Let’s talk about one of the most underrated dynamics in Yellowjackets: Nat and Tai
Tumblr media
Nat and Tai have such a troubled little sister/protective big sister dynamic that is not talked about enough.
Before the crash, there is clearly a lot of tension in Nat and Tai’s relationship. Their personalities clash a bit, as Tai is driven and ambitious while Nat is more reckless and directionless. Tai doesn’t understand Nat’s drug use and promiscuity and openly criticizes her for it. Tai is focused on the success of the team and she sees Nat and her behavior as an obstacle to this success.
Tumblr media
However, I think there is some care behind her harsh statements. We can see her tough love approach towards Nat starting to develop. She wants Nat to get better, she just has a gruff way of showing it.
We see Tai begin to develop more of a softness for Nat after the crash. I think, as Tai begins to experience what it feels what it’s like to be in survival mode (and starts to lose control of herself) as Nat has been for most of her life, she begins to understand Nat and her coping mechanisms more.
Another important part of their dynamic is that they were the last two skeptics remaining in the Wilderness. When Natalie would challenge Lottie, Tai was often the first (and only) person to back her up. They are both grounded in pragmatism and logic.
Tumblr media
Nat and Tai also have the shared experience of watching their partners “go the the dark side” (AKA join Lottie’s cult). Van and Travis are arguably some of Lottie’s most devoted followers towards the end of Season 2, and both Tai and Nat struggle to grapple with this and the rift it creates in their respective romantic relationships.
Tumblr media
After they are rescued, Taissa manages to pick herself back up while Nat falls apart, and their little sister/big sister dynamic grows even more as a result. Tai pays for Nat’s rehab, tries to keep her away from Travis because she knows he’s bad for her, keeps pulling her back up and trying to keep her on her feet. I think it says a lot that Tai is the first person Nat thinks to call when she’s arrested.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then, of course, there’s the scene where Tai defends her decision to pay for Nat’s rehab and continue to try to keep her clean. This scene breaks my heart and shows the caretaker role Taissa has taken on for Nat after the crash. She understands why Nat copes the way she does, and she knows that, unlike Shauna and herself, Nat doesn’t have a support system to rely on.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even when Nat is being crowned as the new AQ I feel like you can see the concern on Tai’s face. Tai pledges her support of Nat’s new leadership, but you can tell she is also wary of the burden being placed on Nat, and how that might affect her.
Tumblr media
Tai’s face is somber like she’s worried about her, but she gives Nat’s hand a small little squeeze of reassurance.
Anyways, I just love how Nat and Tai’s relationship transforms and grows over time. Tai has an empathy and care for Nat that the other survivors just don’t seem to have. I can’t wait to see more of their dynamic post-rescue as Tai struggles to keep Nat afloat and pick up the pieces after her toxic stints with Travis.
This has been way longer than I intended it to be, I’ll just leave y’all with this last clip of Nat giving petulant little sister vibes with Tai that I absolutely love…

HANGMAN’S A WHAT NOW!? | j.seresin
Tumblr media
pairing: jake "hangman" seresin x wife!reader
summary: after the uranium mission, the dagger squad is assigned more permanently to the San Diego base, so Jake and his wife make plans to move their little family out to SoCal. The rest of the dagger squad is quite surprised to find out that Hangman even has a wife, when she joins them for a beach day, with some little surprises in tow.
warnings: pure, tooth-rotting fluff, Jake being a girl dad
a/n: this is just a little piece I came up with a 4 a.m. last night. reblogs are greatly appreciated. feel free to send in requests for any of the characters on my page, my requests are open!

“Mama, are we almost there yet?”
You smiled softly at your daughter, cuddling as close to her sister as the seatbelt in the back of the car will allow her.
“Almost, Liv,” you say gently.
“Okay then, Mama,” your daughter sighs, her head falling onto her sister's, where she is snoozing on Olive’s shoulder.
You smile at your twin girls, who had been so good for you while you drove from your old home in rural Texas, to join their father in San Diego, where he has been more permanently stationed after the success of the last mission he had been called back to Top Gun for. The girls adored their father and it has been a hard couple of months without him, for all three of you. You know it has been hard on Jake too. He acted happy for the girls on their frequent FaceTime sessions, but you’ve known Jake too long to not catch the sadness in his eyes as he read them a bedtime story and watched them fall asleep without being able to tuck them into their blankets, smooth their hair back from their faces and kiss them goodnight.
Which is why you had packed up the girls, and all your essentials three days before schedule, so you could finally reunite with your beloved husband. You have been in contact with the only one of your husband's fellow pilots you’ve met, his friend Javy (or Coyote to his team), who let you know that the whole squad was having a beach day today, which is where you are headed now.
You look around at the houses on either side of the street as you follow the GPS to the location Coyote sent you, somewhere called The Hard Deck. He had texted you that you could park your van in the lot, and then go through the bar (which isn’t open this early in the afternoon, he assured you) to get to the beach on the other side.
Passing under a row of palm trees, you pull into the parking lot of the small beachside bar you have heard so much about from your husband and turn into the open spot in between Jake’s truck and a shiny Bronco.
Putting your keys in your bag, you open your door and climb out, brushing your long skirt out as you make your way around the front of the car to open the door your girls are sleeping next too.
Opening it gently, you brush you fingers through Charlotte’s dark blonde hair, so similar to her daddy’s.
“Lottie, baby, it’s time to wake up, we’re here,” you whisper to her. She stirs a little, blinking bleary green eyes up at you as a tiny hand comes up to rub her face. The arm movement jostles Olive, who picks her head up and yawns.
“Come on, my loves, can you undo your seatbelts and stand next to Mama, so I can make sure you look so pretty to see Daddy again?”
With that question, the identical faces of the best gifts Jake has ever given you light up, as if remembering where they are and why they had been driving in the car for two days.
Within seconds, your twins are standing side by side, bobbing up and down on their toes in excitement as you check that their adorable little matching outfits have not been wrinkled too much by the car ride. Once you re-tie Charlotte’s hair bow, which had come undone in the car, you take each of your daughters hands in each of yours and lead them into the empty bar.
Passing through the doors that lead onto the sand, your girls gape at the sight of the ocean sparkling in the late afternoon sun.
“Mama,” Olive says, mouth hanging open, “it’s so big.”
“Yeah, baby, it goes on for miles and miles.”
“Mama, mama, mama, look!” Charlotte bounces in place next to you and squeezes the hand she’s holding onto. “I can see Daddy!”
You turn to look where she’s pointing and sure enough, a tiny ways down the beach, you spot your husband, throwing around a ball with another man in board shorts. The man throws his head back and laughs at something Jake says.
“Mama, can we go! Can we do the surprise now, please?” Olive asks, so sweetly that your heart melts a little bit as you nod at your daughter.
“Go knock him over with the biggest hug ever, girls!” You say as you start walking again, releasing their hands so that they can run ahead.
✯✯✯✯
“Nice try, Bradshaw,” Jake yells to his friend as Rooster throws a particularly hard ball, causing Jake to have to side step to catch it.
“One day man,” Rooster grins, “one day, I’ll get you.”
Jake is just about to come up with a witty retort when he hears something he thought he wasn’t going to hear for another couple of days.
“Daddy!”
“Daddy!”
Two little voices he knows better than anything. Jake whips around in disbelief, forgetting Rooster and the game of catch in an instant as he spots his little girls running towards him, dressed adorably in little matching outfits.
Jake takes a few steps towards his girls and then drops into the sand just in time for them to come crashing into him, arms going round his neck and bodies thumping into him with such force, he goes sprawling back in the sand with his babies on top of him. He holds them there for a few moments, relishing in the feeling of them in his arms again, their puffs of laughter tickling his neck.
After a few moments, he sits up effortlessly, still holding onto the two five year olds and sets them onto their feet. Pulling out of the hug just far enough to look at their faces, Jake’s right hand comes up to stroke Olive’s hair out of her eyes while his left stays firmly around Charlotte’s waist.
“What are you doing here, you two?”
“We come early, Daddy!” Olive says, her little hand coming up to touch Jake’s cheek.
“Mama said we should surprise you!” Charlotte says, her voice muffled from where she’s pressed her face into her father’s neck.
“Did she now?” Jake asks playfully, looking up just as a pair of legs he knows very well stop in front of him. He lets his eyes trail upwards until they meet yours and he swears, he doesn’t think there will ever be a time where he isn’t affected by that beautiful smile.
“Hi Darlin,” he grins, letting go of his babies for only a moment to get to his feet before putting his hands on their heads as they wrap themselves around a leg each.
“Hey Handsome,” you smirk back, and Jake can’t help but close the tiny distance between you to press a kiss to your lips.
He feels so content in this moment, all three of his girls are finally with him after too long (in his opinion) apart, that it’s a bit jarring when Rooster’s voice breaks through his little bubble of happiness.
“I’m sorry, what the fu….rick is going on here?”
Jake laughs against your lips before pressing one last final kiss to them before pulling away and turning to see the rest of his team, save Coyote, gaping at him.
“What does it look like, Bradshaw,” Jake smirks, as Rooster rubs his ribs where Phoenix evidently elbowed him to keep him from cursing in front of the two little girls still hanging onto their father.
“It looks,” Phoenix jumps in, trying to sound mad, but failing because of the shit eating grin on her face, “like you’ve been keeping secrets, Bagman.”
You’re intoxicating laugh has Jake turing back to you, a betrayed look in his eyes, an over exaggerated pout on his lips.
“Baby?” He whines, purposefully making his bottom lip jut out and quiver slightly. You laugh again, leaning forward to kiss away his frown.
“Oh hush…..now, is your Daddy going to introduce us to the squad, or are we gonna have to report back to Grandma Seresin about his manners,” you say cheekily, leaning down to address the last part of your question to the twins. They both giggle and pull on Jake’s hands, while he stares down at his little family.
“Alright, no need to involve my mama,” he says, grinning, “who wants a ride over?”
Both of his daughters look up at him with matching grins, before Olive reaches up and starts shouting, “Sandwich, sandwich!”
“Oh alright!” Jake sighs dramatically, before taking her hands in both of his and swinging her up onto his back. Once he’s sure her little legs are locked around his waist tight enough that she won’t fall, he reaches down for Charlotte, and lifts her up to carry her on his chest.
With his daughters hanging off him like Koalas, and your hand in one of his, he leads you over to the little congregation of towels the gang had set up earlier that day.
Bob, Phoenix, Rooster, and Fanboy all rise to their feet from where they had been lounging, as Jake approaches with his family. Only Coyote remains on his towel, a fact which makes Jake smirk.
“Everyone, these are my girls,” Jake says, angling his body so that Olive is slightly visible, and Charlotte can see from where her head is back in his neck.
There’s a chorus of heys from the group and Jake feels one of Olive’s hands leave his neck, reaching up to wave at the pilots.
“This is my wife, Y/N Seresin, and these two beauties…..Can you say hi, and introduce yourself, sugar?” Jake asks Olive, bouncing a little so that she holds onto his neck again. She giggles lightly and Jake feels her nod against his shoulder.
“I’m Liv,” she says, “it’s very nice to meet you!”
She mispronounces her v’s slightly, but her greeting is so endearing that Jake witnesses all the pilots melt in front of him.
“And what about you, baby?” Jake asks Charlotte, angling his head so that he can see her face. She shakes her head slightly, her eyes so wide and innocent in her face.
“Are you sure, darlin?” Jake asks. His shy daughter just shakes her head, and turns her face, so that her face is hidden completely in her father’s neck.
“Okay….,” Jake murmurs to her, running his hand up and down her back in circles and turns to his group of pilots.
“This little one is Lottie,” he says.
“Coyote,” you say, taking the focus of the group off of your shy daughter as you call your friend, “are you gonna stay over there, or are you actually going to get up and and come say hello?”
“Ya know, I think I’m good where I am,” Coyote laughs from his seat, grinning.
“Uncle Javy!?” Olive asks, wriggling around in excitement.
“Yeah Livie!” Coyote grins, finally getting up from the ground and making his way over.
“Daddy, down please!” Olive chirps and Jake obligingly bends until his daughter can hop off his back.
The minute Olive is on the ground, she takes off running towards Coyote, and he leans down as she gets to him, and lifts her up, swinging her around in the air as her laughter explodes from her. After she's been swung around a few times, Coyote p uts her back in the sand and pulls you into a side hug.
✯✯✯✯
As the family reunites with each other, and some of the pilots go and begin chatting with Jake and his wife, Phoenix sidles up to Rooster and elbows him again.
"You good, Roos?"
The pilot turns his head to look at her, and she bursts out laughing.
"Oh come on, Bradley, is it really that shocking that Jake has a life outside of the navy?"
"Kind of!"
Phoenix goes to elbow her friend again, but he's ready this time, dodging out of the way as she goes for his ribs, the two pilots laughing as they join the rest of the group getting to know their newest members.

i love ur headcanons!! would u be able to do how lottienat would be in bed with a shy partner :)
Tumblr media
Ofc 💕 Shy partner sleeping with LottieNat
LottieNat x Shy Reader
SFW:
You were definitely nervous about physical contact around nat and lots when you were first dating them, you had never been intimate with someone before so it took you a little bit of time to get out of your shell
the first time you had shared the bed with both girls was at a sleepover at lottie's house, it had been a long night and you were ready to crash. Lottie and nat were huddled up together and you stood at the end of her bed arms crossed looking down wondering how to approach the situation
nat pulls your hand and you walk toward her side, she caresses your cheek and softly pulls the covers off so you can slip in next to her, at first you're stiff but slowly calm down, "It's just me," looks over at lottie "just us" she presses a kiss on your forehead and lottie reaches over and attacks you with kisses and love making you laugh.
you hide your face in lottie's neck when nat compliments you and calls you her baby right after getting ready for bed (or the other way around). You’re so pookie
running hands through your hair and being a little spoon when you're anxious
sleeping with them becomes a coping mechanism fr, place free of judgement
with time you would squeeze yourself between them or anywhere on the bed without feeling odd about it. They were so happy too that you were comfortable enough to do that around them.
nat hogs the blankets so you need to get one for yourself or end up on top of lottie and she holds you close so you're warm. Nat gets jealous though and pulls you into her arms if she wakes up in the middle of the night girl is so needy 😙
Lottie is always SO WARM, personal heater for real it's terrible in the summer "lottie please let go it's too hot" you shove her off and lean into nats space, 5 mins later and lottie has latched you to her side again, but both girls want to be close to you.
NSFW:
nat usually initiates anything sexual especially when you all are high. Inhibitions are low so you relax way easier, you are also bolder and not scared to initiate anything, straddling lottie grinding down on her while grabbing nat by her collar and kissing her.
waking up with nat between your thighs and lottie sloppily pecking your neck, running her hands across your chest and down your waist.
you wake up with loads of hickeys and have to smother yourself in foundation that eventually rubs off when you go to practice. Tai and van always make fun of you for it lmao
Post Crash:
they both become protective since you're in a new space and it's not that comfortable
will make the best makeshift bed you can possibly imagine in the cabin.
will become a cuddle pile whenever you're snowed in and there's nothing to do the other girls get kind of annoyed that you're all relaxing but let's bffr 🙄there's nothing else to do, the other girly pops are just jealous they should cuddle each other.
I think you both start to care more for nat after she gets hunted and is stressed out about being queen, holding her when she wakes up crying from nightmares and rocking her back and forth until she's fast asleep again
sleep is one of the the best parts of your day honestly, it's perfect alone time and beyond comforting in such a scary place.

valentine's day with the yjs ୧ 💌 ୨
Tumblr media
cw: pretty much just fluff !!! may have swear words included tho ??
a/n: made this for me and everyone else who's single on valentine's day too :l hope this make you all feel a lil better and ily mwah mwah, happy ( early ) valentine's day babes <3
NATALIE SCATORCCIO
Tumblr media
- pretends she hates valentines day and everything that has to do it but deep down she adores it
- will stand awkwardly looking at the different kind of chocolates and sweets and being like "uhmmmm.....reeses are never a bad option i guess?" ALSO I FEEL LIKE she'd ask other people buying stuff for their partners what they're gonna get them cuz she's so confused 😭
- we all know she's a sucker for kisses, cuddles, holding hands, AAAANYTHING that has to do with physical touch but hates showing it so i think she'd use valentine's day as an excuse to be publicly affectionate a bit
- ok that's all i might add more later on
JACKIE TAYLOR
Tumblr media
- she's OBSESSED with holidays and celebrations, whether it's valentine's day, christmas, anything
- waking you up at like 7am and being like "hi hi valentine hey you're my valentine it's time to wake up my valentine" while shaking you and smooching you all over
- she's never letting go of you on vday. always clinging by your side, holding your other hand while you're brushing your teeth, talking to you from outside of the door while you're on the toilet, hugging you by the waist when you're cooking
- wearing ridiculous matching outfits with her in PUBLIC. i feel like she'd have those shirts that say "their queen" AND YOU "her king/queen/monarch(☠️)" OR GETTING YOU THOSE SILLY LIL HEADBANDS THINGIES WITH THE JIGGLY HEARTS..
- knows exactly what to buy you and she's already gotten everything prepared😭 it's adorable cause she'll give you a gift of something you forgot you wanted and you're just sitting there standing like :O
SHAUNA SHIPMAN
Tumblr media
- ditches you for jackie. end.
- JK. i think she'd just treat it like a regular day honestly
- gets you a chocolate and calls it a day but not in a bad way??? LIKE she already loves you and does a lot of things to show it so she doesn't really think valentine's day is necessary
LOTTIE MATTHEWS
Tumblr media
- she's suuuuuuuuch a softie for showing you off and getting to shower you with gifts :(
- she wouldn't wanna go out too much, she'd probably have everything set out already. your gifts hiding in the closet, your sweets hidden in the fridge, everything prepared and on point
- i feel like since some of the yjs were mean to her and telling her to just stop talking and stuff, she'd be kinda closed off at the start and she'd be scared to show you how much she loves and adores you, but then when she sees that you accept and give her the same love back and even more she's SOOOO hyper
- writes you cheesy letters that you keep in your drawer forever and probably even little drawings of your favourite things or you and her 😭
VAN PALMER
Tumblr media
- THE SILLY!!!!!MAI SILLY!!!DE SILLY!!!:DD
- arcade dates w them on valentine's day or going like on an amusement park☝️☝️
- they'd go print out some silly t-shirts for y'all... like "i love my van" with a picture of a van LMAOO and they'd make you wear it all the time
- if you want to do smth on that day, you BET you will. they'll never let you down i SWEAR they're the sweetest pookiest babiest to ever exist :(((((((((
TAISSA TURNER
Tumblr media
- hates valentine's day more than anything... "what the fuck im NOT wearing that" when you ask her to match outfits with you but does it anyway
- she's miserable doing anything on valentine's day cause she thinks it's cringe but warms up to it when she sees how happy it makes you
- she's the girl that said "happy wife happy life" btw so she'll do anything u ask her to no matter how much she despises it which is.. a lot probably
- gets you a chocolate and takes 2 hours to decide if she should write you a corny letter with it and she scribbles down some ideas but then just puts :)
LAURA LEE
Tumblr media
- as a christian we shouldn't be celebrating vday but im not really that religious so????
- but laura lee is so anyways she would be all like "im not going to sin, i don't want to disappoint my lord" 😭😭😭
- she'd still go on a date w you, well more like flower picking and stuff and she'd probably pull out the the bible and start reading to you but you love her too much to say no so you just listen
- ok yeah that's it end of post mwah mwah

SHE’S MY BABY — Spider-Man!Lottie Matthews
and i hope you don’t save some other girl…
warnings— fem reader (she/her used), typical spider-man shenanigans, gun mentions, ooc lottie probably
[part 1]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
lottie: when did you want to get coffee
lottie: 11:15 at little collins?
you: isn’t that in the city?
lottie: yeah but i can venmo you for the ferry fee
you: no it’s fine i can take the bridge
lottie: ok see you tmrw
you: here
you: sitting in a booth towards the back
Lottie’s late.
You’re anxiously checking your phone screen over and over, trying to make sure you haven’t missed any rain-check texts.
11:28. Nothing.
You fidget in your seat, bouncing your leg, looking at the door with hopeful eyes whenever the bell chimes.
At exactly 11:30, the door swings open, a frantic Lottie rushing in from the other side.
“I’m sorry!” she immediately says, collapsing into the booth. “This guy stole an old lady’s purse, and then—“
“Lottie,” you interrupt, “calm down. I’m not mad, I just thought you forgot.”
“No,” she promises, still a bit out of breath. “No, I actually swung over here.”
“What, like, with your webs?”
“Would you lower your voice?” she hisses.
“It’s New York, Lot,” you deadpan. “I literally saw a man taking a shit on the sidewalk.” You lock eyes with a man at the counter, leaning back to stretch his arms. You jerk your thumb at Lottie as you say, “She’s Spider-Man.”
“Shut the fuck up,” he says before turning back to his phone.
You sip from your drink. “So how exactly did this happen? Is this your weird attempt at a fursona?”
“It’s not a fursona,” she mumbles defensively. “I got bit by a spider. I guess it was, like, radioactive or something.”
“Radioactive?” you repeat. “Like the dogs in Chernobyl?”
“Yeah,” she replies, “except I didn’t grow any extra teeth like those fish. I fell onto this lady on the subway the night after and my hand got stuck to her shirt, and I… ripped it off…” She flushes pink.
“How the fuck did that happen?”
“I’m, like… sticky,” she informs you, embarrassed as she flexes her hands. You wrinkle your nose at sticky. “And I get these weird tingles right before something happens.”
“Does the web come out of you?” you question, genuinely intrigued.
“Yeah,” she shrugs. “I don’t have extra legs, though, before you ask.”
“How’d you get out last night?”
“I put the suit back on in the shower, then went back out the window. I went down the balcony into your bedroom. Natalie came in, though, so I hid on… the ceiling…” As the words leave her mouth, she clearly realizes how weird it sounds.
“I’m impressed, Lot,” you admit. “It’s been a year, and I never would’ve guessed it was you. I thought you had some secret lover and that’s why you were sneaking around.”
It’s her turn to wrinkle her nose. “God, no. I felt really bad about always leaving you, though.”
You shrug. “It’s definitely not as bad as when Tai and Van coincidentally sneak off to go have sex. They’re not even subtle about it.”
Lottie laughs, but she shifts uncomfortably, like someone just licked their finger and stuck it in her ear.
You frown. “You okay?”
She looks up, but it’s almost like she’s looking through you. Her eyes track movement in the window at your back.
She grabs her backpack. “I have to go.”
You turn around, but there’s nothing there. You whip back around to face her. “What the hell, Lottie?”
“I’m sorry!” she insists. “I’ll—I’ll call you, okay?”
She doesn’t give you time to respond before she’s sprinting out the door of the café, chasing down whatever she’d seen behind you.
You’re upset, to say the least.
You walk back to the ferry parking garage where you’d parked, grinding your teeth. If it were a cartoon, you might have steam coming out of your ears.
You have to take three laps around the garage before you finally find your car.
But as you approach your car, you can see a figure yanking at your driver’s side door.
“Hey!” you shout. “What the fuck?”
“This your car?” he asks.
“I’m not shouting at you for fun,” you snap.
“Give me your keys,” he commands.
“No, I’m not gonna give you my keys!”
He shoves his hand into the pocket of his jacket and points it at you. “Give me the fucking keys!”
“I can see your thumb sticking out, I know you don’t have a gun! It’s a piece of shit anyway, just back off—“
He starts forward, but he only gets a few steps in before something shoots past you—you literally blink and miss it, and when you look back at the man attempting to carjack you his hand is stuck to the wall with a fucking web.
Fucking Lottie.
“I thought she told you to back off, man,” Lottie sighs.
“Why do you sound like that?” the man asks, which is the same thing you’re wondering.
You know it’s Lottie, of course. But she’s using some weird, Ghostface-esque voice modulator.
“Sound like what?” she bluffs.
“No, I heard you earlier,” the man insists, “when you were chasing me. I know what a girl sounds like.”
“I’m not a girl!” Lottie shouts. “I’m a boy! Fuck—a man!”
If you hadn’t just been a victim of an attempted carjacking (and possibly murder), you would’ve bust out laughing. Lottie’s voice sounded very Mickey Altieri—it’s time, girlfriend!
“Man, I really don’t care,” the man shrugs, defeated.
Lottie mumbles, “Interrogation mode, off,” before turning back to you. “Go home, okay?”
You nod, surprisingly relieved by Lottie saving the day. You get into your car and turn the key.
“That’s gonna dissolve in 2 hours, okay?” Lottie tells the man, who’s still stuck to the wall.
“What?” he exclaims. “No, I need to get home!”
She jogs off. “2 hours! You deserve that!”
You can’t help but laugh as you start your drive home.
KITTY MEOWS! I pray this was as good as y’all wanted it to be… the second half is very heavily based on the scene of Donald Glover in Homecoming I thought it would be silly for Lottie 😞

can you write hcs for how shauna, jackie, natalie and lottie would act in a relationship with reader when:
being jealous:
simping:
being angry:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
how would gf shauna, jackie, nat and lottie react when jealous, simping, and angry.
Tumblr media
𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗨𝗡𝗔 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗠𝗔𝗡
when shauna gets jealous, she gets instantly defensive, acting without thinking first. she’ll prolly stand in the way of whoever's flirting with you and tell them to get the fuck away, as if everyone in the world knew you that the two of you were dating. she's fr not afraid of making a scene, since she's used to making it everyone’s problem whenever she's angry.
i can also see her frequently getting jealous of other people you talk to just because she’s insecure. she’ll probably get upset and question you a lot, so u’d have to give her lots of reassurance to make her feel better.
when simping, she stares at you a lot—whether it is with longing eyes or with in-love eyes, you’ll frequently notice her big brown eyes gazing deeply at you. she writes you tons of love notes and writes about you on her journal—she also has an entire journal dedicated to you, where she makes collages with pictures of you and other things she likes that remind her of you. she has lots of pictures of the two of you on her wall. she also cooks for you a lot.
shauna has a complex way of dealing with her emotions, so i guess it really depends on what she's angry about. usually tho, she tends to bottle up her feelings, getting angrier and angrier until she bursts—and when she bursts, she bursts. the moment shauna reaches her limit, she'll raise her voice at you and say anything she thinks will hurt you, the more it hurts you the better. It isn't until one of you leaves the room that she instantly cools down and regrets it. she'll then proceed to look like this emoji “🥺” and overthink the whole interaction until she finally gets the courage to apologize to u.
𝗝𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗜𝗘 𝗧𝗔𝗬𝗟𝗢𝗥
when jackie gets jealous, she doesn't say it directly, but she does everything she can to get your attention—mostly in negative ways tbh. she would never cheat on you, but i can see her using other people to make you feel jealous or insecure so that you go chase after her. for example, if someone's clearly flirting with her, she won't back away or anything, she'll slightly lead them on until you notice that someone else is giving her attention and u go do something about it.
when simping, she's all giggly and flirty. she twirls her hair and bites her lip with a smile while looking at you. she also does little things to annoy you but in a playful/flirty way, like grabbing the tv remote, changing the movie and being like “omg, were you watching that? hehe 😳🤭”
when angry, she goes away dramatically but expects you to go after her. for example, if she's angry because you fucked up in some type of way, she'd avoid you but expect you to go chase her—and the moment u apologize, she'd immediately forgive you and be like 🥺😔 i missed u 😊
if she doesn’t do that, then she'll straight up tell you everything she feels, but won't insult you at all. even if she's mad at something you did, she’ll look more indignated and disappointed rather than resentful or angry. after dropping the weight off her shoulders, if you don't say sorry right away, she'll then avoid you until you genuinely apologize to her and cuddle her or sum.
𝗡𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗢
when nat gets jealous, she gets visibly angry and possessive. if someone's flirting with you, she'll wrap her arm around your shoulders and say something like "they're taken, you can leave now." if the person doesn’t listen tho, she’ll tell them to fuck off and won’t leave your side for the entire day.
when simping, she's very cute but subtle. she isn’t the best at showering you with gifts and affection, but she'll do little gestures to make you happy, like taking you out to eat, making you playlists, driving you around the city at night, or sitting at the top of her van to smoke together. you'll also notice that she wants to be with you all the time, even if you're just sitting around doing nothing.
when she’s angry, she'll get visibly angry but try to contain herself so that she doesn't hurt you. an angry 'fuck you' might come out of her mouth, but that's the worst she'll say before she walks away to cool down. she'll always apologize for whatever she said to you during the argument after y'all talk about it tho, even if it wasn't that bad.
𝗟𝗢𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗪𝗦
when lottie gets jealous, she gets annoyed and protective. if someone's flirting with you, she'll stand in the way and softly push you back with one of her arms in a protective manner while she tells the person to go away. she wouldn’t be straight up mean or impulsively aggressive though, she'd just be serious & confident abt it. if the person doesn't listen though, she’ll get annoyed and say something like, “i said they’re with me, are you deaf?”
when simping, lottie is the biggest spoiler ever. she'll put you on the highest pedestal and do everything for you. she'll always bring you up as a topic of conversation when talking to anyone else. whatever you want or like she’ll get it for you, no matter how hard it is. she'll also give you lots of physical affection, specially cuddles and soft caresses—like massaging your scalp or running her hand through your back while you lay down on her chest.
lottie has good control over her emotions, so usually when she gets angry, she avoids you until her anger cools down and she's ready to talk—the reason being that she doesn't wanna burst out and hurt you. she'll then either talk to you or wait for you to reach out to her.

I know the cast really wanted to drive home that we would hate the adults by the end of the season but… I don’t. How could you?
Lottie is so broken, unable to trust her own mind. How could you hate her for that?
Van was so desperate for a cure, one last miracle survival. How could you hate her for that?
Tai was so scared of her other side, still so connected to Van. How could you hate her for that?
Shauna with the most traumatising job of all in the wilderness. It’s a miracle she isn’t more broken. How could you hate her for that?
Misty just lost her second best friend at her own hands in the most tragic of ways. She just wants to help but it just doesn’t ever seem to work out the way she wants. How could you hate her for that?
And Nat. Nat who has punished herself every single day. Finally righting a wrong that has haunted her for 25 years. Since she was a child. How could you hate her for that?
I can’t hate these women. They are all victims. They are all broken by the events 25 years before. It’s not hatred I feel, it’s sadness and compassion. I just want to hug them all and tell them it will be okay. Rest.

Everything Has Changed
Summary: "You’ve never really been close to Nat, but the two of you strike up a surprising friendship after sitting next to each other on the game bus one day. The more you hang out the more you realize that you want more from her, but does she want the same?"
You're practically wheezing by the time you reach the bus. You don’t know why Jackie insists on the team leaving five minutes after the last bell, but in the back of your mind you wish she stubs her toe for it. Fucking calculus always had to be clear on the other side of campus, and 3 flights of stairs away. You think Jackie should count herself lucky you decided to walk all the way over in the first place.
You slow down to a stop next to Lottie, breathing heavily. She turns her head to look at you, a pleased expression on her face. “We can’t lose now! Y/N’s brought their best Michael Myers impression!” Van jokes, shooting you a quick grin. You go still and hold your hand up as if you were holding a particularly large knife. Van laughs so hard that you almost miss it. You can faintly hear muffled laughter and you glance around to find it. You’re strangely pleased when you realize it was Natalie. You grin at her but she quickly hides her own beneath her patented cool girl look.
Your jaws clenched tight when Jackie shows up five minutes late to her own bus schedule with Shauna in tow. Deep breaths. You remind yourself. “You’re late, Jackie.” Natalie says wryly. “Did someone forget to tell you what time we’re leaving?” You decide to skip the inevitable confrontation and quickly step on the bus after Lottie, intending on taking your usual seat next to her
You can faintly hear Jackie scoff and make, what you assume to be, a disparaging comment towards Natalie. You aren’t particularly concerned about it. You’ve had a long day and you can’t wait to sit do-. Your eyes narrow when you realize that Laura Lee is sitting in your seat. You speed up intending to take your seat back when Lottie shoots you a pleading glance, eyes moving between the two of you. You give your best friend a hard look but she pouts up at you from her seat. You sigh and turn around to look for another seat.
Of course, the only seat left is next to a fuming Natalie. Even Misty had snagged a seat next to Coach Ben at the front. You slip into the seat next to her and she looks over you and gives you an assessing look before deciding not to bother with you. She stares out the window with her jaw clenched hard.
You zone out for a while as the bus pulls out of the parking lot thinking about your upcoming game. After a while you notice that the sun keeps reflecting off your watch to the other side of the bus. You watch the beam for a second and start to smirk as you come to an important realization.
You slump down a little further in your seat, trying to get the angle just right. Shift a little left, a little more… There! You Think. You nudge Natalie in the side gently and she turns her head to look at you, her expression stiff. You make quick eye contact with her and glance down at your watch. She follows and looks at you a little confused.
You nudge your head over towards Jackie. She looks over just as Jackie groans in annoyance, holding her hand over her eye. It seems that someone was reflecting sunlight in her eyes. She shifts positions thinking it’s from the window, but you just change the angle of your watch. Natalie shakes with silent laughter next to you and turns her face towards the window to stifle her cheeky grin.
You don’t speak for the rest of the drive, but when you catch her eye later she nods at you in greeting. You’re pretty content with it, to be honest. It’s the most contact you think the two of you have ever shared. You put it out of your mind and don’t think about it for a long time. It didn’t seem all that important at the time.
“There’s no way,” You argue.
“No! I’m telling you it’s true!” Lottie says excitedly. The two of you walk out of the building with your arms linked at the elbow.
“Mari’s boyfriend seriously left her for her cousin?” You ask incredulously.
“No,” Lottie draws out dramatically. “He left her for his cousin!” You can’t even stifle your surprised gasp.
“His own cousin?” You ask laughing hard against her shoulder. Lottie’s grin is so wide that it splits her face. She starts to reply when she looks around and stops curiously.
“Why is Nat waiting for you by your car?” She asks. You lift your head and look confused.
“I mean surely she’s just waiting near my ca-” You start. Huh. You think. She’s leaning against your car, unmistakably waiting for you. “I don’t know. I should probably go find out though.” You say.
Lottie hums in agreement and gently runs her hand down your arm as she lets go of you. She pulls you into a tight hug for a long moment before letting go. “My parents are still out of town,” She says darkly. “Call me later?” You nod quickly and squeeze her hand before the two of you separate to your cars. Or, rather, she goes to her driver's car. Rich people.
“Hey,” Natalie says cautiously as you walk up to her.
You flash her a quick smile. “Hey.”
The look on her face is unreadable as she carefully says, “Do you wanna like… Hang out, maybe?” The surprise must be clear on your face because she scoffs and immediately pushes away from your car as if it burnt her. “Whatev-” She starts.
“Sure.” You interrupt, unlocking the doors to your car. “I’d really like that, Natalie.” She reaches for the handle and plops down in the passenger seat next to you.
“It’s Nat. None of that Natalie bullshit,” Nat warns, waving her finger at you in a mocking threat.
“Nat.” You repeat softly. Louder you say, “It suits you.” She looks at you unsurely before shrugging.
“If you say so,” She says, leaning back in her seat.
You start the car and gesture towards the glove compartment. “CD’s are in there if you want to pick one.” She looks you up and down and snickers, but opens the glove compartment anyways. She riffles through it for a bit, looking bored until she finds it.
Her eyes light up as she pulls it out to look at it. “You like Nirvana?” She asks, grinning at you. “I do too.” You can’t help but laugh at her.
“No,” You say, as if astonished. “Nat Scatorrcio, liking Nirvana? There’s just no way. I don’t believe it.” She scoffs and turns to look out the window, but you can see that she’s blushing a bit out of the corner of your eye. You grin at her and hold your hand out for the CD.
“What if I don’t want to listen to it now?” She says as she moves the CD out of your reach. You shrug.
“Suppose we could talk about our feelings. Any special boys in your life, Nat?” You ask mockingly. She huffs a laugh as she hurries to put the CD in, effectively ending that particular line of questioning. You can’t hide the smug look of satisfaction on your face, but choose not to acknowledge it aloud. Judging by the way she crosses her arms moodily, you think she’s got the point anyways.
“So…” You say as you unlock the door, “Was there anything in particular you wanted to do?” Nat walks in with the strap of her bag on one shoulder and looks around your house slowly. She steps towards the wall of family photos and seems to fixate on it for a while before she can tear her eyes away.
She looks a little unsure, like she feels out of place. “Not really,” She admits dryly, “Didn’t really plan that far ahead.” You smile softly at her as you try to seem welcoming. She relaxes and seems to appreciate the gesture.
“A movie then?” You ask. She grins mockingly at you.
“How about,” She says slowly, like she’s deep in thought “We watch Halloween?” You scoff and push gently at her shoulder in reproach.
“Oh great,” You say, “She’s funny.” You start to reach for her arm to drag her off to the living room, but quickly stop the motion when you notice the wary way she watches your hand. “Hope you're committed to it, Nat. We’re definitely watching it now.” You say as you gesture towards the living room. She grins quickly as she smugly walks off.
…
You're laughing so hard it's turned into wheezing as you desperately try to stay upright. Van, who's laughing just as hard, grabs onto your forearm to steady herself. Tai stands there grinning smugly, happy to have made the both of you lose it so completely. You're not sure that you could explain the joke if prompted, but you swear it's one of the best you've ever heard. Van clearly agrees, but she thinks all of Tai's jokes are funny.
You're trying to catch your breath when you get the sudden feeling someone's looking at you. You glance curiously at Nat as you catch her watching you out of the corner of your eye. She's watching you with an unreadable expression and turns away the second you look back at her. You've noticed her looking at you like that the last few weeks since you've become friends. You're not sure what her deal is, but you figure she'll bring it up when she's ready.
You and Lottie are arguing in low tones by your car as Nat walks over. You snap out of the argument immediately when you see her. "Hey," You say.
"Hey," She returns. Lottie gives you a significant look as she glances towards Nat. You shake your head quickly and pull her into a quick hug before walking off with Nat.
You drive mostly in silence as Nat is clearly deep in thought. You're just about to turn off onto the side road when she turns to you and asks, "Do you wanna come over?" You stiffen in shock, unable to hide your surprise. You nod slowly and keep driving.
You've taken Nat home plenty of times since that bus ride, but she's never allowed you near her home. She always made you drop her off on the side road. You're interrupted from your musings as you pull into the grass near her trailer and turn the car off.
You're undeniably curious but quietly follow behind Nat as she leads you inside. You fight hard to keep your eyes level even though you're burning with morbid curiosity. You knew her dad was shot right outside. Everyone did, even if no one was brave enough to mention it to her face. You got the strangest sense that she was testing you though, so no matter how curious you were you didn't let it show on your face.
You couldn't help the way your lips quirked up as you surveyed the posters on her walls. It was so undeniably Nat. You flopped down on her bed dramatically, throwing your limbs out so she had nowhere to sit. She scoffed as she pushed your legs off the bed and nearly took you with them.
"Were you raised in a barn?" She asks with a grin. You hold your hand over your heart as if shocked and make an offended gasp.
"I'm telling my mom you said that." You say. Her eyes widen.
"Don't! Don't tell Mrs. L/N." She complains, looking a little panicked. You smile softly at her. She'd taken a real liking to your mom the few times she's met her, and your mom felt the same.
"I won't." You promise. "It would be fine. She probably wouldn't believe me. I think she likes you more than me, anyways." Nat shakes her head but looks strangely pleased nonetheless.
You shift a little awkwardly on her bed, trying to get comfortable with only half your body on it. She watches you quietly with that same strange look as earlier. "What is it?" You ask.
"Why don't you touch me?" She asks quickly, like she had to spit it out. You sit up and cross your legs so you can see her better. You tilt your head to the side in an expression of confusion. She shifts uncomfortably as your continued silence makes her anxious.
"You don't touch me, ever. You touch Van, you touch Lottie, but you don't touch me. You went full contortionist rather than put your legs in my lap just then, which I've seen you do with Lottie." She says, seemingly gathering steam the longer she talks uninterrupted.
"Am I not good enough for you to touch or something? Too afraid to get your hands dirty?" She accuses. You stare at her in utter shock.
"What," You say slowly. "Are you even talking about?" She seems to deflate right before your eyes as her righteous anger leaving her in the face of your disbelief.
"You don't touch me, ever. But you touch them." She says softly, right on the verge of a whisper.
"I didn't think you liked to be touched. So I didn't." You say simply.
"I don't." She says frustratedly. You give her an exasperated look. She sighs loudly and says slowly, "I want you to touch me. Just you. Okay?"
You lean forward and place a calming hand on her forearm. She inhales sharply at the contact, watching your hand closely. She nods, slow and unsure, seemingly surprised by her own reaction. You laugh quietly at her and she looks up quickly. "Were you going to tell me you were upset? Or was I just expected to know that, Nat?" You question.
She hums in acknowledgement. "Maybe I could work on… communicating better." She admits as if it pains her. You pat her arm gently in reward and flop back against her bed. You exaggeratedly throw your legs in her lap this time and she rolls her eyes. She tentatively sets a hand down on your lower leg and gently strokes her thumb back and forth. You close your eyes and listen peacefully as Nat starts talking.
…
You storm down to the living room, undeniably pissed. When you got your hands on whatever fucking loser has called your house three times in a row at 2 AM you were going to kill someone. "Y/N?" Nat asks as you pick up the phone.
You instantly let go of your anger at the sound of the obvious fear in her voice. "Hey, Nat." You say cautiously.
"Are you busy?" She asks unsurely. You laugh softly as you answer.
"I can 100% promise I don't have any plans." You answer, leaning against the wall as you twirl the phone cord between your fingers.
"I'm on a payphone. At a gas station." She says slowly. Your eyes widen as your body tenses. What the fuck is she doing at a gas station alone this late?
"Which gas station?" You ask. "I'll come get you." She sighs loudly, relief obvious.
"I was hoping you would." She admits. "It's why I called you." She gives you the address and you rush out to get her, still in your pajamas.
You unlock the front door and Nat walks in quietly behind you. You watch her closely, the concern evident on your face. You knew she wouldn't call you like this if it wasn't an emergency. She's been so despondent though that you haven't bothered to ask her. By the time you got there she was soaked from the rain and shaking from the cold.
She stands in the middle of the living room looking uncharacteristically like a lost child. You reach for her hand and gently tug her up the stairs behind you. She lets you pull her without a fight up into your bathroom.
You push her gently back and she takes the hint and lifts herself up to sit on the bathroom counter. You step back to look through the cabinet and hand Nat a makeup wipe. She grasps it as you set it in her hand but makes no move to use it.
You watch her for a moment, considering. You take it back and start to gently remove her ruined mascara yourself. She doesn't react to it one way or the other as she stays deep in thought.
You're in the process of blow drying her hair when she seems to be more responsive. She watches you with an unreadable expression as you turn the hair dryer off and start running a brush through her hair to straighten it out. "See?" You say comfortingly. "All better."
You step out of the bathroom to go get her something to change into. She really does need to get out of those wet clothes. She's watching you with an almost desperate expression when you walk back in, as if she's surprised you came back.
You step up to her and pull her into a tight hug. You trace your fingers gently over a faint bruise that's slowly appearing on her face. "Does it still hurt?" You ask softly as you look into her eyes. She's sitting unnaturally still as she watches you.
"No." She says quietly. You think it must still hurt, but you allow her to have this lie. You nod slowly and set the clothes on the counter top. You gesture towards them and walk back to your room.
She steps into the room after you a few minutes later and you barely manage to stifle your gasp. Nat stands unsurely in the middle of the room in a big t-shirt and shorts of yours, her face lacking her usual makeup.
This is a Nat you've never seen before. You think she looks so much smaller without her usual armor. You've always thought Nat was beautiful, but she looks almost ethereal right now. She starts to fidget anxiously when you snap yourself out of it and lift the corner of your blanket invitingly.
She slides in and lays on her back shifting uncomfortably. "I don't know how to do this." She confesses shyly. You laugh.
"Not the sleepover type?" You ask.
She scoffs. "You could say that." You scoot closer towards her and push gently against her arm.
"You've got to face the other way if you want to cuddle, Nat." You say. She hesitates before slowly moving to lay on her side.
"Who said I wanted to cuddle?" She says grumpily, but makes no move to escape you when you throw an arm around her and pull her against your body.
She's quiet for a long while before she says, "Just get it over with, Y/N?"
"Get it over with?" You ask.
"Ask me what happened. I know you want to." She mutters.
"Do you want to tell me?" You ask. You can feel, rather than see the way she shakes her head. "Then I won't ask." You say.
"Stupid of you, being that nice." She says, but invites no further comment on it.
You tentatively reach a hand toward her hair, remembering all too well how brittle it looked after she first bleached it. You worried for naught as it was surprisingly soft. You smile softly as you begin to stroke her hair. She makes a quiet noise of contentment as she wiggles further into you.
"Goodnight," She murmurs sleepily.
…
You're sitting at a party a few weeks later broodily sipping your soda. You promised Nat you'd drive her home afterwards as you knew she always got wasted at parties. Your feelings for Nat had decidedly changed the more time you spent with her, but you weren't sure what you should do with them. It didn't seem to stop her, You think jealously, From letting fucking Kevyn Tan flirt with her. You sigh sullenly and decide that you might as well put yourself out there.
You catch Lottie's eye as you leave the kitchen. She raises an eyebrow in an expectant look, but you just roll your eyes at her. She's tried to convince you for weeks just to talk to Nat. It's easy for her to say, when she already has a girlfriend. You think, glancing at Laura Lee on the couch next to her.
Laura Lee waves exuberantly at you as soon as she sees you. You can't help the way the corners of your lips quirk up as you raise your hand to wave back at her. You were pretty surprised when she started tagging along to Lottie's parties, but she seemed to have a really good time with the team even if she never drank.
"Hey," You hear a quiet voice from behind you say. You turn around curiously to see Shauna standing behind you.
"Hey," You answer a little cautiously. You can't say that you've ever really spoken that much too Shauna; You can't say that anyone beside Jackie has ever really spoken much to Shauna. She's always struck you as the broody poet type so it wasn't surprising that she mostly kept to herself.
"I think you look really nice, tonight." She says awkwardly. Her eyes widen slightly and she adds in a rush, "Not that you don't always look nice." You stare at her blankly, unable to hide your surprise.
"You… You look nice too, Shauna." You offer carefully. "I like your flannel. It's a really nice pattern. Brings out your eyes." Shauna smiles genuinely at you.
"Thanks," She says. "Jackie picked it out." Jackie's head turns towards you from across the room, almost as if she could sense her name being spoken. Her eyes narrow imperceptibly in anger as she watches the two of you. You glance at Shauna and see the subtle twitch of her lips that's hidden from Jackie. Ah, You think. That's what this is.
You slap Shauna's bicep playfully as you give her a flirtatious grin. "Are you using me to make Jackie jealous? You could have just asked, you know." You say, always happy to piss off your favorite captain. Shauna looks surprised that you caught her that quickly but nods embarrassedly, the blush on her face only adding to the illusion that you're flirting with each other.
You spend the rest of the party making Jackie jealous, both of you blissfully unaware of the scathing glare being sent Shauna's way by Nat.
…
You reach a hand out to steady Nat as she nearly trips for a second time on the walk from your car to your house. "Jesus, Nat." You say fondly. "Got really fucked up tonight, huh?"
Needless to say you're pretty surprised when she rips her arm out of your grasp with a scoff and sharply says, "Whatever. You're not my mom." You stand there slack-jawed as you watch her storm up the stairs to your room.
You hesitantly follow her up the stairs and stand unsurely in the doorway as she sits on your bed fuming. "Nat?" You ask tentatively. She looks up at you. "I was just joking, you know? I don't mind taking care of you if you get too drunk." You say.
She softens and sighs loudly. "Why do you always have to be so…" She trails off.
"So what?" You ask.
"I was being such a bitch and you're still being so nice." She says honestly.
You shrug. "I wouldn't say it like that, but." You tease and she gives you a meaningless glare. "Why are you mad?" You ask.
"Saw you." She admits. "You and Shauna, I mean." She adds at your confused look.
You can't help the way you tense up at her words. "You didn't strike me as the homophobic type, Nat." You say softly.
She nearly gasps in surprise. "What?" She asks incredulously. "I was jealous, loser. Not homophobic." She looks as surprised as you do as she says it. Clearly you had shocked her so much that she spoke without meaning to.
"We weren't seriously flirting." You admit. "But Shauna likes Jackie, Nat." She groans as she buries her head in her hands.
"I was jealous of Shauna." She says tiredly. "How much clearer do I need to be?" She mutters quietly to herself.
You watch her desperately. There's nothing in the world you want more right now than for her to mean it. "I only did it because I was jealous of Kevyn." You admit. Her face splits in that cocky grin of hers.
"Do you wanna kiss about it then?" She asks happily, her voice right on the edge of slurring Maybe Lottie was right. You think. She does always seem to have a sense for these things. Still.
"You're drunk." You deflect. "Probably won't remember this tomorrow, anyways." She lets out a long exhale as she flops back against your bed.
"Kiss you in the morning then." She mutters moodily. You shrug and climb into bed next to her, watching her for a long moment.
"If you want." You say simply.
You're startled awake by someone shaking your arm. Your eyes open blearily as the early morning sun peers through your window. "Whatsit?" You ask drowsily. You feel the bed move as Nat shifts her weight.
"Look, here." She says. You turn to her sleepily. "See? Very sober." She teases as she leans down to kiss you. You hold still for a moment as you try to surmise if you're really awake or not. You surge forward as she starts to uncertainly pull away and continue it.
You pull back panting after a few long minutes. Flopping back against your pillow and laughing deliriously. You squeeze her hand softly as she grins down at you, shifting to straddle your hips.
"How was that?" She asks with a look just a touch more smug than she has a right to.
"Mm, I don't know." You say playfully. "I think you might still be drunk. Should try a few more times just in case."
She sighs dramatically as if assigned hard labor. "If I must." She murmurs, leaning down to meet you.

Enemies with benefits
Tumblr media
Lottie matthews x fem!reader
WARNINGS: SMUT, 16+, degrading, Lottie is out of character, she’s a bitchy mean girl in this (actually just a scared pookie)
A/N: got a little carried away w this one guys i can’t lie..it’s 18.6k words….
Your heart is pounding.
It’s just a scrimmage, you shouldn’t be so serious about this but there’s only one reason you’re taking it so serious.
Lottie fucking Matthews is on your tail.
Lottie and you have been rivals for years and I mean YEARS. Ever since elementary school, Lottie was social and popular, while you were quite the opposite, shy and unknown. Lottie was also one of the richest families in town, you couldn’t say the same.
That always caused a certain distaste between you two. You two competed in everything, math, science, art, sports. That’s the whole reason you joined soccer, to beat and be better than Lottie.
You guys had been enemies for quite some time, until one night. Jackie was hosting a party and Lottie got super drunk, the both of you were shit faced and ended up drunkenly hooking up.
After it happened twice and then a third time..and then a fifth time. You both agreed to be enemies with benefits, you guys would act normal in public. Shitty to each other like usual, but in private if you needed to relieve stress, it was fair game.
Lottie elbows you in your side, knocking the wind out of you. Completely against the rules to touch another player as her leg swipes the ball away from you with a laugh.
“Good luck on the bench when coach sees how you’ve been playing lately!” Lottie calls out, not loud enough for Ben or Jackie to hear, otherwise they certainly wouldn’t have allowed the negative talk.
You growl in anger, huffing and puffing. Not even bothering to run after Lottie as your legs burn, Lottie’s running towards the goal and eventually makes it in.
Lottie plays aggressively during the practice, forty five damn minutes of her snarky remarks, teasing glances, and taking the ball from you at opportunity.
After a tiring practice, it’s finally over. Coach Ben hands out waters to everyone and dismisses the girls to the locker room.
You walk to the changing room. Your two closest friends on the team, Taissa and Van, bid goodbye to you. The door closes and everyone seems to be gone except for you as you start stripping yourself of your shirt.
You pull back on your regular clothes, gasping when you turn your head and have a heart attack at the sight of Lottie Matthews. You thought everyone was gone but she was leaning against the wall, a coy smirk on her face.
You hated how that damn smirk made you feel.
She doesn’t take her uniform off, just leans forwards and rests her chin on her hand with an arrogant smirk on her face as she watches you change.
“You think you’re so cute, don’t you? You’re not all that.” She remarks, trying to piss you off for no reason. That was Lottie’s favorite hobby, i mean, seriously, where did that comment even come from?
She knows, deep down, just how cute you actually are, that’s why Lottie even thought of it. But part of being ‘Lottie’ is not letting people know what you actually think.
Lottie couldn’t deny she had been feeling..different towards you lately. She got a bit too drunk during one of your hook ups and you immediately stopped, holding her close while she threw up and cuddling her when she asked.
It was the first time she had remembered when you cuddled her to sleep, Lottie was always a bit drunk that she had no idea you would just hold her instead of having sex when she was too drunk which happened a lot more frequently then she expected.
Lottie had no idea of all the things she’s told and said to you.
But when she did remember, Lottie just excused it as being drunk and acted like she didn’t even remember it. As if she didn’t remember how safe and warm she felt in your arms. When she realized she wanted more than just sex.
“You say the exact opposite whenever you’re drunk and trying to fuck me.” You hiss at her. The other girls had no idea about our little secret so you made sure no one was in the locker room before saying that.
You slam your locker door shut, ready to leave since it’s clear Lottie’s in a pissy mood today and you’re sure she doesn’t want to hook up right now, just be a bitch.
Truly, you felt sorry for the girl. You knew she was only a bitch because she was so rich and alone, her parents never home and leaving her by herself.
You liked the girl she was when she was vulnerable and shy, the few nights where she would be so drunk that you two wouldn’t even have sex.
Lottie would just cuddle you and talk, she never remembered it the next day. You did though.
Lottie told you about her parents and home life, she sounds like she lives a lonely life. Still doesn’t make her any less of a bitch though.
Your words sting to Lottie. They cut deep because they are true.
Lottie is the one who always initiates the hookups. She is the one who always makes the first move.
They’re good and they’re fun, but there’s not a lot of romance involved. Most of the time, no one is sober.
“You’re too needy. Desperate, even.” Lottie snaps. You can tell she wants you, she just doesn’t want you to know that you have the upper hand.
“Then stop trying to fuck me.” You say with a roll of your eyes and huff, not in the mood to entertain Lottie’s delusional tantrums right now.
You grab your backpack and sling it over your shoulder, you had to walk home because no one could pick you up from practice and it sure as hell was a long ass walk.
And Lottie was just pissing you off.
“I only do it because I feel bad for you.” Lottie speaks with a dismissive smirk.
She’s not going to let you get away that easily. She pushes herself off from the locker and grabs your arm, trying to turn you around to face her.
You huff and turn around, grasping at both of her arms and slamming her against the lockers, pinning her up with a snarl even though you were shorter then her. (Lottie’s tall as fuck so that’s the only reason i added this but if ur taller then her ignore this💀)
“You know what I think, Lottie? I think you like pissing me off because you love how hard it makes me fuck you.”
You whisper seductively, a coy smirk on your face now.
“Don’t think i’ve forgotten. How everytime I have you, you’re begging me to touch you and you whimper and moan like a little slut.”
You watch as she turns as red as a tomato. You know that deep down there’s something more to your on-again-off-again hook-up. But she isn’t ready to talk about it yet and, until she is, you’re going to enjoy antagonizing her.
She squirms around in your grasp, her face a deep red.
You smirk.
“Stop fucking with me, Matthews. Or i’m going to make you forget your own name.”
You whisper seductively in her ear.
“But you’re such a slut, you’d probably like that.” You whisper once more before pulling away, satisfied that you have this power over Lottie as you move to walk away from her again, wanting to tease her and leave her desperate.
She snatches your wrist as you turn around, her eyes now filled with a look of desire as she slowly pulls you back towards her. She wraps her arms around your back, pushing you up against the lockers.
She speaks softly and seductively. “I can make you beg too.”
“Yeah, right.” You smirk and grab her, trying to flip your positions. You cant deny that you blush a bit and your stomach flutters when Lottie pins you to the wall.
You grab her and smash your lips onto hers, it’s not gentle in the slightest, it’s primal and messy as you two make out against the lockers, both of you grasping each other tightly.
It all feels so different now.
The tension between you is almost tangible.
She grabs at you, gripping the fabric of your shirt as she tries to push you back against the locker, her body pressed tightly against yours.
You taste her lip gloss, and it’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever experienced.
You push her against the locker wall and press your body against hers, the friction driving you wild as you feel the heat simmering between the two of you.
You grab her and lead her over to the bench, sitting her down while you kneel to her height and kiss her, not wanting to lose the taste of her sweet lip gloss.
You start to kiss down her neck, no one should walk in the locker room since it’s so late in the afternoon but you decided it would be safe to be quick about pleasuring Lottie.
You can feel your heart beating in your chest, your breath coming in steady pants as you slowly drag your lips down her neck.
She closes her eyes and bites her lower lip, giving away just how good you’re making her feel.
Her fingernails gently dig into your shoulders as she starts to squirm underneath you. Her breaths become slightly erratic and you can hear her breathing quicken as you move your lips lower.
“You’re so beautiful.” You whisper softly, not even realizing what you just said until the words slip out of your lips. You’ve complimented her before during sex, calling her “hot” or “sexy.”
But never beautiful..it felt much more intimate and you can tell it surprises Lottie too because she lets out a soft whimper.
You’re completely caught up in the moment, focused solely on making your ‘worst enemy’ feel good. Her body is perfect, it’s hard not to just look at her.
You kiss her inner thigh and Lottie moans softly, pushing her hips forward and moving her body to give you better access. She closes her eyes, her breathing becoming more shallow and excited.
She grabs onto your shoulders for support, pushing herself into your touch.
You grab her inner thighs and pull her onto your awaiting mouth. Worshipping her, the way you touch her is almost like you never hated her, it’s in such a loving and gentle way, focused on her pleasure.
The way Lottie moans and gasps fuels the movements and your body is screaming at you never to stop even if your jaw locks up.
Because how could you ever stop when there’s a literal angel up above, begging you not to?
These were the moments you didn’t hate Lottie Matthews, the times where she didn’t try to act all cold and strong.
But you knew the second it was over, she’d hate you again, and the cycle would continue.
Your lips feel like heaven against her skin, your tongue exploring and loving every inch of her.
It was easy to hate her, but now, seeing her like this, hearing her moans, feeling her body shake - it’s impossible.
Your lips move across her wet skin, her reactions spurring you on. The cycle always repeated itself but this time, you don’t want it to. There’s more to what you feel for Lottie. More than just hate or sexual tension - but love too. But will she ever admit it?
Your tongue is as gentle as you can make it on her skin. The kisses along her thighs, the gentle licking; You’re enjoying every second of this and Lottie’s pleasure only fuels your desire for more.
Your hand is resting on the side of her leg, squeezing softly from time to time.
You can smell her body, the aroma of her sweat and soap blending together in a pleasant symphony.
Your heart beats faster and faster as you continue. Eager to give her everything she needs.
You hear her deep breaths, her lips parted slightly. Her skin is soft and delicate as your tongue caresses and teases.
She’s not used to this kindness from you, not used to you being so gentle - yet so passionate.
Her leg trembles under your hand as you squeeze, as if her legs are weak and her soul is weak too.
She’ll never admit it but this is what she really wants. To feel safe. To feel loved.
You rub her thigh in a comforting manner, you don’t know why you were being so gentle. After Lottie was so damn rude to you earlier, you just couldn’t help it.
But in the moment, you just let yourself pleasure her, make her feel safe and good even though she’ll never actually admit it was good to you or herself.
When Lottie has a breakdown, when her fear and abandonment issues take control, she goes to you. Begging for sex. Begging to take the thoughts away because for some reason, it makes all her fears disappear.
She can never admit it to you though, she’s terrified. Terrified of rejection and being in a committed relationship. Scared that you’ll leave her.
It’s the only thing that helps her and the one thing she always needs, even if she hates admitting it.
Your tongue presses against her sensitive spot and she lets out a loud moan. Her legs squirm and move quickly against your face, her inner thighs pressing against your lips as her body trembles.
Her breaths become rapid, almost like a whimper.
She’s close.
Your tongue becomes faster and more forceful. eager to make her feel as good as possible, to show her how much she means to you right now.
Determined to give her something that nobody else ever could. The kind of pleasure she could only get from you.
You can’t tell where all this love and passion is coming from but it feels so real in this moment.
You know when this is over, she’ll go back to being cruel. But in this moment, it’s worth the pain.
She moans out your name, her grip on your back tightening to the point where your skin hurts, but you can take it. She squirms underneath you, her body pressing as hard as it can into yours.
Her legs shake and squirm, holding you as tight as possible. She moans your name again, her throat trembling as tears flow down her cheeks.
You see her look at you again and it’s like it opens your eyes for the first time.
You don’t just love her. You’re in love with her.
The thought makes you almost cry, because you know you can’t be in love with Lottie. She was everything you weren’t, pretty and rich and popular.
It pisses you off and your movements get deeper and rougher. Your fingers gripping her thighs and pulling her deeper onto your tongue.
You knew Lottie would never have you, not in any way other then this pleasurable feeling that she craves and then will move on and go flirt with one of the soccer boys as if she wasn’t just screaming your name.
As you continue, she lets out broken breaths between her cries.
“Y/n, oh Y/n,” she murmurs between her tears. “Y/n, Y/n...”
“I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you,” she continues, her body shaking as every thrust of your tongue drives her deeper into the pleasure and bliss.
Her fingers dig into your wrist and her legs wrap tightly around you.
Her words, her pleas, they’re all the proof you need. She hates you but needs you in this moment.
You growl, the way she’s crying from pleasure and saying she hates you. It hurts, you know you can’t have her and you’re stupid for falling in love with her.
Everyone knows Lottie Matthews is a heartbreaker.
You add your fingers to the mix, not giving her time to adjust. Starting to ram them into her soaking pussy along with your tongue.
You want to make her never forget this, want her to know that although she may hate you, you’re the only one who can make her scream in this way.
“Y/N!” She screams between breaths as tears flow down her face.
You feel yourself becoming more rough, more brutal. You want her to know how much this means to you, you wish she would admit she loves you.
She tries to speak, but words of praise and emotion are too hard for her to speak.
“Y/n.. Y/n,” she whispers gently. She grabs your hand, pulling it into the depths of her and moaning softly.
You crash your lips onto hers, your fingers pounding her. You want to cry, want to scream, you’re in love with her but she won’t ever see you as anything more than the nerd who makes her feel good sometimes.
You end up letting a few tears fall down your face but if Lottie notices, she doesn’t mention it because you’re kissing her so hard and your fingers are just a blur of movement between her legs because they’re going so fast.
“I hate you so fucking much.” You whisper, your voice shaking as your fingers pound between her legs.
It’s not true. you don’t hate her. She was beautiful but she was such a bitch, but the moments where she was drunk and snuggled into you after hooking up was the only time you ever saw her truly.
And you wanted it.
You didn’t want anyone else to see her the way you did.
But you hate her for making you feel like this, it pisses you off. You want to hate her, you want to, you thought you truly did but you can’t and you never will.
She whines through her tears, pulling you closer as her fingers wrap around your wrist, her back arching up slightly as she moans out your name again.
“Y/n, Y/n, Y/n..”
“I-I hate you..!” She whimpers once more, but between the words, there’s only love, love for you and what you’re making her feel.
She tries to speak again, but just like before, the words get stuck. All that comes out are soft and quiet, almost incomprehensible “I hate you’s” and more soft moans of pleasure.
Whenever she says she hates you, it makes your movements even tougher. Your body is rocking with hers and going so fast that the noises are smacking throughout the room.
“Shut up.”
You plead when she cries out your name, it sounds beautiful on her lips and it makes you love her even more and you hate it.
You just want her to come, so you’re done with this, but you also never want it to stop.
“Y/N, Y-Y/N, Y/N!” Lottie gasps loudly, her tears slowly running down her face as she shakes and moans out your name over and over again.
That’s all you can hear in the room, her voice, your name, your actions. And how much she hates you.
Then, suddenly, you feel her muscles flex around your fingers as her body tenses. You feel her shake and groan and moan as her body erupts into pleasure.
“Y/N! Y/N!” Her noises fills you up and you feel her squeeze you tight.
You hold her and slow down your fingers to help her ride out her orgasm. Lottie’s body is twitching and riding your fingers as she lets out soft cries, her cum gushing on your fingers.
After she calms down, you pull your fingers out and wipe them on your jeans (gross).
You just fell in love with Lottie.
Your enemy..
While you were literally fucking her..
You’re a bit overwhelmed, and you feel like Lottie can almost tell that that sex was a bit more..intense then you guys agreed for it to be.
You want to hold her, to kiss her, to ask her if she’s okay. But you guys both agreed not do that. After care will get you attached.
“So..um..do you, uh..need anything?” You ask with a nervous voice as you watch Lottie shakily stand up and pull her skirt back up.
Lottie scoffs, back to her bitchy self.
“We agreed not to do that shit.” Lottie bites back at you, grabbing her backpack. Not even saying goodbye to you as she storms out of the locker room on shaky legs like you didn’t just give her the most intense orgasm.
You sigh and grab your backpack, usually she was cold after sex but not that cold..
Little did you know.
Lottie was panicking as she walked to her car.
She had fallen in love with you, too.

Soulmates.
I was in a discord server earlier, and we got to talking about the Yellowjackets as soulmates, and I thought I'd share those thoughts here, just a nice little put together catalogue of all those thoughts put together. I might add to this, too, as more pairings and relationships come to me.
For the record, I want to point out that I think that all of these characters are soulmates, far beyond ship dynamics, far beyond romance. What makes up the insides of one makes up the insides of the others because they are all the same: teenage girls trapped in either growing or decaying bodies. Their souls are all mated to the others in some way or another.
Tai and Van are a pair. Two separate souls that are a part of a matched set, like socks. They can be worn mismatched, certainly, but they really are at their best together. Tai gives Van a purpose. Van calms Tai's "demons." They can exist without each other, live without each other, love without each other, but they just are at their best together.
Lottie and Nat are that sort of star-crossed soulmates, doomed soulmates. There's a red string of fate but its severed somewhere in the middle. They can be good for each other, laugh and smile and hold each other close. They can be the worst of each other, holding knives to each other's throats, laughing in the face of it. They're the epitome of a missed chance. What kind of missed chance? That's up for you to decide.
Misty and Nat are the kind of soulmates that don't seem like they'd match, but they work so good together. The believer and the skeptic (though who is who changes with the circumstance, the belief, the skepticism). Orange and blue. Salt and sweet. Chaotic good and lawful evil. They're diametrically opposed but in a way that makes sense, in a way that works together. They each feed off of what makes the other their opposite. One is running, the other is chasing. Of course one would die at the hand of the other.
Lottie and Laura Lee are the kind of soulmates where each thinks they are the worshipper while the other is the god. A prophet, a believer, a worship under the sun. Souls that just burn brighter around each other (and that pun was unintentional the first time but very intentional with the emphasis). Both want to help the other. Both want to hold the other. They are belief without boundaries personified. Each is Icarus. Each is the sun.
Tai and Shauna are soulmates in a way that recognizes "That is my person." Two people that have so much in common, who understand each other, who both recognize the want in the other. They have an understanding and a care for each other that's fierce. I see you, you see me, ad it might not be pretty, but we will be honest with each other. Especially as the two of them have aged; time has not erased their understanding of one another.
Jackie and Nat are soulmates in a way that isn't explored a lot in the show but has been discussed, from what I've seen, really well. Foils. Two sides of the same coin. Opposites. Rich girl, poor girl. Prude, slut. There are certain stereotypes around both of them that, from a glance, seem to play out. One only needs to look deeper to really see it. Unfortunately, from the show, we never really see the two of them see past their expectations of each other.
Jackie and Shauna. Two heads, one heart. I don't know where you end and I begin and all that. We've been there, we've done that. We know it by heart. They're not a pair because a pair implies separation, and there is none. You can cut out your heart, and you can even replace it, but it's never the same. They're two shattered halves of the same fucked up whole. When one piece is gone, the hole cannot be filled properly ever again. There are some species of worms that, when worm cut in half, can keep living as two separate entities. That does not negate the fact that it was once one whole creature. They're unhealthy together. They're unnatural apart. One did not live long enough to remedy either of these facts.
(If Jackie's heart was still beating, I know it would beat in time with Shauna's. I hope Shauna ate it to feel it beat with hers one last time.)

Tumblr media
Taissa elbowed your side making you flinch. she smirked at you and kicked the ball that was under your feet before kicking it over to Van who stopped it and kicked it toward Lottie next. you rolled your eyes at her, a bit embarrassed that she had caught you in the act. you cleared your throat and motioned for Lottie to pass it to you next which she did with ease. Taissa chuckled at your attempt of distracting her from the situation but she planned on teasing you later on once you were in the locker room.
just a couple feet away was the source of your distraction, the brown eyed girl who you had been staring at since the beginning of practice. her hair was pulled back into a pony tail with just a couple strands framing her face. she was passing the ball to Jackie with a smile on her lips as she laughed about something she had said. you'd do anything to be the source of that smile. you were casual friends, just as you were with the rest of the girls on the team. Tai, Van and Lottie were the only three you were closest to. Lottie had been your best friend since you were kids and the couple were just better company than the rest. Jackie brought in a lot of drama that you weren't particularly interested in having to deal with and Shauna was only close to those who Jackie approved of. you didn't think you were one of those people.
"you should tell her" Taissa said, too impatient to wait until the locker to talk about it. you let out a sarcastic chuckle at the thought. telling Shauna was the last thing on your mind. she was straight and in the slim slim chance that she wasn't, she would probably be in love with Jackie. they were inseparable and you'd never seen her look at anyone in a way to indicate that she was interested in them.
"yeah right. she's straight or in love with Jackie. besides, she barely acknowledges my existence" you responded looking at the curly haired brunette. Lottie and Van took a couple of steps closer so that they could be in the conversation without Shauna hearing.
"i don't think she's straight" said Van with an amused chuckle. you looked at her with a deadpan expression, not at all buying her words or even that she believed them.
Lottie smiled as she glanced between you and Van, "there's only one way to find out" she shrugged optimistically. you rolled your eyes at all of them. this had been a regular conversation and it always ended the same. you weren't going to tell her. the rejection would break your heart and it would just fuck up the group dynamic.
"im not telling her. end of story" you said and like a miracle, seconds afterwards the whistle blew signaling that practice was over. the three teens laughed in amusement but followed quickly behind you as they changed the conversation to the halloween party that Jeff was throwing at his house.
with hope that the conversation wouldn't shift back to a certain dough eyed brunette, you zipped and button your jeans before reaching for your blue hoodie. much like you had expected the conversation did in fact not end where you left it on the field.
"look, if you tell her and she says no then whatever, at least you can move on" Taissa said from beside you. she was on the bench tying her shoes and Van was leaning against the lockers with her hand gripping one shoulder strap. you groaned in annoyance and threw your head back to really show just how over it you were.
"if i tell and she says no then i have to live with being the sad lesbian who fell for the straight girl" was your quick response. Taissa and Van glanced at each other, not all that sure what to say that could contradict that statement. truthfully you probably would end up being the hopeless girl in love with a straight girl and there was a high chance that it could get around the school. you had come out as bisexual during your freshman year but that was just to make things easier and before you had realized you only liked girls. it made things easier, the boys still thought they had a chance so they treated you like any other girl but being rejected by a straight girl? now that you wouldn't survive.
a sudden voice behind you spoke. "or she's just not straight" said Lottie making you flinch and your chest tighten. you closed your eyes as you held your hand against your chest where you could clearly feel your heart beating against it.
"fuck Lottie!" you exclaimed, "you scared the shit out of me!" that seemed to have been the most amusing thing ever as the three teens bursted out laughing at your reaction.
"i was behind you the whole time. you need to start paying attention to your surroundings" muttered the tall girl as she walked past you and sat beside Tai. great. now it was three against you. again.
a groan erupted from your throat, "all of you are so fucking annoying. seriously. Shauna doesn't like girls and she doesn't like me so can we please just drop this?" you said and closed your locked a lot harsher than you intended causing it to make a loud noise and the other three girls flinched lightly at the suddenness of it. you grabbed your backpack and threw it onto one shoulder before walking toward the exit in a hurry. not quick enough though, Tai, Van and Lottie were on your heel with fast steps. figures.
the door opened in front of you and you stepped out of the locker room completely. met with an empty gymnasium you continued to walk until Lotties voice stopped you. "okay okay," she said quickly and grabbed your arm so you would stop walking. you came to a halt and finally turned back around so you were met with the three girls once more. "we won't say anything anymore. we just don't want you to keep pining over her" she shrugged which earned nods from the other two.
"plus you guys would look good together" added Van, in hopes that you wouldn't stay too mad at them for meddling so much. with a small smile you rolled your eyes at her words. a small blush spread across your face and you were sure if they didn't feel so apologetic for being nosy they probably would've teased you about it by then.
your mouth opened in an attempt to assure them it wasn't a big deal but your words died in your throat as your eyes shifted behind them. the locker room door opened to reveal a pair of best friends. it seemed as if the oxygen had been knocked out of your throat as you let out a little gasp at the sight. the three girls looked at you confused before they followed your eyes sight which elicited a similar reaction. their eyes widened in shock.
the only thing you could do in that moment was to hope they hadn't heard anything. hoped that in some magical way they weren't paying attention to your loud voice when you admitted to having a crush on her. oh fuck. her not hearing was impossible, it was like someone held a microphone up to your lips for fucks sake. Jackie glanced at you with a look you couldn't quite read but that wasn't your answer, it was the fact that Shaunas eyes were actively avoiding you as she grabbed Jackie's wrist and practically ran out of the gymnasium.
you were so fucking fucked.
the house phone was held up to your ear as you were in your room with your legs propped on your headboard and your eyes were trained on the ceiling. "she heard." were the words that left your mouth for the fifth time during the phone call. a loud groan reached your ear from the other line.
"no she didn't." Taissa said again. after having seen Shauna you ended up freaking out the whole car ride home. Lottie was always the one to give you ride to and from school which meant she had to be the one to hear you go on and on about the fact that Shauna and Jackie would probably tell the whole school. or Jackie would tell Jeff and he would or Shauna would tell someone and they would and so on. words were spilling from your lips faster than you or Lottie could process but she still tried her best to listen and reassure you that it would all be okay. yeah right. like you were going to believe that it would all be okay.
you rolled your eyes at Taissas effort to console you. "of course she did. she could barely look at me! i can't do this. i'm skipping school tomorrow." you shook your head.
"no you aren't. your parents would kill you." she responded which was true. but you figured being grounded was better than having to face Shauna. at least then you'd have an excuse to not go to Jeff's party which she would most definitely be attending.
"i can live with that." you nodded even though she couldn't see. you could practically feel her roll her eyes through the line.
Taissa huffed, "seriously y/n. it's not a big deal. people have crushes all the time, it's not the end of the world"
"it is when you're a lesbian and you know that" you responded with a slight drop in your voice, almost as if someone else could hear.
the line was silent for a couple of seconds which you knew meant that what you had said was right and she had no way of arguing with you. "maybe," she agreed. "but it'll go away in a couple of days. something will probably happen at Jeff's party and that'll be the new gossip. just come to school tomorrow. Van, Lot and i will be there with you" she said a lot more thoughtfully this time.
you contemplated her words. you didn't doubt that they'd try their best to distract you from the whole ordeal but at the same time you weren't sure if you could deal with Shauna avoiding you. it's not like you were close anyway, she only talked to you if it was about soccer or once in a blue moon when you went to parties but it never got further than that. maybe it wouldn't be that different. maybe she'd make things normal for the sake of the team. god you hoped so.
like promised Taissa, Van and Lottie were with you during the whole practice. it was just a scrimmage so you didn't have to interact with Shauna much but during the small amount of times that you did she would try her best to look anywhere else but at you. every time it happened you couldn't help but feel a tightening sensation in your chest and a wave of embarrassment to wash over you.
the actual school part was fine, it seemed as if you were wrong about everyone finding out because it was just like any normal day. it had been another junior that got everyone's attention, not you. that was a relief.
once the whistle blew which indicated that practice was over you ran into the locker room to wash off as quickly as possible so you could go home. just five minutes later you were dressed in your light jeans and white hoodie. your three friends were standing near you talking amongst themselves while they were still getting dressed, not exactly in a rush like you were. you were on the bench tying your shoes as quickly as you possibly could, too distracted to notice anyone around you. if you had maybe you would've seen Jackie and Shauna whispering hastily but a couple inches away. the ones who did notice were the three musketeers that had been teasing you about her since you confessed to them.
the three of them glance at each other confused by what was going on. they wouldn't have cared if Jackie wasn't motioning in your direction with her head. it didn't click until they saw Shauna take a breath and begin to approach you with nervously. it was obvious by her posture her and the way she kept glancing at her fiddling hands before looking up at you, who was still getting your last shoe tied.
"y/n," Taissa said softly hitting your arm with the back of her hand. the action made you roll your eyes. you quickly finished tying before looking at her.
"what?" you asked annoyed. she looked at your with pursed lips as she motioned to the brunette with her head as slyly as possible. your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Lottie and Van turned their body and began to take a couple steps toward the door so they could give you privacy. Taissa didn't seem to have gotten the hint causing her girlfriend to whisper her name twice before she finally went with them.
by then you had already met Shaunas nervous gaze. at first you thought she was going to confront you about what she had heard and maybe tell you that it wasn't going to happen and you needed to get over her but that thought quickly vanished once you saw Jackie smiling at the both of you on the other side of the locker room. your brows shot up as you realized what was happening, your nerves began to sky rocket and you could swear you felt your heart skip a beat.
the brunette stood directly in front of you, both of her arms at her side by you could see her hands gripping at the end of her flannel which she seemed to do a lot when she's nervous. you blinked, once, twice before you finally stood up from the bench and shot her a shy smile. "hi" you breathed out. if Shauna didn't look like she was struggling internally you would've been afraid that she had seen how nervous you looked.
"hey," Shauna responded and finally looked directly at you. when her brown eyes met yours, a dozen butterflies began to swarm in your stomach which made you feel queasy. "i . ." she trailed off, almost looking behind her but she stopped herself before she could. "yesterday i kind of overheard you talking." she said. the butterflies soon turned into dread at the thought of how wrong you were about how this conversation could've gone.
fuck, fuck. you wished you had one of your friends to hold onto but you didn't. you were standing on your own with the girl you were madly in love with in front of you. "im sorry about that" you rushed out, hoping with every fiber of your being that she wouldn't humiliate you. "i didn't mean to make you uncomfortable and i promise i'll back off if you want-"
Shaunas voice cut you off before you could continue to spurt out apologies. "no," she said quickly making you shut up instantly. no? what does that mean? she sighed which made her shoulders visibly relax, "i like you too." she confessed lowly.
she.. what..? at first you weren't sure if you had heard her correctly or if it was just your mind playing tricks on you but by the hopeful smile plastered on the brunettes lips you were positive it hadn't all been a dream. holy shit.
"you-you do?" you asked nervously.
Shauna smiled and nodded, "yeah." she confirmed a lot less timid than she had been before. nothing was said on your end, the only reaction that came from you was the sight of your eyes widening and your jaw dropping slightly. Shauna almost thought you were adorable. it didn't click that you weren't going to say anything until Jackie cleared her throat behind the brunette, snapping her out of it. "i was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime?" she finally asked.
she expected you to have a delayed reaction like you had been having since the conversation started but you didn't. instead your lips quirked into a smile and you nodded, "yeah. id love that" you confirmed.
that seemed to be enough to make her smile widen. "cool. i'll pick you up tonight?"
all you could do was nod. the brunette shot you one last smile before turning around and walking up to Jackie. the two of them left the bathroom quickly after leaving you standing there with your jaw slacked, completely frozen in place. the three girls still in the room ran toward you and began to squeal in delight knocking some sense into you.
"i told you she liked you back!" Lottie exclaimed happily but all you could do was smile.
the date was amazing. she had taken you to a small italian place. the lights were dim and they had the typical checkered table clothe along with a single candle in the middle of the table. it was a bit awkward at first, neither of you knew what to talk about so it of course resulted in soccer. after that the conversation seemed to have flown freely, it shifted to personal things and so on. you had almost lost hope that the date would so be so awkward that you'd have to just stay friends but that thought left your mind quickly after. the longer the date lasted the more you felt a fluttery feeling form in your stomach.
an hour and a half later the two of your had left the restaurant and Shauna began to drive you home. it was pretty silent compared to the restaurant. Shauna had put on music which was sounding softly in the background whilst you looked out the window. truthfully, you were itching to do something, hold her hand or maybe even kiss her but you were too scared to. you didn't want to mess things up. Shauna continued to drive in the direction of your home silently until you saw an ice cream shop and offered to buy some since she had been the one that paid for dinner. the brunette didn't seem opposed to the idea and so she pulled into the parking lot that was relatively empty because it was so late.
a scoop of strawberry was on your cone and chocolate was on hers as you both leaned against the hood of her car. it wasn't awkward, it was actually nice. you'd never really thought you could feel so comfortable not having to fill the silence on a first date but Shaunas whole demeanor was just so calm. you weren't sure why she was so different compared to anyone else or if it was all in your head and she was the one feeling awkward. regardless, you turned to face her direction as you began to talk.
"you know . . this is the first date i've ever be on" you confessed a bit shyly. your eyes were trained on your strawberry ice cream and you tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. if that didn't make it obvious, the light pink hue on your cheeks surely did. Shauna looked up from her ice cream with her eyebrows raised in surprise. she was sure she had seen you hanging out with guys before. maybe they had just been friends but it didn't seem that way. not to mention the fact that everyone loved you. regardless of your sexuality, guys and girls loved how nice you always were to everyone. the boys especially loved looking at your sweet smile or listening to your laugh even though they knew you were just laughing to make them feel better. being pretty was just the nail on the coffin.
she had her reasons to ask you out, that was a given, but you being the sweetheart that the whole school loved, well, it just made it all the better. hearing that this had been your first date was shocking, surely someone would've already wanted to take you out. she had even seen you with the captain of the basketball team but maybe that was just a fling.
"really?" was her quiet surprise.
hearing her talk made you finally get the courage to look at her. "yeah. is it that surprising?"
Shauna shook her head quickly, "i just thought you dated Mason" she explained. the last thing she wanted to do was offend you or make you feel bad about your dating status. it's not like she'd been on many dates either.
the truth was that you had hung out with the captain of the basketball team. he was cute, had curly black hair that was always perfect. he had a sharp jawline and a perfect smile, not to mention the body of an athlete and he was kind. but he was just like any other guy. his idea of a date was hanging out in his basement with his friends whilst they got drunk or high with you on his arm, almost as if you were a prize. it lasted three months before you couldn't take it anymore. you didn't even talk, when he picked you up to take you to school he would just blast music. during lunch he'd talk to his friends and the one time you went out, he took you to watch a horror movie and tried to put his hand down your pants but you punched him before he could. it was then that you realized he only wanted to be the first guy to ever sleep with you.
after him you began to crush on Shauna so no one else would pry your mind like she would. she'd be the only girl you could think of during the day or before bed. the only time you wouldn't think about her smile and those brown eyes was when you slept.
your lips curved, "we hung out but the only time he took me out, he tried to do stuff that i didn't which led to a punch in the face. so i don't really consider it one" you said with a shy laugh. it was hesitant and Shauna could tell you were embarrassed by what you had just confessed.
"oh" she said her big eyes widening before she began to laugh along with you. that made you feel better about the whole thing.
you shrugged, "yeah. i guess im the cliche kind of spontaneous roses or dancing in the rain or showing up at my doorstep with a boombox. i don't know. i'm kind of a hopeless romantic which is stupid." with a shake of your head, you looked back down at your ice cream. the same blush that had been prominent practically throughout the whole night was still there and it was making your body burn in slight embarrassment.
Shauna was quick to reassure you, "it's not."
her words made your eyes snaps toward her. "really?" you asked hopeful.
she nodded. "yeah. i mean everyone is in a sense. i've actually always wanted someone to make a mixtape for me." she confessed and you could tell she was a bit flustered by her pink cheeks and the way her eyes kept darting down toward her shoes.
a smile formed on your lips. "why a mixtape?"
Shauna smiled as well. "i don't know. i guess the idea of someone taking the time to choose a song and everything is just really romantic" the two of you looked at one another for the first time that night. you saw her and she saw you. it was then that you realized who she was, not just the idea of her. and if you were being honest, it only made you fall even more.
that night during the drive to your house, you learned more about her. her favorite color, her favorite song, the reason she started playing soccer and even how she and Jackie became best friends. when she finally pulled up to your house, you expected her to just drop you off and leave but she didn't. instead, when you turned to say goodbye, she leaned in to press her lips against yours. it was sweet and short. even then, it had been the most magical kiss you'd ever experienced.
music was blasting through the speakers throughout the crowded home. drunk teens were all over the place, some just talking, others making out or playing beer pong. there was smoke from some teens smoking weed and some places were sticky with alcohol that had been spilled because of how drunk they were. outside, where there was a full moon and bright stars crowded around, drunk teens were in the hot tub and others just standing around with a drink in hand. the yellowjackets - mostly all were downstairs where most were playing beer pong. Jackie and Jeff were going against Taissa and Shauna. you had already gone but you sucked massively so you asked Tai to take your place.
you were standing to the side in between Lottie and Van who were talking about the last match which you all had won the last second. you weren't paying much attention, having to listen to them and also the four teens playing was starting to make you dizzy. Shauna and Taissa were competitive which meant they were trying their hardest to win. throughout most of it you could hear Jeff egging them on and telling them they sucked. it was obvious they were all joking by the way Shauna and Taissa had quick joking responses. even Jackie was in on trying to get in their head so she and her boyfriend could win. the prize? you weren't sure, probably just bragging rights but that didn't matter to them.
it was Jeff's infamous halloween party, you had arrived with Lottie since Shauna had gotten ready with Jackie. when the two of you decided to make it official, you didn't realize you also had to include Jackie in almost everything. they were best friends, sure, but Lottie was yours and you didn't have to include her when you hung out or had to cancel plans because she felt like you were neglecting her. you couldn't help but wonder if Shauna did that to her when it came to her and Jeff's relationship. just the other day you had planned a cute picnic date since it was going to be the last time it would be hot out, it ended up being Shauna, you and Jackie. maybe they didn't feel it but to you, it was awkward as hell. you spent the better half of the date listening to Jackie and Shauna talk as if they were alone and you knew your girlfriend felt bad, especially when she would place her hand on your thigh when you looked like you were zoning out or the way she would ask what you thought about the topic. it was sweet of her to think of you but you would've preferred if she had just cancelled.
that specific day had been no different. Lottie and you had gotten ready at your house. Lottie had on a purple skirt and a white shirt whilst you had on a black dress with thin lace at the edges of it. it wasn't irregular for you to wear such short dresses but the way Shauna looked at you when she saw you was like no one else had. sure, guys would gawk over you or check you out shamelessly but it was different when it came to her. she looked at you as if she needed you and you loved it. your girlfriend had on a short dress and you were sure that had been Jackie's doing and not hers.
it had been three hours so you arrived there and it was now almost two in the morning. you were a bit tired but Shauna seemed to be having fun so you didn't want to ruin that for her. she was your ride home after all. Lottie had offered but you hadn't been alone with the brunette since your first date which was almost three weeks ago and you wanted some privacy.
one red cup was left on both sides and the tension was growing between the four teens. Van and Lottie's conversation had been long forgotten as soon as they realized how close the game was to ending. it was Jackie's turn, everyone was tense as they watched her get the perfect angle. a moment later the ball flew across the table and landed swiftly in the last cup. groans erupted between Taissa and Shauna while Jackie squealed. you saw her turn to Jeff and throw her arms over his shoulders followed by him picking her up and spinning her. not really caring for them, you turned toward your girlfriend and friend instead. Taissa booed at them but it didn't really matter to her so she turned toward Van and Lottie to explain how she did have amazing skills but she 'had too many drinks'. that instilled a chuckle of amusement from you.
your eyes trailed away from your friends and toward your girlfriend who was looking at her best friend silently. at first you thought she was just being petty for losing but the longer you looked, the more it made sense. it had nothing to do with the game, it was them. you'd realized that when you first started paying attention to the brunette, the way she'd always look at Jackie distantly when she was with Jeff or the way everyone would always direct their attention toward Jackie and only ever acknowledged her presence with a small greeting. it was always about Jackie and you wanted things to change. things would be different with you, you'd make sure of that.
a smile curved on your lips and you took a step toward your girlfriend. the action made her finally pay attention to you, a small smile forming on her own lips. once you were close enough, you interlaced your hands on the back of her neck and pulled her close to you. "hi," you whispered softly which made her smile grow. she still had her hands at her side, something that had been a habit of hers since your first date. she was always too shy to touch you in any way, probably too afraid that you'd somehow not like her touch and pull away. that never crossed your mind though. instead of waiting for her to decide for herself, you grabbed her hands and placed them around your waist before putting your own back on her shoulders.
"hi," was her low response. you leaned in to peck her lips once making her smile grow and a light pink color to form on her face. you always found it extremely cute that she'd always blush when you kissed her.
she gripped your hips a bit tighter in support which you didn't mind. "wanna go upstairs?" you asked lowly so that none of your friends could hear you and make a big deal out of it. they had been teasing you about any little thing ever since your first date and although you weren't thinking about doing anything other than making out, you knew they wouldn't believe that.
the brunette nodded softly. that was enough confirmation for you to grab her hand and turn to the rest of the teens. "we're gonna get refills," you and began to walk away, not giving them enough time to protest. they were going to play another round which you knew and you didn't want any of them pulling her back. it was about time you had some alone time with your girlfriend.
"yeah sure," Tai called out behind you, "use protection!" she further teased making you roll your eyes in annoyance. with the hand that wasn't interlocked with Shaunas, you held it up and gave her the finger which earned snickers from the rest of the teens.
it didn't take long to get upstairs. there were some drunk teens crowding around the stairs and others making out in your way which made you have to shove past way too many people. the first room you entered was the bathroom so you quickly closed it and went to the next closed door. you wished you hadn't when you saw two half naked teens making out in Jeff's parents bedroom. finally, the next bedroom was empty and from what Shauna had told you, it was a guest room.
Shauna sat on the bed while you locked the door behind you. there was a sense of both excitement and nerves rumbling in your chest. not to mention the zoo of butterflies fluttering in your stomach. she was just Shauna. the girl who was probably just as nervous as you. the girl who had been nothing but sweet with you since you asked her to be your girlfriend. the girl who would open your car door or carry your backpack when she knew you had a more intense practice compared to her. the girl who would leave sweet little notes in your locker when you first started do it to her.
with deep silent breaths, you walked up to the brunette who was sitting at the very edge of the bed. she did look nervous. you could tell by her fingertips that were tapping against her thighs and the way she was biting her lip. it was probably the alcohol running through your body but it was enough courage to straddle her lap. you were hesitant at first, keeping your arms to your side so that she could push you off if she wanted to. she didn't. she placed her hand on your waist like she had just minutes before which helped you place your own hands on her shoulders for support.
you couldn't contain a smile, even when you bit your bottom lip to mask it. of course she'd still see how she was the one to make you like this. "i really like you." the words came out in a low whisper. you were close enough to smell the beer still lingering on her breath. close enough that you could see her soft skin and every little detail on her face. so close all you had to do was lean in a little bit and your lips would be on hers.
"i really like you too," she admitted in a whisper. her eyes kept glancing down at your lips and you knew what she wanted. you knew she wanted it but she couldn't do it. she was afraid to do something wrong or to mess things up with you. so you did it for her.
the distance closed between the two of you as you pressed your lips against hers. she kissed back instantly, her hands gripping at your waist which you had learned was a nervous habit of hers. typically the action would make you smile at how cute she was but the alcohol in you was making your body grow hot in a way you knew well. the kiss was slow at first. you were trying your best to let her ease into it since it was the first time you kissed longer than just a couple of seconds. you eased your way into it, leading her throughout it until she finally eased into it.
then the kiss grew rougher. her hands gripped at your waist a lot harsher as your tongues glided against one another. it was fast and hot and it made you want to grind onto her but you didn't. you weren't ready for that. not yet at least.
instead you gripped the back of her neck in support and got lost in the kiss. neither of you pulled away until your chests were burning with the need of oxygen. it was you who pulled away, both of your chest heaving up and down. pink lips were swollen and both of your pupils were blown out. the temperature in the room had began to rise and although you wanted to take things further, you didn't.
Shauna couldn't help but overthink if you thought she was good. did you think she was a bad kisser so you pulled away? were you going to tell that her that you wanted to go downstairs? it caused a wave of panic to rush through her so she did what she had seen done in movies dozens of times before. she leaned in to press kisses against your jaw, they were light and almost made you giggle but you fought the urge to. it didn't take long for her kisses to reach her neck. she pressed a small light kiss against your skin which made you smile and a small shiver to run down your spine. a second later she pressed down a lot rougher, her mouth opening and her tongue gliding against your skin. you moaned softly at the feeling and tangled your hands through her dark locks. when she began to suck at the skin, you pulled her hair a bit rougher than intended. the action fueled her pride, as well as every little noise you were making. even though you were trying to muffle it why biting your lip, she could still clearly hear you.
she didn't stop until you pulled her back by her hair so she'd meet your gaze. it's not that you wanted to stop but you were afraid that if she didn't, you'd take things further and regret it the next morning. a look of worry flashed through her eyes when you stopped her but you didn't let her overthink as you leaned in to kiss her. the kiss was wet and slow, unlike the one just before. she accepted your tongue gracefully and you could hear the lude noise throughout the room along with heavy breathing. as the kiss progressed, you realized you were wearing a dress and you began to realize that there was a possibly that she could feel how turned on you were. that made you pull away.
her eyes were closed as you looked down at her which made you smile. when they began to flutter open you leaned down to peck her lips quickly before pulling away completely. your teeth were on display as you smiled down at her. you were sure your cheeks were pink because so were here. she looked more disheveled though, her lips were a dark shade and her hair was messy from you pulling on it.
when the both of you recovered from such an intense kiss you both stood up, ready to go downstairs. you helped her fix her hair before you fixed your own appearance in the mirror. it didn't come to your attention that there something on you that hadn't been there when you first entered until Shauna pointed it out.
"shit," she whispered, her eyes locked on your neck. "im sorry, i didn't mean to." she nervously explained. you raised a brow at her, not really caught up on what she was apologizing for. instead of asking, you turned to the mirror and looked where her eyes had previously been staring.
oh.
there was a purple mark on your neck. it wasn't huge but it wasn't exactly small. definitely big enough that anyone else could see. it didn't bother you though. you actually found it kind of hot. you turned toward the brunette with a smile, "it's okay. i don't mind" were your words as you places a comforting hand on her arm.
"are you sure?" she asked quickly, far too anxious to believe you.
you nodded. "yeah. i'm sure"
the wave of relief that washed over her made your smile grow.
lights were hanging all around. there was christmas music in every store, on the radio and on the television. decorations were up on most homes making their house with Santa Clauses or Reindeers. christmas movies were on every channel and stores were packed with shoppers. it was the happiest time of the year and that was true for the couple. the time of year in which most families got together or traveled to celebrate.
wrapping paper was spread around the living room, the chimney on with the christmas tree lit up. the smell of freshly baked cookies and hot chocolate lingered around the kitchen and living room while 'home alone' was playing on the tv. there were kids running around playing with their new presents while the moms were in the kitchen making dinner. the dads of course, were sitting around talking or watching the movie on the screen. you weren't doing any of those things. instead, you were upstairs with your girlfriend who had snuck in after you finished opening presents. the brunette was laying down with you on her chest while you watched a christmas cartoon.
she had been there for almost two hours and you still had another hour before dinner was ready. you had asked your parents if she could come over but they had said no, claiming it was christmas and everyone should be with their family, including you. if only you actually talked to any of your family though. all of your cousins were children and the only one who was around your age, went to Mexico with her boyfriends family. that meant you had to either stick with your dad or your mom. both things sounded boring.
considering it was almost time for her to leave, you figured it was time to give her, her present. when she first arrived you exchanged presents but you had another one that you knew she'd love even more. she had gifted you a necklace with her initial on it, something you had been hinting at wanting since she gave you that hickey during the halloween party. after that night, it was as if neither of you could get enough. every time the mark would fade she'd make new ones. it would always result in your friends teasing you but it was with it. but like expected, your parents saw them when you had gotten in your hot tub. you had completely forgotten about it and didn't apply makeup like you always would. after that they said they wanted to meet your girlfriend. that was a very awkward dinner. your mom had made a 'sly' comment about how hickeys are tacky which left Shauna embarrassed. you hated that. she didn't even try to leave one after that day which would always leave you craving something to show that you were hers. it was soon after that in which you mentioned the necklace.
when you sat up, her arm fell from your waist. she looked at you confused, not expecting you to get up so abruptly. you moved across the room quickly and rummaged your desk until you finally found it. you quickly grabbed it and held it in the air as you turned your body in one swift motion. Shauna looked at you with wide eyes as, a smile playing on her lips at your excited state.
"i have one more present for you" were your words as you got back on the bed on your knees. you shuffled toward the brunette as fast as possible and handed it to her once you were close enough.
the brunette frowned gently, "i thought we said one present each" she said, now upset that she had only gotten you one whilst you had gotten her two.
with a shake of your head you looked down at the wrapped object. "it didn't cost me anything. it's just a small thing that i figured you'd like" you shrugged.
she looked a little hesitant but once she saw how hopeful you looked, her frowned turned into a smile once more and she began to unwrap it. considering how small it was, it didn't take long for the red and white wrapping to be crumbled into a ball on the bed. she looked confused at first as she looked at the cassette until she saw the words written on it. 'when i think of you -y/n'
her big brown eyes looked shiny as she looked down at it with her lips slightly parted in shock. suddenly her body came whirling towards you as she wrapped her arms around your body. she leaned back for a quick moment to kiss you softly before she leaned into the hug once more. you giggled softly at her actions. "those are the songs i always listen to what i think of you. which is always by the way." you said. even though it sounded as if you were joking, you weren't.

"Why are you ginger?!" Some of them exclaimed at the unison.
Shauna rolls her eyes, blushing a little. "I lost a bet." She just said, letting her suitcase on the floor.
Jackie bit her smile, knowing the reason, after all it was a bet between them. The blonde crossed her arms and sat down, the salt on her hair wavering her locks. Shauna glares at her, giving her a sarcastic look.
"Okay. You can change upstairs, you staying with Y/N. Right corner, second door." Lottie informed her, eyeing the pair of friends discreetly.
They all have an entire week in Charlotte's beach house in Lake Key, a big house for all of them. A paradise they can enjoy.
Shauna hummed, scanning the living room and not seeing the mentioned one there, assuming she is upstairs or out in the pool with the rest. She is grateful to have Y/N like a roomie, she is the most tidy of all their friends. The -now- ginger girl changed into a bikini, grabbing her sunscreen, book and going downstairs.
The heat hit her body when she walked in the back garden, her friends having fun in the pool or laying on the grass chatting. Shauna laid a towel next to Taissa in the grass, depositing her things there and throwing herself in the pool, purposely doing it and smirking when they gasp and call her name.
"Shauna!" Y/N exclaimed happily, swimming towards her. "You look beautiful." She innocently said.
If this compliment came from one of her other friends, she would probably show her middle finger. But it's Y/N, the unique innocence of the group, Laura Lee left behind that adjective a long time ago.
"Thanks." Shauna muttered, clearing her throat and reciprocating the hug.
Y/N giggles, separating from the embrace but remaining close. "How's college?"
"Good! Stressing but really good. How about you? I heard you struggled at first." Shauna asks, rubbing the drops from her eyes.
"Yeah... Van went there a few days. I know, I'm like a child. But I spent years seeing your faces and then I didn't." Y/N explained, shrugging.
Shauna gives her a lipped smile. She struggled the first weeks too, used to see them, hang out and play soccer. "I don't think so. I understand what you mean." She shrugs too.
A splash interrupted their conversation, moving their faces to the side avoiding the water hit their faces. Another trail of curses from the ones sunbathing were heard, Natalie and Van ignored them with big smirks on their faces.
"Y/N, Jackie wanted you to go with her." Van commented.
Shauna saw how Y/N bit her lip but nod nonetheless, waving at them and walking out from the pool.
"Poor Y/N. Jackie is trying to corrupt her." Natalie hummed at Shauna, her eyes focused on the mentioned.
"Why?" Shauna asks, following her gaze. Jackie held Y/N's hand and went into the house, Lottie following behind.
"She said 'Y/N needs to wake up and have fun'." Van replied, imitating Jackie's voice. "Usually Lottie keeps an eye on Jackie, just in case." The redhead explains.
Shauna rolls her eyes, so typical of Jackie. However she could understand why, the blonde doesn't want people to mess with Y/N and maybe she has in mind this summer to make her less innocent.
The rest of the day Shauna inverted to catch time with her friends and finish the book she was reading this past day. When Jackie and Y/N returned, the first one had a mischievous smirk on her lips, a pallid Y/N travelled behind with Lottie wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"Where were you guys?" Taissa is the first to ask.
"Discovering the world." Jackie mysteriously said, sitting in a chair and quitting her big black t-shirt, showing her soft orange bikini.
They all frowned by her answer. "I'm afraid to ask... But what did you do to her?" Natalie asks, throwing the uno cards on the towel, piercing her blue eyes on Jackie Taylor.
"Show them." Jackie says at Y/N, smiling reassuringly at her. "It was part of the bet." She shrugs her shoulders.
Lottie put herself in front of Y/N, clearly seeing the struggles on her face and deciding to put a stop. "Enough Jackie. She did it, let her be comfortable."
Shauna squinted her eyes when heard Jackie said bet. Internally she rolled her eyes, what have Jackie with bets? And why does her opponent always lose?
Y/N gave Lottie a grateful look and went to sit down away from Jackie, it needed to be something big when Y/N did it. Van muttered something and stepped towards Y/N, bringing a chair with themselves and sitting next to her. Shauna kept an eye on them while Natalie and Taissa tried to worm out what she did to her.
"It's sexy." Jackie was the only thing she said before walking in again, muttering something about starting to fix up to party up.
Taissa ran after her, the group dissolving slowly to follow Jackie's steps. Shauna waited for Y/N and Van to join her when she stood up and they walked towards her direction.
The three walked in and Van disappeared to the left once they were upstairs, making Y/N and Shauna snort when they commented something about waiting an hour for Taissa to be ready.
"It's a good thing that we have our own bathroom in our bedrooms." Shauna commented, opening the door to their shared bedroom. Y/N hummed behind her, her brown eyes catches her red eyes and the dry cheeks. "Do you want to go shower first?" She offers, letting her things on her bed next to the window.
"No, you can go first. I'm going to see what I can wear." Y/N gave her a smile, going to the closet and opening it.
Shauna muttered okay and grabbed some comfortable clothes, disappearing in the fancy bathroom. She doesn't get too late there, putting her clothes on quickly and brushing her hair while coming back to the bedroom.
"All yours." She said at Y/N, seeing her sitting on her bed and watching outside hugging her knees.
"Those jeans stand out your ass." Y/N giggling said when Shauna gave her back at her. Shauna blushed, letting her brush on her bed. "Shit, it made you feel uncomfortable? I don't say it it's like a bad thing." Y/N rants out, standing up and explaining with her hands.
The compliment deepens her blush, the burn on cheeks worsen it. "It's okay, Y/N. You should shower up, I don't want to hear Natalie bark out later." She avoided it, chuckling nervously by her own comment.
Y/N nods, grabbing her clothes and going in. While Shauna waits for Y/N, she decides to put her clothes in her part of the closet. She was the last to approach there, the others coming two days earlier. She finished and Y/N didn't come out, she is really taking so long.
"I'm ready! Sorry to take so long." Y/N opened the door and came out with a summer yellow and white dress, her burn cheeks framing her beauty. She let out a giggle while putting her earrings when saw Shauna looking at her with her jaw dropped, her brown eyes looking her up and down. "I'm that bad?" She briefly pouts, looking at her dress.
Shauna shakes her head, clearing her throat. "N-No!" She stammered, closing her eyes momentarily. "You look beautiful, Y/N! I just..." Shauna thinks hard for something else to say, her blush intensifying. "You look great." She said poorly, biting her lower lip cursing herself in her mind.
Y/N let out a grin, happily to hear her friend compliment her. "I'm grabbing my purse and we can go down." She let her brush on her bed, just like Shauna and do what she said.
When they approached the living room, some whistling from their friends were heard. "Damn, Y/N! You look hot." Natalie says lowly, eyeing Y/N.
Laura Lee let out a chuckle and pinched Y/N's cheeks. "Stop, Nat! She is blushing." The blonde kindly says, rubbing her hand up and down on her back. "But she is right." She whispered in her ear, however Shauna heard her, making her jaw clenched.
"Thank you girls." Y/N shyly said, side hugging Laura Lee and later Natalie, intertwining her arm with hers.
"Woah! You worked on that ass." Van shocked said, stepping next to her and their jaw dropped when her blue eyes met Y/N's figure. "I died and I went to heaven?"
Shauna shakes her head with a small smile while the others laugh. Their laughter intensified when someone else cleared her throat behind them, a smug Taissa was there with her arms crossed about her chest, raising an eyebrow.
"And you come back to actually die." Natalie smugly said. Van rolled their eyes, glaring at her. The dyed blonde put her hands in the air, but her smirk remains.
"Look at her." Van leaned on Taissa and whispered, signaling with their head towards Y/N.
Taissa rolled her eyes and stepped down, going to the kitchen winking at Y/N when passed by her side, Y/N gave her a sheepish smile and Van trailed behind her.
"Damn, girl!" A raspy voice said behind Shauna, smacking her ass.
"Jackie!" Shauna hissed. However Jackie chuckles to stop abruptly when step next to her, her doe eyes focusing on Y/N.
Lottie passed them and winked at Y/N, making a gesture with her hands at her. "We are going out now!" She hummed, going to the front door.
Natalie made a signal with her hands, stopping them. "We need to check on her all night. I'm not letting any dude rub her up."
"Who?" Y/N asks, confused.
They all looked at each other.
•••
"My head hurts..." Jackie muttered when she got downstairs, sitting in the bar stool next to Shauna and leaning her head on her shoulder, a brief pout on her face.
Shauna snorted, but that simple sound made her flinch, Jackie too. Last night all of them had fun, well, not all of them, they made a bet (yes, other) and Laura Lee lost, meaning that she needed to take care of them (Y/N).
"Be quiet, Shauna." Jackie groaned.
Taissa sat down with a water bottle next to the pair, Van offering to make the lunch that day, since surprisingly they barely drank last night. Lottie offered to help the redhead, but Van pushed her next to Taissa and declined her offer with a gentle smile, making the three people sitting there release a relief breath.
"Where are the others?" Jackie raised her head on Shauna's shoulder, her eyes half open looking at Lottie and Taissa.
Taissa shrugged. "I just came down."
"Nat is asleep. Laura Lee and Y/N are in the pool." Lottie informed them in a low voice, leaning her head in her hand tiredly.
Jackie hummed just in time when Y/N came inside giggling with Laura Lee flying behind her with a grin.
"That smells good, Van. Do you need some help?" Y/N kindly asks, giving a smile to her friends there. Jackie called her with her hands, once Y/N approached Jackie and sat her down on her lap.
"Actually, yes please. Can you cut the vegetables?" The redhead requested her.
Y/N agreed, fighting with Jackie to release her. "Jackie! I need help Van." She said giggling.
"A kiss and I leave you." The blonde demanded, making Shauna roll her eyes.
Y/N didn't think about it too much, kissing her cheek a few times. Jackie unwrapped both arms from her body content when Y/N did what she asked.
Laura Lee sat down next to Lottie, massaging her shoulders with a smile. Shauna gazes at them, curious. Lately, she noticed how those two spent more time together, maybe the fact that they are going to the same college has something to do with it. It's not like Lottie and Laura didn't get along in the past, the brunette spent an amount of time defending Laura Lee from bullies.
Shauna decided to help too, letting a whining Jackie sit alone. She put on the cutlery and offered to wake up Natalie when the food was ready. The lunch passed without too much energy from half of them, the only conversation heard was between Laura Lee, Van and Y/N. Once they are done, Lottie shoves them out and cleans the dirty dishes, but a stubborn Natalie stays and helps her.
"You two put sunscreen on!" Jackie threw at Shauna and Y/N two bottles of it. "I don't want you two to get serious damage for not taking care of your skin." The blonde sternly said.
Shauna opened an eye and saw her stern look on her. She doesn't bother Y/N doing it, because she knows that Y/N is putting sunscreen. She rolled her eyes and opened the top, putting some cream on her burned cheeks.
"Don't forget the rest of your body." Jackie sarcastically said with a smile before she lay down on her towel, next to Shauna.
Y/N gave her a funny look, holding her laugh. Shauna pokes her tongue out, throwing the sunscreen at her when she finishes.
"Jackie! Shauna threw the sunscreen at me." Y/N childish said, laughing when Shauna gave her an offended look.
Jackie gazed at Shauna with a suspicious look, but holding a laugh for Y/N's behaviour.
"I thought she wanted it." Shauna made an excuse, biting her lip. She shrugs her shoulders, waiting for Jackie to look away and give Y/N a warning look, standing up and running after her. She caught her quickly, Y/N was still laughing between her arms. "You regret it." She muttered, throwing Y/N into the pool with a smirk.
A scream fell from her mouth but she was cut when Shauna threw her in the pool. "Shauna!" She exclaimed, wiping her eyes. Shauna has an amused smirk painted on her lips.
"What happened?" Van came, a hawaiian shirt on.
"Van! she threw me here because she can't be an adult." Y/N pointed with a finger at Shauna.
The brunette gasped. "Me!? What about you? You can't be an adult." Shauna exclaimed indignantly, looking at Van, who has an amused smirk on their face, annoying Shauna more.
Van bit their lip and wink to Y/N. Shauna saw it and gasped offended. The redhead pushes her once she stays looking at Y/N. "Sorry, Shauna. I tripped." They feigned regret, but their blue eyes lit with mischief.
"Van." Shauna hissed, scowling next to Y/N, who is laughing by her side.
Y/N wrapped her arms around her shoulder and hugged her. However Shauna nudged her rib, but she missed and nudged her boob, making Y/N let out a pain sound.
"Are you okay?" Shauna gazes at her with worry, seeing the pain on her face. "I don't want to hit that zone..."
"I'm fine." Y/N breath out, putting a hand on her chest.
Shauna notices something when her eyes fall to her chest unconsciously. "Do you have a piercing?" She asks incredulously. All of the people who can wear it, Y/N is not one of them.
Y/N blushed and looked briefly at Van. This one wears a worried expression, not hearing Shauna question. "Yes... I did yesterday."
The ginger opened her eyes and mouth. An idea popping in her mind. "Wait... That's why you all disappeared?" Y/N nodded, still with a hand on her chest.
"I'm going inside." Y/N whispered, going out of the pool and after wrapping a towel around her, she got inside. Shauna felt a little bad, even if she didn't want to give that hit intentionally.
Van patted her back and muttered a reassuring word. When minutes passed and Y/N didn't come out, Shauna decided to check on her. She walked towards their shared bedroom, finding it empty but the bathroom's door closed. She knocked a few times and called her name.
"You can come in." Y/N said.
Shauna opened the door and stopped on her tracks when saw Y/N topless, a red shadow covering her cheeks. "Is it okay?" She asks in a low voice, avoiding her naked chest.
"I think so. It has a red mark but nothing serious." Y/N explained.
Her brown eyes fell to her chest, a metal piercing on her left boob. It seems a little inflamed around the nipple, but that's all. She saw how Y/N put on some cream there.
"It hurt you?" Shauna whispered.
Y/N raised her head and saw a sad expression on her face, her half wet ginger hair covering part of her cheeks, her brown eyes showing more of the colour.
"Don't worry, Shawn. I'm fine." Y/N reassuringly said, giving a smile.
Shauna rolled her eyes. "Don't call me that." She said in a hushed tone. She hates that they call her with that name. She removed her hair from her vision and walked out, sitting on her bed and waited for Y/N to finish.
Y/N came out and sat down on her bed, now with her purple bikini on. Shauna gazes at her, every gesture silently. She wanted to ask some questions, but she doesn't want to overstep. The other raised her eyes to her and watched her expression, standing up and stepping towards her.
"Don't think about it. Let's go out." She grabs her hand and pulls her up. Shauna gave her a lipped smile, wrapping an arm around her waist.
"It's kinda hot." She murmurs, suppressing a laugh when Y/N turns to look at her with raised eyebrows. "I'm surprised you did it. You can use it against Nat when she tells you you need to loosen up." She said joking.
"I will keep it in mind." Y/N said with a thinking face.
•••
That evening they decided to go sightseeing in the small town. Shauna and Jackie split up from their friends and went by their count, sharing the last news on their lives since they are going to different colleges.
Shauna licks her chocolate ice cream, walking by the promenade. Jackie ranting by her side eating her vanilla ice cream.
"That's Y/N?" Jackie interrupted, her eyes focusing in the distance. Shauna followed her eyes and saw not far away Y/N sitting in a bench with Taissa braiding her hair.
They walked towards the pair, waving to an enthusiastic Y/N waving at them. Jackie grabbed her chin and pecked her cheek, offering her ice cream at her.
"No, thank you."
Shauna sat down next to her, Jackie sat down on her lap. She is not bothered by it, actually she is used to this gesture. She remembers when Y/N told her about the bet before and leaned on her ear, muttering something about the piercing. Jackie looks at her with that innocent doe eyes, shrugging.
Y/N has a few strands of hair braided, thanks to Taissa. Shauna's glued on Y/N's profile while the other three started a conversation, she decided to listen to them. This time, Y/N had her cheeks burned from the other day, thanks to Jackie it kept at bay. Her grin warming her chest with every reply Y/N made, always with illusion or loving explaining something at them that they don't know. It doesn't matter how dumb the question is, Y/N never would reply with a bad word.
"Nat and Van went to that pub." Taissa informed them once she finished braid Y/N's hair.
"I want to go to Marco's library." Y/N says, standing up and walking towards the place without receiving a reply from them.
Shauna muttered at them that she goes with Y/N, wanting some new books too. Jackie nodded more relaxed this time. It's funny, the only one challenging Y/N to wake up and she is the first worried about her going alone. The ginger steps quickly to Y/N side, throwing the napkin in the trash.
They walked in, Y/N walking mindlessly through the shelves of books until she reached her destination, romantic novels. Shauna bit the inside of her cheek and wandered to the horror one, the smell of lavender mixed with cinnamon relaxing her.
When Shauna grabbed a book to read the inside cover, to the other side was Y/N with a few books on her hands, a brief frown on her eyebrows. She didn't know why that simple sight made Shauna's heartbeat accelerate. It's the contrast of the white dress with her sun kissed skin, eyes' colour accentuating, plump lips, long eyelashes, or her cute braids on her salt hair? She can't put a finger on it, but feeling attracted to Y/N, it definitely wasn't on her plans for that summer.
"Do you see something interesting?" Lottie startled her, giving a little jump on her spot.
"You scared me." Shauna muttered, glaring at her.
Lottie apologizes, a smirk on her lips. The tall brunette wandered between the shelves, a few books in a hand. Shauna grabbed the book she wanted to read from the past month and followed Lottie, who now is with Y/N.
"I don't know, Lot. I want this, but maybe I could buy it next time." Y/N said, letting saying book again on their place.
She walked to the cash register, Shauna bit her lip and quit off from Lottie's hands the book Y/N left behind a few moments.
"Are you sure?" Lottie asked behind her. However Shauna ignored her and positioned herself behind Y/N to pay.
Once their visit to Lake Key was over, they decided to make dinner and stay there to party, gathering in the living room in a circle. Natalie prepared them their drinks, slowly sipping on it while they chatted.
Until Jackie cleared her throat. "Guys! I want to play a game. What about a simple one, truth or dare?" She proposed, giving a big sip from her ron with coke.
After bickering for a while, they agreed.
"Okay. You go first." Natalie points with her finger at Jackie.
The blonde shrugs, agreeing with it. She chose dare, and Natalie made her swim naked in the pool. Jackie accepted and quit off her clothes while walking outside, their friends laughing with her.
"Alright! I did it, it's my turn to choose." Jackie says with a towel around her body and sitting on the floor. A smirk on her face. "I chose Y/N."
And it made sense for all of them, -less Y/N- why Jackie wanted to play it.
"It's simple. Go to my bedroom and on top of my bed you find what you need to do." Jackie indicated when Y/N chose dare.
Shauna gave her a questioning look, but Jackie ignored her with the same smirk plastered the whole time. They waited a few minutes there waiting for Y/N to come back, chatting animatedly.
Y/N came back, however she changed her clothes. Now she is wearing a red bikini, but a short cover of the full piece. Her demeanor turned shy, chewing her lip nervously.
"Show us!" Jackie exclaimed, clapping with her hands excited.
The silence made in the room once Y/N took off her shorts, turning on heels to them to appreciate the small piece of clothes. Shauna opened her mouth, her pupils dilating from the sight in front of her. She gave a big sip from her drink when felt her mouth dry, the first to speak was Jackie.
"Nice ass, girl!" She cheered her.
Natalie licked her lips, still processing how hot her friend looks. She looked around her, their faces one by one and less Jackie, all of them seemed affected by it.
"That's a dare?" Natalie muttered, trying to play cool.
Jackie glares at her, crossing her arms. "Yes. For Y/N is a good dare, shut up."
"I agree." Van lowly said, their blue eyes dilated and their freckles hiding by a shadow of pink on their cheeks.
"Wait... Is that a piercing?" Taissa frowned, noticing it when her eyes landed on Y/N's chest.
Shauna moves a little uncomfortable, their reactions were immediate, well from the three ones who don't know. Inevitably her eyes fell on Y/N's ass, the heat sprayed inside her body. She made a messy bun, hearing their friends reactions.
"Van knew it." Taissa spoke again, noticing the lack of participation on this.
The redhead guilty shrugged. "I did. She told me the other day."
Y/N put on her shorts again and sat down where she was before, between Lottie and Laura Lee.
The game ended quickly, moving to dance on the improvised dance floor in the living room or the back garden. Usually Shauna hates something related to parties, but these moments, where are her and her friends, she treasures them. Lottie and Laura Lee were talking on the couch, next to a Natalie affected by Y/N revelation, who was happily dancing with her. Shauna drinks in a bar stool while Jackie is making some snacks for them. Van and Taissa chat quietly in a corner with silly smiles on their faces.
Two hours later, Shauna flies behind a giggling Y/N to their shared room. They are the first ones to call it a night, Shauna feels a little relaxed but with her senses intact, while Y/N looks more intoxicated than her.
Once in their respective bed, Shauna hears how her friend can't stop moving. "What's the problem?" She rasped out, her eyes looking in her direction in vain, the darkness didn't let her see properly.
"It sting a little..." Y/N slurred out.
Shauna frowned, but soon understood what she meant. "Then, quit it off." She suggested.
A few seconds later she heard something dropping on the floor followed by a relief sigh. Shauna turned her head, and even if she couldn't see her, she could appreciate her silhouette and it made her jaw clench. Why? Why can't she see her properly why is it turning her on? Maybe it is because she knew about the piercing and it excited her? Shauna groans, now her turn to move on her bed, finding the room very hot right now.
She didn't know when she left herself asleep, but when Shauna opened her eyes, the sun hit directly on her face, the dizziness on her head didn't help at all. She grunts, with her eyes half opened and walks towards the bathroom, noticing the empty bed on her way there.
Shauna takes a short shower, even if she probably would throw herself in the pool, however she didn't want to smell sweaty. She put on her black bikini and put on an old grey sporty shorts and went downstairs, no one was there.
She checked the back garden and there was Y/N, having some breakfast. The girl noticed her and waved, calling with her hand to go there.
"I made breakfast for all, but I'm guessing they would wake up after lunch. That is soon..." Y/N poured coffee in a cup and offered it at Shauna.
"Thanks..." She kindly says, taking it and sitting next to her. She notices the book she bought for her last day, remembering with a smile how Y/N kissed her face and muttering how much she loves her. "You like it?"
"I love it! Amanda is so brave. I wish I could be like her." Y/N commented, biting her toast and continued to read.
"You are brave." Shauna lowly said, sipping from the cup and looking at her.
Y/N gifted her with a warm smile, putting a hand on her forearm. "You are nice. But I'm not. You are brave or Van. But not me."
Shauna frowned, not liking how Y/N talked about herself. "I wish I could see people like you. Or believe everyone is good." She states, grabbing the hand on her forearm between her hands. "You are not afraid of telling them how you feel. I remember when you fought with Jackie in the last year of high school because she mocked Arnold Phillips and you defended him. I was thrilled and she did too." She saw how her cheeks darkened. Shauna appreciates the little messy braids, it even looks better now, she mindlessly puts away a strand of hair, a fond smile when Y/N shrinks because it feels ticklish when her fingertips brushed her neck.
Shauna can't stop looking at her, her hand placing now on her back and caressing it carefully. She leaned on the table, getting closer to her. Y/N brought a hand to her cheek and brushed her thumb there, actually she wiped something there.
"Better." Y/N murmurs, her eyes meeting her brown ones. Shauna swallowed and slowly leaned on her, stopping when their noses brushed with each other. It surprises her when Y/N grabs her face between her hands and kisses her.
It's short but gentle. Shauna chases her a second later, not containing herself and introducing her tongue on Y/N's mouth, exploring and dominating. Her hands were placed on her hips in a firm grip, leaning her head aside to kiss her better. Their lungs burned, making them separate to catch air.
Shauna trailed kisses on her jaw, sneaking a hand under the yellowjackets' shirt she is wearing, caressing her skin. She stopped when Y/N let out a moan, her gaze finding her face.
"Stop looking at me like that... Your stare is deep." Y/N murmurs, looking somewhere else, avoiding her gaze.
The ginger bit her lip, kissing her cheek and separating from her. Bringing her hand out of her shirt and deciding to finish her breakfast.
"You are beautiful, it's not my fault." Shauna replied confidently.
"Shauna!" Y/N whined, making her laugh.
A grunt from behind made them look that direction, seeing a zombie Natalie stepping slowly towards them. She greeted them quietly, pouring an orange juice in a cup and grabbing a croissant.
"You look horrible." Y/N commented, Shauna held her laugh when Natalie glared at her.
"Sorry, miss perfect. Next time I guard you, then I can avoid being the next day like this." She ironically said, signaling herself.
Shauna closed her eyes, the sun kissing her exposed skin and luring her. Natalie commented on them what happened after they left, laughing when Jackie fell or Van hit their face with the glass window.
"Sunscreen." Someone said, something fell on Shauna's lap. The ginger opened her eyes and looked at it and the person who threw it, Charlotte Matthews. "You are matching your hair by now."
Y/N snorted, hiding her mouth with a hand. Lottie wink at her, grabbing some fruit. Shauna poked her finger on her neck and saw how she shrank, giggling and putting away her hand.
They all agreed to spend the day at the beach, to Y/N and Nat's idea. They swim, sunbathing while they relax and play volleyball. Shauna's mind was a spiral, thinking about the kiss she shared with her friend, a friend she thought never saw like something else. The best part? Shauna wants to kiss her again, and wrap her arms around her waist to be nearer her, maybe her hands sneaking to her ass and squeezing it, her lips trailing wet kisses on her neck while Y/N let out moans, like before, then-... Who's that guy? And why is he smirking at her in a flirty manner?
Shauna clenched her fist and stood up, stepping fast towards them and pushing that guy away from Y/N.
"Stay away from her." Shauna scowled with a fierce gaze, putting herself in front of Y/N.
"Shauna! He is a nice boy, stop." Y/N threw the volleyball's ball and helped the blonde guy up.
It infuriated Shauna. "He wants to get on your pants, Y/N!" She gritted, her brown eyes throwing daggers at the innocent blonde boy.
Of course when they went to the beach and Y/N decided to wear what Jackie gifted her last night, some stupid guy should approach.
Fuck Jackie and fuck that guy.
Shauna saw how Y/N removed her gaze from her, her cheeks turning a soft shadow of pink. She felt bad to speak to her like that, usually she would use other words.
"I'm talking with her. That's all, relax." He said in a gentle tone, raising both hands in the air. However Shauna knew better, years being Jackie's best friend teach her experience with the opposite gender. And that guy, wants something else than talking with Y/N.
Shauna gave a sarcastic smile, but before she could give a sardonic comment, Natalie showed up, Lottie behind her with Jackie.
"What happened?" Natalie asks looking at her friends, then her blue eyes notice the blonde guy, making her frown. "Who are you?"
Jackie puts herself next to Shauna, crossing her arms on her chest, while Lottie grabs Y/N's hand, bringing her with hers.
"I'm Neil, nice to meet you." He said, waving with a nervous smile. Shauna snorted mentally, he didn't look like that before.
"Hi, Neil." Natalie said in a fake nice voice, walking towards the tall guy, with every step letting a mark of humid footprint on the sand. "Stay away from her." She patted his shoulder with a low laugh, signaling towards Y/N. "I know the guys like you. Out."
Neil bit his lip, his eyes falling on Y/N. Then, he gave a quiet laugh, his demeanor changing completely. "You all can't be protecting her forever." He muttered, a smug smirk playing on his lips before he turned on his heels and walked out.
Jackie held Natalie's wrist, the same with Shauna. "Stop! That stupid is gone." She murmurs, pushing them both to where they are.
Shauna's eyes fell on Y/N, who is with Lottie. She left behind the bickering that Jackie and Natalie started and grabbed her wrist kindly, stopping their friends.
"Can I talk to you?" Shauna timid asks. Y/N nods slowly, Lottie let them some privacy walking back to her place on the towel. The ginger took her to the seashore, this time her hand intertwined with Y/N's one, playing with her fingers. "I'm sorry to say that." She started, looking at her surroundings. "I don't like the way he was looking at you and... I should let you choose if you want to talk with him or not." She finishes, knowing very well that she will interfere if some dude tries something with her.
Y/N caressed the palm of her hand with her thumb. "Are you jealous?" She hummed, stepping closer.
Shauna frowned, her gaze now on her smug eyes. "No. I'm not. I only... I want the best for you. That's all." She said, shrugging her shoulders.
Why does Y/N think she is jealous? I mean, Natalie acted like her too, is she jealous too? Shauna let out a scoff for this thought.
"I'm jealous." Y/N admitted in a calm tone.
This confession made her feel more confused. "Why?" She can't hide her stupor.
"I saw a few boys looking at you. Your ass. They eat you with his eyes. I don't like it." Y/N explained, her turn to shrug her shoulders.
Shauna relaxed. She didn't notice their eyes on her, thankfully. But she notices the only one on Y/N, and maybe, just maybe, Shauna felt the same.
"You don't need to worry. I'm not interested in them." Shauna whispers, letting her hand out but embracing her waist with an arm and hiding her head on her neck. She feels how Y/N relaxed on her arms and wrapped hers on her neck, playing with her hair.
"I want to kiss you..." Y/N shyly said, a lipped smile on her face when Shauna fixed her chocolate eyes on her.
"I can make an excuse and go home and kiss." Shauna offered, hearing how Y/N let out a melodic laugh, inevitably painting an involuntary smile on her face.
•••
It's been three days since Shauna and Y/N kissed for the first time. Three days that they can't stop kissing. They shared this affection where they are alone in their room, away from their friends or when they are around them, when they aren't looking Y/N stole a kiss from her lips, letting Shauna speechless.
A sigh hit Shauna's face when she separated from her bruised and red lips. Her fingers caressed her cheek and removed a strand of hair from her face, giggling softly while memorizing her features for later fantasizing with her or rant on her journal about how Y/N makes her feel.
They are laying on Shauna's bed, the rays of the full moon hitting Y/N's face, it's time like this Shauna doesn't hate that window. Y/N's hand is playing with her ginger hair, pulling at it every time Shauna bit her lip or sucked her tongue.
"Are you fine there?" Shauna hummed with a hoarse voice, brushing her nose with hers. She can avoid hiding her smugness.
They don't trespass to the other step. It's not like Shauna didn't think about it, it's mainly for Y/N, she didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable, so she happily accepts it.
"Here is hot..." She whispered, with a hand fan herself.
"The window is open." Shauna commented, looking briefly at the window.
"Shauna." Y/N calls her in a soft voice, the mentioned turned to look at her. "Do you feel attracted to me?" Shauna could appreciate how shy Y/N asked this.
"Y/N, I can't stop thinking about you. It's weird to say it loudly, but you are in my mind a lot." Shauna admitted, the burn on cheeks got a bay thanks to Jackie or Lottie to put sunscreen on. But she can feel the warmth on her cheeks just like if that same afternoon she burned all over again.
"You are in my mind too, Shippy. It's funny to think now how intimidated I felt about you in high school." Shauna frowned. Y/N saw her and immediately clarified. "You are hard to let people in, always attached to Jackie and I told you about it before, your gaze is so deep that I feared you could know what I'm thinking."
"That's why you nodded or gave me a short answer?" Shauna asks quietly, now understanding a few things. Y/N hummed an affirmative. "You are right, I don't let people know me easily. But I never would treat you or let anyone talk to you badly. I... We fought with some asshole to defend you. Don't ask and think about them, they are stupid." Shauna says quickly after her confession. "Why do you ask about me that...?" She tried to change the subject, also mostly for curiosity.
"I want to have sex with you." Shauna sometimes forgets how direct she is. Her blush deepens, gladly the dark hides her cheeks.
But it surprises her how natural she said it, and it made her think about it. "Have you had sex before?" She asks, it's the first time she actually thinks Y/N had sex before, she wondered about it but soon dismissed it.
Y/N nods, moving her head to a side. "Why you ask?" Shauna stares at her shocked, her mouth half open and holding her breath. Y/N roll her eyes, it didn't surprise her Shauna having that reaction, it's the same Van had when she told them. "I know that you all think I'm innocent, something I will not discuss... But I'm curious too."
"Sorry..." She apologised, breathing normally again. She blinked a few times, questions popping on her head. "Who? I mean, I know him?" She asks in a low voice.
"No, he is a college friend."
Shauna nods, laying fully by her side. She huffed, rubbing her eyes. "I need to ask it." She said, putting her hands down and fixing her eyes on her, seeing her curious eyes on her. "Did you do it because you wanted?"
"Yeah... I never would do something I don't want." This answer calmed Shauna, thankful Y/N didn't feel social pressure and did it for that.
"Can we go to sleep?" Shauna murmurs, feeling tired. Y/N hummed with a small smile, she kissed Shauna's cheek and proceeded to stand up, but the ginger stopped her, wrapping an arm now on her waist. "Stay here."
They fell asleep with Shauna hugging Y/N, many thoughts in her mind, dissipate when the other started to play with her hair, something Y/N likes and she didn't complain.
The next morning when they woke up and got downstairs, too quiet and finding a note in the fridge.
"We are at the beach, see you there. Jackie xx." Y/N read out loud. "And why didn't they wake up us? I would do it. You know what? I don't feel like going to the beach, if you want to go, have fun." She said in an adorable piss voice, in Shauna's opinion. She walked around and started to make breakfast.
"I like your idea. What do you want to do?" Shauna hummed, going to hug her from behind and kissing her shoulder.
Y/N looks up, thinking. "I want to go eat ice cream in Lake Key. Tomorrow we will get stuck here doing our suitcases and cleaning the house."
On Friday, they all would go to Wiskayok and finish the summer there before coming back to their respective colleges.
Shauna removed her hair aside, peppering kisses on her neck. "I like that." She just wants to spend some time alone with her before they come back.
So that's what they did. After finishing breakfast they changed their clothes and adventure to the small town. It's weird how freely they felt with every shared kiss without worry if someone saw them and judged. It helps that the only way is a solitary dirt road, nobody lives for that area, only the Matthews' family.
They let out their intertwined hands once they entered the town, exploring some places that they never went to before or just walking while laughing for anything. They agreed to eat the ice cream after lunch, for Shauna's luck because she made a little picnic, surprising Y/N.
It's the soft laugh that Y/N let out when Shauna awakened from her mind, too entrance on studying every feature, line and simple detail on Y/N's face that she zoned out. Shauna left the throwable plate on the grass, clearing her throat.
"Have a date with me." Shauna blurted out, mostly because she was rephrasing it in her mind and it slipped out. She blushes the moment she realizes how she asked this. Exchange Y/N raised her head and slowly formed a smile. "What I want to say is that... I thought about us, and I want to go on a proper date with you, if you want of course."
Y/N put her hand on top of hers. "I love to."
"Really?" Shauna asked, a little speechless. Y/N giggles by her reaction, nodding with her head. "You don't would regret it, I promise." She reassured her, carefully intertwining their fingers.
After they finished, Shauna stubbornly paid for their ice cream. They eat it while they walk towards the house, holding hands the moment they step out of the town. Laughs filled the way, ice cream kisses and rosy cheeks.
Shauna let her hand once they approached the fence, opening the doors and letting Y/N pass first. They come back and the house is still empty.
"I want to lay on the sofa, my feet hurt." Y/N commented, letting her bag on the coat stand and laying down in the black couch.
"Come here, I'll take you upstairs." Shauna offered, opening her arms for her to jump.
Y/N let out a delighted sound and jumped on her arms, wrapping her legs on her waist and both arms around her shoulders, leaning her head there too. Shauna held her and walked towards their bedroom, laying Y/N on her bed carefully and getting on top of her when Y/N grabbed her t-shirt and pulled Shauna towards hers.
With only a look, Shauna knew what Y/N wanted. She wants it too, if she is being honest, but what happens if their friends come and surprise them by doing it?
"Are you sure?" Shauna asks in a gentle whisper, her hair coming to her eyes and private to her to keep gazing Y/N, until this one removes with her fingers the strand of hair out. Her hands are too busy supporting her weight on the mattress.
"Very sure." Y/N whispered back, closing the distance and smashing her lips on hers.
Shauna let out a low moan, reciprocating it and soon turning in a hungry kiss. A hand sneaks under her baby blue shirt, slowly tracing her abdomen until reach her chest, squeezing with the bra on, feeling the piercing there. She grunted on the kiss when she felt it, breaking the kiss and taking off her shirt, delighted by the views.
Y/N pulls Shauna's shirt, making the ginger to raise her arms up, letting Y/N take it out. Her brown eyes admired how Y/N held her breath when her gaze met her abdomen, a smirk creeping on her face. A finger traced her stomach, gently scratching her abs.
"I think we have some weaknesses..." Shauna rasped out, chuckling.
"You kept playing soccer?"
Shauna nods. "Yeah. Casually my first friends played soccer and they created a team, like a hobby. I don't mind play there sometime." She explains.
Y/N's fingers get lost on her hair, pressing her head towards hers and starting another kiss. They slowly took out their clothes, Shauna's mouth went immediately on Y/N's chest, no resistance anymore and took her left nipple on her mouth, biting there and tasting the metal too, gaining a whimper by Y/N and her nails digging on her shoulders.
Shauna spent a long time there, when she got satisfied, admiring the new red marks and saliva covered on Y/N's chest, with her red lips peppered wet kisses until reach her mouth, giving her a languid kiss.
After they need to breathe again, Shauna takes advantage when Y/N still has her eyes closed and slowly sneaks her right hand between her thighs, soon meeting how wet Y/N is between her fingers. The ginger let out a groan, her dilated brown eyes catching sight of -now half open- Y/N's eyes and reddened cheeks. While they keep gazing at each other, her hand meets Y/N's entrance and without warning introducing a finger, grunting when she notices how tight she is.
Her nails digged on her shoulders once again, making Shauna let out a hiss of pain. A soft sound escaped from Y/N's mouth, once she felt comfortable with her finger inside of her, Shauna started to move it slowly while her thumb rubbed circles, creating more sounds slipping from her mouth, making Shauna drunk hearing them.
Another finger was introduced, her movements becoming faster and the first moans echoing in the room. Shauna involuntarily starts to move her hips in search of some friction, the wetness on her center increasing. The sweat on their bodies is more present, their hair stinging on their faces, framing their faces in a sexy form. With three fingers inside Y/N, her orgasm is near.
Shauna gave her a wet kiss, unable to control. Y/N came on her fingers, muffling her orgasm in her mouth. Their chest moved in sync, their lungs asking for air. The ginger took her hand out of her, the free one on top of Y/N's knee while slowly, her right one approaches her vision, the smell hitting her nose. After a few seconds where her eyes stuck looking at her hand, she took it to her mouth, a porn sound slipped from her mouth the moment her fingers met her tongue, testing Y/N. Her eyes rolled behind her head, her tongue wrapping her fingers and sucking slowly, testing every fluid.
When she opened them again, was met by hypnotised eyes gazing at her, biting her lip. Shauna let out a small smirk, putting down her now clean hand. Before she could make a comment, Y/N changed their positions, now Shauna is laying her back on the mattress and Y/N is straddling her. Shauna put both hands on her knees, caressing them, gazing at Y/N from a new angle. Her eyes fell from her marked chest to her half hidden shaved pussy, meeting her stomach side.
"Promise me something." Y/N said in a scratchy voice, calling her attention.
Shauna nods, captivated by her beauty. "Anything."
Y/N gave her a small grin, leaning her head to the same level as her, lowering it a few centimeters. "Don't dye your hair. I love how this colour looks on you... It matches your eyes, making them have a deeper look, if that is possible..." She ranted, admiring her ginger hair sprayed out on the pillow in soft waves. "You look good too with your natural colour hair, but this one... I really like it." She finishes in a low voice.
"I promise you that I will have it for a long time from now on." Shauna said with a cheeky smile, knowing very well that she would be stuck with that hair colour only for her. Then, she put a hand on her back neck and pushed her face towards hers, sealing the promise with a passionate kiss.
When Y/N moved her hips involuntarily, Shauna felt a patch of wetness on her abdomen, and groaning by this, she took both hands on her waist in a firm grip, probably letting some bruises there, and slowly pushed her a little, making friction on her sensitive spot.
"Can I...?" Y/N whispered, timid.
Shauna removed her hair from her face and nodded, after all she incite to do it. "You can ride my abs." She said in a deep voice, hearing the strong breathing falling from her lover's lips.
And she did it, up and down, at first with slow movements. It will become faster soon, Shauna is delighted by the sight in front of her. She clenched her abs when noticed Y/N was coming, with her head back and both hands on Shauna's sides. Y/N gave a final thrust, screaming for pleasure and falling on top of her, exhausted.
Shauna caressed her back tenderly, feeling a warm liquid fell on her stomach. She swallowed hard, she felt a little frustrated sexually talking. Shauna thought that watching Y/N had her pleasure, she didn't need it now, but... She is wrong. She let Y/N recover her breath, playing with her hair without the necessity to use words.
Y/N hummed contents, peppering kisses on her naked shoulder until her neck, biting gently there, gaining a low moan from Shauna. Her nails scratched Y/N's thigh, a loud hiss slipped from their mouths. Shauna observed when Y/N slowly started to go down, she paid attention to her chest, but not staying too much time there, preferring to bite her stomach a few times.
"I'm not shave..." Shauna said panting, a little embarrassed. Y/N raised her head frowning, seeing how Shauna closed her eyes, her cheeks turning more red.
"I don't care, Shippy." Y/N snorted innocent. It made Shauna open her eyes, seeing a brief frown on Y/N's eyebrows. "And I think if you shave now, you would cut yourself." She said looking down, the face she put on made Shauna relax and chuckle.
Y/N bit her lip and looked at Shauna, asking with her eyes. The ginger nods, her breathing stuck on her throat, but not keeping her eyes away from her. Y/N give her some wet mouthed kisses on her thigh, getting closer. Shauna opened her legs more to let Y/N put herself between knees, and her mouth immediately met her center, giving a long lick. Shauna let out a moan, biting her lip and scratching the pillow next to her. She can feel Y/N's nails on her thighs, her tongue getting deep inside her and recollecting the wetness she had from seeing Y/N cum two times.
A hand squeezed her chest, hard. If the moment doesn't require her to think, she would ask how in hell Y/N is doing it so well. Shauna is close, she is worked up and her orgasm is approaching, with hand on Y/N's head, pressing her face on the exact part where she wants and with the room filling her moans, Shauna released on her mouth with a guttural moan, her legs shaking.
With half open eyes and an irregular breathing, Shauna saw Y/N's chin covered by her cum, her hair mess and sweat covering her body. She raised half of her body and grabbed her face between her hands, kissing hard.
"SHAUNA, Y/N! ARE YOU TWO HERE?" Jackie interrupted them. They shared a panicked look and soon they started to put on their clothes. For their luck Jackie was downstairs, at least they could be dissimulate, only if the blonde didn't get upstairs and entered there, then they screwed up.
"Go to the bathroom!" Shauna said in a low voice, putting on her big shirt. "I'm going to distract her. Get down for around 5 minutes." She explains, putting her hair in a messy bun.
Y/N nods, disappearing on say place.
Shauna stepped down and saw her friends there, embarrassed she waved them with a hand. "Hey, Y/N is in the bathroom." She cleared her throat, avoiding Jackie's hazel eyes and going to the kitchen for water, because she really needed it.
Jackie hummed, following her. "We were worried. I thought you two would come."
"Y/N didn't like you don't wake us up and we went to the town." She explains, shrugging and giving her an apologetic lipped smile.
"I told you..." Van walked next to Jackie and sang, letting some things on top of the countertop.
"Y/N! ARE YOU MAD AT ME?" Another person would wait to ask this face to face, but it's Jackie and she went to the top of the staircase, looking up to an empty hall.
"NOT ANYMORE!" Another scream was heard, Shauna shaking her head with a smirk while sip from the cup.
"DO YOU WANT TO COME TO THE MOVIES WITH ME AND I COMPENSATE YOU?" Jackie asked hopefully, even if her told her that she wasn't mad at her.
Y/N approaches her vision, she took a shower and now has a lilac top belonging to Shauna with a black shorts, a small smile resting on her lips. "Okay. I missed our dates." She can't resist and hugs Jackie.
"She is so weak. We need to make her stronger." Van commented with a frown, looking at them.
Shauna snorted. "Which one?"
•••
Summer passed faster, and Shauna knew it.
With dreamy eyes and a silly smile, she recounted every date she had with Y/N these past two months, her favourite one was when she asked Y/N to be her girlfriend and she said no because Y/N wanted to ask her to be her girlfriend. After discussing it for a few minutes, Shauna gave up the moment Y/N gave her puppy eyes.
She sneaked every night to Y/N's house, going to sleep together and fearing she couldn't do it the moment they couldn't hold each other when they came back to their respective colleges. Many hidden kisses, desire to do what they did that week in her friend's house, but they gave up every time they tried, and something or someone interrupted them, so they happily did other things.
Like talk. They can talk for hours. It's something that Shauna adored about their night laying on the bed, talking about anything in particular or knowing Y/N unknown's side. She comprehends her better, and mentally grateful for choosing her to share her secrets, her dream passion or just to not run away from her with her weird persona.
About their friends, well... They agreed to not tell them anything. Y/N commented at Shauna about telling them their relationship at the end of the summer, only if she wants too. Shauna nodded, unsure. She wishes that she was more like Y/N in that aspect, not fearing what people could say, and less with her friends, the ginger knew that they can't say anything bad. But they are in 1997, and until this date, Shauna saw hate about it.
"What are you thinking about?" Y/N interrupted her thoughts, balancing their hands while they walked to Shauna's car. They went to the woods to walk, enjoying some time alone. The night arrived and the hour to the meeting with their friends was approaching. Because they would tell them about their relationship.
"About... How beautiful you are." Shauna commented, holding her laugh when Y/N shoved her playful.
The nights in Wiskayok by this time of the year usually are breezy, and Shauna wears one of her famous flannel on, Y/N was wearing one of hers too because she was stubborn to not grab any jackets and luckily Shauna had one in her car.
The car approached their vision, Shauna wrapped an arm around Y/N's shoulders and gently opened the copilot door, gaining a kiss on her cheek the moment she sat down on her seat.
"We need to pick up Jackie." Y/N commented, searching for some songs she likes on the radio.
"Believe me, I know." Shauna rolled her eyes, used to her friend's princess side.
The ride to Jackie's home was filled with Y/N humming the song playing on the radio, Shauna tapped the wheel to the beat of the song, humming quietly too. She honked a few times when they arrived, praying that Jackie doesn't take too long.
Shauna put a hand on Y/N's knee, caressing the exposed skin with her thumb. Her brown eyes softened seeing her profile, her mind calming down the spiral that usually she is in.
"You sure about this?" The ginger, less now, but still glowing, asked. Y/N put a hand on hers and nod with a smile.
"Yeah. I want to kiss you in front of my friends. Our friends." Y/N whispered, playing with her fingers.
Shauna can't hold the smile anymore. "And I want to kiss you every hour... Is this sane?" She joked, leaning to kiss her cheek.
Y/N shakes her head, giggling.
Shauna removed her hand when she heard a door opening. She looked behind and saw Jackie Taylor get in, shivering a little and she had a jacket on.
"Put on the calefaction, Shauna." Jackie said, closing the door.
"Hello to you too, and not. I'm not going to put it. It's not that cold." Shauna said, starting the car. She heard how Jackie let out a gasp.
"Open the right seat, there is a blanket." Y/N commented before they could get entangled by another silly discussion.
Jackie says loudly how much she loves her, making Y/N laugh and Shauna rolled her eyes. They are approaching Lottie's house, the last reunion until Thanksgiving. They decided to spend their time together in a quiet place, and since Lottie's parents are out the major part of the time, she offered to hold the little party.
"The last ones!" Van opened the front door, putting them to a side to let them pass in. Y/N is the first one to hug the redhead, from the whole gang, Van and Y/N had a special bond.
Y/N let Shauna, Jackie and Van behind and she adventure into the big living room, usually quiet and empty, now filled with laughter and life.
"There you are!" Lottie saw her and stood up with a happy smile, engulfing Y/N in a hug. "I'm gonna miss you a lot." She whispered when they separated.
"I hope you miss us a lot too..." Natalie commented behind her, a teasing smirk on her plump lips. Then, she envelopes Y/N in a hug.
Lottie rolled her eyes. "Don't get jealous, Scatorccio. I will miss you too, less than the rest but still I'm going to miss you." Her dark eyes lit with mischief, taking her red cup to her mouth.
Before Nat could reply back, Taissa interrupted them by pushing the blue eyed girl to a side and taking her turn to hug Y/N. Shauna and Jackie approached there and greeted them with hugs too.
They sit down next to each other, recounting old anecdotes or telling the new ones. Shauna was quiet, hearing them and sipping from her red cup while her eyes travelled to the storyteller. Y/N nudges her side, giving her a silly face when she turns to look at her.
"You are an idiot." Shauna leaned on her ear and whispered with a loving smile.
Y/N makes an offended face, putting a hand on her chest. Shauna rolls her eyes, but her smile remains.
"I will remind you later when you want to kiss me..." She whispered in her ear, licking her lips when she separated.
Her brown eyes opened, big and deep. Without noticing she gave her puppy eyes, not liking the idea of not kissing her. Y/N couldn't resist her eyes and without thinking too much, she grabbed her chin and pecked her lips.
Shauna froze on her seat, the place getting quiet and feeling all eyes on them. She cleared her throat, her surprise eyes going to normal but refusing to look at them. Y/N frowned when she paid attention to them, at first confused but soon realising what she did.
"Oh my god! Shit, I'm sorry Shippy." Y/N apologised with her girlfriend.
"Shippy? She hates that. This is serious." Van was the first to comment.
Shauna looks at her redhead friend, frowning. "She is the only one who can call like that." She warned them.
Y/N saw their unreadable expressions and decided to clarify. "We are in a relationship." She told them.
"Are you corrupting her!?" Jackie exclaimed, a shock expression plastered on her face.
"She's not! And you started corrupting me." Y/N said. "We like each other and decided to date. We wanted to tell you tonight, in a different manner... I hope it's okay with you guys." She said softly, playing with her fingers.
"Me and Taissa are in a relationship." Van said casually, Taissa nodded next to them.
"We are too..." Lottie comments, giving a soft look to the blonde.
Shauna opened her mouth, surprised and Y/N painted a small smile. "So, all of us like women? We are cool then." Jackie says, all looks on her now. "What? I appreciate women too." She said shrugging, taking her red cup to her lips.
"We knew that. We thought in high school that you and Shauna were dating. When we found that you didn't then we assumed during college maybe you get together." Natalie explained in an obvious tone.
"I agree." Y/N says, receiving an incredulous look from her girlfriend. "You look cute together if that helps."
"She corrupted me." Shauna said, looking at all of them. Y/N calls her name in a whine, while their friends laugh.
The rest of the night they enjoyed their time together, explaining the new unknown sides and all of them gave a talk to Shauna.
