed as they took the Rotom pokedex so I wonder what they need with it. Also, I wonder how on Earth that Sun, Moon, and Lillie will survive a burning building and already having their bodies be on fire. If they survive, they can sure take a beating. Then again, as I've seen in all your stories, ALL of the dex holders can take a massive beating and still live.

Hey, you’re back! I think you missed out on Heart so I thought... hm.

Nah, they’re not the same people who kidnapped Platinum and Y. Different teams! Behold the manpower of Team ... well... let’s leave that blank for now. Team Blank!

The Rotom Dex was taken to study the Rotom-to-device interface. It was stated in an earlier chapter. Now, what do they need this for? ... I think it’s possible to piece it together from the loose hints provided, but... let’s also leave that blank for now.

Oh, the boy that was burned was not Sun. Local boy with a box of malasada. Sun is not local to Alola, and doesn’t look like a local, thanks to skin color. Now then. Who would have a box of malasada of all things? Hehe...

And I have said at one point that in order to survive a beating that bad, you’d have to be in the top 5 of my Preference List. Moon is in the top 5. Lillie is not. And the “local boy” is also not. So... ... And I also said that Moon will be set on fire, which burns off her existing attire, thus she gets a new one to match the attire overhaul I gave her. So... the “prophecy” has come true!

Destiny #001

1) So, I started with Destiny like you suggested. And so far, it's been great! And ho boi, there are 45 chapters, but honestly with your work, the more the better. It seems like you put a lot of time and effort into this story, and for that alone I applaud you. Again, grammar is on point, and it is easy to understand what Blue is going through. When one looks, one realizes that all aspects of Blue's life right now is completely shitty. From the berries to the loneliness. You did really excellently with handling that in my opinion. It was just so that one really understood what was happening, but it wasn't forced onto the reader either. Well, I guess in some ways it was, but not in bad ways. It was in a good way, trust me. Onto the plot itself! I must say I am very curious about this newcomer. Peter was his name? Quite plain compared to the rest of the names in the series (tho then again you have names like Daisy and Bill so I guess that's not true). Could he be faking his persona? A plain name, a pleasing personality, randomly saves Blue, and has strong shiny pokémon? I'm not sure whether to trust this guy or not. But I'll set aside my suspicions for once and trust him for now. For now. In any case, I'm really hoping that the other dexholders reach out to Blue, I mean really hoping. I've started praying even. I mean, this poor girl is so lonely and she has such a good heart. In any case, it was a hoy to read and review your pieces! And I greatly appreciate you taking the time and effort (kek I already said that earlier) to write this. Thank youuuuuuuuu!

Yes, Blue starts off on a very, very low point in her life. Now it’s up to the other Dex Holders to try to lead her to a brighter life!

Ah, “Peter”... a name created from the real life friend who was the inspiration of that character. His ID at the time had “PT” in it, and the first name that came to mind with both “p” and “t” in it was “Peter”, so... there it is. Heh. And I like the simple normal sounding names. Not like... “Officer Bobemon” from the Battle Subway, I think? ... Sheesh. And strong shiny stuff. RNG! RNG!

I greatly look forward to seeing your Destiny progress~! :)

okay, after extensive research & deep thought........here’s what kind of drunk i think each dexholder would be

red: happy drunk! the life of the party. gets super red in the face and laughs for half an hour at the word “orange”. will attempt to remove at least one (1) article of clothing at some point.

green: the wanderer. he’s there at the beginning of the night, but then randomly disappears halfway through, never to be seen until he once again randomly appears at the end of the night. where did he come from? where did he go? one of life’s unsolvable mysteries.

blue: THE ENABLER. constantly encouraging others to act on their stupid impulses, but rarely indulges in her own stupid impulses. may eventually morph into the sloppy drunk, wherein her dress is perpetually stained with some sort of food mixture and she’s constantly attempting to launch into an a capella rendition of some song that hasn’t been popular for like 15 years or something.

yellow: the lightweight. takes three sips of wine then passes out for the rest of the night. wakes up the next morning with sharpie doodles on her face and arms.

gold: flirty drunk! attempts to hit on anything that is vaguely person-shaped, including furniture. unfortunately he slurs his words so bad all his pick-up lines come out as gibberish and no one can understand what the hell he’s trying to say. requires constant adult supervision.

silver: the sappy romantic. filled with feelings of deep love and appreciation for everyone around him. unfortunately is unable to vocalize these emotions and so is reduced to staring at his friends with intense affection.

crystal: the puker. does like maybe two shots in an attempt to prove that she’s “fun”, then spends the rest of the night hunched over the toilet bowl hating herself and everyone around her.

ruby: THE DRAMA-STARTER. probably has good intentions, wanders around trying to give “meaningful” life advice but just ends up starting drama instead because he literally can’t remember who he’s talking to.

sapphire: reckless drunk. swings from the chandelier, slides down the banister, flings herself off the roof and somehow manages to come out of it all in one piece. has surprisingly good hand-eye coordination even when she’s sloshed, so she’s a BEAST at playing darts.

emerald: the genius drunk. solves world hunger and global warming in a frenzy of drunken scribbling, then abruptly passes out and can’t decipher his own writing the morning after.

diamond: the friendly food dude! is the first to suggest ordering pizza. can be found chilling in the kitchen, offering a listening ear to anyone’s woes, and is actually the most useful at ending drama.

pearl: belligerent drunk. is ready to fight at all times. super protective of friends and takes almost any action against them as some sort of attack. will demand to “take this outside” but gets lost on the way to the front door.

platinum: the sober drunk! she’s had like 4 glasses of wine but seems completely normal. maybe a little pink in the face but that’s it. how does she do it?

black: destructive drunk. filled with overconfidence, probably attempts to do a keg stand or something equally nonsensical, only to be dropped on the keg. ends the night in an emergency room with a concussion and a broken nose.

white: the NBF (new best friend). will gushingly compliment the hairstyle/makeup/clothes of anyone within 5 feet of her. usually found in the bathroom, making plans to go on a cross-country road trip with someone she met like 10 minutes ago.

blake/lack-two: the denier. will insist that he “never gets drunk” despite the fact that he’s been walking in circles for the past 15 minutes.

Mod, do you have a favorite character from spe? Which do you find easiest to write?

So, I’ve got a lot of favourite characters from spe. DexHolders are Ruby, Sapphire, Gold, Silver (in no specific order) ((and also Black: SKREM™️!))

Other characters are: WALLY! Wallyyyyy!! kOfF™️, Prof. Birch has gained my full admiration after waiting on a tree in a storm for Emerald so yeah, and Paka and Uji are just :’),

Easiest to write hmmm... Black comes to me pretty naturally, especially when I’m super hyper and on a sugar rush. So do Gold and Sapphire. I relate to these crazy hyper b*tches so much holy crap.

I’m sure everyone’s heard the whole “Wally should’ve been a Dexholder and Emerald shouldn’t even exist!” line. I don’t agree with that for the most part. I don’t see what Wally would’ve done in the Emerald arc and Emerald himself is a good character that deserves to exist. But that’s not what this post is about. I’m not one to complain about plot in Pokespe since It’s a Pokémon manga and even Kusaka-San isn’t perfect, but one thing that bothers me is how Wally didn’t keep the Pokédex. He could’ve easily been given another one after he returned Emerald’s. I know the Pokédex isn’t something professors can just yEeT at new trainers and say “go do shit with this I don’t care”, but there have been so many instances where random kids have been given a Pokédex. Diamond and Pearl are a prime example of two trainers getting the Dex by accident. Even Ruby got his by accident. So why couldn’t Wally keep his/get a new one? I’ve thought about it, and it could be related to the whole “each Dexholder has a special talent and that’s why they get a Pokédex” But even then, there have been many exceptions like Dia and Pearl. (I haven’t read DPPt in a while so sorry if this is 100% wrong lol) Up until DP, the Dexholders talents have been related to Pokémon while I can’t distinctly remember any talents the duo had relating to Pokémon. Sure, they got the dex by accident but if the whole “each Dexholder has a special talent and that’s why they get a Pokédex” was really the case, then Dia and Pearl would’ve had to return the Dex after saving Sinnoh. I know Wally didn’t have any distinctive talents either, but he had already been ready to contribute in RS by the time he found the Dex, unlike Diamond and Pearl who just got it by accident (even if it was a misunderstanding and prof. Rowan wasn’t aware at first that Paka and Uji hadn’t gotten the Pokédexes.)

TLDR I think Wally should’ve gotten a new Pokédex and that Hoenn could’ve had 4 Dexholders (I know there are usually 3 per region, but if Kanto was an exception then I don’t see why Hoenn couldn’t have been)

P.S. I just realized it sounds like I’m hating on Diamond and Pearl in this lmao. I just wanna make it clear that I love them both and I’m not hating on them in this rant/analysis. I’m just using them as examples :).
