second program done – grade 4s again but from a co-ed school
these kids were soooo different from last week’s angels – i think this was genuinely the worst listening ability i’ve ever seen in a group of kids. we never once had silence, it was impossible to get their attention. and it was kind of cute because they all just liked each other a lot and wanted to talk to each other all the time but holy shit. even one minute of actual listening was not achievable.
this group was also a little bit like “too cool for school” and many of them were referencing memes etc which is so sad and disorienting to see from 9 year olds…
that said, at the end of the program we did a gratitude activity and got really genuine answers about like food, nature, family/friends etc so obviously some things clicked. i also got real engagement and insightful answers after the sit spot with my group which was interesting because i honestly didn’t think they would be able to handle it. but sometimes they surprise you
i definitely started the week in a funk and would randomly sink into despair whenever i had a minute to myself. this is the first job i’ve had where i haven’t had coworkers who became true friends (it’s only been two weeks but my only coworkers are three people in the mid 30s to early 40s range who are all my direct superior…..) obviously that’s just lucky on my part but i think it’s actually taking a toll that i just do the work and then I’m completely alone and i’m the only new person and there’s nobody to just like chat shit and process the new working environment with. it feels like being an only child again – i dont know anything and the three of them know each other super well and people are nice to me but there’s nobody to hang out with. and this makes it harder for me to pull off the energy i need to engage kids for 14 hours a day because i have no outlet for anything when I’m there. it’s kind of lonely.
last weekend i was sooooo anxious about canoeing and my walkabout and i had literally no reason to be it was completely fine. canoeing actually kind of pissed me off because nobody gave me any instructions and the tide was sooooooo low that it was so difficult and chaotic to launch…. then when we were trying to raft up with the other canoes i meant to tell the left side to do something but i accidentally said right so we went the wrong way and it just felt so shitty idk. and then when we landed the tide was still so low and my boat hit a sandbar so I had to push us back out and try again to come in and my hiking boots got full of water and i was actually just in such a bad mood. ugghhhhh it was literally fine i just was pissed off
because of that my boots were wet for the entire program and it was so uncomfortable. and now I need to figure out what to do because they smell foul
the weather was unbelievable like it was sunny as they got off the ferry and then it started raining as soon as we launched the canoes an hour later. then it rained and was freezing for 48 hours straight until we did our closing circle and as soon as they got on the ferry to leave it was sunny again…. audacious weather
my poor kids were soaking wet and freezing and we still had to eat lunch outside and they kept asking me why we had to eat outside and i was like girl i literally have no idea. we’re trying to cram 50 people under this tiny tarp can we not just find somewhere to go under cover or indoors like this is insane.
on that note like we literally just need more staff. trying to run programs like this with a staff team of literally 4 people is insane. even just one extra set of hands would make a huge difference and they have no backup plan if somebody gets sick/injured
i’m worried that one of the teachers gave negative feedback about me on the evaluation forms??? there was just some weird specificity in handing out the forms in our debrief meeting that seemed like there was something about either me or one specific other staff member. and that’s fair because i don’t think i did my best work this week but i do wanna know and it sucks because I have THREE BOSSES and NO COWORKERS so everybody just gets to know except for me
i don’t even know like…. in this job i’ve experienced a range from “i like this” to “i actively dislike this” which has never really happened to me at a job like this before. I’ve never once been like wow i love this so much!!! and it’s unusual for my to not enjoy work/being outdoors to the point that i just want to go home. it has its redeeming moments for sure and it seems to get better as the week goes on but it’s hard to not have coworkers that aren’t my superior
my main boss said i was really funny and everybody liked the characters i did this week 👍
got my first pay check and not a moment too soon
i am really looking forward to my summer job w the whales and i have a zoom call with the team on monday so that’s something to look forward to
the program this upcoming week is a completely new curriculum in a completely new location so i’m basically starting from scratch…… sigh.
only 5 more programs babe… it’s fine

HELLO CLARII BBY!
⚡ ANON HERE~
i hope you are doing good mentally physically and emotionally if not remember its okay to feel down sometimes we all have our moments but what matters is that we stand back again and be better than before♡
SO I WAS JUST READING THROUGH THE ASKS and i found out you too love rain and winter🥺ahhh that made me really happy cause almost eveyone around me prefer summer cause its viewed as happy and fun time i get it too lile ice creams beach people but i dont exactly vibe with it
but when it comes to rainy time especially winter.. smth is just so beautiful idk wether its the comforting silence or my love for cold as i literally prefer everything cold like my drink my food my water temperature or wtv it is! it should be cold snth about it just calms me down
or maybe its the fact its during my birthday time 27th dec perfect time for birthday for me i just loveee the Christmas decorations the lights the fairy feeling end of the year all that are just sappy feelings just makes me feel like im exploding with emotions in a good way
one of the reasons my snowman and me series is so dear and so close to my heart
when it comes to rain.. the whole mood is just so comforting i can pour out all my feelings and my place if covered in plants and trees like its just so beautifully green after the rain.. god is it the most spectacular view and the weather right in the middle after it rained and before the sun starts to shine... the perfect. i just love it so much i will always make sure i get drenched cause i love dancing in the rain no matter what if it rains you can see me outside :>
plus points if it has thunders and lightnings cause they are just so beautiful.
ANYWAYS THIS IS GETTING TOO LONG
( IM SO SORRYY😭 )
BUT I JUST WANTED TO EXPRESS MYSELF CAUSE YOU JUST COMFORT ME SO MUCH AND YOU'RE JUST STRAIGHT UP ADORABLE 🥺
stay safe drink lots of water and remember if you ever feel like you are alone I'm right here♡
HEHEHE aw lightning bb <33
you're so precious!!!! i'm feeling a little weird today; last night i was suffering from sensory overload rly bad but today i just feel really jittery n anxious :( but!!! i have asks queued for today which always makes me feel better and makes me feel productive!! <33
yes!!! i actually hate summer so much LMAO >.< it usually makes me feel even more depressed, which is hilarious ahaha but i've felt that way since i was about 13ish??? i also hate being hot (like it makes me ANGRY) and i absolutely despise sweating, so summer and i don't often get along well </3
i agree with you!!! i love the cold (and cold food/drinks, too!!!) and i too find something insanely comforting about the rain and the snow; i find it very cozy <3 i dunno, it's quite hard to explain!!! i think, for me, there's also a personal element to it as my happiest memories as a child seem to all be in the winter/around christmas, and now i just automatically associate summer with all of the bad experiences i've had lmao
AHHHHHHH LIL LIGHTNING BOLT LISTEN I LOVE CHRISTMAS LIKE I LOVE CHRISTMAS SO SO SOOOOO MUCH!!!! i also really love halloween, but if i absolutely had to choose one favourite, it would be christmas <3
ah see i have a very complicated relationship with my birthday, which thankfully is not in winter hehe <33 but i can understand where you're coming from!!!
i love the smell of rain, and i love the sound of it against windows and roofs when it's really pouring hehe <33 i like to describe it in my writing a lot and i am possibly writing a lil something with rain in it right now 🙊 hehe <3
AH MY PRECIOUS LIL LIGHTNING BOLT i love you so very much, you comfort me as well bb <333 it's very very nice to know that you are here for me and that i am here for you!!!! <3 i hope you have a lovely weekend sweetpea <3
ps. it seems that i picked the right emoji for u, huh!!!! lightning bolt is very fitting <33

Last movie you watched? On TV I just watched The Parent Trap. In theaters I recently saw The Invisible Man.
Do you like anyone at the moment? Not in the romantic sense.

Do you smoke? No. What are you going to do after this? Probably another survey. Or read.
What’s your favourite word? I can never think of one when asked this.
Was today a good day? Quite boring. It’s weird cause majority of my days are the same, I do the same things. Usually I’m okay with doing my usual things. Some days they just don’t cut it, though. The day just seems to drag extra slow. I also feel extra tired and drained.

Mars or snickers? Snickers.

Do you believe in ghosts? Yes.
How late were you up last night? Until almost 6AM.

Would you delete your facebook if they removed ‘notes’? I removed notes a long time ago. I didn’t care.
Which past era other than this one (70s, 80s, etc) would you like to visit? The 80s. I also think it’d be cool to visit the 90s as an adult and see it from that perspective.
Are you a morning or a night person? I’m barely a person.
Do you like thunder & lightning storms? Yes.
Last time you threw up from drinking? 7 years ago. The last night I drank was the worst night I ever had from drinking. After that, I was like I’m sooooo over this.
Do you have any nicknames? Steph and Sis.
Do you enjoy dubstep? No.
Do you have a Twitter account? Yep.
Do you wear glasses? Yes.
Are you a different person now than you were last year? You basically asked this already.
Would you rather get your tongue or lip pierced? Neither. I did used to want a lip piercing when I was 16, though. Of course I was too big of a baby.

Could you live without your phone? I mean yeah life would go on, but it would suck. I don’t even use it for typical phone purposes like calling or texting all that much, I use it mostly for the apps. I prefer the app versions of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Spotify. I also go on Instagram and Snapchat a lot. And I use the Kindle app to read a lot of my books.
Do you have a weird food combination you like? e.g. Pombears with Nutella The one that came to mind first is scrambled eggs and ranch.
Do you like Ke$ha? I like a few of her songs.

What’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever done? Oh, that’s a long list that just keeps getting longer.
Would you ever get a tattoo on the inside of your lip? Noooo. That sounds super painful.
Can you sleep in total darkness? No. I sleep with the TV on for that reason and for the sound because I can’t have it completely quiet either.
Current mood? Bored, hungry, tired, blah.
Do your parents allow you to date? I’m 30 years old. I can’t use that excuse for why I’m still single, ha.

Do you use smiley faces on the computer? Yeah.
Is there someone who you can spend every minute with and not get annoyed? My doggo.

Irvine Half Marathon Results and Mud Run?
Hello! I ran the Irvine Half Marathon this weekend and it was packed with a few surprises! These are my results and recap – if you ran the race feel free to link your recap in the comments.
Tumblr media
Irvine Half Marathon Race Recap
Packet Pick-Up: There was NO race day packet pick-up. Boo. One of my favorite things is when races let you get your race bib (number) the morning of the race. It can be a big hassle to have to drive to the race location the night before a race…. go home… wake up at the crack of dawn to go back to that same place you were yesterday. There are a lot of races around Southern California and there are also a lot of people in here – this means there's a lot of traffic. Since this was a Saturday race – runners had to get their stuff Thursday or Friday night. Luckily I live super close to the race starting line – but if I lived in Long Beach or near my parents… nope. I would have had to drive for hours out and back – only to have to do that again the next day.
Related: One time Skinny Runner and I were supposed to run a race in San Diego and had to pick up our stuff the day before. The traffic was soooooo bad – dead stop, going no where on the 405 bad – that we decided to turn around and not do the race.
Race Tee: Short sleeve tech tee. I liked it.
Tumblr media
Logistics: I live close by so it should have been no problem to get to the start line – but I didn't know what streets were closed and ended up having to detour and find a new route. I think there were directions from the freeway but not street directions. I didn't need to get on the freeway so that didn't really get me the info I needed.
Parking: Free. Boom!
Race Morning: I was late. (See: logistics) But there wasn't a lot of traffic and the race started on time! The late arrival was on me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was walking to the starting line when the gun went off. So on the bright side – I got some good photos of the race start! And these were the only good pictures from the race because it started to rain when I had about 1 mile left. After the race it was raining pretty hard and I didn't want to have my phone out in it so I asked someone to snap a quick post-race pic and then made a bee line to my car. Or maybe I made a ladybug line because I'm not a bee. But I don't know if I'm really a lady either so… Basically I rushed to the car because I was freezing.
Tumblr media
Race Course: This is similar to the Lexus Lace Up Irvine half course… but there are a few small differences. It's a fairly flat course around Irvine, CA neighborhoods and bike paths.
Tumblr media
There was one big challenge on race day in the form of a … mud pit / puddle / lake situation. The rain from the night before flooded the path and there was a section covered in muddy water that went past your ankles. When I got to this part I stopped for a second because everyone in front of me was trying to navigate this area by going to the right or left of it. There was a guy coming back on the right side so I assumed he didn't think that was the way to go… so I went left.
Well, there was no way around it (literally). Runners just had to carefully walk through the mud water and trying to go to the side helped keep it from being too deep.
But another runner showed me a picture of their attempt to go around it to the right and it turns out – if you stayed up against the wall you could mostly get around it without having to step in the water completely.
I probably would have fallen in so I'm okay with my choice – it looked like they were completely against the wall and one lil lean the wrong way would mean stepping into it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finish Line: I didn't stay for any post race party, food, free beer, etc. At that point it was raining and I was freezing and just wanted to get home and into the shower. Plus – Diego was waiting for me at home!
Tumblr media
Overall: I would do this race again. It's so close! And the weather was the main drawback, but it's rare to deal with super challenging weather around here. Maybe I should call it an inconvenience instead?
Tumblr media
Race Grade: On a scale of 1 to 5… um, I'm going to say a 3.4.
But this is the first time I've used this scale so… maybe I'll have to edit this when I start to grade more races.
Results: My finish time was 1:52:46
Tumblr media
The good thing about Saturday races is Sunday rest day feels sooooo good.
Tumblr media
And 1st place for the cutest half marathon medal wearing Golden Retriever is…
  Diego Redvera!!
Tumblr media

Portugal Tiene Mi Corazón (Portugal Has My Heart)
Hola a todos!
So last week, I booked a trip to Lisbon, Portugal because some of my friends were going and I wanted to do something fun for the weekend. I had no idea what to expect. It ended up being one of the most amazing weekends of my life! Portugal is insanely beautiful and even though we were only there for less than two days, we saw so much!
We had overnight round trip trains, which was good and bad. Good because we got to spend the entirety of both days exploring instead of wasting time with the hassle of travel, and bad because it was awful to sleep on the train. It was about a 7 hour trip, and the way there it was hot, uncomfortable and loud, but the way back was actually way better and I slept most of the way. I also had a fun little panic attack because I got on the train, with everyone else to go home, and went to my seat and someone was sitting in it. I said “Excuse me, that’s my seat.” And she goes “Let me see your ticket...... Um this ticket is for tomorrow..” and I said, “Excuse me, WHAT?” So yeah, I booked the train for the day after that. It was the same time, gate, everything, just the wrong day. Thankfully the conductor was super nice and helpful, found me an empty seat, and let me stay. Thank God.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When we arrived, it was very early in the morning. We even had to wait for McDonald’s to open! But it was worth it: I had a macaroon and a mocha, while enjoying and amazing view of the ocean.
Tumblr media
Then we walked along the ocean, taking in the gorgeous views, while also getting attacked by the wind and rain. Worth it.
Tumblr media
The girls!
After a photo shoot by the ocean, we went to an aquarium! We got to see really cool fish, watch the otters get fed, and learn about animals that are native to Portugal. After our tour of the aquarium, we were very hungry! There might have been some correlation there.. (Yum, crab!) So we found a very cool form of transportation!
Tumblr media
This was the view! Que guay :) (How cool!)
Then we had a really good meal at this buffet we found. They had Portuguese, Brazilian, and Chinese food. I had sooooo much sushi, I almost exploded. It was soooo good, and the waiter loved us so he gave us a free plate of beef! (Best beef I ever had!) After that, we took the telecabine back to the other side, then decided to take a bus to ‘downtown’ Lisbon, where our hostel was. We couldn’t check in yet, so we explored. We walked up a lot of hills, (reminded me of San Francisco) to get to this amazing castle called São Jorge Castle (St. Jorge’s Castle) I was out of breath and my back hated me (because we all still had our backpacks on) but it was so worth it even though the weather was kind of crappy. I mean, see for yourself.
Tumblr media
You can see the most of Lisbon from there, the ocean, and the beautiful suspension bridge. It was amazing. I wish I could live in a castle.
We stayed at the castle for a while, then decided to go check into our hostel. First time ever staying in a hostel and it was an amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend. The workers there were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious, the showers were roomy and hot, and the atmosphere was fantastic! There was free sangria tasting, and we also got to try a typical Portuguese sausage too. Me and my friends had a blast playing cards, and meeting people from all over the world. We decided to cook dinner at the hostel instead of eat out, which ended up being super cheap and much more fun! Julianna and I made spaghetti, and one of the workers gave us some cool cooking tips! If you put a chicken flavored bouillon cube in the spaghetti sauce, it gives it soooo much more flavor! Our meal turned out really great! My favorite thing about the hostel was the atmosphere, the workers are interacting with you, you can meet people from all over the world, everyone is hanging out, playing games, watching movies, making food. It chaotic, but peaceful at the same time. I loved it! I can’t wait to experience more hostels in the future!
The next day we woke up, had breakfast and had our day all planned out. Until... (we got to leave our bags at the hostel, which was awesome because that meant we didn’t have to carry them around all day) the worker that was helping us put away our bags, asked us what our plans were for the day, and we told him, and he’s like “Eh, sounds alright, but if I were you I’d go to Sintra for the day.” And then he showed us some pictures and we were sold. We ditched our plans, bought train tickets, and rode the 40 minutes to Sintra, Portugal. We are so glad we changed our plans because it was one of the most beautiful cities I have been to ever.
Sintra is a tourist city with a huge mountain that has 5 castles on it! They are all so beautiful and unique. The hostel worker’s recommendation was to go to the Quinta da Regaleira which was a “summer estate” palace and garden that was so incredibly beautiful. It had this huge well that lead to underground tunnels and caves that we got to explore!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This was one of the towers of the palace. In the background, you can see the rest of the mountain and on top if you look close, you can see another castle too!
So beautiful! We could have stayed just at that one palace all day because there was so much to explore. We wanted to see more of the castles and mountains, so we had to move on.
Next, we wanted to go all the way to the top of the mountain so we were looking for transportation because we didn’t have time to walk the hour plus hike. We met this woman that was super nice and gave us a ride to the top in her tuk tuk. They are very small, so we had to take two. She also told us about the history of Sintra and the Kings and their castles. Basically, a long time ago, there were some castles and buildings in the city of Sintra, where a King lived. Then there was a HUGE earthquake that destroyed the entire city, and parts of Lisbon. So the next King rebuilt the entire city, bigger and better than before. He was very creative and innovative and his beautiful castles and gardens still stand today.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a classic Tuk-Tuk!
Tumblr media
After the Tuk- Tuk dropped us off, we had to buy a ticket to get inside the castle grounds. We didn’t go inside the beautiful and colorful Pena Palace, but we did climb to the very very top of the mountain. It it called Alta Cruz (High Cross) and there, we got to see a 360 degree view of the city. We could see the ocean, Lisbon, EVERYTHING. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life. Definitely in my ‘Top 5 Most Beautiful Things I Have Ever Seen.” It took my breath away. I could have stayed there forever. We then caught the train to go back to Lisbon, where we looked for a restaurant to have dinner. (We were starving. Especially me because I hadn’t eaten anything so far.) We found one in Plaza Mayor, right by the ocean, where I had an amazing meal! I had a salmon burger, with garlic fries! YUM!
Tumblr media
After dinner, we went back to the hostel to pick up our bags, say goodbye to the workers, and head to the train station. First we had to pick up some classic Portuguese pastries before we left! This is called Nata. It was amazing. We each had two... We also got some souvenirs, and then enjoyed our last hour in Lisbon, appreciating the ocean and taking in the beauty of the city.
Tumblr media
Even though we had some bumps along the way, like my train ticket, Juj having to wait an hour for her SALAD, and getting caught in the rain, it was still an amazing weekend. Back in the school routine now, but not for long, because this weekend I go to Barcelona! I’m so excited to go back there. I think it’s my favorite city in the world! Hopefully it’s as lovely this time as it was last time.
Wishing I was still in Portugal..
Hasta Luego Amigos!

February Favorites 2017
Hey guys! it’s February Favorites time. Today, I’m going to be sharing the things I really liked in the month of February with you guys. Weather wise, February was a really weird month. One moment it would be super cold like it is right now, then it would be in the 70s, and then it would rain outside. We had some winterish moments, but I would say that as far as I’m concerned winter didn’t exist this year. Did you have a full-on winter with like snow and all that stuff or was your “winter” like mine? Tell me in the comments below! Anyway, let’s just get into the faves.
Tumblr media
Favorite Food of the Month
1. Simple Truth Organic Blue Tortilla Chips
These chips are crispy and taste good. My mother actually turned me onto these chips since these are her favorite. They are organic, non-gmo, and they only have three ingredients in them. They are salty but have just the right amount of salt in them. I recommend checking these chips out.
2. Kroger Raspberry Sparkling Seltzer Water
I’m usually not a big fan of raspberry, but holy Christmas nuts this sparkling seltzer water is so good! You are able to taste just a hint of raspberry, which is enough for me. It’s not overwhelming and I love the fact that it doesn’t taste all artificial or anything like that. I definitely recommend this drink. You gotta try it!
3. Celestial Seasonings Honey Lemon Ginseng Green Tea
You guys know that I’m always down for a cup of green tea. It’s one of my favorite teas of all time. I absolutely love it. I came across this tea at the grocery store and wanted to try it out. First off, can we just talk about how good this tea smells? It smells sooooo good. In regards to the taste, I wish that the lemon flavor was a little stronger because I love lemon. The lemon flavor is a little too weak for my liking, so I add fresh lemon to it. Besides that, I really like the tea and definitely recommend it. It’s a great way to end your night.
Brownie’s Favorites
You guys know that I got a puppy back in like December, but I haven’t really talked about her here on the blog. B is 4 months right now. Yes, I got her when she was a little goober. Haha. I posted a picture of her on my Instagram Story (follow me at @CallMeValBarnes) like a couple days or so ago for #NationalLoveYourPetDay. She loves being around people! She’s pretty chill and calm, but she has her moments where she’s really playful and has a lot of energy. Overall, she’s a really good dog and she’s super smart. I thought that I would start incorporating some of her favorites in my favorites post when I notice that she’s really gravitating towards a specific product or brand in general.
Freshpet
Her favorite food is from Freshpet. Specifically their Freshpet Select Chicken with Vegetables & Brown Rice recipe (If you guys want me to do a post on why I’m letting my dog eat meat even though I’m a vegetarian, let me know in the comments below). My mom was the one who found out about this brand and suggested we get it for B, so kudos to you mom. Haha. B loves this stuff so much like no joke. She literally jumps up and down when she sees me preparing her food. She always gets compliments on her coat feeling super soft and smooth. I personally like the brand Freshpet because their products are made in the USA and are made with fresh, wholesome ingredients.
Favorite Fitness Stuff of the Month
4. Fitbit Charge HR
I talked about I recently got a Fitbit in my “5 Ways To Stick To Your Healthy Habits” blog post. I have a Fitbit Charge HR. I really like the little display screen on the tracker especially since my other fitness tracker doesn’t have one. I can check to see what time it is, how many steps I’ve done, how many calories I’ve burned, check my heart rate, etc. One feature I think is really cool is that my wrist will buzz when someone is calling me and the display screen will tell me who is calling me. Neat right?! I use the heck out of this feature. I will say that I’m not that big of a fan of the Fitbit app. It’s kind of on the basic side to me. The app doesn’t provide as much detailed information like the Jawbone app does, which is something I miss. Besides that, I like my Fitbit.
5. Tervis Simply Southern Water Bottle (similar)
I got this as a gift for Valentine’s Day, which was perfect because I’ve been in need of a water bottle I can bring with me to yoga class. I usually bring a plastic one and I usually finish it within 2 seconds. True story. Haha. I absolutely love this water bottle. It’s really heavy duty and I like how big it is. It’s a 24 oz bottle and I bring it with me wherever I go. I don’t have to worry about getting dehydrated with this bad boy.
6. Contigo Jackson Water Bottle
My next favorite is....another water bottle. I don’t know if you guys know this, but I have a water bottle obsession. I own a lot of water bottles. Haha. Yeah, it’s kind of bad but it’s better than having a soda obsession right? Right. I recently got this water bottle while grocery shopping. I’ve always wanted to get a Contigo water bottle plus it was on sale for a really good price, so you guys know that I couldn’t resist it. I had to get it. I’m not going to lie, I thought that the water bottle was lying to me when it said it had a carrying loop because I didn’t see it initially. Turns out that the carrying loop is on top of the water bottle. Once I found it, I thought that it’s located in a convenient place on the bottle. I also like the flip lid. You just push the button on the bottle and the lid flips open. I've hurt my fingers a couple of times from my fingers being too close to the lid when I flip it, but besides that I like it.
Favorite TV Show of the Month
7. Chrisley Knows Best on USA Network
My latest weekend obsession has been watching marathons of Chrisley Knows Best this month. I’ve heard of this show before, but this was my first time sitting down and watching it. This show is so freaking hilarious to the point where I laughed till I cried. I kid you not. Chase and Todd are #teamtoomuch for me and I love it. The new season just started n February 21st and you guys know that your girl is watching it. If you haven’t seen Chrisley Knows Best, go watch it.
8. Riverdale on CW
This is a new show on CW that just started this month. When I was younger and would wait with my mom in the grocery store checkout line, I would always pick up and read magazines on the rack. One of the magazines I would read would be Archie comics. I enjoyed reading them, so my ears perked at the sound of the comics being turned into a TV show. However, the show has a dark twist to it. It’s definitely not as upbeat as the comics were, but I like the show. One of my favorite people is in it, Cole Sprouse. I love him and his brother. They are so funny and seem like nice people. Anyway, Riverdale is about Archie and his friends and the darkness and weirdness that’s beneath Riverdale’s upbeat, wholesome facade. The darkness of it reminds me a little of Ravenswood and PLL. I hope it’s not as draggy as PLL because I will be so done with this show. I’m not even joking...
Favorite Music of the Month
9. Cold by Maroon 5 (My obsession with Maroon 5 and Adam Levine is real haha)
I hope that you guys enjoyed my February Favorites 2017 blog post. What are some of your February favorites? Be sure to tell me in the comments below! I hope that you all are having an amazing day & I’ll see you all in my next post. Bye :)

The good thing about Saturday races is Sunday rest day feels sooooo good.
