Virgilia: Ashen Apothecary
Abyss’s self-appointed medic and the stolid apothecary of the Ashen Wolves. She holds a deep grudge against the Church of Seiros. Appears in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
“A new world presents new scientific opportunities. Greetings, Summoner. Just call me Vi.”
Virgilia: Heretic Medic
A phlegmatic healer from Leicester whose family once worked for the Eastern Church. She swore off pursuing magic after her sisters’ deaths. Appears in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
“My name is Vi. If you have injured, you can count on me to assist at a moment’s notice.”
{ ooc } MY ASHEN WOLF DAUGHTER NOW HAS A FACE! Once again courtesy of @pulchramusae for pulling through with another from-scratch design based off of my ramblings! 🥺
(Re)Presenting Virgilia Februs! A second (yes, second) Fire Emblem: Three Houses OC, this time based on the Apothecary class from Fire Emblem Fates. You can read all about her story and so on in the provided link, since I’m just going to take a moment to ramble about my doot’s looks.
Pre-timeskip! Just like her peers among the Ashen Wolves, her Academy uniform is tailor-made to her preferences. I thought to have it based off of that of a modern lab worker, meaning no open skin, long sleeves and an additional layer to protect her legs. Hailey made the suggestion of having her chain—like other Wolves have—draped around her shoulders, subtly mimicking the stole of your typical priest! As for the purple accent to the silvers and greys, these come in the form of her gloves (representing her hands-on approach in healing and scientific pursuits), as well as her eyes (representing the dark side she witnessed from the Church).
Post-timeskip! Her clothing here is based off of those I’ve seen apothecaries wear in a lot of artwork depicting them back in the medieval era, with the headpiece and the shawls and what not. I also knew I wanted yellow/gold for her main colour, setting herself apart from the colour schemes of the other Wolves (including Forwin), but I was kinda stuck from there... before Hailey proposed the brilliant idea of having blue and white in her palette - adds to some sort of holy imagery, you know?
And yes, unlike the other ladies in 3H, I deliberately asked for her to be stouter. She is also the shortest among the Wolves thus far (unless other OCs I knew of are shorter still)!
Tumblr media
Once again, Hails, thank you for bringing doot to life!!! Everyone go commission her before I do it again.
And I just might, because now I need to think of both Forwin and Virgilia’s Three Hopes looks...

January Releases
And we're back! As usual, there weren't many new releases in December, but January is a completely different story. Here are titles that have been released already and will be released before the end of the month.
Week of January 4th
African Town by Irene Latham and Charles Waters G.P. Putnam’s Sons Books for Young Readers
In 1860, long after the United States outlawed the importation of enslaved laborers, 110 men, women and children from Benin and Nigeria were captured and brought to Mobile, Alabama aboard a ship called Clotilda. Their journey includes the savage Middle Passage and being hidden in the swamplands along the Alabama River before being secretly parceled out to various plantations, where they made desperate attempts to maintain both their culture and also fit into the place of captivity to which they’d been delivered. At the end of the Civil War, the survivors created a community for themselves they called African Town, which still exists to this day. Told in 14 distinct voices, including that of the ship that brought them to the American shores and the founder of African Town, this powerfully affecting historical novel-in-verse recreates a pivotal moment in US and world history, the impacts of which we still feel today. — Cover image and summary via Goodreads
The Chosen One by Echo Brown Ottaviano
There are many watchers and they are always white. That’s the first thing Echo notices as she settles into Dartmouth College. Despite graduating high school in Cleveland as valedictorian, Echo immediately struggles to keep up in demanding classes. Dartmouth made many promises it couldn’t keep. The campus is not a rainbow-colored utopia where education lifts every voice. Nor is it a paradise of ideas, an incubator of inclusivity, or even an exciting dating scene. But it might be a portal to different dimensions of time and space—only accessible if Echo accepts her calling as a Chosen One and takes charge of her future by healing her past. This remarkable challenge demands vulnerability, humility, and the conviction to ask for help without sacrificing self-worth.
In mesmerizing personal narrative and magical realism, Echo Brown confronts mental illness, grief, racism, love, friendship, ambition, self-worth, and belonging as they steer the fates of first-generation college students on Dartmouth’s campus. The Chosen One is an unforgettable coming-of-age story that bravely unpacks the double-edged college transition—as both catalyst for old wounds and a fresh start. — Cover image and summary via Goodreads

Spin Me Right Round by David Valdes Bloomsbury YA
All Luis Gonzalez wants is to go to prom with his boyfriend, something his “progressive” school still doesn’t allow. Not after what happened with Chaz Wilson. He’s determined to find a way to give his LGBTQ friends the respect they deserve (while also not risking his chance to be prom king, just saying…).
When a hit on the head knocks him back in time to 1985 and he meets the doomed young Chaz himself, Luis concocts a new plan-he’s going to give this guy his first real kiss. Though it turns out a conservative school in the ’80s isn’t the safest place to be a gay kid. Especially with homophobes running the campus, including Gordo (aka Luis’s estranged father). Luis is in over his head, trying not to make things worse-and hoping he makes it back to present day at all.
In a story that’s fresh, intersectional, and wickedly funny, David Valdes introduces a big-mouthed, big-hearted queer character that readers won’t soon forget. –Cover image and summary via Goodreads

Overground Railroad (The Young Adult Adaptation): The Green Book and the Roots of Black Travel in America by Candacy A. Taylor Amulet Books
A young reader’s edition of Candacy Taylor’s acclaimed book about the history of the Green Book, the guide for Black travelers
Overground Railroad chronicles the history of the Green Book, which was published from 1936 to 1966 and was the “Black travel guide to America.” For years, it was dangerous for African Americans to travel in the United States. Because of segregation, Black travelers couldn’t eat, sleep, or even get gas at most white-owned businesses.
The Green Book listed hotels, restaurants, department stores, gas stations, recreational destinations, and other businesses that were safe for Black travelers. It was a resourceful and innovative solution to a horrific problem. It took courage to be listed in the Green Book, and the stories from those who took a stand against racial segregation are recorded and celebrated.
This young reader’s edition of Candacy Taylor’s critically acclaimed adult book Overground Railroad includes her own photographs of Green Book sites, as well as archival photographs and interviews with people who owned and used these facilities. The book also includes an author’s note, endnotes, bibliography, timeline, and index. — Cover image and summary via Goodreads

Review: In Every Generation
Kendare Blake’s trilogy opener set in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe centers a new generation of Slayers. After a bombing at Slayerfest, “regular gatherings of all the remaining Slayers,” decimates existing Slayers and leaves the fate of Buffy unknown, white teen Frankie Rosenberg — daughter to Willow — finds her Slayer abilities awakening. When “lanky and pale” Slayer Vi Larsson disappears after the same event, her half sister Hailey, a 16-year-old of Canadian and Saulteaux First Nations descent, goes searching for answers. Hailey soon ends up in New Sunnydale as a part of a new Scooby Gang with Slayer Frankie and werewolf Jake Osbourne, where they try to solve the mystery of the bombing and the recent crop of vampires in town.
The explanations of show references might feel clunky to fans, but readers new to the franchise will appreciate the additional context. Blake successfully employs quippy one-liners that capture the tone and humor of the original Buffyverse while bringing it to a modern era. Though the ending satisfactorily utilizes the show’s “monster of the week” format, it also strikes an uneven balance with the greater mystery of who caused the Slayer explosion, in this entertaining addition to the Buffy canon.

You know... Hailey, Vi’s sister (in “In Every Generation”) isn’t exactly wrong when she says Slayers ironically have a bad habit of dating demons, or something like that.
Granted, there weren’t that many of them who did--that we know of--but still... just a few of them doing that kind of is a bad habit, tbh.
Like, there was of course Buffy, the Hunter of Thrace’s girl in this (whoever she is), Frankie now... and you could maybe count Faith for when she had feelings for Angel and wanted to sleep with Spike for a hot second in season seven, I guess (if you don’t count that as the comphet it probably was, and her really just wanting Buffy).
Edit: Also, Buffy season 8 talks about how in the past, Watchers killed themselves when they thought the deadly Twilight prophecy might be happening. So was there something close to a vampire and Slayer romance before Buffy and Angel, that just didn’t go as far as they did?

This is a link to the Elswood family page if you’d like to know more about her family.
♥ relationships; Ex-Significant Other(s): Probably a handful of people tbh, hit me up if you want this as a WC Reason for Separation: Stuff not working out, Ches getting bored before she got attached, so on - she’s a flirt tbh, it takes her wanting to get invested for her to stay Current Significant Other: N/A
♥ misc;
Hobbies and Talents: Ches’s main hobbies are playing piano and archery (she forever misses her bow and arrow while she’s at school), as these are also the two things that are best at calming her down. She has an intense love for acting, so it’s not uncommon for her to be one of the first people to sign up for auditions, and she tends to sing a lot so musicals are truly her shit. It’s not uncommon to see her in the library, reading a book late a night.
However, a talent she doesn’t exactly own up to often is her talent for forgeries and lockpicking. While she doesn’t use these skills as they’re intended for often, she does tend to practice them a lot, so she’s not rusty for when they are actually useful.
Pinterest Section // Musings Tag // Playlist (it’s an in general Ches playlist tho)
Ches speaks English and French fluently, her mother was born and raised in Paris so she learnt them both at the same time
DO NOT CALL HER HAILEY unless you really want to end up on her shit list, it’s her biggest pet peeve, she will glare at you for hours.
She’s the mom friend if your mom friend also goes “I HAVE THE BEST IDEA” and drags you into trouble. Literally, the one who frets over you and proceeds to get you into trouble.
This muse does what she wants, I just write it down I apologize always for her
Doesn’t really... seriously date too much because of past situations (Her older brother slept with the first person she truly loved) and she tries to avoid falling in love
That being said platonic I love yous are her shit, she loves her friends a LOT
Ches is very serious about her studying (and wanting to be among the best of the best because - this girl has Ivy league college dreams and she has no intents on fucking those up), so like expect her to do shit like read an entire textbook at the start of school and study at midnight when her insomnia is kicking her ass.
She’s a bit of a closet nerd - if you look under her bed she has a chest of comic books, she’ll just lie if you ask her about them
Ches left Luxor due to a family emergency in October, it was a really hard decision (and it was a really hard decision to come back). She is just now coming back to school.
She got her tattoo while she was away from school, using a forged note of parental consent in New Jersey.

TWs: Gun Violence, Murder, Death, Blood, Abuse (Relationship), Cheating, Mental Illnesses
Growing up as an Elswood means two things, you have a lot of siblings and a lot of money. Her parents had decided to raise their children in Manhattan, New York, where they could keep a close eye on their multi-billion dollar conglomerate. Her mother, Julia, would take them on trips constantly too - when she wanted to get the children away from the hustle and bustle of the city they’d go to their vacation home upstate, or their private island, or even to visit their family in Paris. At that point in life, Ches was happy. She had a solid group of friends, she had the best friend she could ever imagine having in the form of her twin brother, she had a loving and warm family, and she had a parent who would tell her no.
When she thinks back to her life before the incident, it feels like a completely different story. A fairytale even, perfect and happy in every way compared to her life now. However, it wouldn’t last, after all, fairy tales didn’t exist and reality was a much crueler mistress. One could say Lin-Manuel Miranda described it best; “life doesn't discriminate between the sinners and the saints. It takes and it takes and it takes.”
Everything changed on her eighth birthday when her mother took her out shopping to get a present for twin brother Jonah at Palisades Mall. A man came up with a gun while they were in the parking lot and asked for all of their money. Julia Elswood compiled but she made one mistake, the simple utterance of “Cours, Ches” as she gave the man her purse.
Ches might have gotten out of the event alive, but not she was not unscathed. Julia Elswood was pronounced dead when medics finally arrived on the scene, her blood coating her daughter’s hands and clothing from Ches’s attempts to stop the bleeding. She might have survived the event without physical harm but she was never the same child she was before after that.
One day she had an intact family, the next day the Elswoods were in ruin. Her father completely shut himself out from the family, only coming out for birthdays and holidays. Her oldest brother stepped up as their parental figure, first starting out with homeschooling before he eventually dropped out to ensure his siblings were getting as much of his time as they possibly could. He tried his hardest to make the loss of their mother easier on the younger girls especially, given how young they were at the time. She helped him with the girls as much as she could (and overtime she slowly started filling the role as their second parent). Because of how busy the younger Elswood children kept him, sometimes Logan didn’t have the time to comfort Ches when she woke up in the middle of the night, haunted by their mother.
That was when Emmett stepped in. It wasn’t uncommon for him to sleep on her floor so he’d be there when she woke up terrified out of her mind, and he was there when she just eventually stopped sleeping like people tended to. Over time she realized that Jonah and her weren’t truly two peas in a pod the way they used to be, that Emmett was the only Elswood who truly got her. He wasn’t perfectly normal either, his thoughts and feelings were flawed like hers.
In a family that made her feel so broken at times, Emmett was a saving grace - a reminder she wasn’t alone.
Going to school in Carnifex was an easy decision when you felt so alone at home, at school she found a close group of people she loved and cared about - she felt less alone and less like her family were judging her, and when the feeling came up - she could always toss herself back into her schoolwork and pretend that maybe, just maybe, she was just a normal kid living a normal boring life. Family issues easily bred vulnerability though, and it was that vulnerability that was exploited not long before she was set to start Carnifex.
Long-distance relationships weren't’ supposed to be easy, but when she fell in love for the first time. At the time, she had thought she was as fucked up as she could ever be, that at this point she was just focused on healing the wounds her mother’s death had left in therapy and after that, everything would be fine. James Ruth quickly showed her how mistaken she had been, even now she doesn’t like thinking about everything he had done to her. She doesn’t discuss everything he had put her through in the time they were together nor does she have any intentions on truly discussing the worst of the abuse she endured while dating him and she was home - even in therapy. It did, however, have an effect on her, it made her terrified of truly falling in love with somebody again.  (Note: James is also a massive reason why she doesn't get along with her brother Jamie, the two Elswood siblings never recovered from Jamie sleeping with Ches’s boyfriend. It causes a good deal of tension in the Elswood home but Ches can’t just forgive him, her brother never even apologized for his actions, she wasn’t going to pretend he didn’t hurt her because her father wanted them to get along for his own sake. They were on the rocks before this and afterward, the tension just got a whole lot worse.)
Going back to Carnifex her sophomore year was a key factor in helping Ches get away from her relationship, and it became as much of a home for her than her actual home was the longer she attended. Sure, she still misses her younger sisters, she misses Emmett and Camellia, and she misses her friends in the city. She also dislikes just how restricted she truly is when it comes to Instagram and trying to grow her influence while she attends Carnifex. Networking had to wait until she was home and sometimes she questions why she decided boarding school was a good idea. And then Ches looks at her friends, at the education she’s receiving, and all the fond memories she’s developing. Carnifex, and now Luxor, was well worth the fear of missing out she feels.
If you had asked her at the start of this school year, she would have told you nothing could have gotten her to leave school for any amount of time her senior year, she had spent the whole summer at Luxor (even after hearing about her baby niece, that meant a lot) - she finally settled in, she couldn’t imagine anything happening that would cause her to leave the academy. And then, on October 16th at two am in the morning, she got a phone call from Ella. Their oldest brother, Logan, had overdosed. While his drug addiction had never been a secret to the family, his relapse had been a surprise to Ches. Her brother had sworn up and down he was fine, that everything at home was okay. Going back to New York was a no brainer, her family needed her - and she needed them.
Logan, who’d been the closest thing to a parent she had since her mother died, almost died - she almost lost all the parental figures she ever knew. It was hard, getting adjusted back to New York City, she threw herself into her school work and did her best to fill the shoes Logan left open as he went through rehab, and then, adjusted back to being home. While she stayed in touch with the people she had at Luxor, she wouldn’t come back until her brother way okay - until she felt safe about leaving him with his daughter and their siblings without her as a backup. Coming back to school this time was really hard on her, the homesickness is worse than ever and she’s constantly trying to check in on her siblings (because mom!Ches is truly in full force and she’s trying to get it back down) but she’s glad to be back. She’s missed being at Luxor, a lot, so she’s glad to be back.
TLDR / quick important notes bio recap for rereads:
Ches’s mother was murdered on her 8th birthday in front of her
She was raised by her oldest brother, Logan, and is NOT close to her father really. She also helped raise her younger sisters and is very protective of them.
The Elswood she is closest to is Emmett, Jonah and her grew apart after her mother’s death.
Ches’s first real love was James (an NPC), they dated (entire)Freshman-(mid)Sophomore years, it was abusive (much more than Ches will ever discuss unless she gets majorly close to someone and they HAVE to know (cough still hasn’t happened though cough)) and Ches is now terrified of falling in love again. Her messy as fuck relationships & exes all start after this point.
Ches’s history at Luxor is pretty much in-tact, changes will be below in another section!
Ches left Luxor because of her oldest brother, Logan, overdosing. He is alive but she stayed in NYC until he was out of rehab / stabilized in order to take care of her younger siblings and her niece, Belle.
Notable Luxor Notes:
Anything relating to Thomas (for those of you who know what I mean) really hasn’t occurred, so if you mention it she’ll just be like “who?” This seems like the easiest course of action given how things were left off
Other muses of note I’m not going to account for are: Asher (more will be added as needed).
Ches isn’t a member of the Churchill Circle (I’m leaning towards was never one either just because the reasons she joined are no longer a factor so... she probably wouldn’t have ever joined)
If anyone wants to change history and/or keep it intact, feel free to dm me to let me know and I’ll update this accordingly.
Wanted Connections:
Exes (when Ches dates it’s not for long, but she’s definitely the type to be like “I’ll go out with you” if asked and then... dump you if she thinks she’s getting too attached. So her exes are either on good terms, neutral terms, or they probably dislike her a lot)
Former friends with benefits - while Ches is no longer taking on new ones because of Elliot (and is starting to wean off her current ones), I’m always willing to headcanon past things!
FRIENDSHIPS  (I am weak af for a good friendship plot, never be afraid to be like “hey can our muses be friends” the answer is legit always yes)
Enemies (Ches can... be a lot so it’s not unlikely she’s pissed people off ok)

July 1, 2015, Wednesday, 09:46am
It was almost physically impossible for him to step out of the elevator, his legs shaking beneath him, and Tony’s hand on his shoulder was the only thing keeping him on his feet. He could feel tears on his face as they walked down the hallway toward his apartment door, head hanging down so he wouldn’t have to see the yellow police tape blocking the Jones’s apartment door. Tony had his keys, since he’d refused to grab them out of his pocket when they’d arrived. Peter didn’t want to be here, wanted to run away from this place and the harsh truth of Hailey Jones not being alive anymore. It didn’t feel real to him, half expecting to hear the girl’s teasing voice call out to Peter or Riley.
Oh, Riley...
Tony had tracked him down using his phone, since neither May or Peter wanted the boy to be blindsided if he were to arrive at the apartment building and find out like that. May wanted his mother to have been the one to tell him, but the woman was inconsolable and the news of her daughter’s death had been detrimental to her health. It was also the fact that she’d ripped the VIs and tried to walk on a still broken leg to try and get to her daughter that had caused further trauma to her injuries. She’d been on the phone with her as soon as she’d calmed down enough, asking her what she should do about Riley.
‘Find him, May,’ the woman had sobbed on the other end of the line. ‘F-find my baby. If something happens to him... God, I may as well just close my eyes and die!’
They found him at a dance club of all places, likely having gotten in with a fake ID and Tony and May had gone looking for him while Peter stayed in the car with a grim looking Happy. The older boy had come out with an annoyed expression at being dragged out, but got over it quickly when he saw Peter’s somber face, which matched May’s now that he saw her in a better light. He demanded to know what the matter was, shoulders hunching up almost like he was preparing for a blow. And what a blow it was when May finally told him the terrible news.
“What the hell are you saying?” Riley growled, hands balled into fists as his whole body tensed defensively. “Don’t you fucking say that... don’t you fucking say those words!” He lunged for the door handle, the Audi modified so it had two seats like a limo in the back, and May cried out because the car was moving!
Peter was closer to him and grabbed him in a panic, grunting as the bigger boy fought him as his back was slammed against the backseat. “Let me go,” he snarled. “Fuck... no.... not Hailey.... Hailey!” Then Riley was screaming and Peter held him that much tighter, his hands grabbing him right back in a bruising grip that Peter barely felt. “I shouldn’t’ve left her.... shoulda been me... oh God,” he sobbed, burying his face against Peter’s shoulder as the younger boy’s own tears ran down his face.
May moved over, wrapping her arms around both of them. Tony watched them with slightly wet eyes, saddened at the death of a girl that had had her whole life ahead of her, but had been cruelly snatched away by a monster that was supposed to have protected her, loved her. Peter’s eyes ached, having been unable to stop crying almost since Sunday, and from the lack of sleep, so he was exhausted. They weren’t staying here, since Peter had been unable to return to the place that he had spent laughing with and being teased by Hailey. She had been a bit abrasive and could make Peter blush beet-red, but her smile and laugh had been contagious. Even while she teased and annoyed, it was obvious she didn’t do it maliciously; she had loved her brother and mother. Now, she was gone. Peter hadn’t known her for long, but he would miss her.
Mr. Stark said he and Happy would wait for him there, and he moved quickly to his bedroom. The apartment was eerily quiet and didn’t want to spend a moment longer here than he had to.
He quickly stuffed several changes of clothes in his backpack, his charger for his phone, his earbuds and his notebook where he kept his notes for the project he was working on with Mr. Stark. When he was done with that, he quickly grabbed the bag that Riley had used to bring over his own things when he and Hailey had moved in. He had never unpacked in the time he’d been there and maybe it was because he knew it was temporary, but Peter had felt that it was like he was trying to distance himself from the Parkers.
He was friendly, threw an arm around Peter’s shoulders as they watched the television, but never spoke of himself or of their situation. Peter knew their father was a threat, had come to the conclusion that he had likely abused him and Hailey, but neither twin had ever confirmed or spoke of it. At least, not to Peter.
Thus he was confused as to why Hailey had been at their old apartment, when the man was such a threat to them all. He had nearly killed their mother less than a month ago. There were no answers, not for her grieving mother or distraught brother. Peter wished he could help them, in some way to ease the pain.
For now, all he could do was get Riley’s bag for him so he didn’t have to come back here where his sister had died.
They were staying at Stark Tower for a moment until the unforeseeable future, especially since now Megan Jones (the twins’s mother) had to stay longer at the hospital after this tragedy. May had stayed with the other boy most of that first night, not being able to face his mother due to feeling responsible. His aunt had told Riley over and over that it wasn’t his fault, that the only one responsible was Reginald Smith, whom was behind bars. Peter was sure he hadn’t even heard her.
Tony had taken the death of this girl almost personal, especially as she had been a friend of Peter, and had pressured the DA’s office into ensuring the police department get a conviction. He’d told them that the DA had a solid case, especially with several of the apartment tenants clamoring to testify to see Hailey get justice. The man denied having killed the girl, but there were enough witnesses that heard him shouting in the apartment, and when they came in, he was standing over the girl’s body. He would likely go away for a long time.
Riley was unmoved when they told him, barely leaving the room that Tony had given him, which was across the hallway from Peter’s own room. Any other time Peter would have been ecstatic that Tony had given him a room (obviously designed with Peter in mind due to the Periodic and Star Wars posters on the walls), but now he just felt tired and sad. He had sat with the older boy several times in the last two days, but Riley mostly ignored him. This didn’t deter Peter as he either read, surfaced the web, or sometimes told him of his project at SI. He wasn’t sure if he was helping the taller teenager, but he hoped he at least found some comfort with his presence.
Riley had been using Tony’s clothes the last two days, since the man was only three inches shorter than the soon to be sixteen year old. Maybe before the adolescent would have found it hilarious that he was taller than the genius and billionaire (and been shocked to have met him), but as things were, he had only mumbled thanks that first night and gone to take a shower.
So, that’s how things had been for two days, but now the coroner had released Hailey’s body and the funeral would be on Friday. That meant that they needed Hailey’s clothes, and while they couldn’t enter the Jones’s apartment yet, Riley had told Peter that she should have something in the clothes she’d taken to the Parkers.
Peter entered his aunt’s bedroom, wondering if he would have to take all her clothes and started to head toward the closet. He was confused not to see anything hanging inside, and instead he found Hailey’s bag. It was packed and ready to go. That was odd.
While Riley had never unpacked, Hailey had and made herself right at home. Her make-up, and other personal hygiene things had been on May’s dresser and inside the bathroom as well. Now, all of them had been put away into the travel bag they’d been brought in, and wondered how he hadn’t noticed that Sunday when he’d gotten up to get ready for the parade.
Why had Hailey packed all her things when they weren’t supposed to leave until this coming weekend? It made no sense. Hailey couldn’t tell them why anymore, and Riley mostly refused to speak.
He wondered... no, it was too dangerous. Wade had said not to speak to wraiths or ghosts or whatever they were. Besides, there was no guarantee that Hailey’s spirit was even still here. He didn’t have the sight like Wade did and would only be able to see her if he astral-projected.
Besides, Tony was waiting for him. He doubted the man would wait while he took a nap, and he couldn’t astral-project at will yet. Also, Peter was scared that he would see her, and he wasn’t sure how he’d feel if he saw that Hailey hadn’t passed on and was wandering around here. Peter wouldn’t able to live with that knowledge, and keep it quiet.
So, he grabbed Hailey’s already packed bags and headed back to the living room where he’d left his own backpack and Riley’s bag. Mr. Stark was sitting on the couch in the living room, and when he didn’t see the bags, he assumed he’d sent Happy down to put them in the car, since he didn’t see him anywhere.
“Ready to go, kid?”
Peter nodded, feeling like he was suffocating in this place. He hurried out of the apartment, keeping his head down again so he didn’t have to look at the sealed off apartment.
As he stepped into the elevator, he couldn’t resist a glance back, and thought he saw someone. Tony gently nudged him forward and Peter dismissed it as a shadow and continued on.
- ~ - ~ - ~ - ~
10:56am Peter stepped out of the elevator by himself, his backpack on his back, Hailey’s smaller bag thrown over his head to rest on his shoulder, and her larger bag and Riley’s own in each hand. He staggered from the weight of the bags, hearing the sound of the television at low volume somewhere down the hallway. It sounded like it was coming from the living room, and wondered if Riley had actually left his room.
Tony had gotten off on a lower floor, since he had several meetings scheduled that day which he hadn’t been able to get out of. So, he was alone as he moved down the hallway, setting all the bags down in front of his bedroom door so he could pick up later, and noticed that Riley’s bedroom door was ajar. That meant he had to have left the room, so moved quickly down to the living area.
The television, which was a massive 70 inch flat screen TV that took up most of the wall, was on. There were large floor to ceiling windows that took up the west side of the room, so there was plenty of sunlight coming in. There was what Peter called L shaped couches which were expensive but comfortable, and two chairs which all surrounded an equally expensive looking coffee table (it was in three parts with two that almost looked like foot rests). There was what was probably expensive art pieces hanging on the walls and close to the windows by the spiral staircase that led up to Tony’s penthouse suite. There was more of the living room, which included a hallway that led to the kitchen and a room that was either a pool or a hot tub, he wasn’t too sure since he hadn’t really explored much in the last two days.
The person he’d been searching for was laying on one side of the L shaped couch, covered by a blanket so only a tuffet of dark brown hair was seen. His sock-clad feet were hanging off the side of the couch, and he could make out that he had on the same sweatpants from yesterday.
Peter went over and sat on the couch by his head. “Riley, you should shower and change clothes,” he told him. The other grunted and shifted up so his head, blanket and all, was using his leg as a pillow and turned so his face was buried against his side. Peter sighed, feeling his face getting hot as his pitiful bi-heart started to beat faster and he ran his hand through the tangled strands of Riley’s hair that he could see. “Come on, you stink.”
“Rude,” the older boy grumbled, still sounding terribly sad. The other had just seemed to shut down, not having even answered his phone that had dinged several times with what were probably texts. He knew that it was probably that other boy he’d seen him with at the parade, Evan, and even if he was loath to encourage him to check his phone, he knew he couldn’t be petty. Maybe this Evan would help him where Peter couldn’t.
“Your phone keeps beeping,” he muttered. “You should check it.”
Riley grunted but didn’t move.
“My leg’s falling asleep,” he tried again.
The bundle of blankets sighed and shifted, and then he sat up. Peter let his hands fell away from his head, as he watched him. Riley was wearing one of Tony’s dark blue MIT t-shirts and gray sweatpants, and as he sat on the edge of the couch and pulled the blanket down, he saw how much more tousled Peter had made his hair by running his hand through it.
He stood and then shuffled off, Peter standing as he trotted after him to get him his bag. Peter grabbed it as well as Hailey’s two bags, bringing them to him as Riley paused at the door of the room Tony had given him to use. “Here, it’s... she had already packed before...” he said, biting his lip in regret as Riley’s face contorted in grief.
Riley reached out with a shaking hands and grabbed her bags, not knowing what the other was feeling. It hadn’t just been his sister that he had lost, but his other half. They’d been together since they’d been born, having shared the womb. Riley and Hailey had been as close as a pair of siblings  could be, and now it probably felt like a big part of Riley was missing. Peter didn’t know how he could still be standing.
As if the other had heard his thoughts, his legs buckled as he dropped the bags and Peter stepped forward in alarm, and catching hold of his shoulders. “I got you,” he whispered, shifting to support his weight. He staggered a bit but remained standing through will alone, not wanting the other to fall and also Riley hadn’t put all his weight on the smaller teen.
Peter pushed the door of Riley’s room open, walking in as the older boy leaned heavily against Peter. The younger teenager wondered if he should help him to the bathroom so he could shower, but was worried that he would collapse while showering. He seemed unsteady, so after a discreet sniff to make sure he didn’t really stink, he helped him to the bed. It likely wasn’t healthy for him to let himself wallow in his grief, but Peter didn’t have the heart to do anything else but let him sleep.
“Here,” he said as they made it to the bed, glad to see he hadn’t made it. Riley sat down hard and Peter reached forward to push him to lay back so he could cover him with the blanket. The other caught his hand and Peter froze, and his mouth opened in a silent gasp when Riley brought it to his face.
“Your hand is smooth,” he remarked as Peter stared down at him nonplussed. He had to look away, since he was starting to get really flustered and he wasn’t sure what he should do. This wasn’t a normal situation, and Riley wasn’t in the right state of mind at the moment. He’d thought the other might like him, because he remembered how he would always be putting his arm around him. Then he had helped him when he had been sick the night before the Parade. However, seeing him with Evan had crushed those thoughts.
Now, he wasn’t sure if he was in need of comfort or if he <i>did</i> actually like him. But it was just not the best time, not while Riley was hurting.
So, he put on a forced smile and hoped the room was dim enough that he couldn’t tell how fake it was. “That’s because I do science instead of plucking the strings of a guitar like you,” he said, pulling his hand away and nudging him down.
Riley went without complaint, grunting a response as he lay down. “Leave it,” he said when he tried to pull the blanket over him, having turned onto his side so he was facing the wall. That’s how Peter left him, knowing he’d have to all but drag him out of bed later for a shower, and hoped May would help him when the funeral arrived. He had his own grief to deal with and he couldn’t hope to hold both himself and Riley together during that.

July 3, 2015, Friday, 7:45pm
Peter sighed as he collapsed in his own bed, having barely returned today after the funeral. The Jones’s apartment was still sealed off, but even if it hadn’t they doubted Riley would stay there. So, he  was still staying with them until Miss Jones was released next month. At first May had offered her bed while Chris took the couch (the man was staying with them tonight for safety reasons even if Reginald Smith was in jail), but he had refused. He didn’t want to sleep in the same bed his sister had once slept in, no matter however brief. He’d also refused to sleep in Peter’s room after an expression had passed over his face too fast for Peter to be sure what it had been.
Peter had thought it was fear, but he had to be seeing things.
It was still early, but Peter felt tired, so after a quick goodnight to Chris (and a not so quick one to Riley), he’d gone to his room. Even now, he felt his eyelids growing heavy, but it had been a tiring day for everyone involved. As he drifted off to sleep, he wondered why he felt hostility between Chris and Riley, it was weird. Peter blinked as he looked at his almost transparent hands, and then glanced at his body sleeping in the bed. ‘Well, it’s been a while,’ he muttered,  since he hadn’t astral-projected a single time while at the tower. He would have likely been too scared to leave his room, since he knew that during Loki’s attack and then Ultron’s bombing, many people had died at the tower. He didn’t want to find that Mr. Stark’s bodyguard was still hanging around after having been killed. Peter thought his name had been Jarvis or something like that.
Although, he had the same fear here, since he was scared that... Hailey might be wandering her apartment. He’d probably stay in his apartment, and with that decision, he moved out of his bedroom. He passed through the door and immediately heard the television in the living room to indicate that Riley was likely still awake. He also heard a second voice, which meant that Chris was also still up.
Peter frowned as he entered the living room and saw Riley on the couch as Chris stood over him, the older teenager’s shoulders hunched defensively. ‘What-?’
“You’re lucky your sister went and got herself killed, or you’d be out on your ass,” the adult sneered, freezing Peter in place as his mouth dropped open. “But come Monday you’re going to make your excuses to May and get your filthy faggot ass back to your apartment.”
He didn’t know what to say or do, having never heard Chris speak like that. Peter didn’t like the man, had never liked him, but had only seen him be dismissive and a bit pushy at times. And not as he was now, face almost unrecognizable as it twisted in hatred and cruelty. So, Peter was in utter shock.
Peter turned his gaze on Riley, expecting him to be at the very least glaring at the man, since he wasn’t the type to take something like this lying down. At least, he thought so from the time he had been living with them. However, when he looked into Riley’s face, it was to see his face was pale, tired and defeated. The grief that had pulled him down like a gravity was in every line of his body and face, so much so, that he appeared almost older than the fifteen years he had.
Chris suddenly reached down and grabbed the other by the collar of his shirt. “Answer me, faggot,” he snapped, shaking him violently that Riley’s head snapped back.
Peter got angry as the light around him changed to red without realizing, outraged that Chris would dare treat his friend in this way, when he had just finished burying his sister in the ground a few hours ago. ‘Get off him!’ he screamed even if he knew they couldn’t hear him, lunging toward the other. His hands connected with something solid instead of passing through, and he concentrated with everything he had and shoved as hard as he could.
Chris yelped as he felt the force of the shove and staggered to the side as he released Riley, tripping over the coffee table and tumbling to the floor with a pained grunt. Riley stared down at Chris in confusion and surprise, a bit dazed from having been shaken so violently. Then Chris was sitting up in the next instant. “What the fuck?!” the man spat, so angry that a bit of spittle flew from his mouth. There was a rapidly forming bruise on his forehead where he’d hit the ground and a scrape on his cheek from having likely caught it on the edge of the coffee table. “You’re gonna pay for that, you fag!”
He stood menacingly and Peter scrambled between them, trying to protect Riley. However, he had exhausted himself by then, having used considerable force and will to manifest enough to physically touch the man. So, Chris passed through him with ease as he launched himself at the older teenager. As he did, Peter felt his legs give way underneath him as he was assaulted by the man’s memories; more vivid than they had ever been. It was like when he had passed through Reginald, but much much worse. ‘I got him, Chris. We’re sharing a room anyways. I’ll get him into bed.’
‘Oh, I bet you will,’ Chris sneered.
Riley flinched like he’d been struck at the man’s tone. ‘W-what? What’s that supposed to mean?’
The man chuckled but it wasn’t a nice sound; it was cruel and Peter wanted to cringe away from the man but as he relieved the moment, he was him. Peter wondered if his face looked like how he’d seen it moments before, twisted up and with such an ugly expression.
‘I’ve seen how you look at Peter. It makes me sick, your kind,’ he spat.
Riley’s lips pulled back to reveal his teeth in an expression of anger, arms tightened once more around an unconscious Peter in his lap. ‘What the fuck do you mean by ‘my kind’?’ he demanded.
Peter could feel what Chris was feeling at that moment, and the strong urge to spit on the teenager.
‘A faggot,’ he spat.
‘Fuck you, you homophobic asshole,’ Riley snarled.
‘You and your sister will leave, tomorrow,’ he told him. ‘It makes me feel filthy every time I come over and find you here.’ He turned to leave but paused, glancing back. ‘Don’t bother telling May or Peter, they won’t believe you,’ he taunted with a smirk. He opened the door, pausing a moment more. ‘Change his shirt,’ Chris snapped, sounding disgusted. ‘It’s got vomit on it.’
The sound of a door slamming ended that memory. It was suddenly morning and Peter knew it was that same morning he and May had left for the Parade. “We’re leaving babe. We’ll be back later,” May’s voice was in his ear. He heard Chris grunt and then the door closed, waiting a moment before he quickly got off the couch. Peter was confused as he went inside of his room, wondering what he was doing at the BiPap machine, wondering if he was checking it like before.
Then he was pulling something out of his pocket, a small bottle with a small brush on the bottom of the cap. He unscrewed it and opened the empty water tray, and started to cover the bottom of the tray with whatever was in the bottle. Peter was confused, wondering what was in the bottle. He’d never seen him do this before, so didn’t know what he was doing now when there was no one there.
He capped it quickly and shoved it in his pants pocket, turning to leave when he’d put the water tray back in the machine. The man froze when he saw someone in the open doorway, it was Hailey. ‘What are you doing?’ she asked suspiciously, eyes flicking to the BiPap machine. He saw realization in her face moments before he lunged at her. Peter screamed as he fell off the bed, having been flung back onto his body and grabbed fistfuls of his hair as he pulled as if to rip the memory out. He’d seen it, the man’s hands around Hailey’s vulnerable throat, the life leaving her eyes and then dumping the body inside her apartment. And it had been like he was doing it, seeing it through Chris’s eyes.
His bedroom door slammed open and he heard Riley’s voice, the older boy kneeling down next to him. “Pete?” He sat up with his help, looking up into Riley’s face and even without his glasses he could see the rapidly forming bruise on his cheek where Chris had no doubt struck him.
He didn’t know where his glasses were now, and the world around him had the same blurriness like when he was astral-projecting. It was almost surreal, but his mind cleared of these thoughts as he saw someone in the doorway, Chris.
Peter glared up at the man past his tears, his head pounding and his lungs burning. “You... you did it,” he accused. “You killed her.”-

Impossible Things and Strange New Worlds
Jon Symbiont – #Bookworm – A worm – Star Trek: Enterprise, Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Animated Series, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection, Star Trek: Nemesis, Trekverse / Star Trek: Remake Film, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Star Trek: Beyond, the Kelvin Timeline / The Mirror Universe
The Jon symbiont was born on the planet Trill in the year 2128. They were 22-32 during the Enterprise NX-01’s mission (Star Trek: Enterprise). Their host at the time was Tenn, who was 35-45 at the time.
Jon was the only offspring of the Don symbiont. Their parent symbiont has had a total of five hosts, two of whom had spouses. Mina Don, the first host, had a husband who was an unjoined Trill named Nathan, and they had a son named Quin, who is Jon’s brother. After Mina was Jasper, who had a wife named Alison, and they had a daughter, Jon’s sister, named Hailey. After that, there was Carrie, Clara and Yasmin.
Jon so far has had a total of eight hosts, as well as being briefly joined to a wolf, later named Eyolf, between his second and third hosts, and his sixth host was briefly merged with that same wolf due to a transporter malfunction. His hosts were Tenn, Beyrd, Eyolf (the wolf), Smyth, Frazyr, Sylvest, Kara, Karolf (Kara and Eyolf transporter malfunction), Myrln, and Jonas.
The Jon symbiont had only one biological offspring, named Blume, who was later joined to the son of one of Jon’s hosts with his wife, Anna. The symbionts Bae and Nel were also joined to sons of Anna and Jon’s hosts. The only symbiont to have had hosts before Anna and Jon’s sons was Bae, who had two hosts, one was a female named Erosa and the other was a male named Coop, before being joined to the son of Anna and Beyrd Jon, Tavin. Bae's host after Tavin was named Wilbur. Anna had nine (so far) biological children with various hosts of Jon, and has adopted ten children with him in addition to that, as well as of course Jon’s own biological offspring who was joined to one of their sons, and the two unrelated symbionts also joined to their sons, and their subsequent hosts. Kara Jon also had a daughter with a version of Anna from an alternate reality (referred to as Sean or “Sean II”), named Rosalyn. More details about the children of Jon’s hosts will be found below.
Anna Winden was married to the symbiont, and by extension, all of Jon’s hosts, despite the taboo against reassociation that could get Jon exiled and not allowed to have any more hosts. They kept it a secret from the Symbiosis Commission and other Trill until the law was repealed during the time of Jon’s sixth host, Kara. Anna is a Fae, an alien seemingly native to Earth despite the knowledge of the species being mostly obscured to humans, the dominant species of the planet. The Fae are an intelligent, sentient race, and seem to be highly advanced, though they like to keep hidden. Anna was originally a human who got turned into a fae. She has only met one other fae, her late husband named Finn, who was the one who turned her into a fae by accident. He was supposedly born as a fae, as far as Anna knows.
Tenn Jon – #Jon-I – David Tennant – Star Trek: Enterprise, Trekverse
Tenn Antinem was born on the planet Trill in 2116, and was 35 during the time of Enterprise NX-01’s mission (Star Trek: Enterprise). He was joined to Jon in the 2144 at the age of 28, and was the first host of the Jon symbiont.
He was born to Basil and Idris Antinem. He became a history teacher before being joined to the symbiont Jon. After Tenn was joined, he met and married Anna Winden. They had three children together, two daughters named Diana and Connor, and a son named Lowell. They are half Trill and half Fae. Tenn Jon continued to be a history teacher after being joined. Tenn died in the year 2224 at the age of 108. He was joined to Jon for 80 years. Before his death (of old-age), he and Anna got to meet Beyrd, who would be selected as Jon’s new host.
Beyrd Jon – #Jon-II – Peter Capaldi – Star Trek, Trekverse
Beyrd Cae was born on the planet Trill in the year 2184. He is joined to Jon in 2224 at the age of 40, which is fairly old for a host to be first joined.
His parents were Gerald and Nancy Cae. Beyrd is a Trill musician and got a Doctorate in Music before being joined. Just before he was joined to Jon, he met the previous host, Tenn, and Jon’s wife, Anna, who wanted to continue to be married to Jon. Beyrd and Anna went on one date before he was joined to Jon. After he was joined with the Jon symbiont, he and Anna got married. They kept it a secret from the Symbiosis Commission and other Trills because of the taboo against reassociation that could result in him being exiled and the Jon symbiont no longer allowed to have any hosts after him. He and Anna had a son named Tavin. Tavin was half Trill and half Fae. Tavin was joined to the Bae symbiont, who previously had two other hosts, the first one was Erosa and the second was Coop.
Beyrd and Anna crash-landed on a planet called Symarill in the year 2254, when Beyrd was 70. Beyrd was severely injured and there was no chance of him recovering. He couldn’t stay alive long enough for them to be rescued, but the symbiont was unharmed inside of him. Of course, if Beyrd dies and Jon doesn’t get a new host, Jon would die with him, but Beyrd and Anna were the only two on the planet and she couldn’t perform the operation on herself. There was an injured wolf nearby, and Anna helped heal the injured wolf and he agreed to host Jon, which kept Jon alive long enough for them to be rescued.
Eyolf – #Wolf-Jon – A wolf – Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Animated Series, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection, Star Trek: Nemesis, Trekverse
The First of the Sentient Symarillion Wolves was born on the planet Symarill in the year 2250, and briefly joined to Jon in the year 2254. He is alive and with Anna and Jon for hundreds of years (throughout DISC, TOS/TAS, TNG/DS9/VOY).
The wolf didn’t have a name before he met Anna and Jon after they crash-landed on his home planet of Symarill. He was four years old when he met them. When he first met Anna, he was injured by the same meteors that made Jon and Anna’s ship crash, and it killed most of his pack. His parents, the pack alpha male and female, and his brother, were killed. He and his sister survived, but he didn’t know that at first. Anna found the wolf and she helped heal his injured leg and with his permission, he took on the Jon symbiont temporarily after Beyrd’s death, until they were able to be rescued. He was able to keep Jon alive long enough for the rescue ship to get there, and they were able to get Jon into his next host, Smyth, in enough time that it did not kill the wolf.
He was changed by the experience, though, smarter and completely loyal to Anna and Jon. He stayed with them, and they gave him the name Eyolf, which meant “Lucky Wolf.” He’s a very important part of their family. He helped them raise their children Aiden, Calder and adopted Changeling son Pete. He also had a family of his own with a female wolf from Symarill named Patience. They had five puppies together, three sons named Alfred, Albert, and David, and two daughters named Esme and Georgia. Anna and Jon helped them raise them, as well as his sister, her mate, and their children, who they discovered had survived the falling meteors when Anna, Eyolf and Smyth Jon first returned to the planet. Their children, their children’s mates, Eyolf’s sister and her mate’s children, and the family’s descendants are who go on to create an entire species of sentient wolves on Symarill who later become warp-capable and join the Federation. Anna, Jon and Eyolf still visit the planet often.
Anna, Smyth Jon, and Eyolf met versions of themselves from another reality. At the time it was the Doctor (The Twelfth Doctor) and Anna (fobwatched!Patience II). When Eyolf’s wolf body dies, they go back to that universe, where they meet the Twelfth Doctor again, as well as Sean I (Patience III), and HoloJohn (formerly fobwatched!Doctor’s personality that is really an alternate version of Jon, in this case taking the form of their current host, Smyth. He had a human body but his body died and they saved his consciousness inside of the TARDIS, their living ship, and she’s projecting him as a hologram. Twelve and John are both married to Anna, or Patience, who in this case is actually Sean), as well as Bill and Nardole, the Doctor’s companions at the time. Nardole has at least some robotic parts and John is a hologram, and the Doctor has been thinking about how to transfer John’s consciousness from inside the TARDIS to a robotic body, and he agrees to help them save Eyolf by trying the procedure on him first, and they successfully transferred Eyolf’s consciousness from his dying wolf body into a robotic wolf body. Eyolf stays with Anna and Jon for hundreds of years after that in his robotic wolf form.
Eyolf and Jon’s sixth host, Kara, were accidentally merged into one being, called Karolf, in a transporter accident and had to stay like that for several months before they were able to figure out how to reverse it.
Smyth Jon – #Jon-III – Eddie Redmayne – Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Animated Series, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Trekverse / Star Trek: Remake Film, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Star Trek: Beyond, the Kelvin Timeline
Smyth Artemis was born on the planet Trill in the year 2229 and he was joined to the Jon symbiont in the year 2254 at the age of 25. He was 27 during the Discovery’s mission (Star Trek: Discovery), 37-42 during the Enterprise NCC-1701’s five year mission (Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Animated Series) and is 44-64 during Enterprise NCC-1701’s additional adventures and Enterprise NCC-1701-A’s mission (Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country).
Smyth was 29-34 during the Enterprise NCC-1701’s missions in the Kelvin Timeline (Star Trek, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Star Trek: Beyond)
His parents were Sydney and Verity Artemis. Due to the sudden death of Beyrd, Jon and Anna were unable to meet Smyth before the joining, but he adapted well anyway. After he was joined with the Jon symbiont, he and Anna also got married in private and they had two children together, identical twin sons named Aidan and Calder, and they adopted a third son, a changeling named Pete. Smyth is an astrozoologist with experience in stellar cartography, as well, and was on the Enterprise 1701 briefly in stellar cartography and in exobiology. He was a lieutenant in Starfleet at the time, and got as far as commander in his lifetime, but never wanted to be the captain of a Federation Starship, only his own small private one he has with his wife that is not much larger than a shuttlepod. Smyth Jon met Frazyr Hines, who would become Jon's next host, briefly before he died from an illness due to old age in the year 2349.
In my game on Star Trek Online, John Smith went to the academy with Chekov, and he becomes captain of the USS Ambrosius.
Frazyr Jon – #Jon-IV – Hadley Fraser – Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection, Star Trek: Nemesis, Trekverse
Frazyr Hines was born on the planet Trill in the year 2322 and he was joined to the Jon symbiont in the year 2349 at the age of 27. Although he was a citizen of the 24th century, Frazyr was recruited by time travelers from the 31st century to be a Temporal Agent, enforcing the Temporal Accord and preserving the timeline from those who seek to change it, during the Temporal Cold War. He was given a 31st century timeship made to look like a small personal ship from the 24th century, his home timezone, and given a job working for the 24th century Federation's Department of Temporal Investigations.
During Enterprise NCC-1701-C, Enterprise NCC-1701-D, and Enterprise NCC-1701-E’s missions (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection and Star Trek: Nemesis), during the investigation of the Wormhole to the Gamma Quadrant and the war with the Dominion (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), and during the time the Starship Voyager was lost in the Delta Quadrant (Star Trek: Voyager), Frazyr would’ve been 42-57, but he was traveling throughout different time periods, so that time is a bit fuzzy and he was not there through all of it.
Frazyr and Anna traveled to many different points in time and space during this time. One time, Frazyr traveled back in time to 2289. He was sent to stop an enemy from the Temporal Cold War from committing a Temporal Incursion, killing people in the past and messing with the timeline. He successfully preserved the timeline, but was fatally injured in the process. They were able to get him to Trill in enough time so that Jon could be joined to another host. They explained to the Symbiosis Commission the odd circumstances, with enough proof (his 31st century timeship) to convince them, and they were able to get him a new host in time before Frazyr died. Frazyr also told them that he would temporarily be retiring to another planet to avoid interfering with the timeline too much, since his timeship was damaged enough so it would no longer be able to travel in time, and he had no way of contacting his superiors from the future.
Sylvest Jon – #Jon-V – Sylvester McCoy – Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Animated Series, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Trekverse / Star Trek: Remake Film, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Star Trek: Beyond, the Kelvin Timeline
Sylvest Hugh was born on the planet Trill in the year 2255. He was 1 year old during Discovery’s mission (Star Trek: Discovery), he was 11-16 years old during the Enterprise NCC-1701’s five year mission (Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Animated Series), and he was 18-38 during the Enterprise NCC-1701’s additional adventures and Enterprise NCC-1701-A’s mission (Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country).
Sylvest was 3-8 during the Enterprise NCC-1701’s missions in the Kelvin Timeline (Star Trek: Remake film, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Star Trek: Beyond)
His parents were Molly and Percy Hugh. Sylvest was a xenoentomologist, astroarthropodologist, and xenoparasitologist as well as a parasite conservationist. Sylvest doesn’t condone deliberate parasitism in sentient species, he is merely studying them to find ways to give them non-harmful alternatives or to help the hosts (if they are willing) so the parasites no longer cause harm to them while they still provide the ex-parasite now-commensalistic symbiote with what it needs to survive. Jon was transferred to Sylvest at the age of 34. Sylvest barely met Frazyr and Anna before he was joined. Anna and Sylvest got married in a private ceremony on the planet Symarill, where they remained, watching over the development of the Symarillion Wolves, and Sylvest worked on his own research of how to help parasites to stop needing to harm their hosts with the help of Anna and the Symarillion Wolves. He briefly met Kara in the year 2379 when Sylvest was dying of old age. Anna went on a date with Kara before Kara was joined to Jon. Many of the wolves on Symarill have continued Sylvest's work with parasites and other symbiotic lifeforms.
Kara Jon – #Jon-VI – Melissa Benoist – Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection, Star Trek: Nemesis, Trek-verse
Kara Sanders was born on the planet Trill in the year 2341. She was 24-37 during Enterprise NCC-1701-C, Enterprise NCC-1701-D, and Enterprise NCC-1701-E’s missions (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection and Star Trek: Nemesis), during the investigation of the Wormhole to the Gamma Quadrant and the war with the Dominion (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), and during the time the Starship Voyager was lost in the Delta Quadrant (Star Trek: Voyager).
Kara Sanders, who will become Jon’s sixth host, was born in the year 2341 to parents Julie and Jim Sanders. She has a sister named Alex and a cousin named Clark who she is close with. She’s always known what she wanted. She wanted to work for Starfleet and to become a Joined Trill. She starts preparing herself right away and spends her childhood getting herself ready for Starfleet Academy and the Symbiosis Commission. She always gets top grades in school, and she goes through the Academy to become a Starfleet engineer serving aboard starships and exploring strange new worlds.
In the year 2365 during the second season of TNG, Kara successfully goes through the Symbiosis Commission’s screening process and is chosen to be Jon’s sixth host. She meets Sylvest Jon and goes on a date with Anna to get to know her future wife. Sylvest dies at the age of 70, and Jon is joined with Kara, their sixth host, at the age of 24, the youngest host to have ever been joined to Jon.
Kara and Anna get married in secret, of course. At some point, I’m not exactly sure on the details of where in her timeline it is, a bee-like alien who is a part of a hivemind implants its eggs into Kara. They know nothing about what kind of alien it is apart from what little they can tell from their scans. Kara and Anna decide to see it through and host the eggs and care for the babies, especially if the parent or parents never come back. There are four eggs. Their ship’s doctor said if there are any signs that the babies will severely harm or kill Kara at any point they can always take the eggs out and hope (or not hope) they can survive without her, but they never need to. The eggs hatch and they raise their four beautiful beebies together. Eventually the beebies are reunited with the rest of the hivemind and teach them to only implant their eggs in people when they have their permission, and Kara and Anna take them to Symarill where the wolves gladly agree to host the eggs of the bee hivemind. Kara and Anna visit Symarill a lot. Kara probably borrows Frazyr’s time machine more than once when he is in their time period. Since she was him, she’ll remember when and where to go. She always returns it.
Also at some point, Anna and Kara visit their other selves from the Doctor Whoniverse, and Kara and Sean II (Patience VI) have a baby together named Rosalyn, who switches off between realities and is raised by Kara Jon and Jon’s Anna, John IV, Sean II and the Eighteenth Doctor. Anna and Kara also probably have babies where they are pregnant together at some point, and probably not but Jon’s Anna might also at some point have John IV and/or Eighteen’s baby/babies.
During Voyager seasons 6-7, a transporter malfunction combines Kara and Eyolf into one person, Karolf, for several months. When they are finally separated again, they can both still remember each other’s memories.
Sometime after Nemesis, the law against Reassociation is repealed and Kara and Anna have a public Trill wedding with Kara’s family to celebrate.
In the year 2441 Kara dies at the age of 101. Kara and Jon were joined for 76 years. She briefly meets Myrln, who will be Jon’s next host, before she dies. She lived the longest any of Jon’s hosts have lived.
In my game on Star Trek Online, Kara was an engineer and she becomes captain of the USS Kryptonius.
Myrln Jon – #Jon-VII – Colin Morgan – Star Trek, Trek-verse
Myrln Jeth was born on the planet Trill in the year 2416 to parents Ambrosius and Aurelia Jeth. He met Kara, Jon’s previous host, and Jon’s wife Anna in 2441, shortly before Kara died. He was selected to be Jon’s next host and was joined with Jon when Kara died. Myrln was a scientist and became a Federation Ambassador. He died met Jonas Frere, who would be selected to be Jon’s next host, in the year 2491 at the age of 75. He was joined to Jon for 50 years.
Jonas Jon – #Jon-VIII – Nick Jonas – Star Trek, Trek-verse
Jonas Frere was born on the planet Trill in the year 2467 to the parents Denise and Paul Frere. He met Myrln and Anna in the year 2491 at the age of 24, shortly before Myrln died and he was joined with Jon. He eventually became a captain of a Federation Starship and later a Starfleet Admiral.

The Orville-Verse (can also be modified for other similar Sci-Fi universes, including Star Trek)
(Partially inspired by the plot of the novel and movie 'Every Day')
The Jon Entity has no memories before sharing the mind of a newborn baby named Smyth on the day of his birth. He has no idea how he got there or if he was alive before the child's birth. Perhaps he was created with him. All his life Smyth would be visited by what he was told was an imaginary friend, but felt more like a part of himself. Sometimes his friend would be gone for weeks at a time, and only ever stayed one day before disappearing again, and come back at random intervals, but he would always come back to him. Smyth always knew he was real. Jon told him that when he was gone from Smyth, he would share someone else's mind, but it would always be a random person, he hopped from mind to mind every night, and it was never like how it was with Smyth. He would always either have no control at all over the body he was inhabiting, being only an observer in the back of someone's mind, or he would have too much control, where he couldn't contact the body's original inhabitant at all, and they would have no memory of the day he was there when he left. He discovered this when he hopped into the body of people who knew each other back to back. During the times he had total control, he had no idea what to do. He would do his best to blend in, do what they would've done and not mess anything in their life up. It was never like that with Smyth. They had equal control and total communication when they were together. When Smyth was a teenager, they started experimenting with it, and the Jon Entity began to be able to control whose mind he hops into. Once Smyth and Jon were sure Jon could control who he hops into, they went to the Academy. When they were accepted in, they got a doctor from the Planetary Union (or Starfleet, or whatever) to examine Smyth while Jon was there and actually detect him. It wasn't an imaginary friend, or schizophrenia, or dissociative identity disorder, as he was sometimes told when he was younger, it was an energy lifeform cohabitating inside his neural pathways, sharing his mind and control of his body in a symbiotic relationship. The Planetary Union (or the Federation or whatever) has never come in contact with Jon's species before. They request special permission to find nine other people willing to work with Jon as stable hosts, as they found that ten hosts was the smallest amount possible for Jon to be able to consistently hop into without problems. The ten hosts, and of course Jon, all became very close, almost like family, and once they all graduated they were all assigned to the same ship so that Jon wouldn't have to find new hosts. Sometimes Jon hops into Smyth's dog Eyolf.
