it was 2 in the morning, and you tiptoed down the hallway, taking care not to wake anyone else in the house. the faint sound of snoring echoed through the walls, indicating that your parents were fast asleep. you reached jackie’s room and opened the door slowly, finding her lying on her bed, her back facing you.
as quietly as you could be, you swiftly slid under her covers, settling comfortably close to her and hugging her tightly by the waist, pulling her flush against you.
jackie jolted awake when you slipped into bed behind her, a soft gasp escaping her lips as you started to slowly kiss her jawline. her hands gripped the sheets tightly as the warmth of your body pressed against her. “i missed you so much today,” she breathed, trying to contain her excitement.
"i missed you too, jax," you whispered, pulling her impossibly closer to you as your lips started to kiss the soft skin on her neck.
she squirmed under your embrace, attempting to slide your hand between her legs. you could feel how wet she was through her shorts.
"please?" jackie whined, her hands grasping at your wrists, tugging gently. "i've been thinking about this all day..."
you sighed softly, unable to resist the desperation in her voice. slowly, you slipped your hand beneath the waistband of her shorts, feeling the heat radiating from her core. your fingers brushed gently against her damp folds, making her moan. her hips bucked wildly into your touch, seeking more pressure. with each brush of your fingers, her breath hitched, and her nails dug deeper into your arms.
"please– harder," she begged, her voice shaking. you followed her request, pressing slightly firmer against her swollen folds. the smell of her arousal consumed the small space between you both, mixing with the scent of her shampoo and perfume.
her breathing became ragged, sweat forming on her forehead. she was trembling, every inch of her begging for relief. you leaned over her, whispering into her ear, "does jeff make you feel this good?"
jackie's eyes widened, her cheeks flushing red at the mention of his name. she quickly denied it, shaking her head vehemently. "no, no, he doesn't. no one makes me feel this way except you," she whispered hoarsely, arching into your touch. "it's just always so rushed, he always wants to do it his way, never takes time for what i want or need," she admitted with a deep sigh.
your thumb brushed against her clit, eliciting a sharp whine from her. her head threw back against the pillow, and a soft cry escaped her lips. you smirked, knowing you had full control over her pleasure then.
"tell me what feels good," you insisted, your warm breath against her ear as your finger circled her sensitive spot.
"mmh… inside," she panted, grinding herself against your hand. "put your fingers inside me," she pleaded, begging for the release she desperately craved.
slowly, you inserted a finger into her wet entrance, coating it in her slickness. she groaned softly, shivering under your light thrusts. you added another finger, feeling how she stretched around them, slightly wider than before. her nails raked down your forearm, digging into your skin to keep herself grounded in reality.
"is that better, baby?" you asked, leaning down to kiss her temple.
"yes, yes, keep going," she insisted. you complied, increasing your pace to match her urgency. she rocked her hips, meeting your thrusts with her own movements. soon enough, you felt her muscles tightening around your fingers, her breath hitching as she reached her climax. her words turned into gibberish, a mix of your names and nonsensical phrases causing your heart to race.
as jackie caught her breath, you reached over to the nightstand where her vibrator was discreetly stashed inside her first cabinet. picking it up, you turned it on and handed it to her. recognition flickered in her eyes, her hand trembling as she accepted it from you.
"use it, show me how you like it," you instructed, observing as her eyes widened in anticipation. she hesitated for a moment, shooting a nervous glance in your direction.
"do it," you urged, your tone firm.
reluctantly, she positioned herself on her back as you removed the covers from her body, ensuring they didn't obstruct your view. slowly, she began teasing her entrance with the toy before smoothly sliding it inside her.
she closed her eyes, her brows furrowing as you sensually massaged her lower abdomen with your wet fingers. "fuck, you have no idea how much i needed this," she mumbled, biting her lower lip. her thighs quivered, her entire body shaking as she chased another orgasm.
with a sly smirk, you sat up and took the vibrator away from her grasp. she weakly protested, but you disregarded her pleas. turning on the vibrator, you inserted it back into her pussy, positioning it precisely where she needed it most. you watched as her eyes rolled back, her body arching involuntarily. her nails lightly scratched at the sheets as you adjusted the settings, intensifying the sensation.
"oh, god..." jackie breathed, her voice laced with surprise and pleasure. she attempted to grab your wrist, but you skillfully evaded her grasp, controlling the pace at your own discretion. with each adjustment, she edged closer to another mind-blowing orgasm, while your thumb skillfully flicked over her now swollen clit.
"don’t stop! don’t stop," she begged, her legs trembling.
"shhh, be quiet. we don’t want our parents to wake up, do we?" you whispered against her lips as you continued to tease her, orchestrating her pleasure until she became a writhing mess beneath you. her breathing quickened, each gasp punctuating the silence of the room.
"come for me," you ordered, turning it up one final notch. she cried out, her body convulsing as the orgasm washed over her once more. this time, her eyes were open, locked onto yours as she rode the waves of ecstasy.

Tumblr media
The first time you’d seen Jack Hughes, you knew he was trouble. One look at the hockey player and you knew he was bound to break your heart. Still, you dove in head first, charmed by his enchanting blue eyes and troublesome smirk. You were aware Jack didn’t do relationships, he’d very much rather casual hookups. But then, when you appeared in his life, he couldn’t think straight, and for the first time in his life, he wanted one person and one person only.  And you were ecstatic. You would never have believed he’d give you an actual chance, let alone ask you to be his girlfriend. However, Jack didn’t know how to be in a relationship, and he let jealousy and miscommunication get in between the two of you until he couldn’t take it anymore and cut you off his life completely. Now, you were broken up, mourning what could have been of your relationship, both haunted by the what-ifs. Until he decided it was enough, he couldn’t let you be the one who got away. He couldn’t let himself ruin this. You deserved better and he wanted to be better, for you.
It was late when Jack decided he was tired of staring at his bedroom ceiling, probably too late but he didn’t care, it’s not like he was going to sleep anyway. Jack got up from his bed, making his way outside his apartment clad in only sweatpants and a devil’s hoodie, and went to his car. The drive was quiet, but his head was loud. He needs you to accept his apology. He needs you.
Jack sat in his car, looking at your apartment building for what felt like centuries. He could barely see it with the heavy rain on the outside. There are only two types of people who would get out in such bad weather: Idiots and lovesick fools. And Jack definitely was not an idiot.
“Fuck it,” he thought, getting out of the car and going into the building.
When you woke up to someone knocking on your door at two in the morning, you had imagined anything, anyone but a soaked Jack. But here he was, drenched on your doorstep. You looked at the hockey player, his piercing blue eyes so sad and lifeless staring at your sleepy ones.
“Jack?!” You say his name, with the same warmth of always still present. God, he missed your voice.
“It’s two in the fucking morning,” You scream whisper, not wanting to wake up your neighbors at this ungodly hour. “This is insanity, Jack. Are you crazy?”
“Crazy about you” He states, slyly.
For a moment, you stare at Jack, thinking if you want to slap him or kiss him, eventually just letting him inside, praying you won’t regret this.
Jack stands awkwardly, while you get him a towel and some clean clothes he left at yours and prepares a cup of warm tea. You might be furious at him right now, but that doesn’t mean you’ll let him die of hypothermia in your living room.
“What do you want here, Jack?” You asked bluntly after he’s changed and dry, tea sitting on the table in front of the both of you.
“(Y/N)” He starts, the confidence and playfulness of earlier both long gone, “I’m sorry. These were the longest six months of my life. I swear-”
“Jack, you broke my heart. You-” You take a deep breath, eyes already teary, “You left me. You stopped answering me, Jack. After everything you said, after everything we did, you cut me off. Do you understand how painful that was?” You look into his eyes, blurry vision with the tears you’re holding. “And, I-I tried so hard. Harder than you could ever imagine. I trusted you, I really did. I believed in you, Jack.” You say, face wet with tears and Jack’s heart hurts at the vision he wants to hold you and protect you from all of the pain, but it’s his fault. And he needs to make it right.
“I’m sorry. I can’t apologize enough, but if you let me, I’ll be making up for you for the rest of my life. I didn’t know what I was doing, and I hurt you and that was shitty and I’m so incredibly sorry. I don’t think I’ll regret anything as much as I regret hurting you. I never meant to ruin things, (Y/N). I never meant to ruin us. But please let me make it right. I know I broke your heart, let me put it back together.” Jack pleads, getting closer, his own eyes filled with tears, “I’ve made so many mistakes, (Y/N), so many. But you were never one of them. You were the first thing that felt right. And I know I don’t deserve it, but please, give me a second chance. Please.” He begs, holding your face between his hands, and wiping your tears away. “I want you, (Y/N).” The words escapes Jack's lips and he closed his eyes, not sure he wanted to watch your reaction to his admission. “I want to put your heart back together,” He continues, quieter. “I want us to be how we used to be. I want what we had.” He pleas, his voice stern as he continues “I'll never leave again, I promise. I want to be here for you, worse or for better, no matter what happens.”
The room went silent, the two sets of eyes staring into the other. Wordlessly, you bury your face into Jack’s chest and he feels like he can finally breathe for the first time in six months. The both of you stay there, holding each other for all the words they didn’t get to say, and all the apologies they can’t begin to put down onto words. And if heaven were a place on earth, they might stay that way, glued to one another for a lifetime. Jack kisses your forehead, pressing you harder against him, nothing else matters but the girl he has in his arms.
And that’s how it works.
That’s how Jack Hughes got the girl.

"I'm not jealous of you, Jackie. I feel sorry for you." Shauna spat, her words had bled out of her mouth and into Jackie like a sharp blade.
"And I'm sure everyone back home is so sad to be losing their perfect little princess," Shauna's breath hitched slightly, "but they'll never know how tragic, boring and insecure you really are," Jackie's lips trembled beneath Shauna's sentences, eyes wide and hurt - tears gradually piling upon her face, "or how high school was the best your life was ever gonna get."
"Fuck you." Jackie's words were almost silent, disintegrating into her tears.
You watched, alongside everyone else who had been settled around the fire warmed cabin. It wasn't for you to intervene; or for anyone else to intervene, you had never seen Jackie and Shauna fight - let alone with so much spite, and you figured it was best to leave them alone, though your heart felt for Jackie, Shauna's accusations were visibly going too far.
"I cant be around you - I cant even fucking look at you right now." Jackie didn't have the malice to insult Shauna, you sensed that neither of them really meant what they said, and it had just been the sickening feeling that haunted everyone after the crash, now creeping into their friendship.
It was just last week that you had really gotten close to Jackie, in school you'd usually hang out with the other girls, catching Jackie throwing glances your way in class every now and then. And you could've been caught daydreaming, the way you'd stare longingly at her; the way her hair fell onto her shoulders - how her honey eyes glowed when she looked at you.
"Hey (y/n)." She smiled, a towel around her neck after it had rained during practice. "Oh hi Jackie!" You turned to her after brushing your hair out and handing it back to Lottie.
"I just wanted to say you look really pre-"
"(y/n), hurry up we're gonna be late." Lottie interrupted, "Oh, yeah. Sorry Jackie, I'll see you later."
It was the first time Jackie had the courage to come up to you outside of being lab partners, she was confident most of the time - but when it came to you, she was helpless. You didn't even question your feelings towards Jackie, it just felt like an adoration of some sort, and you were completely oblivious to anything more than 'school friends' being between you two.
And that's how it stayed for a while, longing stares, unsaid words and random study sessions.
Though she'd be there for you when you needed her the most, and you'd be there for her - nothing more than that.
"Well that sounds like your problem, so maybe you should leave." Your mind focused back on the situation at hand, this time watching Jackie more intently, furrowing your eyebrows and clenching your jaw, Shauna's face was ridden in sweat and small tears - her hair in a messy ponytail with strands pinning to her cheek. You looked to the side, watching as everyone lowered their gaze in shame. "Are you fucking crazy Shauna? Nobody's leaving, she'll freeze to death." You stood up, voice quiet yet loud, knowing the chances of people taking your side was slim - but another death out here would cause further, unnecessary chaos. "She'll be fine." Shauna talked to you, yet her gaze was still fixed on Jackie.
"I don't even know who you are anymore." Face painted in disappointment, Jackie scoffed, then averted her look towards you, "I need to take a walk." You followed her, ignoring Shauna's sneer and the confused stares of everyone else, who had seemed to find understanding in your reasoning despite your doubts.
-
The door closed, and frost sunk its teeth into your skin, "(y/n), you don't have to come with me, she's right - I'll be fine." Her words blamed themselves, she shook her head at the floor. "It's freezing out here," both of you began walking away from the cabin, where the light stopped its reach, "you shouldn't be alone." Jackie's face stuttered, finally making eye contact with you.
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure."
She smiled in response, drying her tears with her cold-shaken hands. The both of you slid down behind a tree, you brought your knees to your chest; hugging them. "God, how could she, after all that I've done for her." She wrapped her arms around herself. "She doesn't deserve you Jackie," your eyes trailed her expression, "it's fucked up, what she said." You said, unreasonably nervous, and reasonably shaky.
"I never even liked Jeff that much, I cant believe I let him ruin our friendship like that."
"You didn't?"
"No," her voice settled slightly, "and Shauna knew I had feelings for someone else, I guess that's why she took it as a pass to go fuck Jeff, so I couldn't hold it against her." Jackie tried her best to make up with Shauna in her head, but everything kept leading to a dead end, "But whatever, I'm just glad you're here."
"You cant be serious, you're asking me to study?" You asked, holding a math paper that said 'C' in the biggest writing imaginable - as if your teacher wanted to rub it in as painfully as possible. "Yeah, I mean you're good at chemistry right?" Jackie said, and it was true - it was one of the only subjects you were naturally good at.
"I guess, sort of?"
"So can I come over?"
"Today?"
"If you don't mind,"
"No, yeah, sure." You smiled, raising your eyebrows and packing your bags before leaving.
You had something planned with Lottie that day, though it was easy to cancel with a 'my parents are making me clean up' excuse. It didn't phase you why you were starting to make excuses not to hang out with your friends, but it was rare to talk to Jackie, and at the time it didn't look like you two were getting closer than that anytime soon.
You bit your lip, opening your mouth to speak before stopping yourself. Jackie looked at you, the cold eating away at the two of you, "Jackie, I need to tell you something." You squinted your eyes, barely seeing Jackie's face as the trees blocked the moonlight and using it to your advantage, calming your nerves. "I like you," you wanted to say more, but it felt like you were trapped, and all you could do was drag your words out while struggling to read her face.
Snow began falling onto your hair and patterning Jackie's nose, "Really?" She chuckled, you stretched your legs out and smiled with your lip hanging out slightly, "you're kidding me right? This entire time?" She asked, scoffing at her own words. "Yeah, I guess I never found the time to tell you." The snow reached your shoes, which you hadn't stopped staring at.
"Neither," You looked at her confused, "I like you too, (y/n)." You were even more confused this time, I mean she didn't like Jeff all that much - but you couldn't have been the one that she wanted instead, right? "I swear, I couldn't have told you, I thought you liked that guy from our chem class, what's his name?" She titled her head, "Matt? Are you fucking kidding me? You thought I liked Matt?" You laughed, knowing he had asked you out on multiple occasions, yet you rejected him every single time. "So? He's cute, I thought you guys were a thing for the longest time." she snickered, leaning her eyebrows as she shifted her body to face you.
Your laughs cleared, the grass had been covered in a thin layer of snow by now, and Jackie's bottom lip hid under her mouth. She watched as the snow caressed your hair, lips, nose and skin - admiring every part of you, especially your (e/c) eyes that harboured a small reflection of the moon. "You're the prettiest girl I've ever seen, (y/n)." She faintly smiled, edging closer to you. Your eyes gazed through your lashes, looking at her in partial doubt, you didn't know how desperately she wanted to tell you that for the longest time.
Wintry hands latched onto your frostbitten cheeks, her fingers grazing your jawline as her pale lips slowly found yours. Her touch was warm, her lips were softening under yours as you caved in deeper - you could almost feel her face regaining its rosy colour. You eased beneath her, your mouth tasting hers.
She pulled away, though still being mere inches from your face, "you're cold, I can feel it." Her hands traced down to your shoulder, "I'll be fine." You whispered, wrapping your arms around her neck and kissing her again, with a greater passion than the first time, she almost instantly leaned back in, with gentle confidence.
After a moment, you let out a small giggle against her mouth before bringing your arms to her shoulders and pushing her away gently, "I think we have to go." You spoke, numbness overtaking your legs and nose, Jackie brushed a few snowflakes off of you, before the both of you got up to get back to the cabin, though could've stayed there until dawn.

you and jackie went to a bar for shauna’s birthday, just spending the night together with the rest of the adults. but right before going the two of you got into a fight, but since you promised shauna this, you decided to suck it up and go.
“i’m gonna go get another, you good?” van slurred next to you as he got up with your empty beer bottles. you nodded and smiled at how he wobbled back to the bar, swinging his arm around nat on the way. looking around, you were trying to find jackie. you saw her blouse sticking out around a corner, so obviously, you decided to go see her. plus, you wanted to apologize for the fight the two of you had. “hey babe-” you stopped in your tracks.
she was talking.
to another girl.
she was up against the wall, talking to a girl like you didn’t even exist. you knew jackie couldn’t help herself sometimes. she loved making you so frustrated. jackie noticed you in the corner of her eye, pushing away the other woman and walking over to you, batting her eyes.
“you think this is funny, don’t you?” you snapped, your hand pushing her up against a wall. “no, of course not.” her answer was made to seem like she was innocent but you knew you better than to believe her little act.
“you better stop with the attitude, i mean it, jackie.” you growled, gripping her chin so you can look her straight in the eyes.
“maybe you should give me a reason not to give you an attitude.” she still smiled, but her voice was deeper now, whispering into your ear, nibbling on your lobe. she tried to walk back to your group but you grabbed her arm. “we’re leaving. now. you better say goodbye to everyone.” it was your turn to whisper now. jackie went pale, knowing what was in store for her at home.
***
“you’re gonna do exactly what i tell you. if you don’t, i won't let you cum, and you wouldn't want that would you, baby?” you teased, your hands rubbing her hips.
“take off your clothes and lay back.”
“make me.”
those words set you off, pushing her on the bed. you straddled her, ripping open her blouse, the buttons flying everywhere. you loved watching her twitch when your thumb brushed against her nipples, she was so adorably sensitive.
“arms above your head.” you demand, reaching over to grab the handcuffs from the drawer. she obeyed immediately, her chest heaving when she heard them click in place.
“good girl, you okay?” jackie whined at the praise, her hips jolting up.
you started to take off her pants, just leaving her in her black lace panties, with the little pink bow on the waistband, the ones she knows you love so much. she whimpered when you kissed over her clit, gripping onto the bedsheets. you could already see her little button twitching against the cloth.
“so, you wanna act like you’re not with me? do you? you are going to regret that by the time i'm done with you, sweetheart.”
your hand slipped in the front of her panties, instantly feeling how wet she was. “oh, baby girl,” you tsked. the cuffs jingled as she moaned, legs spreading further apart. “you needed some attention down here, huh? poor baby. is my little baby too dumb to ask me to touch her?”
“n-no, i-”
“you just had to go run off with somebody else, right? just for me to notice?” you spoke to jackie in a condescending voice, tilting your head. she almost squealed when two of your fingers slipped inside her cunt. “‘m sorry.”
“aww, i know, sweetie. but you still owe me something, don’t you?” jackie watched your free hand go down to your crotch, gripping the strap in your pants.
“you won’t be needing these anymore.” you took off her underwear, throwing them on the carpet beside you. she loved how dominant and aggressive you always were, she would act up on purpose just for you to put her in her place. you took off your pants and underwear as well, teasing her hole for a little. you and jackie both shared a groan when you thrusted the fake cock into her, all the way to the hilt. “mmf, oh fuck,” she cried, her back arching of the bed.
“such a dirty girl. that feel good?“ you cooed, and she whimpered loudly in response. “y-yes! harder, go harder, please,” she sobbed when you pulled out, and you laughed in her face as you watched her pussy clench around nothing.
“don’t get too greedy, sweetheart.” you slid up, closer and closer to jackie’s face, taking off the strap and lying it next to her. “can you be a good girl and eat me out, baby?” you nodded because you knew she would just mirror your actions. her brain was too fuzzy to even think straight.
“tongue out, baby girl.” you smirked when she obeyed immediately, not moving an inch as you rutted your clit against it, your wetness smearing across her chin and lips.
“goood girl.” your voice was deep as you moaned, tossing your head back in pure bliss. you looked down at jackie, seeing how flustered she was. her heavy breathing against your cunt made you want to cum even faster. your breathing hitched your movements got sloppier, getting sent over the edge when the tip of jackie’s tongue flicked your clit a few times.
you screamed her name, cumming into her mouth. and you watched her lap up every single drop. she did this, making eye contact with you the whole time, a needy whine from her vibrating through your body.
“please, can i cum? pleasee,” you whined and begged like a little kid, slamming her foot down on the mattress and bucking her hips.
“i want you to fuck me so bad, please!”
“you’re begging me?” your eyebrows raised and she nodded, you’ve never seen her this desperate. you tightened the strap back on your waist, beginning to fuck jackie at an animalistic pace. the room was filled with the sound of your heavy breathing, a creaky bed, and jackie’s moans.
she cried, knowing that her orgasm wasn't too far away. “you sure as hell aren’t gonna pull that shit again, are you?” your hand held one of her bouncing breasts, twisting the nipple in between your fingers. you hand went to her little bundle of nerves when she didn’t answer, rubbing it in tiny little circles that made her go crazy.
“n-no, i won’t, ‘m sorry, i’m sorry.” she whispered the second apology. but you knew she was going to act up sooner or later, it happened every time.
“thaat’s my good girl. you gonna cum for me, baby? come on baby, cum for me. my good girl. there you go.” you coaxed, jackie screaming as she soaked your cock, her whole body trembling. she gave you a confused look when you kept fucking her hard. “once more, c’mon, cutie.”
“nghh, i can’t!... i... it's too mu-ch... fuck, i-i'm gonna-” she cut herself off, trying to blink back tears from overstimulation. you gasped when she squirted on you, also getting it on the sheets. “no more, please.” she sobbed pitifully, rubbing her eyes with both cuffed hands.
“no more, good girl.” you repeated, grabbing the key of the nightstand to unlock the cuffs. “you did so well, my sweet girl.” you kissed her wrists, smiling at her blush. she was your girl, and you were gonna make sure she always knew that.

illicit affairs
Summary: "You weren't sure how Jackie Taylor and Shauna Shipman had both decided to cheat on each other with you, but you certainly weren't complaining. Though, the guilt was starting to eat you alive."
A/N: Jackieshauna x reader if it wasn't clear. ended up being pretty long. enjoy!
You cough loudly as you pass the bottle to Nat. "Where the fuck did you guys get this from? Tastes like I'm drinking fucking acetone." You manage to say through wheezes. Nat shrugs as she looks over at Kevyn.
"I gave the guy 10 bucks, this is what he got us." He says as he holds his hands out placatingly. You groan as you lean back against the tree and close your eyes.
"You're the one who wanted to pregame the party anyways, Y/N." Nat says amusedly, grinning crookedly at you. You open your eyes and give her a mostly feigned glare.
"I didn't say I wanted to pregame it," You say. "I just said that the last thing I wanted to do on a Friday night is deal with some of those girls sober." Nat laughs as she hands the bottle back to you. You take another long drink.
"Same thing, isn't it?" She asks. You grin back at her.
When you can hear the faint sounds of the party in the distance the three of you unsteadily set off towards it. You lean heavily against Nat, a little drunker than you planned on getting this early in the night. She leans back against you without complaint but shoots you a concerned look when you reach the party after Kevyn walks further off.
"What?" You ask.
"Drink some water, maybe?" She says. You laugh and shake your head.
"I'm not that drunk, Natty." You tease, making her roll her eyes good naturedly. "It's all good, don't worry."
She hums in acknowledgement. "If you say so." She says. You guys talk aimlessly for a long while before you notice Jackie making her way over to you.
You elbow Nat in her side mid-rant. "Captain incoming." You mutter. She looks over at Jackie and lazily throws her hand up in a mocking salute. Jackie rolls her eyes but doesn't acknowledge it beyond that.
"Hey," Jackie says softly, choosing to completely ignore Nat. Nat scoffs but abandons you to your fate as she walks off to find Kevyn.
"Hey," You say, trying hard to seem more sober than you are. The last thing you need right now is a Jackie Taylor lecture. Now that you've graduated she may not technically hold any authority over you, but old fear dies hard.
"I haven't seen you drink anything at the party," She says. You shake your head no. At least that's working in your favor. Besides, you didn't drink anything at the party. It's technically not even lying.
"Good," She says simply. "I wanted to talk to you about something, but I didn't want you to be drunk for it." You smile wryly. That's you, definitely not drunk Y/N. You wonder what she wants to talk to you about, but it gets a little blurry after that.
…
It was not 'all good': Apparently you're more of a lightweight than you thought. You wake up the next morning with no memory of the night before, but by the extra body in your bed you knew it must have been fucking awesome.
"Hey," You hear a voice say softly. You roll over to see who you went home with when you're paralyzed by shock. That's Jackie Taylor. You're in Jackie Taylor's house in Jackie Taylor's bed with the unmistakable sound of Shauna Shipman's voice coming from Jackie Taylor's kitchen.
Fuck. You think deliriously.
"Hey." You mutter blearily, rubbing at your eyes. You can totally play it cool, even if you're dying inside. She grins at you and leans forward to press a gentle kiss against your lips before getting out of bed.
"I'm gonna go meet Shauna but you can totally take a shower or whatever if you want. She knew you were sleeping over so she brought you breakfast too." She says happily, bouncing a bit on the balls of her feet. You nod and eye her wearily as she leaves. Now that's just cold. You think.
You take a long hot shower hoping the steam will make you feel like a better person. This feeling is only exacerbated when Jackie knocks on the door to let you know that she left you some clothes lying out to change into, as judging by the flannel it's definitely Shauna's.
You stand in the doorway of the kitchen and watch Jackie sitting sideways across Shauna's lap as they whisper and giggle to each other. You clear your throat quietly and they both turn to face you as you hesitantly walk into the kitchen.
Jackie stands up and excitedly pulls the chair out across from Shauna. As she walks over to the fridge, you and Shauna make awkward eye contact. At least, it was awkward on your part. Shauna seems to be eyeing you with a surprising amount of hunger. Her gaze lingering on the way her flannel has partially slid down your shoulder. You laugh nervously and look around for Jackie.
You finally manage to choke down your breakfast and nearly manage to excuse yourself out the door when Jackie stops you with a gentle hand on your arm. "We're still good about last night, aren't we?" She asks softly, looking a little lost. "You're not having second thoughts?"
You shake your head, quick to reassure her. The things you would do to keep this woman from looking sad. You're starting to reach a much deeper understanding with Shauna.  She grins widely at you and you smile back reflexively. "See you soon then? I'll text you later." She promises.
You eye her curiously. "You have my number?" You ask.
"I still have everyone's number." She says. "Captain privileges."
"Seems like you're abusing your old privileges, Captain." You tease. She worries her lip between her teeth and is about to respond when Shauna slips past her out the door.
"All ready to drive you home, Y/N." She interrupts. You can't hide the surprised look on your face.
"It's alright Shauna, I only live two streets over." You say.
She shakes her head. "It's fine." She says, "I promised my mom I'd pick her up something from the store anyways." You nod slowly and wave at Jackie as you slip in the passenger seat. You watch the two of them kiss goodbye and try not to squirm guiltily.
After a two minute drive in complete silence you point to your driveway. She pulls in next to your car and turns to look at you seriously. "Are your parents home?" She asks.
"No. They travel a lot for work." You say. She nods distractedly as she unbuckles her seatbelt. You're about to ask if she was planning on coming inside when she suddenly lunges forward and kisses you. You're frozen with shock for a long moment before eagerly reciprocating.
You can feel the way she smiles against your lips as she pulls back. You open your eyes just in time to watch her climb over the center console to straddle your lap. You reflexively place your hands on her hips to steady her and she gives you an amused, but ultimately fond look for it. "Hey," She says breathily. You can't help but watch her in awe. She reaches her hands out to grip both sides of your open flannel. "You look really hot in my clothes." She says.
"You look really hot in your clothes, too." You offer, trying not to seem so love drunk on someone you just kissed for the first time. She laughs softly and pulls you forward into another bruising kiss. You're lost in the feeling of her mouth moving against yours.
You can't help but moan when she ruts down against your lap, which she eagerly uses to deepen the kiss. She's fighting hard for dominance that you're more than willing to let her have. You flex your fingers against her waist, shifting your hands to slip your thumbs into her belt loops to encourage her to keep moving.
She pulls away from you all too soon in order to catch her breath. You were feeling pretty light headed yourself, but you figured there were much worse ways to go. You look up at her watching the way her chest moves as she pants for breath, the way her lips are plump and swollen. You marvel at the fact that you could do that to Shauna Shipman.
You lean forward eagerly, unable to resist your desperate need to kiss her senseless only to be stopped in your tracks by your seat belt locking against you. You raise a hand to tug at it but it doesn't give. Shauna laughs at your expense and shifts in your lap so that you can't reach the buckle.  You run your hands up and down the sides of her thighs, savoring the feel of her against you. If you can't kiss her you'll take what you can get. You pout exaggeratedly up at her and she shakes her head softly, her lips quirking at the edges as she tries not to smile.
She stays just frustratingly out of reach, seemingly very happy to tease you. She reaches a hand up and slips her fingers underneath the seat belt and tests the give. "I think I like you more like this," She says quietly, as if for your ears only. "All tied up."
You try to muffle the reaction her words cause, but judging by the knowing look on her face you didn't do a great job of it. You give in. "Please." You whine. "Please kiss me again, Shauna?" You can tell by the way she rocks against you that she really likes that.
You never claimed to have any dignity. "I'll do anything." You plead, readily willing to use her enjoyment against her. "Please don't leave me like this, Shauna." You draw her name out in a whine and that seems to be what finally gets her. She reaches forward to grab at the handle and sends your seat flying backwards.
You gasp sharply as she bites down hard against your neck, your hand flying up to pull roughly against her hair in warning. "Sorry," She lies, breathing heavily. "Been wanting to do that all morning." She traces her finger gently across the mark on your neck, looking smugger than you'd previously thought her capable of.
"Make it up to you." She promises as she leans down to start sucking an accompanying mark on the other side of your neck.
"You'd better." You murmur pointlessly, closing your eyes and tilting your head back to give her more room.
…
You're just stepping out of the shower about a week later when you hear the quiet buzz of your phone. You shift your towel to hold it with one hand as you unlock your phone on the way back to your room.
Shauna
Hey.
hey
Do you want to do something later?
Just us, I mean?
You glance down at the message with barely hidden surprise. Is she asking you on a date?
sure. wanna see a movie?
If you want too. I mostly just wanted to see you, really. Can I come pick you up now?
i have a car shauna
I want to drive us, please?
nice to have u begging for once but sure
give me like 20 b4 you come over though
just got out of the shower
You watch as three dots appear, disappear, appear, and disappear again. You grin down at your phone. Clearly she didn't know how to respond to that one. You shake your head amusedly and move to get dressed.
You're bouncing your legs excitedly in the living room as you wait for Shauna to pull down the driveway. Sure, maybe you were a little more attached to her than you should be as the other woman; Who could blame you though, when it came to either of them. You knew this whole situation was going to blow up in your face, but you've decided you're going to enjoy the ride.
You wait for a tense 30 seconds after Shauna knocks to go and open the door. No need to let her know how excited you are, after all. "Hey," She says quietly, taking a quick glance at you. She looks just as excited as you are, anxiously fiddling with the cuff of her flannel.
You grin at her. "You look nice," You offer, hands reaching up to refold the collar of her flannel.
"You too," She says and she watches your hand intensely, almost a little unsure. You gently pull her forward by her flannel and press a soft kiss against her lips. You let go and smooth the edges back down. She looks just a little surprised but she can't hide the way it made her blush. She gestures to her car and you follow.
As she slips in the driver's seat you make a show of wearily eyeing her from the passengers seat. She sends you a confused look before her eyes widen in realization. She scoffs playfully and rolls her eyes. "Won't jump you this time, scouts honor." She promises wryly.
"I don't believe that," You tease.
"Don't think I can control myself?" She asks amusedly.
"Don't believe you were ever a girl scout." You reply. She hums in acknowledgment, shrugging at you. "Doesn't matter anyways. Not wearing my sexy underwear this time, so you'll have to keep it to yourself." You say.
She laughs boisterously as she turns back to you. "You weren't wearing sexy underwear last time either." She says.
You gasp and dramatically turn to face the window, arms crossing on your chest. "So now my underwear's ugly? I'll have you know that I borrowed those clothes from Jackie, so…" You trail off.
Shauna, as if suddenly sensing the hole she's dug herself into, says nervously, "It's not that they were ugly it's just tha-" She glances over midway through her sentence and scoffs as she sees the reflection of your smile in the window.
"Eyes on the road, Shauna." You remind teasingly.
"Bitch." She murmurs fondly.
The both of you come stumbling out of the theater leaning against each other and drunk with giddiness. "Oh my god," You wheeze, desperately trying to catch your breath. She nods against your shoulder, shaking with silent laughter.
"I can't believe he just punched his head off." You say, losing the battle against laughing again. She murmurs her agreement as she looks at you as if you put the stars in the sky. You finally manage to stop laughing as you wonder whether she looks at Jackie like that too.
She watches the change of your expression curiously, but decides not to call you out on it. She offers her arm out gallantly and you wrap your arm around it readily, letting her lead you back to the car.
You're about to make a comment involving chivalry when you see her. Nat watches you with an unreadable expression from her position sitting on a curb. She pulls the cigarette from her mouth, exhaling a cloud of smoke as she waves it slightly in greeting.
You fidget nervously with the sleeve of Shauna's flannel, the one she took off and told you to wear the second you even looked cold in the theater. You can imagine how this looks, especially with the two of you practically tripping over each other. You don't know what to say. What could you even say? You wave back slowly and look away, trying desperately to hide your shame.
…
You and Nat spent the entire car ride in silence which made the sound of the engine turning off practically deafening. You mechanically get out of the car and unlock the store, Nat trailing quietly after you.
You and Nat had always chosen to get summer jobs at the same place, given the ease of picking and dropping Nat off for work if you were going to the same place. You didn't want her walking all the way there every time, and she was too prideful to accept your rides otherwise.
"You're going to get hurt, Y/N." She says seriously. You jump in shock, not expecting her to break her vow of silence so soon.
"You're not going to lecture me about being the other woman twice?" You ask quietly, wanting to change the subject. She raises an eyebrow.  "I'm fucking both of them," You confess. Her mouth drops open in shock, before she manages to catch herself.
She laughs wryly. "I don't care if you want to fuck someone's girlfriend, Y/N. I care because you looked like you really liked her." She says. You glance down silently, unable to disagree and unsure what to say otherwise.
"Y/N," She says seriously, a hard expression adorning her face. "She won't pick you over Jackie, and Jackie won't pick you over Shauna."
You laugh bitterly, scrubbing at a table roughly. "You think I don't know that, Natty?" You say softly, voice catching at the end. She looks up from her own table and softens the second she catches your teary eyed expression.
"Hey," She says, tinged with awkwardness. She walks over and pulls you into a hug, gripping you tightly. "It's alright. I'm sorry. I should have minded my business."
You shake your head against her shoulder. "You're my best friend, Natalie." You say wetly. "It's your job to be in my business, don't you forget that." She laughs quietly into your hair, pulling you tighter against her.
You're interrupted by the soft sound of someone clearing their throat. You try to rub the tears away before you turn to face the customer. Jackie watches the two of you with an obvious expression of jealousy, which turns suspicious the second she catches a look at your face. "What did you say to Y/N?" She asks, looking accusingly at Nat.
Nat scoffs and holds her hands up placatingly. She sends you a meaningful glance before walking off behind the counter. "Hey," You say quietly.
"What did she say to you?" Jackie repeats insistently. You shake your head softly with a laugh.
"Nothing. She didn't say anything, it's just…" You trail off, trying to think of a good excuse.
"It's just?" She prompts.
"Started thinking about how it's going to be our last real summer here. Sure, Nats gonna be my roommate next year, but it just won't be the same." You lie. It wasn't fully a lie, but you felt guilty nonetheless. You've gotten a lot of practice lying recently.
"Nat's going to Rutgers?" She asks, sounding surprised. You nod.
"Seems being on a National winning soccer team does a lot to make up for bad attendance." You confirm.
She nods. "Buzz, buzz, buzz." She says seriously, making you burst out laughing. She pouts at you, but the corners of her lips turn up nonetheless.
You absently pull at the collar of your shirt, suddenly thankful for the uniform's high collar. If she got that jealous over you hugging Nat you think the sight of your neck might kill her. She follows the motion curiously but doesn't comment on it.
"What are you doing here, anyways?" You ask curiously, glancing around pointedly. She pauses to think of an explanation as a blush begins to bloom on her face. You can't help but smirk. "Did you come all this way to see me, Jackie?"
"No," She pauses. "I came here to get a sandwich."
"There are certainly closer places to buy sandwiches," You said. You had, after all, picked a location closer to Nat's trailer on purpose. You hesitate for a moment, deep in thought. "Actually, how did you get here?"
She smiles, relieved for the change in conversation. "Shauna drove me, duh." She says obviously. You tense at the thought. Did Shauna know she was driving her girlfriend out to cheat on her?
No, definitely not. You and Shauna would be having a much different conversation if she thought you were fucking her girlfriend. You try to shake the thought off, but you can't kick the guilt.
"What can I get you then?" You ask in your very best customer service voice. She tilts her head to the side in an expression of confusion. "Your sandwich," You remind her.
"Oh," She mutters softly. She looks up at the menu unsurely for a few long minutes. "Surprise me?" She suggests awkwardly. You shrug and head behind the counter.
Loser. You mouth at her. She pouts but watches interestedly as you make her sandwich. "Here or to-go?" You ask.
She pouts up at you. "Can't you come sit with me?" She asks. You hated when she used the puppy dog eyes on you. You look helplessly over at Nat who rolls her eyes and gestures out toward the table. You hand Jackie her sandwich and spring forward to press a wet kiss against Nat's cheek, snickering at her expressions of disgust.
You join Jackie at her table. She holds her sandwich up to you expectantly. You glance at it and then back to her. "You didn't make it with love," She teases. You roll your eyes.
"That would be a healthcode violation," You point out. She gestures back to the sandwich. You sigh and lean forward to press a gentle kiss to her sandwich. "Is it edible now?" She nods happily and starts eating it.
You sit and quietly talk with her until she finishes her sandwich, and she joins you by the counter until Shauna comes back to pick her up. You watch her leave and exhale loudly in disappointment. Nat snickers at you but doesn't otherwise acknowledge it.
...
You're just on the edge of sleep, but just as your eyes start to slip closed you hear a clang as something hits your window. You watch it carefully and see what looks to be a rock hitting your window. You grab your phone to call 911 when it starts going off on its own.
You look down to see that Jackie's calling you. Surely, she wouldn't… You sigh. Jackie's dramatic ass would do something like that. You answer the call as you sneak a look outside. Sure enough, there's Jackie Taylor outside throwing rocks at your window. "Hey," She says over the phone, waving at you from outside.
"I wasn't actually sure if you could hear the rocks." She says, smile tinged with just a hint of bashfulness. She's so gorgeous. You think mindlessly. You wave back at her, unable to resist her charm. "Let me in?" She asks.
"Course." You murmur sleepily and hang up the phone. You walk downstairs while trying to rub the sleep out of your eyes. You open the door to Jackie looking pristine as ever. You can't help but feel a little self conscious in nothing but your big t-shirt and boxers, but you're quickly reassured by the quirk of her lips as she eyes you up and down.
"Hey," She says shyly. You cross your arms and lean against the doorway as you give her a curious look.
"Hey?" You ask playfully.
"I bet you're wondering what I'm doing here, huh?" She says. You tilt your head questioningly to the side in response. "I missed you," She admits, smiling softly at you.
You can't help but grin as you reach out to pull her into a tight hug, resting your head on her shoulder. You laugh quietly into her ear and say, "We've been texting literally all day, how could you have the chance to miss me?" You ask teasingly.
"Just not the same, Y/N." She whines, inhaling deeply into your hair. You let go of her to gently pull her away from you, both hands resting on her shoulders.
"Did you seriously just smell me?" You ask amusedly. She shrugs and keeps smiling unrepentantly. You laugh quietly. "Freak." You whisper affectionately, and slide your hand down her arm to grab her hand and pull her up towards your bedroom.
"And yet," She says, flopping back happily on your bed. "It's worked perfectly on you."
You laugh as you climb on next to her and lay back far more gently. "Suppose I have a thing for freaks." You admit playfully. She rolls on her side to look over at you with a pleased expression.
"You'd better." She says simply. God, she's so weird. You think. She leans in to kiss you when she suddenly stops in her tracks. She lays a hand down on your chest to push you flat on your back as she shifts up to straddle you. You don't even get a chance to ask what's wrong before she starts pulling at the neckline of your shirt to expose the marks on your neck.
She stares at the lingering teeth marks Shauna had left on your neck a few days ago, hidden in the stacks of the bookstore she'd drug you to. She runs her fingers over it with an unreadable expression, feeling curiously at the edges. You watch her carefully, not really sure what to say. She puts her hand up to your chin and cups it gently, the tip of her thumb just barely reaching your mouth. You press an affectionate kiss against her thumb and her expression softens, settling back to her normal Jackie Taylor brand of exuberance.
"I didn't think I'd find that so hot," She murmurs distractedly, shifting her focus to looking at the other side of your neck. She grins at what she finds, a pleased expression growing slowly on her face. "Missed a spot," She says happily, leaning over and biting down.
Your body jerks harshly in surprise at the action but she presses her hand back down against your chest to still you as she keeps nipping and sucking at your neck. You can tell that she didn't bite you nearly as hard as Shauna did, but damn if it still didn't hurt.
You reach a hand up to wrap in Jackie's hair, gently tugging it to get her away from you. She makes a whiny complaint but follows the motion dutifully. You scoff as you get a look at the needlessly smug expression adorning her face. You let go of her hair to rest your hands on her hips, fingers flexing warningly as she glances back at your neck.
You decide to put a stop to that and flip the both of you over. Jackie makes a pleased noise at the motion, staring up at you with her hair splaying out widely against the pillow. You grin, embarrassedly fond of the look.
You lean down to claim her lips in a bruising kiss, which she eagerly reciprocates. Your mind blanks at the feeling of her lips against yours, which is why it takes you an embarrassedly long time to realize she's been tugging at your shirt trying to convince you to take it off for at least five minutes.
You sit back on her hips and smirk down at her. "Show you mine," You offer. She rolls her eyes but takes her own shirt off. You watch her hungrily; not remembering the night you originally shared together made this feel like the first time. She makes an impatient gesture and you finally take your own shirt off.
She makes a surprised noise as she looks up at you, eyes scanning greedily. You look down, a little confused. Oh. You think. You fidget with the strap of her bra uncomfortably. "I was going to sleep. It's a bit of a tits out kinda outfit." You defend with a shrug. She nods quickly but manages not to move her eyes away from you.
You wonder if she looks at Shauna like this too. You feel an increasingly familiar pang of guilt and do your best to table the thought. She's looking at you like this now, that's all that matters. You toy with the clasp of her bra and slowly unhook it, pulling it up and off her shoulders in one fluid motion.
"There," You say. "We're even now, no need to stare." She grins.
"Always a reason to stare, Y/N". She murmurs. You start to roll your eyes at her but glance down to meet a distraction of your own. She giggles at your expense.
"Shut up, Jackie." You mutter as you lean down to suck a mark into the curve of her breast. She releases a quiet gasping noise, fingers flexing as her nails dig into your shoulder. You can already tell she's going to wreck your back. You can't wait.
…
You groan happily as you stretch out fully on your bed as you wake up, hissing slightly as the motion pulls at the scratches on your back. Must've fucked me up good. You think aimlessly. Jackie makes a whiny noise at the movement, clearly not pleased to have been woken up. She rolls over in your arms to face you, smiling gently at you.
She opens her mouth to speak when she catches sight of something over your shoulder and her eyes widen. "Shit." She says panickingly, throwing the covers off of the both of you to bolt to her clothes on the floor. You turn around curiously and catch sight of the alarm clock on your bedside table. Shit, you'd really slept the day away. You think, rushing to your closet to get dressed.
You stumble out fully dressed and hurry to the bathroom to finish getting ready. "Hurry up!" She calls out impatiently. "We need to stop by my house so I can finish getting ready. I can't believe you're going to make us late."
"I'm making us late?" You say in disbelief. "You're the one who wanted another one."
"You gave it to me!" She accuses.
"Next time I won't." You say, walking out of the bathroom and tugging her down the stairs after you. She argues that point all the way to the car, and you open the door for her still laughing at her hurried reassurance that she didn't mean it.
You look down at your watch for the third time in 45 minutes and can't help but roll your eyes. She accused you of making the two of you late, seriously? You couldn't say you were all that upset about it though. You'd been contentedly watching Jackie getting ready for the better part of an hour. You'd gotten so lost in the motions of her makeup you almost didn't catch her question.
"What?" You ask, startled.
"I asked if you were ready?" She asks. You nod as you stand up. "You didn't brush your hair, though?"
You grin at her as you raise a hand to brush down the flyaways before flashing her a thumbs up. She rolls her eyes. "Shauna does the same thing," She says fondly as she turns to find her purse. Your face falls but you quickly school your expression into neutrality by the time she turns around.
Wait a second. "Is that my letterman?" You ask. "When did you even grab that?" She laughs, patting at your arm as she drags you out the door.
You open the car door for her and watch her curiously. "Are you wearing my letterman to the party?" You wonder. She hums in acknowledgement.
This is going to be a shit show. You think idly
…
As you walk into the party you can't help but wonder if you're walking into your own funeral. When you look over to see Jackie still wearing your jacket you can almost hear the sound of the ambulance that's going to carry you away. You steel your nerves as Shauna looks over but to your utmost surprise she just smiled and waves at the both of you.
In fact, her eyes seem to narrow on the marks that Jackie had left on your neck. You wave nervously at her and she acknowledges it with a nod, turning back to her conversation with Tai. You can see Nat send you a wide eyed look as she catches sight of Jackie.
You start to walk over to her when Jackie's fist closes around your arm, stopping you in your tracks. "Leaving me so soon?" She asks sweetly, with just a hint of a threat. You almost break your neck in your hurry to shake your head no. She smiles sweetly at you, patting your arm affectionately. She drags you off to go talk to the other girls, managing to keep touching you the entire time.
You're leaning up against the wall next to her as she talks to Mari; you're trying not to make it obvious that you're bored out of your mind. You're nearly crying tears of relief as you feel your phone vibrate in your pocket. You've gotten a message from Shauna. You angle your phone so that Jackie can't see the contents as you open the message.
Shauna
Come meet me upstairs.
can't. with jackie and mari rn
For me?
you know how jackie is 🤷
I do. What if I could make it worth your while, though?
Your eyes go wide as you look at it. As you look at them. You glance upstairs wide-eyed and look over at Jackie. "I've got to go." You say. She shakes her head no and you nod in return. She sighs exaggeratedly as she lets go of your arm.
"Go on. Everybody abandons poor Jackie." She says dramatically and squeezes your hand affectionately.
You're almost to the stairs when you vaguely hear Mari say that "She'd never abandon her." You turn around just in time to catch the slightly sour expression on Jackie's face, and try to stifle your laughter as you bolt up the stairs.
You find Shauna on the second door you try, taking in the sight of her as you try to erase what you saw in the first room you tried. You lock the door behind you as you hurry towards her and happily climb into her lap.
"Hey," She says softly. You laugh quietly before glancing down at her bra-covered chest, catching the faint outline of her nipples.
"Cold, are we?" You say with a grin.
"Shut up," She murmurs shyly.
"Shut up," You whine mockingly. "You send me half-naked pictures while I'm with Jackie and now you want to get shy on me?"
She smiles smugly. "You liked it," She accuses. You nod and decide to kiss that smug little expression of hers away. You gently cup her face with your hand caressing your thumb absentmindedly against her cheek as you taste her. It's more gentle than you can honestly justify for a hookup, but you've gotten used to wanting things you can't have.
You break away as she starts tugging insistently at the bottom of your shirt. You laugh breathlessly and tug at the neckline of your shirt, tossing it haphazardly off toward the floor. She lazily throws her arms around your shoulders to pull you closer, but suddenly changes direction with a curious look on her face. She runs her hands down your back slowly, feeling at the edges of the scratches Jackie left with her fingertips. You make a strangled noise at the sting of pain it causes, not entirely opposed to the feeling.
She's quiet for a few long moments, watching you carefully as she continues to tease at just the edge of pain. "You topped her?" She asks. You startle slightly, not expecting her to acknowledge it. You wonder idly who exactly Shauna thinks 'her' is. You nod slowly.
"You’ve never tried to top me." She says. You laugh, not sure where she's going with this. "Why not?" She asks hesitantly. You can't help but grin at her obvious annoyance at having to be even the slightest bit vulnerable.
"Didn't really have the chance." You say, cupping her chin and forcing her to make eye contact with you. She fights against your grip as she tries to turn her head away. "Stop it," You murmur. She sighs as the fight goes out of her, leaving her to have to look at you as you speak.
"Do you want me to?" You ask. She looks a little uncomfortable at the question and makes pointed glances at your lips to distract you from it. "Shauna." You say pointedly.
"I've never… With Jackie before." She says slowly. You snicker. Obviously. She taps you gently on the arm in reproach, but she grins widely at the comment. She steels her face into a determined look as she nods to herself. "I’d like to try. If you want to." She spits out quickly, as if it pains her.
You trace your thumb up her chin and to her lips, pressing gently against it. She parts her lips as you touch the pad of your thumb against her tongue. You watch her carefully for signs of discomfort, and finding none you smile at her. "Knew you could take directions, Shauna. You gonna let me take care of you?" You ask teasingly.
She makes a shocked noise around your thumb, a little surprised by how much she likes it. She nods slowly.
…
You lay in bed later that night, having dropped Jackie back off at home, staring blankly at your ceiling. You lift your hand in front of your face and flex your fingers slowly. You can't even look at them without thinking about her: about the way her mouth felt around them, the way she felt around them. You know it must be your imagination, but you swear you can still hear the faint sounds of her gasps and quiet moans.
You press your hands against your ears to drown it out, but you can't escape what you're only imagining. You exhale loudly, and roll over to face the wall. You've gotten in too deep with both of them. At first you could ignore the guilt, after all they had both decided to step out. Neither of them had the right to truly be mad at the other, right?
The longer you spent with them the deeper you fell. All that's left is your desperate need to be a part of it. If you can't have them, at least they can have each other. This has to stop. You decide. You'll just make it stop. How hard can it be to avoid them for a few more weeks? You'll all be going to college soon.
The answer was a lot harder than you'd think. You gently told Shauna the next time she texted that you were super busy with work and couldn't meet up, only for her to show up at your house later that night just to sleep. As you drift off to sleep in her arms you wonder how the hell you're going to get out of this one; When her arm reflexively tightens around you in her sleep you question if you really even want to.
You make excuse after excuse whenever one of them texts you, and yet they're always so accommodating. The reassuring texts you get from Jackie after canceling your plans last minute due to 'car troubles' almost make you feel worse than the cheating did. It all comes to a head about a few days later with a loud knock on the door.
You've been laying on the couch doomscrolling through TikTok for at least an hour, so you're happy for any distraction at this point. You peer through the peephole expecting a salesman only to be confronted by both Jackie and Shauna waiting outside your door. You're filled with an unimaginable amount of dread as you slowly open the door.
"Hey," Jackie says with a slightly pinched expression. "Can we talk?" She asks, but Shauna pushes her way through the door before you can answer.
"Great." Shauna says blankly with an annoyed expression on her face. She sits down on the couch, obviously fuming, and points expectantly to the seat across from her. "Sit."
"What Shauna means to say," Jackie says pointedly as she closes the door behind her. "Is would you please sit and talk to us?" Shauna rolls her eyes, clearly that isn't what she wants to say to you. You sit right on the edge of your seat, hands clenching the arms of your chair, ready to bolt at the slightest hint of danger.
"Good," Jackie says, taking the seat next to Shauna. "Me and Shauna were talking earlier." She starts, looking unusually uncomfortable.
"You lied to us." Shauna states simply. Jackie sends her a perturbed look but Shauna continues on, "You told me you were working, and you told Jackie you were out of town."
You couldn't help but wince. In your defense, you really didn't think they'd communicate enough to put that together. You felt very comfortable with those lies when you told them. "Imagine our surprise," Shauna continues, "When we drove past and your car was outside."
You stare down at the floor, unsure of what you could possibly say or do in this situation. You were just so tired. Tired of sneaking around, tired of all the lying. "I'm sorry," You say robotically. "I'm just getting stressed with college coming up." Jackie sighs and Shauna scoffs in response. You continue to stare at your socks.
You can hear shuffling and Jackie walks over and squats down next to the chair. "Hey. " She says softly as she holds one of your hands between hers. "Can you look at me?" You can't help but glance at Shauna who, while still undeniably upset, has seemed to soften since the conversation began. You finally meet Jackie's eyes to see the look of concern on her face.
Your eyebrows furrow in confusion the longer you look at her. "I know that it must be a lot right now trying to find your place in our relationship, but if you need space you need to talk to us. You don't get to lie to us like that, Y/N." She says seriously.
In our relationship? You think, flabbergasted.
"We agreed it would be easier if we saw you separately, remember? But maybe we've been taking up too much of your time? It's probably really difficult balancing both of us, Nat, and your job. Huh?" Jackie asks. You nod slowly, not sure what's happening. Shauna sighs loudly and exasperatedly as she walks over and squats down next to Jackie.
"Stop looking pathetic and sad. It's hard to be mad at you when you do that." Shauna teases, flashing you a wry grin. You laugh wetly, on the verge of tears. "Hey, hey. I said stop being sad." She says a little panicked. You shake your head trying to stifle the urge to cry.
"Maybe we rushed it a bit when we talked at the party?" Shauna asks.
At the party. You think slowly. You've got to be fucking kidding me. This whole time?
"No. No. We didn't rush it." You say quickly, thinking fast to come up with a better excuse.
"You're right. I've been having trouble balancing my time, and I didn't want you guys to think I was playing favorites or anything." You lie, more than willing to use an excuse so readily offered to you. "I'm really sorry that I lied to you guys. I should have just been honest from the start."
"You should've." Shauna says honestly. Jackie elbows her gently in the side. "What? Am I wrong? Tell me I'm wrong." You smile affectionately as they bicker like an old married couple.
"Enough." Jackie says with a laugh, sharing a long look with Shauna. Shauna watches you carefully, notably suspicious, but ultimately seems willing to accept your lie. After confirming they're on the same page Jackie turns and smiles up at you.
"How about," Jackie starts slowly. "We start hanging out together? The three of us. That way you'll have time for all of us." Shauna nods in agreement. Your smile splits your face in two as you nod eagerly. Shauna laughs mockingly at you, but squeezes your hand affectionately.
…
You stretch out across Shauna's couch contentedly, laying across Shauna and Jackie who sit at either end. Jackie makes an annoyed noise as she gently swats at your leg. "Careful," She chides, "You nearly kicked my phone out of my hand."
You peek an eye open as Shauna's muffled laughter shakes your body. You feign a pout as you look up at her, your head laying in her lap. "I didn't come here to be attacked like this," You say in a whiny voice. Shauna snickers in amusement, but sets her phone down to slip a hand into your hair to massage gently at your scalp.
Your eyes slide shut again as you move your head into her hand like a cat. Jackie sighs dramatically, as if particularly put out. "I'm still here guys," She reminds you, but you can hear the smile in her voice. You shift slightly and nudge at her arm with your foot. "Thanks, Y/N." She says dryly. Still, she grabs ahold of your ankle and starts stroking her thumb absentmindedly across the sliver of skin showing between your jeans and your socks in a gentle caress.
You couldn't have dreamed of a better resolution to your problems than the one you'd got, even if you had some extremely rough passages along the way. It was even worth the embarrassing phone call you had made to Nat, who laughed hysterically for almost 20 minutes at your expense. Your lips quirk up at the thought.
"What are you thinking about?" Shauna asks softly. You hum in amusement.
"Always so nosy." You chide affectionately. "Thinking about you. How pretty my girlfriends are. The usual." Shauna makes a slightly choked noise in embarrassment, her fingers tightening reflexively in your hair. You make a pained noise and she quickly lets go with a few whispered apologies as she continues to gently play with your hair. You don't bother to open your eyes, knowing her well enough to imagine the pretty blush staining her face.

Jackie Taylor x fem reader
Tumblr media
(Jackie Taylor x fem reader - reader with body dysmorphia)
[Warnings - Talk of eating disorders and body dysmorphia, closeted lesbians, love confession, first times, body worship, praise, gentle soft-top Jackie, fingering, oral, vibrator, thigh riding]
You were checking yourself in the locker room mirror for the fifth time, frowning with focus as you pulled down on your shirt, sucking in. You had always been a curvier girl, always comparing yourself to every other girl you saw and thinking in your mind, “That’s what a normal body looks like, skinny, toned, pretty, while you were just curvy, thick, chubby as every single guy you spoke to would say. That’s one of the reasons you were now a closeted lesbian, I mean, it was 1996, lesbians weren’t really excepted and the only open lesbian you knew was Van, she was a really good friend to you and she had close to the same body type as you, but she had confidence and you just didn’t, you wished you could be as non-caring as her.
Jackie frowned from the corner as she did Shauna’s paint for the field, she always kept an eye on you, as the leader of the team and one of your friends she had to, but also it may be because she feels a little something more… But anyways, she kept seeing you tug at your uniform. Jackie kinda knew you always had problems with body confidence and eating, you always denied snacks or food when offered and only ever ate an apple or a granola bar for lunch. She tried multiple times to offer you food but you always said you liked eating the same thing every day, that it gave you routine and structure. The way you said it made Jackie worry, she always worried about you because she knows of your family life. Your parents, whom she met on occasions were super overprotective, Christian, conservative, republican people who sheltered you way too much, you were actually homeschooled only until this year when you finally got your parents to let you go to school just so you could play soccer.
At first your parents didn’t agree, saying how they didn’t want you to wear the uniforms that were too short, but you were able to get a custom uniform online with sleeves that went down to your elbows and shorts that went down to your knees and you promised them that you would excel and you’d get amazing grades. It put a extreme amount of pressure on you to be perfect all the time, sometimes you forgot to eat, or you’d skip lunch and go to study hall instead. Everybody on the team really worried about you because of this, especially Jackie, Lottie, and Van. Luckily this year at school you had kept up with the perfect image, getting straight A’s, behaving good at home and school, and doing your absolute grueling best at soccer and practice so you could show your parents that you were the best, even your coach told you that you needed to relax at some point, but you always just said you liked to work and move, it keeps you distracted.
“Hey, Y/N, are you okay? Jackie spoke with concern as she walked over to you, pulling you out of your thoughts, giving her a quick smile which she saw straight through as you spoke, “Yeah, I’m fine, just fixing my shirt.” She only nodded and crossed her arms, giving you a gentle look, “That’s the sixth time you’ve fixed your shirt Y/N, look, you look gorgeous, okay?” She smiled brighter as she turned you to face yourself in the mirror, making you blush simply from her hands on your shoulders as she looked at you through the mirror, “Even with this baggy conservative ass uniform, your one of the very few that can pull it off and make it look sexy.” She finished, making your heart speed up, (Did Jackie really think you were sexy?) “I’m not really going for sexy, I don’t like when people notice me like that.” You mumbled out, you really liked to just be invisible. You loved to be the best at things, but you never wanted to be noticed for your efforts.
“Well then, sorry toots but you are, your pretty and so sexy that even with this uniform that covers up all your good bits, you have the boys always drooling after you like dogs with a bone.” She complimented you, Jackie was tying to hype you up, to be the team leader and give you a pep talk, but really all it did was make you embarrassed and shy, blushing, you didn’t really believe her, every time you got compliments you thought they were out of pity, of coarse Jackie would give you compliments, she’s perfect. “Isn’t that right girls, Y/N is absolutely beautiful?” She yelled out with a smile, getting rounds of playful wolf-whistled, noises, “Damn straight!” Van called out with a smile while whipping Taissa with a towel, making her jump and nod. “Yeah, Y/N, you have no idea how pretty you are, I wish I had your curves honestly.” Lottie just smiled and walked up to you with that little head tilt she does, her eyes soft as she reached for your hands, looking you in the eyes, “Y/N, you shouldn’t even waste time worrying about your looks, your absolutely adorable and one of our best players, we all see how hard you work yourself, your beautiful and you shouldn’t ever think otherwise.” You smiled tenderly at Lottie’s little pep talk, but Jackie, Jackie honestly felt a wave of jealousy watching Lottie with you, a quick frown crossing her face, (Why did Lotties pep talk comfort you but hers didn’t, what’s so special about Lottie?” She thought, unconsciously dropping her hands from your shoulders to your waist to hug you from behind and nuzzle your shoulder with a smile, pretending to playfully pull you back against her in a “friendly” hug and totally not just doing that to get you away from Lottie.
You just laughed a little with a pink blush from all the attention, compliments, and Jackie’s hug, your heart was pattering so fast you were terrified Jackie would feel it or somehow see how you had this overwhelming crush on her. Jackie finally pulled back from the hug, calling the girls so you could head out onto the field and start practice, “Alright, let’s go Yellowjackets!” She cheered with a jump before you were all jogging out onto the field for another day of grueling practice. You worked your ass off like usual, only today you were driven by anger, or self-hatred, you were running and sweating, trying to mentally burn off as many calories as possible, really pushing yourself today, and it didn’t help that the softball boys were practicing right on the open field beside the team, shouting wolf-whistles and gross compliments. It only spurred you on more, which the team seemed to notice your attitude, getting some worried glances from the girls and coach, but Jackie was paying the most attention, coming over to you after practice as you were sitting on the grass, panting heavily while tying your shoes, sitting down next to you, “Hey, Y/N, nice footwork out there, what’s got you so pumped?” She tried to seem like she was teasing, her smile as she nudged your shoulder with hers, nodding over towards the boys, “You trying to make a good show for the boys?”
She just teased lightheartedly, Jackie really hoped that you didn’t like any of the boys, but she just wanted to use that as an excuse. She didn’t know if you were interested in her the way she was into you, and really, Jackie herself was severely confused about her sexuality but after so many nights fantasizing about what it would be like to be with a girl, only being able to masterbate and cum to the thought of girls, she assumed she was definitely lesbian. Even when she was dating Jeff she had to fake so many orgasms, she was only with him to try to convince herself to be straight, but eventually she just knew it would never work so she broke it off. You frowned at her question, you always got so worked up when Jackie would tease you about being interested In boys, that’s one of the reasons why Jackie did it, she thought you were adorable when you got flustered, your scoff as you looked up at her, “What? Of coarse not, they disgust me just from their stares.” You grumbled out, that was the truth, men just disgusted you, even from a young age while girls were fawning and gushing over boys you never got that attraction, you forced yourself to “date” like three boys in your lifetime and every single time all they ever said was, (They liked that you were thicker than other girls.) It just made you feel disgusted by your own body, knowing that was all you were seen for was… heartbreaking for you, and you grew a hated towards men instead. “You were just really working yourself out there, even Lottie couldn’t keep up with you.” Jackie chuckled with a worried look, but you were too busy looking down at your shoes, sighing, “Look Jackie, I’m fine, I just wanted to do my best.”
“Oh that was definitely your best, I’m proud of you.” Jackie smiled, putting her hand on your back in soothing rubs, making you soften a little bit and blush, looking up at her with a more sullen look of defeat, you were really tired and it was hard to keep hiding your feelings, Jackie’s expression softened too at your look, silently giving you a look of understanding as she spoke gently, “Hey, it’s Friday, how about you text your parents and ask if you can spend the night for a sleepover at my place?” You immediately smiled a little at the idea, your parents met Jackie already and they got the best impression from her and met her parents, they thought Jackie was the perfect little princess, (due to Jackie’s amazing acting skills) she won your parents trust and favor. So when you texted your parents while getting dressed in the locker room after practice, you got a yes as long as you were home by Sunday for church. Smiling at your phone before shutting your locker, you looked over at Jackie with excitement and relief, “They said I could-“ Jackie cut you off with a teasing smile and tone with her hands on her hips, “As long as your home by Sunday, yeah, yeah.” You giggled at Jackie which made her only smile more, she loved it when she got to make you smile or laugh, you rarely ever did due to your constant state of stress, so she treasured those moments.
“Come on, let’s go.” Jackie smiled as she jingled her keys, giving you a playful look as she wiggled her brows, you just smiled gently with a nod, grabbing your duffel bag before heading out with her to the parking lot. You got stopped by Jeff and some of his boys in a truck next to Jackie’s car, you could practically predict some sexual remarks as soon as you saw their smiles and stares, like predators with their prey, Jackie grabbed your hand immediately with a confident look on her face, leaning closer to you to speak gently, “Hey, don’t worry, their just assholes, ignore them.” She gave you a gentle squeeze with your hand in hers, you always felt so protected by Jackie, it made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, your heart was pounding as she led you to her car, one of the boys shouting out from the trunk of the truck, “Hey, church mouse, show us your tits!” Jackie glared burning holes into the guys, that was your name at school, church mouse, it was derogatory because you were quiet, more private, and just a good girl overall. “Fuck off pervs, you wish!” Jackie spat back at them with a roll of her eyes, guiding you into her car before she got in on the other side, slamming the door and putting a tape in to turn on some music and drown out the guys before pulling out of the parking lot. “Hey, I’m sorry about those assholes, men only think one thing, sex, my mom always told me that.” Jackie gives you a gentle smile which you were grateful for. “It’s fine, thanks for standing up for me.” Jackie just nodded, her expression was so caring, reaching her hand over to place on your knee with a gentle squeeze, “Always.”
You got to Jackie’s house in about 30 minutes, she didn’t live too far, getting out of the car with your bag as she led you inside her house. Jackie’s parents were on vacation, which you didn’t know about, having the huge house all to yourselves which Jackie was practically jumping with excitement about as she led you up to her bedroom to settle in. “Are you hungry?” Jackie asked as soon as you both settled in, sitting down on her bed beside you, “I can order pizza or something while you take a shower.” She spoke with a hopeful tone that you’d say yes, she hadn’t seen you eat for the past couple of days and she noticed you’d lost some weight, your uniform shorts getting baggier than usual. You frowned at her words, you didn’t wanna say no and have her be suspicious, but also you didn’t wanna eat pizza, terrified of gaining weight. Jackie must have seen the worry and stress on your face, sitting up more in her bed to sit on her knees and take your hands, smiling reassuringly as she shook her head, “Or I can go downstairs and make us both fruit salads, Dad just got some fruit at the market the other day.” She tried to find to find someway to get you to relax and eat, “Because I’m starving, how does that sound.” You felt a wave of relief at her alternative suggestion, fruit wouldn’t hurt you as long as you didn’t overdue it, nodding with a small smile, “Yeah, sure, if it’s not too much trouble for you, I’m sorry to make you do that for me.” You apologized before she shook her head, “No, no, Y/N, i love doing things for you, go take a shower and I’ll come back up with a bowl for us and we can watch movies and just relax.” She smiled affectionately, getting out of bed swiftly.
You just nodded and headed to Jackie’s bathroom, she had one attached to her bedroom. You decided to take a quick hot shower, getting out once you were done before realizing you forgot to grab a change of clothes from your bag, cursing as you walked back into Jackie’s room, she wasn’t back yet so you just thought to drop your towel and get dressed, but unlucky or lucky for you Jackie was literally right at the door, holding two bowls, stopped with a burning blush and her mouth open as she caught a glimpse of your beautiful body through a wide crack in the door, since it was just you two, neither of you thought to close doors really. Jackie blinked a couple of times just in shock, you were so gorgeous, she just wanted to walk in and do unholy things to you, but she had to keep her secret until she was sure you weren’t straight. She decided to do a alternative, pretending to walk in with a loud. “OH! Sorry, Y/N, I thought you’d be done already.” She spoke quickly as she turned around quickly, you jumped with a burning blush on your cheeks at her having seen you naked, quickly pulling your shirt and shorts on, “God, I’m sorry Jackie- I didn’t even think.” She cut you off with a shake of her head before turning around once you were dressed with a blush, “No, hey- it’s okay, we’re both girls.” She chuckled out nervously, trying to hide the fact that she is blushing so hard not from embarrassment but from attraction to you, handing you a bowl of fruit which you took before sitting back in a beanbag chair in her room, there was a couple moments of awkward silence as you took a few hesitant bites while Jackie met your eyes a few times, “Y/N, you know your beautiful, right?” Her sudden words caught you off guard, rolling your eyes with a sigh which Jackie caught, “Hey, I’m serious Y/N, you are.” You just shook your head, speaking out mid-chew,
“Of coarse you’d say that, your literally perfect Jackie.” Your words made her blush with a soft smile as she stared over at you with a affectionate look. “I’m not perfect, but thank you.” She spoke shyer, shrugging before speaking again as she sat down her bowl, watching you eat while biting her lip, she was trying to be careful with what she said. “Y/N, can I tell you something?” You looked up at the hesitancy In her tone, nodding as you gave her your full attention as she stood up to sit closer to you in her bed, “I have a crush, on this person… and I’m not sure they feel the same way I do.” You felt your heart shatter at her words, at seeing your brief expression because she felt her heart flutter with hope, just a friend wouldn’t look so devastated at her best friends confession, you didn’t really know what to say except, “Oh, um, well- why don’t you just tell them, be blunt, the worst they can do is say no.” You shrugged, you were always a no none sense, blunt kinda person, you hated wasting time and beating around the bush. Jackie just smiled and chuckled at your advice, she always admired your advice, looking down as she spoke, “It’s not that easy, their a friend of mine and I don’t wanna ruin our friendship.” You shifted in your spot with empathy for her, it felt super awkward to give her relationship advice while your heart was breaking at the thought of Jackie being with anyone, “If they make you happy and it’s torture not being with them, isn’t it worth the risk instead of suffering?” You spoke from your heart, realizing how close you and Jackie were when you saw her nod, her eyes briefly flickering down to your lips, god- you were such a hypocrite, and fuck- why is she so pretty?
“She’s too important for me to loose.” Jackie spoke out softly before her eyes widened, realizing what she just confessed when she saw your expression change, it wasn’t hard to click the pieces together just the, she meant you, Jackie liked you? You knew it was you as soon as she said, she. Jackie quickly just took in your shocked expression before catching you copy her, your eyes flickering down to her lips, making her swallow and slowly lean in closer, her heart racing when you didn’t pull away, her hand reaching up to your cheek before she pressed her lips against yours in a slow, passionate, deep kiss, sighing out against your lips in pure relief when you started to kiss her back. You were so happy you couldn’t help but smile against her lips, making her smile too, pulling away with such a bright smile it made your heart flutter, the both of you catching your breath as you stared into each others eyes, her voice was a little raspier than normal, making you flush, “I’ve wanted to do that for so long.” Her words shocked you, you were so sure Jackie was straight, you’d trained yourself to be heartbroken and miserable your whole friendship with Jackie while watching her with Jeff, but now she was confessing she liked you? It felt like a dream. You just stared at her with this look in your eyes that made Jackie heat up, you looked so adorable to her, leaning back closer as she sat up on her knees, cupping your cheek with a soft tone,
“Your so beautiful… please, let me show you how beautiful I think you are.” Jackie husked out while slowly pushing you down on her bed, carefully straddling your lap with a shutter when she felt how hot you were against her core through the thin fabric of both of yours sleep shorts, god she was embarrassingly wet already, sighing out as her eyes fluttered, looking down at you as she gently slid her hands under your shirt to your hips, rasping out, “Is this okay, Y/N?” She asked you gently, watching your expression for any signs of discomfort. You just nodded with a breathy, “Yes, Jackie…” She smiled down at you so sexy, rolling her tongue against her teeth before leaning down to kiss you slow and deep, nibbling on your bottom lip a few times as she rolled her hips for the first time, the noise you made against Jackie’s lips made her groan, pulling back with a nuzzle to your nose, tugging your shirt off over your head, “Your so fucking perfect, Y/N, I swear to god…” she spoke with such passion and adoration as she squirmed in your lap to sit back and kiss down your neck to your chest, her hand sliding behind your back for your bra clasp, making you shutter as she spoke again for consent, her breath against your ear as she pushed down against you, “Can I?” You were hesitant this time which she noticed immediately, skipping your bra to rub your back and pepper more kisses across your gave this time which made you giggle, “Jackie…”
She smiled at your giggles, “What? I’m just appreciating the beautiful baby girl I have under me.” Her words made you blush, rolling your eyes before Jackie cupped your chin and guided your eyes back to hers with a more sensual tone, “I mean it, Y/N, I mean it when I say your beautiful and perfect and sweet and gorgeous…” The more she spoke the more embarrassed you got, so you decided to change the roles, pushing up your hips before grabbing Jackie’s waist to flip the two of you, getting a surprised squeal from her as her head hit the pillows, the bed squeaking as you threw your leg over her waist to straddle her instead, you had a tendency to get defensive or controlling when embarrassed or vulnerable, leaning down to husk against her hips with a lustful look,
“I think the beautiful one here is you, why don’t I show you instead?” Jackie just blushed, biting her lip, she wanted to worship you, to show you that you were gorgeous and that she wanted to take care of you, but also she didn’t wanna deny you the pleasure of getting to take control either if that’s what you needed, she’d be happy to receive.
“H-hey um- I have a vibrator in my dresser if-“ You were already reaching for her nightstand before she finished, making Jackie smile as she sat up on her elbows, laughing as you almost fell out of bed, you were just too eager and excited to see how Jackie would respond to pleasure, I mean you thought about, fantasized about it, but to get the real thing? Oh god… You were quick to crawl back to her side, and oh god, the smile on Jackie’s face was so adorable, like she only had eyes for you, leaning down to kiss her delicately before clicking on the tiny pink vibrator, deepening the kiss as you spread her thighs open more, making her sigh out against your lips, her eyes fluttering as you pressed the vibrator to her clit, moaning into your mouth with a shaky gasp, “Y-Y/N, O-Oh fuck- baby…” she was already panting against your lips, laying back in a arch as you circled the vibrator around her clit.
You bit your lip with a soft moan at watching her, making Jackie get louder. Jackie was panting, trembling, and squirming as she gripped at her sheets. When she heard your soft breathes and moans it only spurred her on, her voice getting higher and shakier before screaming slightly as you turned the vibe on a higher pace with a smile, “Y/N!” You only giggled out innocently, sliding your free hand up her torso to her cheek, caressing it while pressing the vibe harder against her clit, wiggling it as you leant down to nuzzle her cheek with a kiss, husking out the words that sent her over the edge, “Cum for me, Jackie…”
As soon as Jackie heard those words and locked eyes with you, she was gasping quickly and tensing, her face twisting into a pained-pleasurable expression while her mouth dropped open in a breathy-whiney moan while trying to maintain eye contact, she came harder than she ever had, screaming out at the intensity of her orgasm and the stimulation on her clit, crying as she lurched up, kissing you roughly so you could swallow her whimpers, slowly calming down into breathy pants, you watched as she slowly started to slump back down in a flushed mess, taking the vibrator off her clit before laying next to her, kissing her cheek, “Your so beautiful Jackie…” she chuckled out breathlessly before whining, her face scrunching up, “I was supposed to make you feel cared for, not the other way around…” You just giggled, you feel alot more comfortable at Jackie’s side after making her cum.
Suddenly after a couple minutes of snuggling and silence, Jackie sat up with a soft look before reaching for your shorts with a experimental tug while locking eyes with you, asking for permission, “A-Are you okay with me- you know… using my mouth on you?” Jackie spoke out so softly, a timid look on her face as she bit her lip with such a pouty look like a puppy, “Please? I wanna taste you, Y/N…” she practically whined out, making you whine at her cuteness, feeling a little embarrassed and self conscious about what she’s going to think about seeing you but Jackie just tapped your thigh, she saw you overthinking so she kissed your inner thigh, “Baby? Hey, i mean it when i say your beautiful. Every. Single. Fucking. Part. Of. You.” She spoke out between kisses as she slowly pulled off your shorts and panties, she looked completely in awe at the sight of your soaked pussy, her breath quickening as you saw her pupils dilate, her lips twitching into a smile, she looked disheveled, wild, primal, she looked like she wanted to devour you.
And devour you, she did.
Jackie immediately got to work at the first nod of permission, she didn’t use her vibrator, she didn’t need it, she was determined to pleasure you and she damn well was gonna show you how much she meant she cared about you, crawling up into her knees as she bent down into a arch, spreading your thighs open while rubbing her hands up and down your inner thighs soothingly, she thought your thighs were so soft and squishy, mumbling out to you, “I can’t wait to have you squeeze your thighs around my head baby.” Her words made your jaw drop, blushing so red as you let out a noise you didn’t know you could make, Jackie just smiled wildly, pushing your thighs up to your chest and holding them there before burying her face between your thighs. She went wild, pushing her tongue straight through your folds like she was starved, sucking on your clit before darting her tongue inside you, making you gasp out a moan, jerking with such surprise at the intensity of her actions. (Fuck, you really didn’t know Jackie was so good at this) Jackie ate you out like a starved woman, moaning and sighing out against your clit, every roll of her tongue and suck made you make noises you didn’t even know existed and Jackie was so fucking proud of herself, when Jackie pushed a finger inside you, you were surprised at how different hers felt from your own, it was different, but Jackie’s fingers were almost as experienced as yours, she knew exactly where to curl and pump, suckling on your clit while she flicked her tongue over your bud all while pumping her fingers at a quicker pace, it wasn’t long before you were trembling and tensing with a loud cry, clamping down on Jackie’s fingers so tight it made her moan as you came, covering her fingers in cum which she licked up every drop, her voice was so husky and hot when she spoke, you were recovering from your earth shattering orgasm, vision still back with muffled hearing as you heard her,
“Good girl, baby.”
You just smiled lazily, panting heavily as Jackie squirmed to lay down beside you, wrapping her arms around your waist to spoon you and kiss your shoulder, “Im so proud of you baby, your so fucking pretty when you cum.” You just rolled your eyes, making Jackie frown a little, tightening her arms around your waist, “Y/N, do I need to fuck you in front of my mirror and make you watch yourself until you believe it?” You choked on nothing at her words, eyes widening with your mouth open in shock at her words.
You had no idea how serious she was to do it either.
(Worked all fucking day on this masterpiece, nobody can convince me Jackie was straight, sorry not sorry)

𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒔; shauna shipman x fem!reader
Summary: shauna shipman sees y/n differently after that night.
Warnings: fluff, smut, slow burn.
Note: English is not my first language.
Tumblr media
"Why are you ginger?!" Some of them exclaimed at the unison.
Shauna rolls her eyes, blushing a little. "I lost a bet." She just said, letting her suitcase on the floor.
Jackie bit her smile, knowing the reason, after all it was a bet between them. The blonde crossed her arms and sat down, the salt on her hair wavering her locks. Shauna glares at her, giving her a sarcastic look.
"Okay. You can change upstairs, you staying with Y/N. Right corner, second door." Lottie informed her, eyeing the pair of friends discreetly.
They all have an entire week in Charlotte's beach house in Lake Key, a big house for all of them. A paradise they can enjoy.
Shauna hummed, scanning the living room and not seeing the mentioned one there, assuming she is upstairs or out in the pool with the rest. She is grateful to have Y/N like a roomie, she is the most tidy of all their friends. The -now- ginger girl changed into a bikini, grabbing her sunscreen, book and going downstairs.
The heat hit her body when she walked in the back garden, her friends having fun in the pool or laying on the grass chatting. Shauna laid a towel next to Taissa in the grass, depositing her things there and throwing herself in the pool, purposely doing it and smirking when they gasp and call her name.
"Shauna!" Y/N exclaimed happily, swimming towards her. "You look beautiful." She innocently said.
If this compliment came from one of her other friends, she would probably show her middle finger. But it's Y/N, the unique innocence of the group, Laura Lee left behind that adjective a long time ago.
"Thanks." Shauna muttered, clearing her throat and reciprocating the hug.
Y/N giggles, separating from the embrace but remaining close. "How's college?"
"Good! Stressing but really good. How about you? I heard you struggled at first." Shauna asks, rubbing the drops from her eyes.
"Yeah... Van went there a few days. I know, I'm like a child. But I spent years seeing your faces and then I didn't." Y/N explained, shrugging.
Shauna gives her a lipped smile. She struggled the first weeks too, used to see them, hang out and play soccer. "I don't think so. I understand what you mean." She shrugs too.
A splash interrupted their conversation, moving their faces to the side avoiding the water hit their faces. Another trail of curses from the ones sunbathing were heard, Natalie and Van ignored them with big smirks on their faces.
"Y/N, Jackie wanted you to go with her." Van commented.
Shauna saw how Y/N bit her lip but nod nonetheless, waving at them and walking out from the pool.
"Poor Y/N. Jackie is trying to corrupt her." Natalie hummed at Shauna, her eyes focused on the mentioned.
"Why?" Shauna asks, following her gaze. Jackie held Y/N's hand and went into the house, Lottie following behind.
"She said 'Y/N needs to wake up and have fun'." Van replied, imitating Jackie's voice. "Usually Lottie keeps an eye on Jackie, just in case." The redhead explains.
Shauna rolls her eyes, so typical of Jackie. However she could understand why, the blonde doesn't want people to mess with Y/N and maybe she has in mind this summer to make her less innocent.
The rest of the day Shauna inverted to catch time with her friends and finish the book she was reading this past day. When Jackie and Y/N returned, the first one had a mischievous smirk on her lips, a pallid Y/N travelled behind with Lottie wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"Where were you guys?" Taissa is the first to ask.
"Discovering the world." Jackie mysteriously said, sitting in a chair and quitting her big black t-shirt, showing her soft orange bikini.
They all frowned by her answer. "I'm afraid to ask... But what did you do to her?" Natalie asks, throwing the uno cards on the towel, piercing her blue eyes on Jackie Taylor.
"Show them." Jackie says at Y/N, smiling reassuringly at her. "It was part of the bet." She shrugs her shoulders.
Lottie put herself in front of Y/N, clearly seeing the struggles on her face and deciding to put a stop. "Enough Jackie. She did it, let her be comfortable."
Shauna squinted her eyes when heard Jackie said bet. Internally she rolled her eyes, what have Jackie with bets? And why does her opponent always lose?
Y/N gave Lottie a grateful look and went to sit down away from Jackie, it needed to be something big when Y/N did it. Van muttered something and stepped towards Y/N, bringing a chair with themselves and sitting next to her. Shauna kept an eye on them while Natalie and Taissa tried to worm out what she did to her.
"It's sexy." Jackie was the only thing she said before walking in again, muttering something about starting to fix up to party up.
Taissa ran after her, the group dissolving slowly to follow Jackie's steps. Shauna waited for Y/N and Van to join her when she stood up and they walked towards her direction.
The three walked in and Van disappeared to the left once they were upstairs, making Y/N and Shauna snort when they commented something about waiting an hour for Taissa to be ready.
"It's a good thing that we have our own bathroom in our bedrooms." Shauna commented, opening the door to their shared bedroom. Y/N hummed behind her, her brown eyes catches her red eyes and the dry cheeks. "Do you want to go shower first?" She offers, letting her things on her bed next to the window.
"No, you can go first. I'm going to see what I can wear." Y/N gave her a smile, going to the closet and opening it.
Shauna muttered okay and grabbed some comfortable clothes, disappearing in the fancy bathroom. She doesn't get too late there, putting her clothes on quickly and brushing her hair while coming back to the bedroom.
"All yours." She said at Y/N, seeing her sitting on her bed and watching outside hugging her knees.
"Those jeans stand out your ass." Y/N giggling said when Shauna gave her back at her. Shauna blushed, letting her brush on her bed. "Shit, it made you feel uncomfortable? I don't say it it's like a bad thing." Y/N rants out, standing up and explaining with her hands.
The compliment deepens her blush, the burn on cheeks worsen it. "It's okay, Y/N. You should shower up, I don't want to hear Natalie bark out later." She avoided it, chuckling nervously by her own comment.
Y/N nods, grabbing her clothes and going in. While Shauna waits for Y/N, she decides to put her clothes in her part of the closet. She was the last to approach there, the others coming two days earlier. She finished and Y/N didn't come out, she is really taking so long.
"I'm ready! Sorry to take so long." Y/N opened the door and came out with a summer yellow and white dress, her burn cheeks framing her beauty. She let out a giggle while putting her earrings when saw Shauna looking at her with her jaw dropped, her brown eyes looking her up and down. "I'm that bad?" She briefly pouts, looking at her dress.
Shauna shakes her head, clearing her throat. "N-No!" She stammered, closing her eyes momentarily. "You look beautiful, Y/N! I just..." Shauna thinks hard for something else to say, her blush intensifying. "You look great." She said poorly, biting her lower lip cursing herself in her mind.
Y/N let out a grin, happily to hear her friend compliment her. "I'm grabbing my purse and we can go down." She let her brush on her bed, just like Shauna and do what she said.
When they approached the living room, some whistling from their friends were heard. "Damn, Y/N! You look hot." Natalie says lowly, eyeing Y/N.
Laura Lee let out a chuckle and pinched Y/N's cheeks. "Stop, Nat! She is blushing." The blonde kindly says, rubbing her hand up and down on her back. "But she is right." She whispered in her ear, however Shauna heard her, making her jaw clenched.
"Thank you girls." Y/N shyly said, side hugging Laura Lee and later Natalie, intertwining her arm with hers.
"Woah! You worked on that ass." Van shocked said, stepping next to her and their jaw dropped when her blue eyes met Y/N's figure. "I died and I went to heaven?"
Shauna shakes her head with a small smile while the others laugh. Their laughter intensified when someone else cleared her throat behind them, a smug Taissa was there with her arms crossed about her chest, raising an eyebrow.
"And you come back to actually die." Natalie smugly said. Van rolled their eyes, glaring at her. The dyed blonde put her hands in the air, but her smirk remains.
"Look at her." Van leaned on Taissa and whispered, signaling with their head towards Y/N.
Taissa rolled her eyes and stepped down, going to the kitchen winking at Y/N when passed by her side, Y/N gave her a sheepish smile and Van trailed behind her.
"Damn, girl!" A raspy voice said behind Shauna, smacking her ass.
"Jackie!" Shauna hissed. However Jackie chuckles to stop abruptly when step next to her, her doe eyes focusing on Y/N.
Lottie passed them and winked at Y/N, making a gesture with her hands at her. "We are going out now!" She hummed, going to the front door.
Natalie made a signal with her hands, stopping them. "We need to check on her all night. I'm not letting any dude rub her up."
"Who?" Y/N asks, confused.
They all looked at each other.
•••
"My head hurts..." Jackie muttered when she got downstairs, sitting in the bar stool next to Shauna and leaning her head on her shoulder, a brief pout on her face.
Shauna snorted, but that simple sound made her flinch, Jackie too. Last night all of them had fun, well, not all of them, they made a bet (yes, other) and Laura Lee lost, meaning that she needed to take care of them (Y/N).
"Be quiet, Shauna." Jackie groaned.
Taissa sat down with a water bottle next to the pair, Van offering to make the lunch that day, since surprisingly they barely drank last night. Lottie offered to help the redhead, but Van pushed her next to Taissa and declined her offer with a gentle smile, making the three people sitting there release a relief breath.
"Where are the others?" Jackie raised her head on Shauna's shoulder, her eyes half open looking at Lottie and Taissa.
Taissa shrugged. "I just came down."
"Nat is asleep. Laura Lee and Y/N are in the pool." Lottie informed them in a low voice, leaning her head in her hand tiredly.
Jackie hummed just in time when Y/N came inside giggling with Laura Lee flying behind her with a grin.
"That smells good, Van. Do you need some help?" Y/N kindly asks, giving a smile to her friends there. Jackie called her with her hands, once Y/N approached Jackie and sat her down on her lap.
"Actually, yes please. Can you cut the vegetables?" The redhead requested her.
Y/N agreed, fighting with Jackie to release her. "Jackie! I need help Van." She said giggling.
"A kiss and I leave you." The blonde demanded, making Shauna roll her eyes.
Y/N didn't think about it too much, kissing her cheek a few times. Jackie unwrapped both arms from her body content when Y/N did what she asked.
Laura Lee sat down next to Lottie, massaging her shoulders with a smile. Shauna gazes at them, curious. Lately, she noticed how those two spent more time together, maybe the fact that they are going to the same college has something to do with it. It's not like Lottie and Laura didn't get along in the past, the brunette spent an amount of time defending Laura Lee from bullies.
Shauna decided to help too, letting a whining Jackie sit alone. She put on the cutlery and offered to wake up Natalie when the food was ready. The lunch passed without too much energy from half of them, the only conversation heard was between Laura Lee, Van and Y/N. Once they are done, Lottie shoves them out and cleans the dirty dishes, but a stubborn Natalie stays and helps her.
"You two put sunscreen on!" Jackie threw at Shauna and Y/N two bottles of it. "I don't want you two to get serious damage for not taking care of your skin." The blonde sternly said.
Shauna opened an eye and saw her stern look on her. She doesn't bother Y/N doing it, because she knows that Y/N is putting sunscreen. She rolled her eyes and opened the top, putting some cream on her burned cheeks.
"Don't forget the rest of your body." Jackie sarcastically said with a smile before she lay down on her towel, next to Shauna.
Y/N gave her a funny look, holding her laugh. Shauna pokes her tongue out, throwing the sunscreen at her when she finishes.
"Jackie! Shauna threw the sunscreen at me." Y/N childish said, laughing when Shauna gave her an offended look.
Jackie gazed at Shauna with a suspicious look, but holding a laugh for Y/N's behaviour.
"I thought she wanted it." Shauna made an excuse, biting her lip. She shrugs her shoulders, waiting for Jackie to look away and give Y/N a warning look, standing up and running after her. She caught her quickly, Y/N was still laughing between her arms. "You regret it." She muttered, throwing Y/N into the pool with a smirk.
A scream fell from her mouth but she was cut when Shauna threw her in the pool. "Shauna!" She exclaimed, wiping her eyes. Shauna has an amused smirk painted on her lips.
"What happened?" Van came, a hawaiian shirt on.
"Van! she threw me here because she can't be an adult." Y/N pointed with a finger at Shauna.
The brunette gasped. "Me!? What about you? You can't be an adult." Shauna exclaimed indignantly, looking at Van, who has an amused smirk on their face, annoying Shauna more.
Van bit their lip and wink to Y/N. Shauna saw it and gasped offended. The redhead pushes her once she stays looking at Y/N. "Sorry, Shauna. I tripped." They feigned regret, but their blue eyes lit with mischief.
"Van." Shauna hissed, scowling next to Y/N, who is laughing by her side.
Y/N wrapped her arms around her shoulder and hugged her. However Shauna nudged her rib, but she missed and nudged her boob, making Y/N let out a pain sound.
"Are you okay?" Shauna gazes at her with worry, seeing the pain on her face. "I don't want to hit that zone..."
"I'm fine." Y/N breath out, putting a hand on her chest.
Shauna notices something when her eyes fall to her chest unconsciously. "Do you have a piercing?" She asks incredulously. All of the people who can wear it, Y/N is not one of them.
Y/N blushed and looked briefly at Van. This one wears a worried expression, not hearing Shauna question. "Yes... I did yesterday."
The ginger opened her eyes and mouth. An idea popping in her mind. "Wait... That's why you all disappeared?" Y/N nodded, still with a hand on her chest.
"I'm going inside." Y/N whispered, going out of the pool and after wrapping a towel around her, she got inside. Shauna felt a little bad, even if she didn't want to give that hit intentionally.
Van patted her back and muttered a reassuring word. When minutes passed and Y/N didn't come out, Shauna decided to check on her. She walked towards their shared bedroom, finding it empty but the bathroom's door closed. She knocked a few times and called her name.
"You can come in." Y/N said.
Shauna opened the door and stopped on her tracks when saw Y/N topless, a red shadow covering her cheeks. "Is it okay?" She asks in a low voice, avoiding her naked chest.
"I think so. It has a red mark but nothing serious." Y/N explained.
Her brown eyes fell to her chest, a metal piercing on her left boob. It seems a little inflamed around the nipple, but that's all. She saw how Y/N put on some cream there.
"It hurt you?" Shauna whispered.
Y/N raised her head and saw a sad expression on her face, her half wet ginger hair covering part of her cheeks, her brown eyes showing more of the colour.
"Don't worry, Shawn. I'm fine." Y/N reassuringly said, giving a smile.
Shauna rolled her eyes. "Don't call me that." She said in a hushed tone. She hates that they call her with that name. She removed her hair from her vision and walked out, sitting on her bed and waited for Y/N to finish.
Y/N came out and sat down on her bed, now with her purple bikini on. Shauna gazes at her, every gesture silently. She wanted to ask some questions, but she doesn't want to overstep. The other raised her eyes to her and watched her expression, standing up and stepping towards her.
"Don't think about it. Let's go out." She grabs her hand and pulls her up. Shauna gave her a lipped smile, wrapping an arm around her waist.
"It's kinda hot." She murmurs, suppressing a laugh when Y/N turns to look at her with raised eyebrows. "I'm surprised you did it. You can use it against Nat when she tells you you need to loosen up." She said joking.
"I will keep it in mind." Y/N said with a thinking face.
•••
That evening they decided to go sightseeing in the small town. Shauna and Jackie split up from their friends and went by their count, sharing the last news on their lives since they are going to different colleges.
Shauna licks her chocolate ice cream, walking by the promenade. Jackie ranting by her side eating her vanilla ice cream.
"That's Y/N?" Jackie interrupted, her eyes focusing in the distance. Shauna followed her eyes and saw not far away Y/N sitting in a bench with Taissa braiding her hair.
They walked towards the pair, waving to an enthusiastic Y/N waving at them. Jackie grabbed her chin and pecked her cheek, offering her ice cream at her.
"No, thank you."
Shauna sat down next to her, Jackie sat down on her lap. She is not bothered by it, actually she is used to this gesture. She remembers when Y/N told her about the bet before and leaned on her ear, muttering something about the piercing. Jackie looks at her with that innocent doe eyes, shrugging.
Y/N has a few strands of hair braided, thanks to Taissa. Shauna's glued on Y/N's profile while the other three started a conversation, she decided to listen to them. This time, Y/N had her cheeks burned from the other day, thanks to Jackie it kept at bay. Her grin warming her chest with every reply Y/N made, always with illusion or loving explaining something at them that they don't know. It doesn't matter how dumb the question is, Y/N never would reply with a bad word.
"Nat and Van went to that pub." Taissa informed them once she finished braid Y/N's hair.
"I want to go to Marco's library." Y/N says, standing up and walking towards the place without receiving a reply from them.
Shauna muttered at them that she goes with Y/N, wanting some new books too. Jackie nodded more relaxed this time. It's funny, the only one challenging Y/N to wake up and she is the first worried about her going alone. The ginger steps quickly to Y/N side, throwing the napkin in the trash.
They walked in, Y/N walking mindlessly through the shelves of books until she reached her destination, romantic novels. Shauna bit the inside of her cheek and wandered to the horror one, the smell of lavender mixed with cinnamon relaxing her.
When Shauna grabbed a book to read the inside cover, to the other side was Y/N with a few books on her hands, a brief frown on her eyebrows. She didn't know why that simple sight made Shauna's heartbeat accelerate. It's the contrast of the white dress with her sun kissed skin, eyes' colour accentuating, plump lips, long eyelashes, or her cute braids on her salt hair? She can't put a finger on it, but feeling attracted to Y/N, it definitely wasn't on her plans for that summer.
"Do you see something interesting?" Lottie startled her, giving a little jump on her spot.
"You scared me." Shauna muttered, glaring at her.
Lottie apologizes, a smirk on her lips. The tall brunette wandered between the shelves, a few books in a hand. Shauna grabbed the book she wanted to read from the past month and followed Lottie, who now is with Y/N.
"I don't know, Lot. I want this, but maybe I could buy it next time." Y/N said, letting saying book again on their place.
She walked to the cash register, Shauna bit her lip and quit off from Lottie's hands the book Y/N left behind a few moments.
"Are you sure?" Lottie asked behind her. However Shauna ignored her and positioned herself behind Y/N to pay.
Once their visit to Lake Key was over, they decided to make dinner and stay there to party, gathering in the living room in a circle. Natalie prepared them their drinks, slowly sipping on it while they chatted.
Until Jackie cleared her throat. "Guys! I want to play a game. What about a simple one, truth or dare?" She proposed, giving a big sip from her ron with coke.
After bickering for a while, they agreed.
"Okay. You go first." Natalie points with her finger at Jackie.
The blonde shrugs, agreeing with it. She chose dare, and Natalie made her swim naked in the pool. Jackie accepted and quit off her clothes while walking outside, their friends laughing with her.
"Alright! I did it, it's my turn to choose." Jackie says with a towel around her body and sitting on the floor. A smirk on her face. "I chose Y/N."
And it made sense for all of them, -less Y/N- why Jackie wanted to play it.
"It's simple. Go to my bedroom and on top of my bed you find what you need to do." Jackie indicated when Y/N chose dare.
Shauna gave her a questioning look, but Jackie ignored her with the same smirk plastered the whole time. They waited a few minutes there waiting for Y/N to come back, chatting animatedly.
Y/N came back, however she changed her clothes. Now she is wearing a red bikini, but a short cover of the full piece. Her demeanor turned shy, chewing her lip nervously.
"Show us!" Jackie exclaimed, clapping with her hands excited.
The silence made in the room once Y/N took off her shorts, turning on heels to them to appreciate the small piece of clothes. Shauna opened her mouth, her pupils dilating from the sight in front of her. She gave a big sip from her drink when felt her mouth dry, the first to speak was Jackie.
"Nice ass, girl!" She cheered her.
Natalie licked her lips, still processing how hot her friend looks. She looked around her, their faces one by one and less Jackie, all of them seemed affected by it.
"That's a dare?" Natalie muttered, trying to play cool.
Jackie glares at her, crossing her arms. "Yes. For Y/N is a good dare, shut up."
"I agree." Van lowly said, their blue eyes dilated and their freckles hiding by a shadow of pink on their cheeks.
"Wait... Is that a piercing?" Taissa frowned, noticing it when her eyes landed on Y/N's chest.
Shauna moves a little uncomfortable, their reactions were immediate, well from the three ones who don't know. Inevitably her eyes fell on Y/N's ass, the heat sprayed inside her body. She made a messy bun, hearing their friends reactions.
"Van knew it." Taissa spoke again, noticing the lack of participation on this.
The redhead guilty shrugged. "I did. She told me the other day."
Y/N put on her shorts again and sat down where she was before, between Lottie and Laura Lee.
The game ended quickly, moving to dance on the improvised dance floor in the living room or the back garden. Usually Shauna hates something related to parties, but these moments, where are her and her friends, she treasures them. Lottie and Laura Lee were talking on the couch, next to a Natalie affected by Y/N revelation, who was happily dancing with her. Shauna drinks in a bar stool while Jackie is making some snacks for them. Van and Taissa chat quietly in a corner with silly smiles on their faces.
Two hours later, Shauna flies behind a giggling Y/N to their shared room. They are the first ones to call it a night, Shauna feels a little relaxed but with her senses intact, while Y/N looks more intoxicated than her.
Once in their respective bed, Shauna hears how her friend can't stop moving. "What's the problem?" She rasped out, her eyes looking in her direction in vain, the darkness didn't let her see properly.
"It sting a little..." Y/N slurred out.
Shauna frowned, but soon understood what she meant. "Then, quit it off." She suggested.
A few seconds later she heard something dropping on the floor followed by a relief sigh. Shauna turned her head, and even if she couldn't see her, she could appreciate her silhouette and it made her jaw clench. Why? Why can't she see her properly why is it turning her on? Maybe it is because she knew about the piercing and it excited her? Shauna groans, now her turn to move on her bed, finding the room very hot right now.
She didn't know when she left herself asleep, but when Shauna opened her eyes, the sun hit directly on her face, the dizziness on her head didn't help at all. She grunts, with her eyes half opened and walks towards the bathroom, noticing the empty bed on her way there.
Shauna takes a short shower, even if she probably would throw herself in the pool, however she didn't want to smell sweaty. She put on her black bikini and put on an old grey sporty shorts and went downstairs, no one was there.
She checked the back garden and there was Y/N, having some breakfast. The girl noticed her and waved, calling with her hand to go there.
"I made breakfast for all, but I'm guessing they would wake up after lunch. That is soon..." Y/N poured coffee in a cup and offered it at Shauna.
"Thanks..." She kindly says, taking it and sitting next to her. She notices the book she bought for her last day, remembering with a smile how Y/N kissed her face and muttering how much she loves her. "You like it?"
"I love it! Amanda is so brave. I wish I could be like her." Y/N commented, biting her toast and continued to read.
"You are brave." Shauna lowly said, sipping from the cup and looking at her.
Y/N gifted her with a warm smile, putting a hand on her forearm. "You are nice. But I'm not. You are brave or Van. But not me."
Shauna frowned, not liking how Y/N talked about herself. "I wish I could see people like you. Or believe everyone is good." She states, grabbing the hand on her forearm between her hands. "You are not afraid of telling them how you feel. I remember when you fought with Jackie in the last year of high school because she mocked Arnold Phillips and you defended him. I was thrilled and she did too." She saw how her cheeks darkened. Shauna appreciates the little messy braids, it even looks better now, she mindlessly puts away a strand of hair, a fond smile when Y/N shrinks because it feels ticklish when her fingertips brushed her neck.
Shauna can't stop looking at her, her hand placing now on her back and caressing it carefully. She leaned on the table, getting closer to her. Y/N brought a hand to her cheek and brushed her thumb there, actually she wiped something there.
"Better." Y/N murmurs, her eyes meeting her brown ones. Shauna swallowed and slowly leaned on her, stopping when their noses brushed with each other. It surprises her when Y/N grabs her face between her hands and kisses her.
It's short but gentle. Shauna chases her a second later, not containing herself and introducing her tongue on Y/N's mouth, exploring and dominating. Her hands were placed on her hips in a firm grip, leaning her head aside to kiss her better. Their lungs burned, making them separate to catch air.
Shauna trailed kisses on her jaw, sneaking a hand under the yellowjackets' shirt she is wearing, caressing her skin. She stopped when Y/N let out a moan, her gaze finding her face.
"Stop looking at me like that... Your stare is deep." Y/N murmurs, looking somewhere else, avoiding her gaze.
The ginger bit her lip, kissing her cheek and separating from her. Bringing her hand out of her shirt and deciding to finish her breakfast.
"You are beautiful, it's not my fault." Shauna replied confidently.
"Shauna!" Y/N whined, making her laugh.
A grunt from behind made them look that direction, seeing a zombie Natalie stepping slowly towards them. She greeted them quietly, pouring an orange juice in a cup and grabbing a croissant.
"You look horrible." Y/N commented, Shauna held her laugh when Natalie glared at her.
"Sorry, miss perfect. Next time I guard you, then I can avoid being the next day like this." She ironically said, signaling herself.
Shauna closed her eyes, the sun kissing her exposed skin and luring her. Natalie commented on them what happened after they left, laughing when Jackie fell or Van hit their face with the glass window.
"Sunscreen." Someone said, something fell on Shauna's lap. The ginger opened her eyes and looked at it and the person who threw it, Charlotte Matthews. "You are matching your hair by now."
Y/N snorted, hiding her mouth with a hand. Lottie wink at her, grabbing some fruit. Shauna poked her finger on her neck and saw how she shrank, giggling and putting away her hand.
They all agreed to spend the day at the beach, to Y/N and Nat's idea. They swim, sunbathing while they relax and play volleyball. Shauna's mind was a spiral, thinking about the kiss she shared with her friend, a friend she thought never saw like something else. The best part? Shauna wants to kiss her again, and wrap her arms around her waist to be nearer her, maybe her hands sneaking to her ass and squeezing it, her lips trailing wet kisses on her neck while Y/N let out moans, like before, then-... Who's that guy? And why is he smirking at her in a flirty manner?
Shauna clenched her fist and stood up, stepping fast towards them and pushing that guy away from Y/N.
"Stay away from her." Shauna scowled with a fierce gaze, putting herself in front of Y/N.
"Shauna! He is a nice boy, stop." Y/N threw the volleyball's ball and helped the blonde guy up.
It infuriated Shauna. "He wants to get on your pants, Y/N!" She gritted, her brown eyes throwing daggers at the innocent blonde boy.
Of course when they went to the beach and Y/N decided to wear what Jackie gifted her last night, some stupid guy should approach.
Fuck Jackie and fuck that guy.
Shauna saw how Y/N removed her gaze from her, her cheeks turning a soft shadow of pink. She felt bad to speak to her like that, usually she would use other words.
"I'm talking with her. That's all, relax." He said in a gentle tone, raising both hands in the air. However Shauna knew better, years being Jackie's best friend teach her experience with the opposite gender. And that guy, wants something else than talking with Y/N.
Shauna gave a sarcastic smile, but before she could give a sardonic comment, Natalie showed up, Lottie behind her with Jackie.
"What happened?" Natalie asks looking at her friends, then her blue eyes notice the blonde guy, making her frown. "Who are you?"
Jackie puts herself next to Shauna, crossing her arms on her chest, while Lottie grabs Y/N's hand, bringing her with hers.
"I'm Neil, nice to meet you." He said, waving with a nervous smile. Shauna snorted mentally, he didn't look like that before.
"Hi, Neil." Natalie said in a fake nice voice, walking towards the tall guy, with every step letting a mark of humid footprint on the sand. "Stay away from her." She patted his shoulder with a low laugh, signaling towards Y/N. "I know the guys like you. Out."
Neil bit his lip, his eyes falling on Y/N. Then, he gave a quiet laugh, his demeanor changing completely. "You all can't be protecting her forever." He muttered, a smug smirk playing on his lips before he turned on his heels and walked out.
Jackie held Natalie's wrist, the same with Shauna. "Stop! That stupid is gone." She murmurs, pushing them both to where they are.
Shauna's eyes fell on Y/N, who is with Lottie. She left behind the bickering that Jackie and Natalie started and grabbed her wrist kindly, stopping their friends.
"Can I talk to you?" Shauna timid asks. Y/N nods slowly, Lottie let them some privacy walking back to her place on the towel. The ginger took her to the seashore, this time her hand intertwined with Y/N's one, playing with her fingers. "I'm sorry to say that." She started, looking at her surroundings. "I don't like the way he was looking at you and... I should let you choose if you want to talk with him or not." She finishes, knowing very well that she will interfere if some dude tries something with her.
Y/N caressed the palm of her hand with her thumb. "Are you jealous?" She hummed, stepping closer.
Shauna frowned, her gaze now on her smug eyes. "No. I'm not. I only... I want the best for you. That's all." She said, shrugging her shoulders.
Why does Y/N think she is jealous? I mean, Natalie acted like her too, is she jealous too? Shauna let out a scoff for this thought.
"I'm jealous." Y/N admitted in a calm tone.
This confession made her feel more confused. "Why?" She can't hide her stupor.
"I saw a few boys looking at you. Your ass. They eat you with his eyes. I don't like it." Y/N explained, her turn to shrug her shoulders.
Shauna relaxed. She didn't notice their eyes on her, thankfully. But she notices the only one on Y/N, and maybe, just maybe, Shauna felt the same.
"You don't need to worry. I'm not interested in them." Shauna whispers, letting her hand out but embracing her waist with an arm and hiding her head on her neck. She feels how Y/N relaxed on her arms and wrapped hers on her neck, playing with her hair.
"I want to kiss you..." Y/N shyly said, a lipped smile on her face when Shauna fixed her chocolate eyes on her.
"I can make an excuse and go home and kiss." Shauna offered, hearing how Y/N let out a melodic laugh, inevitably painting an involuntary smile on her face.

It's been three days since Shauna and Y/N kissed for the first time. Three days that they can't stop kissing. They shared this affection where they are alone in their room, away from their friends or when they are around them, when they aren't looking Y/N stole a kiss from her lips, letting Shauna speechless.
A sigh hit Shauna's face when she separated from her bruised and red lips. Her fingers caressed her cheek and removed a strand of hair from her face, giggling softly while memorizing her features for later fantasizing with her or rant on her journal about how Y/N makes her feel.
They are laying on Shauna's bed, the rays of the full moon hitting Y/N's face, it's time like this Shauna doesn't hate that window. Y/N's hand is playing with her ginger hair, pulling at it every time Shauna bit her lip or sucked her tongue.
"Are you fine there?" Shauna hummed with a hoarse voice, brushing her nose with hers. She can avoid hiding her smugness.
They don't trespass to the other step. It's not like Shauna didn't think about it, it's mainly for Y/N, she didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable, so she happily accepts it.
"Here is hot..." She whispered, with a hand fan herself.
"The window is open." Shauna commented, looking briefly at the window.
"Shauna." Y/N calls her in a soft voice, the mentioned turned to look at her. "Do you feel attracted to me?" Shauna could appreciate how shy Y/N asked this.
"Y/N, I can't stop thinking about you. It's weird to say it loudly, but you are in my mind a lot." Shauna admitted, the burn on cheeks got a bay thanks to Jackie or Lottie to put sunscreen on. But she can feel the warmth on her cheeks just like if that same afternoon she burned all over again.
"You are in my mind too, Shippy. It's funny to think now how intimidated I felt about you in high school." Shauna frowned. Y/N saw her and immediately clarified. "You are hard to let people in, always attached to Jackie and I told you about it before, your gaze is so deep that I feared you could know what I'm thinking."
"That's why you nodded or gave me a short answer?" Shauna asks quietly, now understanding a few things. Y/N hummed an affirmative. "You are right, I don't let people know me easily. But I never would treat you or let anyone talk to you badly. I... We fought with some asshole to defend you. Don't ask and think about them, they are stupid." Shauna says quickly after her confession. "Why do you ask about me that...?" She tried to change the subject, also mostly for curiosity.
"I want to have sex with you." Shauna sometimes forgets how direct she is. Her blush deepens, gladly the dark hides her cheeks.
But it surprises her how natural she said it, and it made her think about it. "Have you had sex before?" She asks, it's the first time she actually thinks Y/N had sex before, she wondered about it but soon dismissed it.
Y/N nods, moving her head to a side. "Why you ask?" Shauna stares at her shocked, her mouth half open and holding her breath. Y/N roll her eyes, it didn't surprise her Shauna having that reaction, it's the same Van had when she told them. "I know that you all think I'm innocent, something I will not discuss... But I'm curious too."
"Sorry..." She apologised, breathing normally again. She blinked a few times, questions popping on her head. "Who? I mean, I know him?" She asks in a low voice.
"No, he is a college friend."
Shauna nods, laying fully by her side. She huffed, rubbing her eyes. "I need to ask it." She said, putting her hands down and fixing her eyes on her, seeing her curious eyes on her. "Did you do it because you wanted?"
"Yeah... I never would do something I don't want." This answer calmed Shauna, thankful Y/N didn't feel social pressure and did it for that.
"Can we go to sleep?" Shauna murmurs, feeling tired. Y/N hummed with a small smile, she kissed Shauna's cheek and proceeded to stand up, but the ginger stopped her, wrapping an arm now on her waist. "Stay here."
They fell asleep with Shauna hugging Y/N, many thoughts in her mind, dissipate when the other started to play with her hair, something Y/N likes and she didn't complain.
The next morning when they woke up and got downstairs, too quiet and finding a note in the fridge.
"We are at the beach, see you there. Jackie xx." Y/N read out loud. "And why didn't they wake up us? I would do it. You know what? I don't feel like going to the beach, if you want to go, have fun." She said in an adorable piss voice, in Shauna's opinion. She walked around and started to make breakfast.
"I like your idea. What do you want to do?" Shauna hummed, going to hug her from behind and kissing her shoulder.
Y/N looks up, thinking. "I want to go eat ice cream in Lake Key. Tomorrow we will get stuck here doing our suitcases and cleaning the house."
On Friday, they all would go to Wiskayok and finish the summer there before coming back to their respective colleges.
Shauna removed her hair aside, peppering kisses on her neck. "I like that." She just wants to spend some time alone with her before they come back.
So that's what they did. After finishing breakfast they changed their clothes and adventure to the small town. It's weird how freely they felt with every shared kiss without worry if someone saw them and judged. It helps that the only way is a solitary dirt road, nobody lives for that area, only the Matthews' family.
They let out their intertwined hands once they entered the town, exploring some places that they never went to before or just walking while laughing for anything. They agreed to eat the ice cream after lunch, for Shauna's luck because she made a little picnic, surprising Y/N.
It's the soft laugh that Y/N let out when Shauna awakened from her mind, too entrance on studying every feature, line and simple detail on Y/N's face that she zoned out. Shauna left the throwable plate on the grass, clearing her throat.
"Have a date with me." Shauna blurted out, mostly because she was rephrasing it in her mind and it slipped out. She blushes the moment she realizes how she asked this. Exchange Y/N raised her head and slowly formed a smile. "What I want to say is that... I thought about us, and I want to go on a proper date with you, if you want of course."
Y/N put her hand on top of hers. "I love to."
"Really?" Shauna asked, a little speechless. Y/N giggles by her reaction, nodding with her head. "You don't would regret it, I promise." She reassured her, carefully intertwining their fingers.
After they finished, Shauna stubbornly paid for their ice cream. They eat it while they walk towards the house, holding hands the moment they step out of the town. Laughs filled the way, ice cream kisses and rosy cheeks.
Shauna let her hand once they approached the fence, opening the doors and letting Y/N pass first. They come back and the house is still empty.
"I want to lay on the sofa, my feet hurt." Y/N commented, letting her bag on the coat stand and laying down in the black couch.
"Come here, I'll take you upstairs." Shauna offered, opening her arms for her to jump.
Y/N let out a delighted sound and jumped on her arms, wrapping her legs on her waist and both arms around her shoulders, leaning her head there too. Shauna held her and walked towards their bedroom, laying Y/N on her bed carefully and getting on top of her when Y/N grabbed her t-shirt and pulled Shauna towards hers.
With only a look, Shauna knew what Y/N wanted. She wants it too, if she is being honest, but what happens if their friends come and surprise them by doing it?
"Are you sure?" Shauna asks in a gentle whisper, her hair coming to her eyes and private to her to keep gazing Y/N, until this one removes with her fingers the strand of hair out. Her hands are too busy supporting her weight on the mattress.
"Very sure." Y/N whispered back, closing the distance and smashing her lips on hers.
Shauna let out a low moan, reciprocating it and soon turning in a hungry kiss. A hand sneaks under her baby blue shirt, slowly tracing her abdomen until reach her chest, squeezing with the bra on, feeling the piercing there. She grunted on the kiss when she felt it, breaking the kiss and taking off her shirt, delighted by the views.
Y/N pulls Shauna's shirt, making the ginger to raise her arms up, letting Y/N take it out. Her brown eyes admired how Y/N held her breath when her gaze met her abdomen, a smirk creeping on her face. A finger traced her stomach, gently scratching her abs.
"I think we have some weaknesses..." Shauna rasped out, chuckling.
"You kept playing soccer?"
Shauna nods. "Yeah. Casually my first friends played soccer and they created a team, like a hobby. I don't mind play there sometime." She explains.
Y/N's fingers get lost on her hair, pressing her head towards hers and starting another kiss. They slowly took out their clothes, Shauna's mouth went immediately on Y/N's chest, no resistance anymore and took her left nipple on her mouth, biting there and tasting the metal too, gaining a whimper by Y/N and her nails digging on her shoulders.
Shauna spent a long time there, when she got satisfied, admiring the new red marks and saliva covered on Y/N's chest, with her red lips peppered wet kisses until reach her mouth, giving her a languid kiss.
After they need to breathe again, Shauna takes advantage when Y/N still has her eyes closed and slowly sneaks her right hand between her thighs, soon meeting how wet Y/N is between her fingers. The ginger let out a groan, her dilated brown eyes catching sight of -now half open- Y/N's eyes and reddened cheeks. While they keep gazing at each other, her hand meets Y/N's entrance and without warning introducing a finger, grunting when she notices how tight she is.
Her nails digged on her shoulders once again, making Shauna let out a hiss of pain. A soft sound escaped from Y/N's mouth, once she felt comfortable with her finger inside of her, Shauna started to move it slowly while her thumb rubbed circles, creating more sounds slipping from her mouth, making Shauna drunk hearing them.
Another finger was introduced, her movements becoming faster and the first moans echoing in the room. Shauna involuntarily starts to move her hips in search of some friction, the wetness on her center increasing. The sweat on their bodies is more present, their hair stinging on their faces, framing their faces in a sexy form. With three fingers inside Y/N, her orgasm is near.
Shauna gave her a wet kiss, unable to control. Y/N came on her fingers, muffling her orgasm in her mouth. Their chest moved in sync, their lungs asking for air. The ginger took her hand out of her, the free one on top of Y/N's knee while slowly, her right one approaches her vision, the smell hitting her nose. After a few seconds where her eyes stuck looking at her hand, she took it to her mouth, a porn sound slipped from her mouth the moment her fingers met her tongue, testing Y/N. Her eyes rolled behind her head, her tongue wrapping her fingers and sucking slowly, testing every fluid.
When she opened them again, was met by hypnotised eyes gazing at her, biting her lip. Shauna let out a small smirk, putting down her now clean hand. Before she could make a comment, Y/N changed their positions, now Shauna is laying her back on the mattress and Y/N is straddling her. Shauna put both hands on her knees, caressing them, gazing at Y/N from a new angle. Her eyes fell from her marked chest to her half hidden shaved pussy, meeting her stomach side.
"Promise me something." Y/N said in a scratchy voice, calling her attention.
Shauna nods, captivated by her beauty. "Anything."
Y/N gave her a small grin, leaning her head to the same level as her, lowering it a few centimeters. "Don't dye your hair. I love how this colour looks on you... It matches your eyes, making them have a deeper look, if that is possible..." She ranted, admiring her ginger hair sprayed out on the pillow in soft waves. "You look good too with your natural colour hair, but this one... I really like it." She finishes in a low voice.
"I promise you that I will have it for a long time from now on." Shauna said with a cheeky smile, knowing very well that she would be stuck with that hair colour only for her. Then, she put a hand on her back neck and pushed her face towards hers, sealing the promise with a passionate kiss.
When Y/N moved her hips involuntarily, Shauna felt a patch of wetness on her abdomen, and groaning by this, she took both hands on her waist in a firm grip, probably letting some bruises there, and slowly pushed her a little, making friction on her sensitive spot.
"Can I...?" Y/N whispered, timid.
Shauna removed her hair from her face and nodded, after all she incite to do it. "You can ride my abs." She said in a deep voice, hearing the strong breathing falling from her lover's lips.
And she did it, up and down, at first with slow movements. It will become faster soon, Shauna is delighted by the sight in front of her. She clenched her abs when noticed Y/N was coming, with her head back and both hands on Shauna's sides. Y/N gave a final thrust, screaming for pleasure and falling on top of her, exhausted.
Shauna caressed her back tenderly, feeling a warm liquid fell on her stomach. She swallowed hard, she felt a little frustrated sexually talking. Shauna thought that watching Y/N had her pleasure, she didn't need it now, but... She is wrong. She let Y/N recover her breath, playing with her hair without the necessity to use words.
Y/N hummed contents, peppering kisses on her naked shoulder until her neck, biting gently there, gaining a low moan from Shauna. Her nails scratched Y/N's thigh, a loud hiss slipped from their mouths. Shauna observed when Y/N slowly started to go down, she paid attention to her chest, but not staying too much time there, preferring to bite her stomach a few times.
"I'm not shave..." Shauna said panting, a little embarrassed. Y/N raised her head frowning, seeing how Shauna closed her eyes, her cheeks turning more red.
"I don't care, Shippy." Y/N snorted innocent. It made Shauna open her eyes, seeing a brief frown on Y/N's eyebrows. "And I think if you shave now, you would cut yourself." She said looking down, the face she put on made Shauna relax and chuckle.
Y/N bit her lip and looked at Shauna, asking with her eyes. The ginger nods, her breathing stuck on her throat, but not keeping her eyes away from her. Y/N give her some wet mouthed kisses on her thigh, getting closer. Shauna opened her legs more to let Y/N put herself between knees, and her mouth immediately met her center, giving a long lick. Shauna let out a moan, biting her lip and scratching the pillow next to her. She can feel Y/N's nails on her thighs, her tongue getting deep inside her and recollecting the wetness she had from seeing Y/N cum two times.
A hand squeezed her chest, hard. If the moment doesn't require her to think, she would ask how in hell Y/N is doing it so well. Shauna is close, she is worked up and her orgasm is approaching, with hand on Y/N's head, pressing her face on the exact part where she wants and with the room filling her moans, Shauna released on her mouth with a guttural moan, her legs shaking.
With half open eyes and an irregular breathing, Shauna saw Y/N's chin covered by her cum, her hair mess and sweat covering her body. She raised half of her body and grabbed her face between her hands, kissing hard.
"SHAUNA, Y/N! ARE YOU TWO HERE?" Jackie interrupted them. They shared a panicked look and soon they started to put on their clothes. For their luck Jackie was downstairs, at least they could be dissimulate, only if the blonde didn't get upstairs and entered there, then they screwed up.
"Go to the bathroom!" Shauna said in a low voice, putting on her big shirt. "I'm going to distract her. Get down for around 5 minutes." She explains, putting her hair in a messy bun.
Y/N nods, disappearing on say place.
Shauna stepped down and saw her friends there, embarrassed she waved them with a hand. "Hey, Y/N is in the bathroom." She cleared her throat, avoiding Jackie's hazel eyes and going to the kitchen for water, because she really needed it.
Jackie hummed, following her. "We were worried. I thought you two would come."
"Y/N didn't like you don't wake us up and we went to the town." She explains, shrugging and giving her an apologetic lipped smile.
"I told you..." Van walked next to Jackie and sang, letting some things on top of the countertop.
"Y/N! ARE YOU MAD AT ME?" Another person would wait to ask this face to face, but it's Jackie and she went to the top of the staircase, looking up to an empty hall.
"NOT ANYMORE!" Another scream was heard, Shauna shaking her head with a smirk while sip from the cup.
"DO YOU WANT TO COME TO THE MOVIES WITH ME AND I COMPENSATE YOU?" Jackie asked hopefully, even if her told her that she wasn't mad at her.
Y/N approaches her vision, she took a shower and now has a lilac top belonging to Shauna with a black shorts, a small smile resting on her lips. "Okay. I missed our dates." She can't resist and hugs Jackie.
"She is so weak. We need to make her stronger." Van commented with a frown, looking at them.
Shauna snorted. "Which one?"
•••
Summer passed faster, and Shauna knew it.
With dreamy eyes and a silly smile, she recounted every date she had with Y/N these past two months, her favourite one was when she asked Y/N to be her girlfriend and she said no because Y/N wanted to ask her to be her girlfriend. After discussing it for a few minutes, Shauna gave up the moment Y/N gave her puppy eyes.
She sneaked every night to Y/N's house, going to sleep together and fearing she couldn't do it the moment they couldn't hold each other when they came back to their respective colleges. Many hidden kisses, desire to do what they did that week in her friend's house, but they gave up every time they tried, and something or someone interrupted them, so they happily did other things.
Like talk. They can talk for hours. It's something that Shauna adored about their night laying on the bed, talking about anything in particular or knowing Y/N unknown's side. She comprehends her better, and mentally grateful for choosing her to share her secrets, her dream passion or just to not run away from her with her weird persona.
About their friends, well... They agreed to not tell them anything. Y/N commented at Shauna about telling them their relationship at the end of the summer, only if she wants too. Shauna nodded, unsure. She wishes that she was more like Y/N in that aspect, not fearing what people could say, and less with her friends, the ginger knew that they can't say anything bad. But they are in 1997, and until this date, Shauna saw hate about it.
"What are you thinking about?" Y/N interrupted her thoughts, balancing their hands while they walked to Shauna's car. They went to the woods to walk, enjoying some time alone. The night arrived and the hour to the meeting with their friends was approaching. Because they would tell them about their relationship.
"About... How beautiful you are." Shauna commented, holding her laugh when Y/N shoved her playful.
The nights in Wiskayok by this time of the year usually are breezy, and Shauna wears one of her famous flannel on, Y/N was wearing one of hers too because she was stubborn to not grab any jackets and luckily Shauna had one in her car.
The car approached their vision, Shauna wrapped an arm around Y/N's shoulders and gently opened the copilot door, gaining a kiss on her cheek the moment she sat down on her seat.
"We need to pick up Jackie." Y/N commented, searching for some songs she likes on the radio.
"Believe me, I know." Shauna rolled her eyes, used to her friend's princess side.
The ride to Jackie's home was filled with Y/N humming the song playing on the radio, Shauna tapped the wheel to the beat of the song, humming quietly too. She honked a few times when they arrived, praying that Jackie doesn't take too long.
Shauna put a hand on Y/N's knee, caressing the exposed skin with her thumb. Her brown eyes softened seeing her profile, her mind calming down the spiral that usually she is in.
"You sure about this?" The ginger, less now, but still glowing, asked. Y/N put a hand on hers and nod with a smile.
"Yeah. I want to kiss you in front of my friends. Our friends." Y/N whispered, playing with her fingers.
Shauna can't hold the smile anymore. "And I want to kiss you every hour... Is this sane?" She joked, leaning to kiss her cheek.
Y/N shakes her head, giggling.
Shauna removed her hand when she heard a door opening. She looked behind and saw Jackie Taylor get in, shivering a little and she had a jacket on.
"Put on the calefaction, Shauna." Jackie said, closing the door.
"Hello to you too, and not. I'm not going to put it. It's not that cold." Shauna said, starting the car. She heard how Jackie let out a gasp.
"Open the right seat, there is a blanket." Y/N commented before they could get entangled by another silly discussion.
Jackie says loudly how much she loves her, making Y/N laugh and Shauna rolled her eyes. They are approaching Lottie's house, the last reunion until Thanksgiving. They decided to spend their time together in a quiet place, and since Lottie's parents are out the major part of the time, she offered to hold the little party.
"The last ones!" Van opened the front door, putting them to a side to let them pass in. Y/N is the first one to hug the redhead, from the whole gang, Van and Y/N had a special bond.
Y/N let Shauna, Jackie and Van behind and she adventure into the big living room, usually quiet and empty, now filled with laughter and life.
"There you are!" Lottie saw her and stood up with a happy smile, engulfing Y/N in a hug. "I'm gonna miss you a lot." She whispered when they separated.
"I hope you miss us a lot too..." Natalie commented behind her, a teasing smirk on her plump lips. Then, she envelopes Y/N in a hug.
Lottie rolled her eyes. "Don't get jealous, Scatorccio. I will miss you too, less than the rest but still I'm going to miss you." Her dark eyes lit with mischief, taking her red cup to her mouth.
Before Nat could reply back, Taissa interrupted them by pushing the blue eyed girl to a side and taking her turn to hug Y/N. Shauna and Jackie approached there and greeted them with hugs too.
They sit down next to each other, recounting old anecdotes or telling the new ones. Shauna was quiet, hearing them and sipping from her red cup while her eyes travelled to the storyteller. Y/N nudges her side, giving her a silly face when she turns to look at her.
"You are an idiot." Shauna leaned on her ear and whispered with a loving smile.
Y/N makes an offended face, putting a hand on her chest. Shauna rolls her eyes, but her smile remains.
"I will remind you later when you want to kiss me..." She whispered in her ear, licking her lips when she separated.
Her brown eyes opened, big and deep. Without noticing she gave her puppy eyes, not liking the idea of not kissing her. Y/N couldn't resist her eyes and without thinking too much, she grabbed her chin and pecked her lips.
Shauna froze on her seat, the place getting quiet and feeling all eyes on them. She cleared her throat, her surprise eyes going to normal but refusing to look at them. Y/N frowned when she paid attention to them, at first confused but soon realising what she did.
"Oh my god! Shit, I'm sorry Shippy." Y/N apologised with her girlfriend.
"Shippy? She hates that. This is serious." Van was the first to comment.
Shauna looks at her redhead friend, frowning. "She is the only one who can call like that." She warned them.
Y/N saw their unreadable expressions and decided to clarify. "We are in a relationship." She told them.
"Are you corrupting her!?" Jackie exclaimed, a shock expression plastered on her face.
"She's not! And you started corrupting me." Y/N said. "We like each other and decided to date. We wanted to tell you tonight, in a different manner... I hope it's okay with you guys." She said softly, playing with her fingers.
"Me and Taissa are in a relationship." Van said casually, Taissa nodded next to them.
"We are too..." Lottie comments, giving a soft look to the blonde.
Shauna opened her mouth, surprised and Y/N painted a small smile. "So, all of us like women? We are cool then." Jackie says, all looks on her now. "What? I appreciate women too." She said shrugging, taking her red cup to her lips.
"We knew that. We thought in high school that you and Shauna were dating. When we found that you didn't then we assumed during college maybe you get together." Natalie explained in an obvious tone.
"I agree." Y/N says, receiving an incredulous look from her girlfriend. "You look cute together if that helps."
"She corrupted me." Shauna said, looking at all of them. Y/N calls her name in a whine, while their friends laugh.
The rest of the night they enjoyed their time together, explaining the new unknown sides and all of them gave a talk to Shauna.

Party foul.
SUMMARY - skipping practice and getting caught partying.
3.2k words. Jackie Taylor x Fem! Reader.
TW - alcohol, some jerk tries to take advantage of the reader.
Tumblr media
Normally you would walk to practice with Taissa after class, but today you managed to slip out earlier. After finishing your lab you politely asked your teacher to go to the library, but you already gathered all your stuff and headed toward the door before she could even respond. As a teacher’s pet your teacher lets you go knowing your intentions were probably for good. Little did she know that you were going to ditch class and help your friends set up for a party later. Walking with purpose, you meet your friends in the parking lot before any of the yellowjackets could have noticed that you were gone.
As the bell rings, Taissa packs up her stuff and looks over toward your desk to notice that you were missing. It wasn’t out of the norm for you to go to practice early once you finished your work, but usually, you would have given her a heads-up. She contemplates whether or not she did something wrong that caused you to leave in such a hurry, but nonetheless, she walked towards the locker room expecting you to be there.
Usually on Fridays, the yellowjackets would have a game, but this week was their bi-week. However, with the absence of a game in the schedule, the captain decided that they should put in extra work and add an extra practice.
Once Tai was in the locker room she glanced around looking for you, but to her findings, you were not there. “Hey has anyone seen y/n?” she questioned before no one was able to confirm the whereabouts of your presence. “I'm sure she’ll be here, she never misses a practice. Maybe she went to turn in work before practice started? I mean technically she has till we start stretching on the field until she’s officially late.” Van acknowledges in attempts to make sense of your sudden disappearance. “Yeah, you're right… She was just acting a little weird today.” Tai admits before beginning to get ready to head out to the field. “I'm sure the Lord will lead her to practice safely! We should not have to worry for her.” Laura optimistically states before she goes out to the field. “Hopefully she gets here before Jackie starts terrorizing us for letting her get away with this,” Natalie said bluntly as she also headed out for practice. The rest of the girls hummed in response not particularly defending you as they finished getting ready and headed out to the field.
While they were about to start practice your friends voted that you should be the one to go on beer runs due to your charm, but you knew that they were just afraid to do it. You agreed with hesitation as your friends chipped in a bunch of money. Counting up the cash they drove to the liquor store that has a reputation for letting teens slide. Sighing nervously, you exited the car as you entered the store and smiled slightly at the man before heading towards shelves that had brands you were familiar with. Building up the courage to ask the man for help collecting some drinks, you looked towards him before asking timidly “Can I have a little help over here? I think I'm biting off more than I can chew and buying more than I will be able to carry…:”. The owner was quick to jump to help as he brought over two boxes to put the drinks in while grinning at you widely already suspecting what you were doing. “So what do you need all of this alcohol for? Big party tonight?” he asked as he started helping to put drinks that you pulled out into the boxes. “Something like that… we are having a wedding on Sunday and being the life of the party I decided to go out of the way to make it a little more fun.” lying straight through your teeth as you smiled at him. “Oh yeah? Who’s getting married? I know almost everyone in this town,” he challenged unconvinced by your previous statement. “Oh it's a distant cousin. My mom owns the local wedding venue by the lake so she offered the place completely free of charge.” quickly made up a response as you finished putting the drinks in the boxes and going to lift one in an attempt to avoid eye contact. “Well, congratulations to them!” He said chuckling as he picked up the other box and went towards the counter to ring you up. He rings up about three hundred dollars worth of alcohol before he says “Can I see your ID?”. You looked at him afraid. ’Shit’ you thought as you stumbled getting out your wallet to look through it to make it look like you were looking for an ID before he announces “I’m just kidding. You should of saw the look on your face! Will that be cash or card?” he laughs out loud as he waits for a response. ‘Very funny’ you thought sarcastically before faking a smile at him “Cash.” You hand him the wad of cash your friends gave you and once he hands back the change you were quick to pocket it. “Do you need any help carrying this to your car?” he asked genuinely but you responded quickly “Don't worry about it, I’ll just make the two trips,” you said hurriedly as you grabbed one box and brought it to the trunk of the car. One of the guys was leaning on it and he offered to quickly take the box and put it in the trunk smirking. As you went back in to get the final box the owner looks at you genuinely before saying “Have fun kid.” with a smile. Smiling back as a response you brought the second box giddily as you were surprised with what you got away with. As you hand off the box to the boy you jumped in the car ecstatic already looking forward to the night.
Back at practice, Jackie was quick to notice your absence. “Where’s y/l/n? Is she sick?” she asked a little frustrated that you did not inform her earlier of your absence. After a moment of silence, Tai jumped in “She disappeared during class… maybe she was not feeling well?” Tai offered in an attempt to save you. “Not feeling well my ass, I'm sure she would have said something,” Jackie remarked quickly as all of the girls started to stretch. Once practice was over Jackie was determined to find your whereabouts and shun you for not being a team player and participating. Some reasons were thrown out there about why you might have not shown up to practice today, but none of them made sense. They moved on to start practice and time seemed to fly by as the sun was already down. They were over before they knew it and back in the locker room. As they all were finishing up for the day Lottie received a text before she summarized it out loud “...seems like there's a party at y/n’s friend's house and it looks like she’s already there.” Lottie smirks as the other girls crowd around her. Her phone had a picture of you and your friend, Jake, who draped his arms around you seemingly already drunk out of your minds. “You got to be kidding me…” Jackie scoffs as a tinge of jealousy is evident on her face. ” Who knew she had the balls in her!” Van announces loudly laughing before continuing “...I think I know where we should go tonight!” Van suggests an attempt to start a little drama.”I swear, y/l/n will never be able to step on the field again after this.” Jackie said frustrated as she walked out of the locker room to hurry home. The girls left in the locker room looked around a little astonished by their captain’s urgency but were overcome with excitement as they planned to go to the party.
Once Jackie finished picking out an outfit with Shauna they waited for Jeff to take them to the party. “I can’t believe she would do this to us. We are so close to making it to the championships and she’s being completely reckless. Then she had that guy hanging off her as if she has no care about her reputation. It makes the team look bad!” she rambles on to her best friend complaining about your actions, but she was full of jealousy. “Jackie, the girl skips once and it’s almost the end of the world. Let us be realistic now.” Shauna says sarcastically over Jackie's complaints “Why do you care anyways? It’s like your obsessed with her.” she chuckles lightly as she turns to Jackie looking at herself in the mirror. “I’m not obsessed! I just care about the team! I mean she’s out throwing a rager in little to no clothes and expects the school to take us seriously?” Jackie sighs as she clearly could not hide her jealousness. “I think it might be much deeper than that… I’m sure once you find her you guys can have a conversation about our reputation and your obsession…” Shauna jokes knowingly before dodging a pillow Jackie threw at her. “Oh shut up! She won’t even make it out alive!” Jackie plays along before being interrupted by Jeff honking his horn. “We better get going before she won't even be able to remember your attack.” Shauna snickers as they head out to go to the party.
You wandered around the party completely lost as your friends ditched you half an hour ago to play a game of beer pong. Holding a cup with your name smeared on it and wearing a pair of glasses that were not yours it was not difficult to tell your a few drinks away before making decisions you will regret later. Stumbling towards the kitchen you ran into a couple of football players and their girlfriends. You grin up at them before attempting to get to the counter to fill up another drink as you take off the glasses, but before you could make it a tall guy steps into your view. “Hey gorgeous!” he said smugly before continuing “...if you're looking to fill your cup you're out of luck.” This was the worse thing you heard all night as you looked around the kitchen and only saw empty bottles “Noooooo!” you slurred completely devastated. “Hey calm down! Im sure there might be some more downstairs in the bar room…” he said chuckling as you were completely unaware of his intentions. The idea of another drink excited you before exclaiming “Really? Where?”. He smirks down at you before taking you down the hall and opening the stairs to the basement. Before anything happens the yellowjackets arrived at the perfect time as Lottie grabs onto your arm pulling you away from the guy. “What the hell do you think you’re doing with her?” Lottie yelled as Jackie followed after her shortly after noticing the situation. Jackie did not hesitate to grab your waist before pulling you to her side as she looked menacingly at the guy “Who do you even think you are, asshole? No wonder you’re single you can't even get a girl when she’s sober, so you try to take advantage of them! Get the hell out of here!” She screamed out at the boy. He mumbles a ‘screw you’ under his breath before he backs down from fighting the girl's soccer captain.
She looked down at you as her heart broke at the idea of your friends leaving you alone at the party in such a vulnerable state. Noticing tears were threatening to spill from your eyes she looked up at Lottie before saying “Can you make sure to tell off her friends? I Can’t even stand the idea of those losers right now.” She huffed out. Lottie nodded understandingly as she left off to complete her mission.
Jackie began to lead you outside to allow you to get a breath of fresh air. She lead you to where all the cars were parked, but she still held you close by her side embracing your warmth. Begrudgingly pulling away from you, she gently holds your shoulders to look into your eyes in an attempt to read the thoughts in your mind. “I don’t think you understand half of how worried and frustrated I am right now,” she said clearly before going to cup your face to wipe off your tears. As she held onto your face you looked down at her lips before back at her eyes. The liquor started talking to you as you leaned in quickly and kissed her softly. Jackie was stunned by the sudden outburst but did nothing to stop you. “y/n..” she whispered after pulling away to read the emotions on your face. In attempts to sober up quickly, you looked at Jackie to find a response before admitting “You don’t know how long I was waiting for that.” but you consciously facepalmed yourself. “Oh, god no, sorry Jackie… I didn’t mean it like that… but also I did…” you said slurring and stumbling over your words as Jackie smiled down at you a little amused at your performance. “What I meant to say is thank you, for saving me, and I’m sorry for skipping,” you said still clearly tipsy but Jackie acknowledges your statements. “We’ll talk about it later when you're in a clear headspace and sober.” She said smirking.
You continued your drunken rambles saying “...but I meant the kiss, Jacks… I mean come on! Have you met yourself!” laughing as Jackie starts to walk in the direction of your home that wasn’t too far from the party. She smiles softly at your comment, “Let’s get you back home before you regret something later” chuckling as she wrapped an arm around you to prevent you from falling and injuring yourself as the two walked. “Trust me, I haven’t yet made a decision bad enough that I will regret it! Besides, you’re my knight in shining armor!” gazing up at her with a loving look as she blushed at your comment. “Wait till the other girls find out that you have a soft spot for me! You’ll never hear the end of their teasing.” you continued as she held onto you even tighter. “Well, maybe I would take all the teasing in the world to make sure you are safe.” She admitted and now it was your turn to blush. She truly believes the saying that drunk words are sober thoughts, so she was a little happy that you ended up safe in her arms this night confessing.
Once you got home you clumsily lead her into your backyard to sneak in your bedroom window.  You had no idea whether or not your parents were home, but it was better to be safe than sorry to avoid getting caught. Familiar with this route, you put up the ladder to give you access to your roof to climb into your room. She insisted that you would go first so she can stay behind to make sure you don’t accidentally fall and can attempt to catch you. You smiled at her thoughtfulness as you climbed up and entered through the window. Looking back she followed a few steps behind you entering your room. Observing your room she smirked at the posters on your walls and some pictures you had from your childhood and others of you just hanging out with your friends and family. She was quick to go towards your desk to look through your stuff as she saw a Polaroid of you two together where she was kissing your cheek after a game. She smiled at the memory before picking it up to show you “Didn’t know you would have kept this? You could of at least framed it.” she teases as your face turned red. “Oh ummm, I thought it was a good picture and I didn’t have the heart to throw it away…” trailing off gently as you headed off to the bathroom to avoid embarrassment, but also to clean up after the night. Smiling at your reaction she put the photo down “I wish you had a copy of it. I would take it everywhere.” stating lovingly as she did not want to emphasize too much of her feelings for you in your current state. Once you finished cleaning up you exited to pick out a pair of pajamas for yourself, but also picked out a pair for Jackie. “Here” tossing her one of your sweaters and a pair of shorts with a playful smile as you grabbed your own. Jackie caught it a little surprised before stating “I was not planning to stay the night–” before you interrupted “You’re out of your mind if you think I’m going to let you walk back to the party… or for that matter to your house all alone at night. Just stay the night… I promise I won't bite…” smirking as you started to strip and change into your nightwear. She was flustered and had to pry her eyes off of you to save herself from falling even more in love with you before sighing “You’re right…” and was quick to change into your clothes. She embraced the soft floral perfume that lingered on your sweater and already started to plan how she was going to steal it.
Once you both finished your room was filled with light that shone in from your window from the moon and a light breeze. You were quick to get into your bed, but Jackie was nervous as she hesitated slightly. Holding the blanket up for her to get under she could not resist your offer. The silence was comforting but Jackie's thoughts of y/n were taking over her mind.
As you got comfortable, you take a moment to look up at her observing her conflicted facade. “Hey, are you alright?” you questioned her softly before turning in the bed to face her directly. She was suddenly nervous from your actions as a light blush tinted her cheeks, “Yeah, I'm just thinking about the night…I loved that I was able to spend this time with you even if it did not start off great earlier. You know you have to be more careful right?”. Her gaze was now focused on you and your soft features and that made you to be flustered also “I know, I’m sorry. I never really had the opportunity to thank you properly for saving me…” your voice was barely above a whisper as your eyes flickered between her gaze and her lips.  Jackie got the hint and gladly reached out to cup your face with one of her hands before she guided you to her lips. The kiss was passionate and left you both breathless as you pulled away to grin at her. “I will forever be grateful for my savior” whispering teasingly as you leaned on her chest and got comfortable. She laughed lightheartedly before wrapping her arms around you as she began to trace patterns gently on your back “Get some sleep, you’re going to have a long day ahead of you tomorrow, sweetheart.” teasing back before gently playing with your hair with her other hand. Humming at her response you smiled in the crook of her neck as you fell asleep. Before Jackie knew it you were out like a light. Smiling softly she kissed the top of your head as she let herself fall asleep knowing her dream woman was safe in her arms.
(definitely will never proofread. fyi.)

💥 ⏆   : 🩹 ﹢
the clock struck 3:45 pm, and the bell rang, indicating the end of the school day. collecting your physics book and backpack, you said goodbye to kevyn, your usual seatmate in your last block, and made your way to your locker. inside, you unloaded your heavy backpack and retrieved your skateboard, neatly stashed at the back.
each morning, shauna would give you and jackie a ride to school. however, for the journey back home, you often preferred to skate. while you'd rather ride with your girlfriends, they were tied up with soccer practice almost every day. nevertheless, it didn't bother you; after all, you spent most of your time with them anyway, and you genuinely enjoyed skating. the sensation of the breeze against your skin, the rhythmic clatter of wheels on the pavement, combined with your favorite music, felt very soothing and therapeutic.
once you stepped onto the school’s parking lot, you quickly placed your board on the ground and hopped onto it with your usual ease. the trip back home wasn't too long, just about 10 to 15 minutes on your skateboard. however, occasionally, you'd take a different route through the nearby park or empty parking areas, extending your ride for fun or to practice some tricks along the way.
honestly, you were relieved when your girlfriends had practice at the same time you skated. although they don’t mind, they've been a bit worried because you've been getting hurt quite often.
you've been skating for a while now, but recently, you've been putting extra effort into mastering some new tricks. your recent focus has been on different kickflip variations, and you've also started working on your grind and slides. while you've only ended up with some scratches and bruises so far, nothing too unusual, your girlfriends can be a bit nagging about it. jackie even suggested getting you a helmet, but you brushed it off, saying helmets are for "losers"—even shauna chuckled at the idea, so jackie let it go. nevertheless, they were genuinely concerned and insistent about you taking it easy. but of course, now that they had no eyes on you, you practiced and fell as much as you could without a care in the world. and if you were being honest, you enjoyed the extra attention and affection they showered you with when you were injured.
around eight minutes into your skating session, your stomach started growling. the lunch today was a burger with one of the toughest patties you've ever bitten into, along with some dry ass fries, so you tossed your tray and decided to skip lunch altogether. just as you were cringing at the memory of the unappetizing cafeteria food, your eyes lit up when you saw the glowing sign of the "pearl diner," renowned for serving the best milkshakes in wiskayok. without a second thought, you hopped off your skateboard and went in, ordering one to go.
now, with your refreshing and delicious drink in hand, you resumed your journey back home, taking a slight detour to the left, heading towards the park nearest to your house.
now that you had reached your destination, fortunately finding it empty, you cranked up your music all the way up and began taking longer strides, picking up speed. for the first few minutes, you warmed up with a few ollies, pushing yourself to go as fast as possible, and occasionally sipping from the milkshake in your hand. you were so accustomed to high speeds that you didn't bother stowing away your backpack and drink. the thought of falling seemed distant, as you were feeling particularly confident today.
once you felt confident enough, you rode towards the stairs that led to the parking lot. there was a bar dividing them in the middle, and you deemed it the perfect spot to practice your slides. the timing couldn't be better, as the park was completely empty, sparing you from any karens scolding you for supposedly ruining the bar's paint, which, according to them, had been "funded by the neighborhood's taxes," you mimicked mentally in a mock high-pitched voice as you rolled your eyes.
approaching the railing, you took one last stride, placing both feet on the board in an ollie position, ready to execute your trick. as you got close to it, you performed an ollie, and the middle of your board landed perfectly on the bar, allowing for a smooth slide. however, the impact was stronger than you anticipated, causing you to fall hard against it. by the time you were nearing the end of the slide, your skateboard broke in half, resulting in a harsh fall to the ground. in the process, your drink spilled, and your face slid against the pavement.
"hngh-" you grunted, feeling a loud ringing in your ears and too weak to stand up. you realized you must have hit your head pretty hard as your face felt numb. not only that, but your hands and knees burned, likely from scratches. lying flat on the ground, you pulled out your earbuds, finding the music too much to bear. you remained in that position for a couple of minutes until you started to feel the floor beneath your face becoming very wet. shit, now my face is going to be all sticky from the milkshake, you thought, assuming the wetness was from your spilled drink, too lightheaded to detect the metallic odour instead of sweetness.
it wasn’t until you heard two car doors shutting loudly, followed by a pair of hurried footsteps, that you snapped back to your senses.
the world swirled around you, a dizzying blend of pain and confusion. your skateboard lay in pieces beside you, and the taste of blood lingered on your lips. the metallic scent was unmistakable now—definitely not from a spilled milkshake. you groaned, trying to push yourself up, but your limbs felt like lead.
“what the hell happened here?” shauna’s voice cut through the haze. she knelt beside you, her soccer cleats digging into the gravel. her eyes widened as she took in the sight of your battered face. “jackie, get over here!”
jackie appeared at shauna’s side, her expression shifting from curiosity to concern. “whoa, what-”
“look at her!” shauna gestured at you, her anger palpable. “that damn skateboard-”
“shauna, focus,” jackie interrupted. “we need to help her.”
you blinked at them, their faces coming into focus. they both stared at you with concern etched on their faces, moving in sync as jackie dropped to her knees beside you as well.
“hey,” jackie said gently, brushing a strand of hair from your forehead. “can you hear us? do you know your name?”
you managed a weak nod. “y/n,” you whispered. “i… i think i hit my head.”
shauna’s hands were surprisingly gentle as she examined your face. “fuck, those scratches are deep. we need to get you to a hospital.”
“no hospitals,” you protested, wincing as jackie dabbed at your wounds with a tissue from her pocket. “i’ll be fine.”
shauna scoffed. “fine? you’re bleeding all over the place, y/n. we’re taking you to the er.”
“but my skateboard,” you mumbled, feeling absurdly attached to the broken pieces beside you.
jackie exchanged a glance with shauna. “we’ll worry about the skateboard later,” she said firmly. “right now, let’s focus on getting you patched up.”
and just like that, they hoisted you up, one on each side. their strength surprised you—they were soccer players, after all. they half-carried, half-dragged you toward the car. shauna took the driver's seat, placing your backpack on the passenger seat, while jackie sat in the back with you, letting your head rest on her legs.
you knew shauna was mad without needing to look at her. all the signs were there—the slight narrowing of her eyes, the clenched jaw, the sharp breaths. she was always the more reserved of the two, preferring her actions to speak for her rather than voicing her opinions. but there was a difference between the coldness she typically expressed toward things she disliked and the hot rage you felt radiating off her now. “you shouldn't have been such an idiot on the skateboard,” shauna snapped, her words practically boiling as they escaped.
her words stung, but you couldn't argue with her. you'd been asking for it, constantly pushing yourself to do crazier and riskier tricks for no real reason other than pure fun and self-satisfaction. despite repeated warnings from both jackie and shauna to take it easy, wear protective gear, and be cautious, you had dismissed their concerns as mere anxiety and overprotectiveness.
“i'm sorry. i won't do that again,” you mumbled, wincing as the bumpiness of the road jarred against your already aching body.
shauna narrowed her eyes even further, her rage still simmering. “you're damn right you won't,” she muttered.
jackie interjected with a more composed tone. “hey, take it easy on her,” she said, her fingers curled around your arm. you noticed that jackie's grip was comforting, not constraining. “she didn't mean to fall,” she added, her gaze fixed on shauna. shauna turned her attention to jackie, shifting her focus away from you. “don't defend her. she's an idiot.”
“maybe,” jackie responded, holding shauna's gaze steadily. “but right now, our priority should be making sure she's okay.” shauna didn't retreat from the argument, her lips forming a pout. “don't act like this is the first time she’s put herself in danger with that stupid skateboard.”
shauna's piercing stare returned to you, still cold and scathing. "i said i was sorry," you whispered, trying to sound braver than you currently felt. the throbbing pain in your face served as a reminder that picking this fight might not have been the wisest decision.
“i know,” shauna said, her voice cold. “but i'm sick of worrying about you and your stupid skateboard.”
the words stung more than the road rash on your palms. tears welled up in your eyes, and you hastily blinked them away. you didn't know why, but her criticism felt so much harsher than it should have. perhaps it was because you were still reeling from the fall, or maybe it was simply the adrenaline wearing off. regardless, her comment landed with the force of a slap, leaving you feeling hurt and ashamed, like a child scolded for an innocent mistake.
jackie watched as you attempted to wipe away the tears stinging your eyes. "hey," she said, her tone softening. "she doesn't really mean it," she whispered. "she's just worried about you." shauna rolled her eyes at jackie's comforting words, finding them overly optimistic. shauna was always direct—if she had an issue, she would tell you, no sugarcoating necessary. you remained silent, your lip trembling slightly.
shauna's gaze softened a bit as she noticed the tears in your eyes, but instead of apologizing or offering comfort, she simply frowned. "are you crying?"
jackie, on the other hand, reached out to wipe your tears with her thumb. "don't be so harsh," she said quietly toward shauna. "stop it."
the echoes of your girlfriends' arguments reached your ears as you drifted in and out of consciousness during the car ride to the hospital. their heated whispers gradually transformed into a soothing murmur; it was shauna's gentle voice that finally lulled you into slumber.
when you next opened your eyes, you found yourself in a hospital bed, shauna and jackie standing by your side. a bright bulb dangled above, and the walls were painted in a calming shade of blue. before you had a chance to ask any questions, jackie turned to shauna and whispered something in her ear.
shauna nodded in response to jackie's words, taking a deep breath before turning her attention back to you. her expression softened as she gazed down at you, the earlier anger replaced by a more caring demeanor. she reached for your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, a gesture of tenderness and affection. "how are you feeling?" she asked, her voice gentle yet concerned.
as the fog in your mind began to clear, you let out a soft groan. "my face hurts," you whispered, feeling sluggish and disoriented. shauna nodded slowly, her eyes reflecting worry. "yeah, you hit your head pretty hard," she replied, maintaining her gentle tone.
"the doctor says you'll be fine, but they want you to stay in for the night just in case," jackie added, eliciting a disapproving grunt from you. "are you thirsty?" she asked, a soft and caring look in her eyes.
you nodded faintly in response to jackie's question, sensing the dryness in your throat and mouth. "can you get me some water?" you mumbled, too tired to do so yourself. "of course, i'll be right back," jackie said, giving your forehead a sweet kiss before leaving the room. shauna stayed by your side, her eyes focused on you as her fingers gently combed through your hair.
“i didn't mean what i said back there," she said softly, her eyes reflecting remorse. "i was too harsh, i know," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. she paused for a moment, studying your face.
"it's okay," you mumbled, though you weren't entirely convinced of that statement. perhaps she was right—you had been a complete idiot on the skateboard. maybe it was time to cut back, if not quit for a while. "sorry for worrying you," you continued, feeling guilty for the stress you had caused them.
shauna let out a soft laugh, her face softening further. "you don’t need to apologize, idiot." she paused, contemplating if she should add anything else. "you did nothing wrong. it was just a dumb accident," she emphasized, her voice comforting and reassuring. "besides, i was just mad because i was worried about you," she added, giving you a gentle smile. "just promise me you'll take it easy from now on," she urged, her eyes unwavering as she waited for your response. you nodded, letting out a breath of relief at her understanding. "i promise," you agreed.
as she continued to gently comb through your hair, you released a soft sigh, feeling the stress beginning to dissipate. her touch was soothing and reassuring, a stark contrast to the rough encounter with the pavement moments earlier. “you know i love you, right?” she said, her thumb gently rubbing the side of your face that remained intact.
"i know," you muttered softly, meeting shauna's eyes as you tried to ignore the stinging sensation in your face. shauna's eyes narrowed ever so slightly, and she gave you a gentle smile. “you’re an idiot for trying something like that, but i love you anyway.” you laughed softly at her comment, despite the dull ache still lingering in your bones. “i love you too,” you replied softly.
shauna smiled at your response, her eyes glowing with genuine affection as she looked at your face. just as she was about to reply, you were hit with a sudden jolt of pain as the cut on your scalp began to throb. you cringed slightly, trying to regain your composure. despite attempting to mask your discomfort, it wasn’t enough to hide your ache. shauna noticed, her expression shifting to one of concern. “do you need anything?” she asked, her gaze locked on yours.
“a kiss?” you suggested with a giddy smile.
despite the lingering pain in your face, you couldn't help but smirk at shauna's flustered reaction. “come here," you jokingly commanded, motioning for her to come closer. shauna let out a soft giggle, her cheeks turning a delightful shade of pink.
she stepped closer to your bed, lowering her face to match yours. “you’re such a dork,” she teased with a gentle grin, her warm breath brushing against your skin. with a tender touch, she brushed a few stray strands of hair away from your damp face. without hesitation, she leaned in and pressed her lips against yours, her touch soft and caring, easing the ache. you savored the kiss, starting gently and gradually becoming more passionate as it continued. “mhm,” you murmured, feeling the pain melt away as your lips encountered hers.
shauna broke off the kiss, smiling widely. “are you sure you're feeling okay?” she asked, concern evident in her voice.
"yeah, i'm definitely feeling better," you replied playfully, your tone flirty yet lighthearted.
“i see my two lovebirds have made up,” jackie interrupted with a smile as she returned with a glass of water.
you gave jackie a cheeky smile as she placed the glass of water on the bedside table. “now drink up,” she said firmly, her tone leaving no room for argument. “yes, mom,” you mumbled playfully, leaning forward to take a sip of water. as the liquid soothed your parched throat, you felt some of the discomfort ease away. “feeling better?” jackie asked, leaning down to gently caress the side of your face that was unharmed.
“a little," you mumbled, offering her a smile, your voice still hoarse from the accident.
"good," jackie said with a soft smile, leaning in to give you a tender kiss on the lips, which you eagerly returned. you separated to let out a small yawn, the exhaustion from the day finally catching up to you. both jackie and shauna chuckled softly, finding your tiredness endearing.
"i'm sleepy," you mumbled, your voice barely above a whisper as another yawn escaped you. jackie and shauna exchanged a knowing glance, their smiles widening in amusement. "of course you are," shauna said gently, moving a little closer to intertwine her fingers with yours. "you should get some rest," she suggested, her tone soothing and reassuring.
"as punishment for getting us worried sick, you'll have to endure being sandwiched between us in this small hospital bed all night, because we're staying," jackie declared with a playfully stern expression, prompting you to scoot over as she settled into the bed beside you. shauna followed suit, sliding her arm under your head so that you could rest comfortably against her neck. jackie shifted to her side, wrapping her arm around your waist and planting a sweet kiss on your shoulder.
"aw, is that so?" you mumbled, a smile on your face as you found yourself snug between the two of them in the cramped hospital bed, your head comfortably cradled in shauna's arm. the closeness felt reassuring, surrounded by their warmth and affection.
"we're not going anywhere until you're all healed up," jackie declared, her tone playful yet sincere as she leaned in closer, pulling you even tighter. the gentle pressure from their bodies provided a comforting sense of warmth, their mere presence enough to ease the ache in your battered limbs.
"is this supposed to be a punishment? because it feels more like a reward to me," you mumbled, releasing another soft yawn.
your girlfriends just rolled their eyes and chuckled softly, relieved to see you back to your usual self. the three of you remained in that cozy position throughout the night, simply enjoying each other's company.

TWO POSTS IN A ROW, I'M GETTING BETTER!
Ok, just want to let you guys know that this is an experimental post, because I really want to start watching Yellowjackets and I decided to write oneshots about it...
So, I'm sorry if there's anything wrong with this story regarding the context of the series, I didn't really watch it and only watched snippets of the episodes to cheer myself up and see if I liked the atmosphere of the series.
Btw, it's a story with a character played by Ella Purnell, I think there's no way to go wrong, right?
Hope you like it!
Enjoy!
Requests open but taking things slow!

Prompt: After your older sister has a nasty fight with Jackie in the woods, you decide to take matters into your own hands and confront her. It would all go down too well, though, if you didn't have a crush on her.
***
You didn't expect things to get to this point. In fact, you didn't even want things to get to this point. You knew better than anyone else how much Shauna liked Jackie, considered her her best friend, and how close Jackie actually was to you because she was best friends with your older sister.
Which is why, when you woke up to the screams echoing in the cabin that middle of the night, after accidentally falling asleep and snuggling into Natalie's shoulder - she was warm, in your defense - you wondered why Jackie wasn't there, and the way Shauna looking at you as soon as you opened your eyes was completely decisive.
"Why the hell are you yelling this time?", you asked, your voice coming out low and rather sleepy. "Where's Jackie? I thought we'd go hunting when we were all together, didn't we?"
"Not anymore," Misty blurted out unintentionally. "Your sister decided to fight Jackie, and she's outside now, who knows where, in the cold maybe."
Shauna rolled her eyes. "She started it!"
"Shut up you suckers!" you yelled, standing up and brushing a few strands of Natalie's gorgeous blonde hair out of her clothes a little bit before heading for the door. "You shouldn't have done that, you shouldn't!"
"Where are you going, (Y\N)?"
"Do what you didn't do. Apologize to Jackie and save her from dying of hypothermia at least."
You rolled your eyes as you left, slamming the cabin door slamming and leaving the girls exchanging skewed looks. Misty stopped Shauna with her arm and your sister had to watch you go, against her will, outside in the snow, just when she should have been protecting you.
***
It wasn't too hard to find Jackie, knowing at first that even if she was intensely hurt by Shauna or any of the girls, she wouldn't go far. The girl was as scared as you were about navigating the forest alone, so she could be anywhere, just close.
It was practically freezing outside, and you found yourself picking up your pace several times to keep your shoes from sinking into the icy white snow - sometimes it was quite pointless and you practically froze just by dipping your toes a little bit. But it helped you to locate yourself, when the fog gave way to a figure turned on its back, hugging its own legs, with that varsity jacket that you knew so much, and that, dammit, she never took off her body!
It didn't take much for you to know it was Jackie and, relieved to see her, you walked over slowly and sat down where she was, beside her, avoiding eye contact.
"Please don't tell me Shauna asked you to come after me as a consolation prize," she said, rolling her eyes, still hugging her legs. Her voice emitted a little air from her lips, and when you looked up, her mouth was purple.
Quickly, you needed to take action. You dug with your hands until you couldn't dig anymore, but eventually you found some sticks and stones, which were more visible in the middle of the snow. By rubbing the two together, you created a little bit of fire and arranged some lighter pieces of wood to create a fire. Jackie sighed in relief and another little smoke came out of her mouth.
"No, she didn't ask. I came at my own risk," you finally replied, taking a deep breath as well. It was nice to feel something warm as you sat on the icy ground. "May I know what happened between you two? Why did you fall out so quickly? Everything was so good…"
She didn't answer, and you decided to play with the situation.
"It's only when I fall asleep that you decide to let go, right? That's serious, Jackie, it's a lack of a worthy mother figure."
Jackie laughed, and dammit, you loved it when she laughed. You loved when you could make her laugh, when you could see her little eyes close as she turned her head towards you and looked into her eyes like she was looking at a little sister.
That's what you were to her, a little sister. And that was all.
"I don't know why Shauna is mad at me. Sometimes I thought it might be Jeff, but now that I've broken up with him, I…I don't know anymore," Jackie sighed. "I thought you knew, since you're sisters, and she should tell you everything…"
"Uh, one point less for you…", you chuckled nervously, sighing. "Shauna never tells me anything. She pretty much hates me, I think maybe she'd rather I was a Barbie doll instead of a normal flesh and blood person…" you huffed. "Seriously, I had to beg her to let me on your team, really."
"But she was right, (Y\N), you were still too young. It could cause problems in your class, because you're a year below us."
"I'm not a kid anymore, Jackie, I make my own decisions, and I've decided I want to make the team," you replied in an authoritative voice. "No one can change that now, I also wanted to win, I wanted to help you on the team, not just watch from the stands…"
Jackie nodded, smiling and pursing her lips. She looked at you, and again, there was that annoying little "big sister look" thing she always gave you. You pretended you weren't affected by him and tried to ignore it, but it was impossible.
"If I ask nicely, will you go back inside and make up with Shauna?" you asked in a whisper, looking at Jackie again.
"(Y\N), it's no use. Shauna really hates me now, there's no going back."
"But that can't happen! How am I supposed to be if you guys are fighting forever? How am I going to convince my mom to let me go to your party without Shauna around to babysit me?"
Jackie shook her head. "I'm sorry. Really."
"But that couldn't happen! It's so unfair!"
"(Y\N), stop whimpering like a baby!", Jackie complained, turning to you. "It's irritating, okay? It doesn't help at all!", her voice was different, and it was clear that she was very irritated with the situation.
You widened your eyes, an intrusive thought running through your mind as you stared back at her, your voice trailing off. "You find me annoying? Really?"
"No, that's not what… Ah, (Y\N), come on, I'm sorry, okay?", Jackie clicked her tongue on the roof of her mouth and looked at you, her voice becoming quiet and calm, like she was talking to a puppy. "That's not what I meant, I swear, it's just…I'm really pissed off right now, and if you keep forcing me to make it up to her, I'll…"
You nodded, holding back tears, but didn't say anything. Then, there was a moment when Jackie surprised you by cupping your chin with her fingers and forcing you to look into her eyes. Gorgeous, huge, but gorgeous, you could easily get lost in the whole pool of charisma that was inside them.
"Come on, give me a smile please, (Y\N)…", she whispered, still holding you by the chin, and you smiled, blushing slightly. "That's it. I love seeing you smile, (Y\N), really. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude to you, but this whole situation is killing me."
"Everyone is nervous, Jackie, it's normal…", you explained, whispering, too lost to focus on one thing. "We should be playing right now, winning medals, lifting trophies, but here we are, stranded on a shitty island."
"Hey, at least we still have people to count on…", she whispered back, smiling. "People we like, that's what matters to me at least," Jackie laid her head gently on his shoulder and looked into the crackling fire. "Like, I like you a lot, (Y\N). I don't know what I would do if we had a fight…"
You were taken aback by the revelation. You were already used to Jackie's surprises and her nonsensical phrases, but this time, it rang true. Too bad you felt more than just a liking, and that you couldn't truly tell her that for fear of losing the friendship.
"Me too… I like you, Jackie…", you whispered. "But…"
"But you really want to dump me now, don't you? Yeah, I know. I figured my lack of affection would hurt someone one day…"
"No!", you said, kind of loudly, startling her too. "No, what I meant is… that I like you. Like hell. But it's not just liking… a friend. You know… I'm…"
She quickly pulled her head away from your shoulder to look at you, laughing in disbelief.
"Are you telling me that… you're in love with me?", Jackie asked, confused, frowning. "I mean, like, you? In love with me?"
"Yeah, I think that's right…", you replied. "I'm sure, actually. I'm in love with you, Jackie, and I've never felt that way about anyone in my entire life.
"Damn, (Y\N), that…that was cute, you know?"
Your smile faded, and Jackie saw it right away. It made her laugh, and when you least expected it, she kissed your cheek, then leaned in a little closer to kiss your lips, and you were taken aback by the feel of icy, frozen lips pressed against yours.
Jackie didn't seem to regret the impulse. She was clearly nervous, but she was shivering too, from the cold, and as you kissed, she touched your face with trembling hands over and over again, sometimes hesitating between your cheek and your shoulders.
Her lips were cold, because of the ice, and they were soft, because they were a girl's lips. The girl you were in love with and had kept that secret for a long, long time.
"Was that your way of saying you like me too?" you asked, afraid that this was more of a threat than a genuine question from someone who was confused when she pulled away from you.
Jackie smiled, nodding and blushing as she kissed you again. This time, the touch lasted a little less, and when she pulled away, her face was hidden in the crook of your neck.
"I don't know why it took me so long to figure this out…" she whispered. "It was literally in my face the entire time. That's why Shauna hates me. Because of you, (Y\N). She's so jealous because you guys are sisters, and because I'm her best friend…"
You smiled. "And that makes you regret liking me?"
"Never, I swear…", Jackie whispered. "I actually love the fact that I like you. It's comforting because I knew I'd never have to say it out loud since the two of us are inseparable…"
You smiled again and it was your turn to hide your face in Jackie's neck. She hugged you with both arms and breathed in your scent, sighing. She was clearly warmed by the touch of you on her body.
"Now, if I ask nicely, will you go back to the cabin?"
"(Y\N)!", Jackie sighed, before kissing you again, only this time, all over your face, laughing every time her lips meet your skin. "God, will you stop being so cute? This way I won't convince you that I'm mad at your sister!"
"It never convinced me, to tell you the truth. You two are failures to disguise that, deep down, deep down, you still like each other. And I'm happy about that, because I know that, no matter what, you'll have to put up with me for the rest of your days!"
The girl smiled. "Yeah, not that I'm complaining, either."
And there you two idiots were, giggling by a poorly made fire for the rest of the night, after an awkward but completely adorable confession.

facing your fears
Tumblr media
shauna shipman x fem!reader (all characters aged up)
warnings: struggling with sexuality, pre-crash (but mentions of it?), minimal usage of bad words, probably a bunch of english mistakes and bad writing (not my first language), no 18+ content just fluff
“Right, okay, Van. I think the lesbianism thing is taking over your head a little too much.” You scoff. Your lips were curled up in an expression that it was supposed to be a smile ready to mock your friend Vanessa and let her know how absurd her comment was, but it honestly seemed very unsure. Maybe been discreet wasn’t actually your thing, but liking Shauna Shipman wasn't something that you were happy to admit.
“She’s kind of right, you know. You think everyone is gay, Van.” Taissa’s eyes met her girlfriend’s. She didn’t like disagreeing with Van. Happy wife happy life, right? But maybe, just maybe, she could be wrong about it. Since Van and Tai got together and finally told the team, their favorite thing to do was spot other queer people at school and you were a great targer. Well, except for the fact that you probably weren't a lesbian.
It just wasn’t very you. As y/n Taylor, you had high expectations to be filled and a reputation to care about. Jackie Taylor was your oldest sister by a year and no matter how close you two were, ruining her reputation at school wasn’t a very nice thing to do and it could easily ruin your life. Her life. Jackie was the dream girl. The one that all the boys wanted to be with and all the girls wanted to be her. Perfect hair, perfect clothes, perfect grades (almost) and perfect at soccer. Always the one that would drag all the attention to herself while walking through the school hallways and never missing a chance to attend a party with stunning clothes and the gorgeous makeup. You couldn’t complain about it though. Being related to a popular girl would usually get you stuff that most teenagers would fight to have in high school. Even if you were being known by being Jackie Taylor’s sister, it was still some sort of popularity level that many people wanted to have. Just… Not you.
You loved Jackie, of course. But the pressure of being related to the Wiskayok High School princess was too much. You were in Shauna’s car two years ago along with Jackie while she would drive you to school and you accidentaly let a thought slip away out loud; You were scared of trying for extra activities in school, frightened by the idea of not being good enough like Jackie was (which you didn’t tell her, of course). But eventually, you gave it a try when she said that you had to face your fears. She was good with pep talk. It felt like the world was ending when you tried to join the Yellowjackets team right after that and failed miserably, managing to fall right against the scratchy artificial grass on your first attempt of running after a stupid football. That’s when you realized that you saw Shauna with different eyes. When your cheek was getting squeezed against the floor and you heard the coach whistling, your eyes immediately met hers from afar. Sitting on the closest bench, Jackie made sure to scold all the girls that were laughing at you and right by her side, there was Shauna. Maybe she wanted to laugh as well but she didn’t. Probably because she was Jackie’s best friend, you thought. Her lips were pressing against each other so tightly that they were repressing even the slightest smile. She even had a threatening stare while looking at the girls who were giggling. It was a miracle that you got into the cheerleading team but at least it was better than run after a soccer ball. Besides, you looked cute in a skirt.
You knew Shauna before that, she was always at your house. But you never acknowledged her before. Not consciously at least. You remembered clear as the day when Jackie and Shauna would stay in the bedroom for the entire day; talking about everything and everyone and their stupid crushes. Jeff, Randy, James, you name it. You, too shy and scared to join them, would always politely deny Jackie’s invitations but that didn’t stop you from hearing their nonsense every time you walked through Jackie’s bedroom. Even when the door was closed, their voices, too excited to share their opinions on the world, weren’t exactly the quietest.
“Exactly! And even if I was a lesbian, which obviously I’m not, Shauna would be the last person I would-“ You were more than desperate convicted of your own self, ready to deny Van’s crazy thought. You had no feelings for Shauna. But then, you heard a familiar voice sounding a bit too hostile now, echoing through the entire locker room. It was definitely her. You could see her narrowed brown eyes, her stiff back showing signs of tension, her folded arms and how her hair matching her eyes was stuck on a messy ponytail and took your breath away.
The muffled voice got more and more clear as the steps were sounding closer to you. You were so eager to defend yourself before that you didn’t even bother to look around and search the area for other people. A soccer team with girls only? The rumors would fly around very quickly, especially when coming straight from Jackie Taylor’s little sister. Teenagers were known for being cruel and mean for no reason and being a lesbian in 1996? That was the same as having a death wish.
“You aren’t supposed to be here. Cheerleaders are not allowed.” You were just standing up from the bench when Shauna stood there, just a few steps away from you. You took a quick glance at Van to see her with widen eyes and an ironic lurking smirk. She would always act so suspicious when Shauna was around and it made you worried every single time, thinking if Shauna would notice how their behavior changed when she stepped in and how you always seemed so nervous. You look at Shauna again and immediately remembered why Van and Taissa always assumed you had a thing for her. It was definitely probably how your pupils would dilate immediately when seeing her, the fact that your voice would get high-pitched even when saying a simple hello or how you would fix your hair awkwardly. Or maybe how you could barely say a word without stuttering and making it way too obvious that you weren’t casual about her presence.
You didn’t have enough time to say a single word. A loud metallic noise echoed through the locker room when Van practically slammed the locker door shut and gave you a very much not cautious look before leaving and practically dragging Taissa with her. In less than ten seconds, you were panicking. You were alone with Shauna all of her toughness and not a single sign of friendly thoughts inside her head. “What?” You mutter. For someone that struggled with eye contact, your eyes wouldn’t dare to leave hers. Maybe it was fear but maybe it was amusement.
“I know that you are friends with the girls but you can’t keep coming here all the time, you know? Cheerleaders shouldn’t be here and you know we only let you in cause you’re J-“
“Jackie’s sister.” You cut Shauna before she could finish her sentence. You didn’t think much before doing it. Before not only interrupting her but also giving hints that you were upset. Even if in silence.
Shauna doesn’t say anything at first but her eyebrows frowned almost instantly. It wasn’t like she didn’t know you at least a little bit to see through you, even if you had no idea, but she wasn’t expecting to hear that. Especially not now, out of the blue.
“I mean.” You sigh. It wasn’t the easiest thing for you to talk about what you felt and how all of these hidden feelings had such a deep impact on you. You couldn’t afford to maintain eye contact now and, just for a moment, you looked away. “Don’t get me wrong. I love Jackie, obviously. I just feel like…” You trail off. Maybe it was that time of the month again and you were extra sensitive or you just felt comfortable with Shauna, but something buried inside of you was begging to come out. The silence settles in for almost an entire minute. It wasn’t exactly awkwardness the thing that was hanging in the air but something very close to it. Once or twice, you would shift your eyes up from the dirty school floor to Shauna’s eyes just to make sure that she was still there.
“No, it’s okay. I get it.” She murmurs. Her eyes didn’t leave yours not even for a second. Even at different places and circumstances like at your own house or during the moments you were invited to hang out with the girls, she was always staring. Even when you weren’t aware of it, which was most of the times.
You were expecting to finally show signs of how bothered you were by the pressure of being Jackie’s sister. Of course that some of your closest friends like Van and Taissa knew that and always did their best to support you. (And by that, it meant that you would get to pick the movie for the movie night even though Van would complain about your choice as soon as the movie ended, pointing how badly written, directed or produced it was or how the actors sucked). But you weren’t expecting Shauna to understand you. She seemed to notice the surprised look in your eyes and it made the usual neutral and intimidating expression on her face softens. If you squint your eyes hard enough, you could almost see an empathetic smile.
“What do you mean? You are always glued to Jackie. You’re like her shadow. I remember going downstairs once to get some water and you were there at 2 a.m to grab Jackie a snack and I was terrified for a week. I’m surprised you don’t follow her to the bathroom.” You breath in, letting your voice show signs of vulnerability and even a playful feeling to it. And this time you weren’t crazy. Shauna was actually softening. You caught her lips twitching in a little smile and even making a sound that sounded like a laugh. When did Shauna begin to think that you were funny anyway?
“Look… All I’m saying is that I understand.” Shauna would never say anything bad about Jackie. Not explicitly. Not if she wasn’t bursting out with anger like she would do rarely or with small mean comments, which she would usually do if she felt like Jackie was being too bossy. You wouldn’t blame Jackie as well; she had her own personal problems. But somehow, Shauna was being comprehensive. She was there for you. “There’s things I can’t do because of Jackie too.”
There it was. Her words made you heart drop to your knees. You felt a cold sensation stinging on your body and now you were more focused than ever on the brown eyed girl right in front of you. Shauna had her back resting against a closed locker and her arms were still crossed, but it didn’t seem to contribute to her attempt of looking tough. You were definitely tired from cheerleading practice today and the stress from the finals combined to that probably made you imagine things when you saw Shauna’s eyes sparkling with something different when she said that looking at you. It felt like she was staring into your soul.
“I don’t… I can do whatever I want. Jackie isn’t the boss of my life.” You immediately say, clearly nervous and defensive. You feel a slight warmth in your cheeks when notice your struggle with expressing yourself and begin to overthink everything.
“Oh, really? Like when Jackie invited you to Mari’s birthday party last week but told you not to wear that dress cause yellow was her color?” Shauna smirked finally and her brown eyes were lighter. There was playfulness in her tone as well as a slight cockiness to it, she was proving a point. “Or when you had to talk to Randy Walsh once just because Jackie liked Jeff and his best friend was desperate for a date?”
The words Randy Walsh made your lips curl and your nose scrunch in disgust. That guy was awful. He even asked who invented the Pope once. He wasn’t even cute. Or charismatic. Or smart. It was safe to say that you weren’t very impressed by him. For the first time in that day, and even in weeks, you heard Shauna laugh at your reaction and half of the tension on your body faded away. You looked deeply into her eyes and you didn’t feel intimidated now. You smiled back. Well, it was still a small and sort of shy smile but it was there and it made your heart warm. You felt fuzzy while looking at her, noticing how a few hair strands would fall perfectly through the sides of her face and how her cheeks were still looking pinkish, probably from soccer practice from a few minutes ago.
“Maybe you’re right.” You finally admit. Shauna was ripping the truth out of you without even trying and you weren’t exactly opposed to it anymore. “But it’s not like I could do anything about it. Could you imagine what everyone would say if I told them that I’m into-“
“Girls?” Shauna finishes. One of her eyebrows is slightly raised. She wasn’t sounding judgy or rude, not even surprised, and you wondered why. Your body got stiff as a rock and you feel your forehead getting sweaty as a heat wave hits you. You were panicking. A lot. Enough to left you speechless.
“I went to your bedroom once last year when you were out. Jackie said that you had borrowed one of her books and she needed it to show me something and I swear I wasn’t looking for anything but you really need to hide your things better.” Shauna’s breath sounded heavy now. Was she tense? You definitely were.
Your mind was racing from thought to thought, thinking of all of the things that Shauna could’ve seen. And then it hits you. Since you were seven years old, you saw a movie from your childhood where the main character had a diary and you immediately fell in love with the idea of putting all of your feelings out with no consequences, instead of shoving them down. No one would see it anyway. At first it was just some silly little sentences about your day, about a kid stealing your favorite pen at school, about a lame day where you did nothing but stayed in your room and listening to Jackie all day or how your parents would fight over something idiotic. Then you entered high school and things changed. Suddenly losing your favorite toy wasn’t the hottest topic of your diary. Talking about how badly you hated those stupid boys from school but loved sitting close to girls in class cause it made you have butterflies on your stomach was the main thing going on. And you were lucky enough that your diary was left opened exactly on this page when Shauna entered your room. Fuck.
“You can’t tell anyone. Especially not Jackie. Do you understand how serious this is?” You immediately started to beg Shauna. Your voice was quieter now even though no one was around. Your cheeks were practically entirely covered by a bright shade of red and it was very easy to tell how nervous you were just by staring at you. Your fingers were playing with each other, fidgeting to avoid stress, your eyes were wide open and would barely blink. Your throat was tight with a feeling of having a huge lump stuck on it.
“Relax, okay? I won’t.” Shauna’s voice is quiet but soft now. Ot almost sounded like a whisper. A reassuring and genuine whisper. “It’s not like my journal isn’t full of embarrassing stuff as well.” She continues. It sounded like she was just trying to comfort you but it was actually true. You didn’t even know that she had a journal.
“Like…” Shauna takes a deep breath, taking a few steps closer to you. “Like how you look really good wearing those cheerleading skirts. And how cute your hair looks like with a blue and yellow ribbon on it.” Her breath catches on her throat when you look at her. Did she actually say those words or you were dreaming? Real or not, your heart was racing and you were feeling something different. A rush of excitement in your chest.
“You think so?” Your voice barely comes out. It sounded like a weak whisper. You couldn’t say much but the eye contact was intense and it would only get interrupted when Shauna would take a quick look at your lips. Taking another step in, her hand touched your cheek and it immediately made your body tremble. If your stomach was empty before, now it had tons of desperate butterflies.
Shauna simply nodded. Her eyes remained completely focused on yours, something shifting away and slowly tracing down to your lips. Your own eyes were doing the same, not scared to show how badly you wanted to find out how it felt to kiss her. And being quite honest, Shauna seemed to want the same thing. Finally, she begins to lean in and closes her eyes and you do the same. The next thing you feel is her soft lips pressed right against yours and it felt like the world around you had stopped. It took you a while to kiss her back. At first you just stood there like you were frozen in place. Paralyzed by the thought of trying to understand if this was actually happening, with your hands hanging in the air. But then you slowly let yourself get lost into her. When you both began to feel more comfortable, Shauna’s hands moved down to your waist firmly and your hands touched the soft and smooth skin of her cheeks. You were so close to each other that you could smell her perfume. Not too sweet but addicting and not too strong now once the day was almost over. Okay. Maybe you had feelings for Shauna.
She was the one who pulled away first. It took you some time to finally open your eyes, the idea of looking at Shauna after she kissed you was almost unbearable but in an actual good way. Now, that terrifying sensation of panic that was tightening your chest was all gone and you could only feel the warmth of your own cheeks and the one that would exhale through Shauna’s hands that remained on your waist. You finally opened your eyes, Shauna was looking at you with curious and dreamy eyes.
You were both heavy breathers now when Shauna finally broke the silence. “Am I still the last person you would kiss?” She teased you with a hoarse tone. Her lips were slightly puffy and red thanks to the kiss you two shared. You didn’t say a thing but your lips were struggling to stay still. Everything was too overwhelming and you found yourself losing the battle as the corners of your mouth got wider. You were smiling from ear to ear like a fool. That was probably what you were when it came to Shauna anyway. You were about to open your mouth to defend yourself but a masculine voice interrupted you. You both look towards the locker room entrance to see the assistant coach, Ben, with raised eyebrows and an angry stare directly at you. You immediately knew why. No cheerleaders.
“I should really go now.” You use your head to point towards the coach. Your voice was sounding thinner now and in a higher pitch than it usually was, showing signs of how dazed you were and how Shauna was the only thing going through your mind right now. Shauna slowly took her hands away from your waist. “But maybe we could, like, hang out after you come back from the nationals?” You could barely contain your smile now, walking backwards while not looking away from Shauna.
“Definitely. I can’t wait to come back.” Shauna was smirking back at you while biting her lower lip.

Ap Bio had become both your favorite and least favorite class in you’re schedule. On the one hand, You’d always had a fondness for science, but there was just something special about biology. It clicked in a way that no other subject did for you. You also loved your teacher to the point of often staying behind during lunch to continue talking about whatever you’re class topic had been. But now, the problem of your lab partner has arisen. Jackie Taylor, Wiskayok High School’s sweetheart, has been assigned as your new lab partner for the last quarter of the year. You were stuck with the queen bee for the entire final quarter working with her on your big bio final, and you were ready to slam you’re head into a wall.
Jackie had never done anything to you. You had no idea if she knew you existed till now. But you couldn’t help not liking her. There was just something about that shiny smile and the way the curls in her hair always laid perfectly over her shoulders that got under your skin. But she hadn’t done anything to make you not like her, and that alone just made you more irritated with her.
She didn’t start a conversation right away when she sat next to you after you’re new assignment together. Your group was assigned to look into the effect of different types of hormones on gene expression, which wouldn’t be too difficult, and if you’d like, you could probably do all the work on your own. That would be good in case Jackie turned out to be one of those girls who expected you, the class nerd, to do the project anyways. You’d had that happen a few times now in group projects, so what’s one more time, right?
You were listening to your teacher go over the guidelines for the assignment and show you examples from the past few years. You periodically scribbled down notes for future reference. After a bit of time, you began watching the clock, leaning your cheeks against your palm with an unintentionally pointing lip as you waited for the bell to ring. You wanted to leave class today, unlike most days. Maybe you’d hide in the library with your lunch and read up on your topic to get a headstart on the project. You decided it was better to assume you’d be doing it all on your own from the jump than to be blindsided, right?
But as you waited for the bell, watching the hands of the clock tick away, your gaze began to wander. First, you watched the jock at the table next to the door, trying not to fall asleep. Then you moved on to the girl behind him reading a romance novel behind her textbook till you faltered again to Jackie sitting at your right. She was scribbling away in her notebook, honey-blonde hair obstructing any meaningful view of her face. The lined paper of her notebook had notes written in curly, clean handwriting, yet the margins were littered with doodles of flowers and bunnies. She was currently scribbling away at one of her doodles, having grown tired of notes the same as you.
She only caught sight of your staring when the bell rang. Startled out of your haze by the clanging sound you'd waited for, you blinked, swallowing hard when you’re suddenly met with her bright hazel eyes as she brushed that hair that had been in her face out of the way and behind her ear. You felt your eyes widen as you sat frozen, but only for a second before you frantically started packing away your things into your backpack like the rest of your classmates. You could feel her stare, but she said nothing. That is, till she shook out of her daze.
“Uh, hey-” she started as you began to leave. You’d hustled to the door but stopped at the sound of her voice, leaving you standing awkwardly by the door, hands clutching the strap of your backpack tight. “Do you wanna plan to meet up and work on the project?” she asked as she packed her notebook away into her bog, periodically looking up and back at you as she undid the zipper. You were surprised by the offer, and it delayed your response.
“Um. Yeah, I guess we can,” you mumbled, feeling fidgety under the attention. She gave you that sparkly smile that she gave everyone when she looked back up at you, bag hung over her shoulder.
“Great! You free this afternoon?” you were surprised she seemed so eager to get working. You awkwardly nodded and felt your heart begin beating faster as she walked towards you.
“Don’t you have soccer practice, though?” you said quickly, shuffling ever so slightly away from her. She now stood right across from you by the door. Having her attention like this was strange, and you could only describe it as anxiety-inducing.
“Shit, you’re right. I completely forgot about that,” she laughed, and you felt your stomach drop. “Well, we could always make Saturday work as long as-” she began babbling on about something you didn’t feel like you needed to know about to the point that you began feeling nauseated.
“Hey, can we plan this tomorrow, maybe? I’ve gotta go,” you interrupted, lying through your teeth with your skin itching to get away. Jackie stopped what she was saying, and for a fleeting second, it looked like her smile had faded.
“Oh, yeah. We’ll talk tomorrow then,” you'd already begun leaving before she could finish calling goodbye, which you knew was rude, but all you could think was how you had to get away. Which was even stranger considering she had been acting so nice! Jackie had never been nice to you. Well, Jackie had never been anything to you before. Why was her being nice so startling? You wracked your brain over it all as you hustled into the library to hide among the bookshelves.
You could finally take a real breath when you found a secluded table tucked away in the corner of the library, nestled in with all of the books but by a window, which let a nice stream of light bask down onto the table. You arranged your things, found a few books on your project topic, and got to work, reading and periodically scribbling down notes as you ate the lunch you’d packed that morning. You’d stay there through lunch and into your free study hall period. Getting your study hall directly after lunch had to have been some kind of godsent.
You’d gotten into a real groove or taking your notes. By now, you had to have nearly three pages, front and back, filled with different tidbits you could mention in your project. You’d lost track of time and your surroundings as you listened to your walkman while working. You were only shaken out of your little bubble when you heard a strong, purposeful throat-clearing beside you. You looked up to see Jackie standing over you with a few books in hand. You stared wide-eyed, forgetting about your headphones. That is, till the blonde scrunched her brow and gestured for you to take them off. You did, muttering your apology as the headphones hung around your neck.
“I see you got started,” she chuckled again. You felt yourself grow embarrassed, like you’d been caught with your hand in the cookie jar after saying you’d had enough sweets for the day. Your eyes faltered away, down to your notes, as the grip on your pencil tightened.
“Uh, yeah. I have a free period, so I thought I might as well,” you mumbled, fidgeting with the corner of your paper, folding it into itself.
“Oh! Me too” She paused, looking around as though someone might see despite the table being tucked out of most people's way. “Well, mind if I sit? You could share what you’ve started, and we could make a gameplan,” She suggested. Given your current situation and the way you’d practically run from her earlier, you had no reason to decline, so you nodded, moving some of your things out of the way. She sat down at the other side of the table, but not directly across from you, more so diagonal. Maybe she could feel your apprehension about working for you. It wasn’t like you were trying to hide how you felt, but thinking she might know didn’t help the nauseating feeling in your gut.
Calling the following interaction awkward would be an understatement. You had zero desire to integrate with Jackie outside of class, and she couldn’t seem to get the hint. Or maybe she did and was just choosing to ignore what you thought was your evident desire to be left alone. She started reading the books she’d picked up and writing her notes like you had been doing. But every time she read something that seemed noteworthy, she’d double check if you’d read and written that down already. It got to the point that you eventually just gave her your notebook to write in so she could read what you'd written down already and stop interrupting your reading.
She seemed disappointed by this, but she didn’t voice it or argue. Unsteady, you spent the rest of the hour sitting at the same table, silently reading over textbooks. She didn’t attempt conversation till the bell rang, and you both had to pack up and go to class again. She started by offering you your notebook back, but she pointed out something she’s specifically written down when she handed it to you.
“It’s my address. How about we meet up tomorrow at noon? My dad will be out golfing, and my mom’s got book club, so we’ll have quiet to work on the project. If that works for you, of course,” she seemed rather eager at the idea as she patiently waited for your reply. You paused for a moment, staring at her annoyingly near handwriting and her address till you relented.
“Yeah, sure. Noon tomorrow” you agreed with a nod. She seemed to smile slightly more and nodded quickly.
“Noon tomorrow,” she repeated, taking a step back as she moved to leave. “I’m already looking forward to it,” You watched her go with her little wave and had to refrain from rolling your eyes. You had a bad, nauseating feeling about tomorrow already.
-🐇-
All you could do was stand outside the Taylor’s house, staring up at the two-story with wide eyes, regretting ever letting yourself get into this situation. Something felt so wrong about you walking towards the house, so much so that you contemplated turning tail and leaving. That is till Jackie opened the door, beckoning you inside. It was too late to back out now, so you begrudgingly made your way up the lawn.
“I’m glad you made it,” she began as you walked into the house, you noticed her lack of shoes, so you took yours off, leaving them behind by the door. “Oh, thank you for that! I completely forgot to mention it, and my mother would kill me,” she joked. You forced a smile and hummed but gave her no reaction beyond that. She paused and took a breath, murmuring a quiet ‘right’ before taking you upstairs.
“I thought we’d work in my room unless you'd rather go in the living room since no one's home,” You shrugged, eyes glancing around the house as you followed her.
“Doesn’t matter to me,” you dryly said as she sat down on her bed, pulling out her schoolwork as she sat with her legs crossed against the pillows. You hesitated, standing in the middle of your room with your bag in hand.
“You can come and sit over here if you like,” she chuckled, patting the space in front of her on the bed. After a pause, you did as instructed, sitting at the foot of the bed with your bag beside you. You began to rummage around, pulling out your notebook, pencils, and textbook.
“I can get you something to drink or a snack if you like,” she offered. She was fidgeting with her pencil and notebook open over her lap, but she hadn’t started writing anything yet.
“I’m alright,” you began flipping through your notes, not looking up.
“Ok, well. Do you have any thoughts on how you wanna do this or…”
“I thought I’d write the paper, and you do the visuals,” You replied as though this was the most obvious course of action. Jackie stared at you for a moment till she nodded.
“Yeah,” her voice cracked as she tucked hair behind her ear, looking around the room. “Yeah, tha works for me,” looking up from your notebook, you noticed the way she bit the inside of her cheek.
“Y’know what? I’m gonna get something to snack on anyways,” she said it more like she was telling herself than she was you. You watched her leave like she was in a rush, leaving you alone in her room. Immediately you felt uncomfortable with the situation, so you pulled out your Walkman and began listening to that while you scribbled away in your notes, getting yourself started on the final paper.
Jackie didn’t return for some time, but when she did, she was carrying a big bowl of popcorn with her that she set on the bed after sitting down again. She watched you expectantly but didn’t say a word till you took your headphones off.
“You want some?” she gestured to the bowl. You shook your head.
“No, I’m fine,” you turned your attention back to the paper. “But thanks,” you remembered to add at the end. The next hour was relatively quiet as you both worked. You’d made a decent dent in the paper, and Jackie had started sketching a mock-up of the visual display. She’d handed you her notes to get your opinion, and you simply nodded, telling her it was good and to go ahead. In all honesty, after that, you saw little point in working together anymore. You could easily write the paper at home while she worked on the presentation, right?
“Hey, I think I’m gonna get going,” you started. She looked up, confused.
“But we only just got started,” she began to argue. You felt yourself grow uncomfortable with her seeming eagerness for you to stay.
“Well, I can work on this at home. We don’t need to be together after all,”
“But isn’t it good to work together? Like, to have a soundboard or whatever?” She stood up suddenly and began rummaging for something around the room. Growing alarm clawed at your throat, and you turned around in your seat on the bed to keep your eye on her. “It’s a group project, after all!” She was growing more impatient, and you couldn’t distinguish why.
“Yeah, but it's not a huge deal-” she turned around to face you again, her hair aggressively swishing as she faced you with a distressed look.
“You really can’t stand me that much?” she yelped, genuinely sounding hurt. You froze, paralyzed with no idea what to do. You’d never imagine that Jackie, of all people, would care about what you thought of her. You didn’t think Jackie cared about anyone’s opinion, let alone you!
“I never said I didn’t like you-”
“Well, it’s obvious you don’t!” she interrupted. She looked like she might be on the verge of tears as she began pacing the room. You started to panic.
“No, it isn’t!” you knew it was a terrible retort, but what else could you say? So you got onto the defensive. “But why would you even care if I didn’t like you? I’m nobody!” your voice faltered, and you cringed with embarrassment. You had no idea what was going on or how you even got into this situation. Jackie was nearly and tears, and you found you were too, and you thought you might throw up on the spot from the grinding, nauseating feeling twisting your gut. Jackie sniffled, wiping her nose. But at least she’d stopped pacing and now stood facing you. The sound and motion drew your attention back in.
“You’re not nobody,” her voice was almost pitiful. She sheepishly met your eyes, biting her lip. She was considering something, but you couldn’t tell what. You felt afraid under her gaze.
“Yes, I am,” was all you could say back. You picked at the skin of your thumbs, hoping the motion could calm your racing heart. “I doubt you even knew my name before we had this class together,”
“Well, I did, actually,” there was a heavy pout in her voice. She caved and walked back to the bed, sitting in the space you'd previously occupied but scooted from when she’d stood up. She was almost unbearably close. “I’ve known about you since seventh grade,” only when she said that did you look up at her. Her gaze was soft yet almost timid. It seemed unnatural for her, given her constant air of confidence.
“You got that writing award at that assembly we had with the whole school at the beginning of the year. Most people who were getting awards were eighth graders,” she seemed to recall it fondly. “But I remember how you walked across that stage with that huge smile to take that award from the principal. You didn’t look nervous or afraid. Just happy to be getting that award,” you were stunned she even remembered that day. You barely even remembered it yourself, now that you thought about it.
“But so what? What about that makes me liking you matter so much?”
“I dunno, maybe because of your nice or something?” She was getting upset again. Her face was red with frustration, and she kept dramatically sighing and scoffing. And you weren’t sure what caused it, and you knew it wasn’t the right thing to do, but you laughed. It started as a chuckle, but then it turned into full blow, hysterically tear-inducing laughter. You knew it was wrong, and you expected her to slap you in the face, but she didn’t.
After her initial shock, you heard a snicker, and then she, too, laughed. And as you heard her laugh ring you, you realized it was like a song that you wanted to be stuck in your head. And unlike what you may have anticipated, it didn’t scare you anymore. You managed to quiet and subside your fit of giggles, thumbing away tears that brimmed your eyes from the pressure, a smile still waving over your lips. Jackie appeared the same, but she looked away again, that shy blush water-coloring her cheeks as she smiled.
“I just really want you to like me, but I can’t explain why,” she managed to say finally, looking back up at you. She’d gotten closer again when you were distracted. You could almost feel her breath fanning over your face as she bit her lip in silent consideration.
“I do like you,” you managed to say, eyes unconsciously wandering down to her lips, then flashing back to her eyes out of fear of being caught. But though you expected scorn, you were met with excitement in her eyes, followed by a tilt of her head, and then all at once, her eyes shut, and her lips were on yours, tentative and curious. Anxiety told you to pull away, but frozen in surprise, you found you couldn’t. Instead, you sat, eyes wide as you practically vibrated in anticipation, though you dared not move. It was the same kind of excitement and anxiety you’d feel trying to get close to a wild rabbit. The slightest wrong move, and it would surely run.
But Jackie didn’t run. She did pull away, but she didn’t stray. She watched with a squeezing apprehension on her face, expecting to have a mess to clean up on her hands. You were left completely speechless, terrified she’d regret her actions immediately and make you leave, and she’d never speak to you again. But again, Jackie didn’t run, and she didn’t make you either.
“Say something,” she tried to state, but it came out more like a plead. You scanned her face and did the only thing you could think of in your hazy state. You took her hand, which sat behind you, holding her up as she leaned into you and took her lips as you squeezed your eyes shut. As you kissed her, you felt her smile, with the sound of a muffled chuckle.
Her fingers from her free hand eventually grazed over your cheek, tucking hair behind your ear before wrapping wound the small of your neck to toy with the baby hairs that grew there. When you pulled away, she adjusted so she was practically in your lap with how close she was. Her arms looped lazily over your shoulders and around your neck as she played with your hair, looking you over dreamily.
“My mother would end me if she found out about this,” she giggled, clearly enjoying her little silent rebellion.
“You like girls?” was the only thing you could think, and of course, that’s what your big mouth had to blurt out. You immediately cringed, squeezing your eyes shut and resisting the urge to slap yourself in the face. But fortunately, she laughed that lovely laugh you’d begun to grow fond of.
“It seems like I do,” she attempted to sound coy in her reply. “And it sounds like you look like girls, too,” she added. You looked at her again and relaxed with a smile, rolling your eyes.
“I thought that had been obvious since freshman year,” Jackie shook her head.
“I mean, not to me,”
“Oh, so you didn’t pick the gay girl to try out kissing girls?” You'd grown confident out of nowhere and smirked. Jackie’s cheeks flushed again, and her jaw dropped in mock shock as she tried suppressing a laugh in her throat. In a moment of mock irritation, she shoved your shoulders, gently knocking you onto your back, meeting the duvet cover of her bed in a fit of amused giggles. Without a fleeting consideration, she sat on top of you, her thighs on either side of your hips as her hands pressed against your chest. You couldn’t stop yourself from grinning as you looked up at her. Her brows raised, eyes wide as she realized the position she’d put herself in, that pink blush in her face turning bright red.
“Well, look who’s miss confidence now, huh?” you couldn’t resist the tease. Your restraint had gone out the window with this new understanding of your feelings. Your irritation and avoidance of Jackie Taylor had only been a poorly placed front for your real feelings. You’d been smitten with her for years now but refused to look at it in the right lighting. She scrunched her nose and tried to frown, but the corners of her lips kept flickering upwards in amusement as you grinned, which only egged her on more. So she did the only thing she could think. She leaned in again, wiping that smirk away with her lips.

Chapter 2
Word count: 1.4k words
[Y/N's POV]
The next day arrived, today is the day I move in with Hailee. I already packed my bags earlier this morning again, I looked at Jackie with a smile on her face and gave her a tight hug "Girl, don't be sad, at least we live in the same state now." I reassured her as she fake cries. Jackie pulls away from her and laughs "I know, I am just being very dramatic and besides, West Hollywood and Malibu is a 40 minute drive. You can visit anytime you want." Jackie told me "Hailee isnt expecting you to show up, that quick right?" Jackie asks me as I reached for the door. I respond with a shrug "Eh, better to be early.", Jackie grabs my wrist all of a sudden which made my eyes widen. "You good?" I ask her with a confused tone, Jackie told me to sit down on the couch with her for a bit.
"Yeah, It's just that I've been hearing something online about Hailee... you know... Keeping a secret from the general public?" Jackie said, as much as I love Jackie, she's my best friend, I will jump off a tall building and sell my organs for that woman... There are times that she relies on random and odd stuff on the internet, especially engaging in blind item pages like Deuxmoi. I furrow my brows, oblivious on what Jackie was telling me "What do you mean? Also what did I tell you interacting with those pages?" I said in a very motherly tone despite the fact that Jackie is two years older than me.
"Heard it from Deuxmoi before you got here, someone said that Hailee Steinfeld is hiding a secret from the public and only her manager knows about it." Jackie says, and then gasps "Do you think she's pregnant?"
"GIRL WHAT THE FUCK?!?" I yelled "You've been on Deuxmoi way too much! We both know that site is like the fifth? or lower circle in hell, you know what Tree Paine did when Deuxmoi went after Taylor Swift, right? Also we don't know these people personally!" I said, I let out a sigh and rubbed my temples, going silent for a while. "Look, whatever that is... I won't believe it." I said standing up, putting my hands up with a smile on my face.
Jackie smiles back, understanding what I just told her "Alright, but you know I am just one call away and we can meet up like once or twice a week." Jackie said, standing up again and giving me a hug. I hug Jackie back and nodded "Yeah, just message me if ever." I said, grabbing my bags and finally leaving the apartment.
Forty minutes later, I finally arrived at Hailee's lavish looking house located in Malibu. The house looked amazing from the outside and made me think what's in store inside as well, I parked my car somewhere and grabbed my bags from the trunk. I walked up to the front porch and rang the doorbell, waiting for her to open the door.
Seconds later, she opens the door for me. Hailee is wearing a pair of black yoga pants, a pair of sneakers and a black sports bra that shows off those toned abs of hers that makes me weak on my knees. She looks so hot, my heart starts racing and a lot of thoughts run through my mind seeing her like that. But I still kept my normal posture in tact to be a little bit professional "Hey, you're here! Come on in." Hailee says, inviting me to enter the house.
I enter the house with my bags and I look around the place in awe, I knew that her house would look this good even though I've never seen the whole thing. "I'm sorry if I look like this, I just finished working out." Hailee says, leading me to her living room "Make yourself comfortable, Y/N." Hailee says again, I nod with a smile on my face and I sat down on her couch. I just stare at her walk to her kitchen as she grabs a bottle of cold water from her freezer, the way I look at her is filled with admiration and adoration. My little moment was broken when all of a sudden I heard two high pitched barks, I look down to see her yorkies Brando and Martini looking at me, their tails wagging in sync.
"Oh my goodness, are these Brando and Martini?" I say, smiling at the dogs having some second thoughts if I should pet them both, I am a huge dog person but I have a huge fear of dogs biting me. "Yep, in the flesh! Don't worry they don't bite, they're super friendly." Hailee says, heading to the couch to sit next to me. Hailee puts Brando on my lap and he starts to lick my fingers, which caused me to chuckle and gently pet his head "He's starting to like you, are you a dog person?" Hailee asks. I nod in response as I kept petting Brando while Martini is lying down on my shoe "I have a German Shepard in Washington, his name is... Well... It's a ridiculous name." I said, trying to keep up with an actual conversation with Hailee.
"Well, what's the name of your dog then?" Hailee asks, her hazel eyes looking into mine. I swear, I get lost in those eyes every time.
"His name is... Sir Tenderloin McAvish the Second... We call him Tendy for short." I answered, Hailee starts to burst out laughing once I told her the name of my family's dog. Her laugh is so contagious, it made me laugh as well "I am dead serious, that's his name." I said, pulling my phone out and showing a photo of Tendy to Hailee. "He's a rescue dog, we got him back in 2003. He's like a big baby." I said, showing her a photo of me and carrying Tendy like a baby. Hailee laughs and smiles at the photo of me and my dog, zooming in the photo to see him up close.
"Well you're not wrong Y/N, I treat these two like they're my own children. Oh wait, that reminds me... Come, I'll show you your room." Hailee says, standing up from the couch. I gently put Brando down on the floor again and watch him run around the living room with Martini, I picked my bags up and followed Hailee upstairs. I continued to admire the interior design of Hailee's house, it looks cozy and comfortable. "Alright, we're here." Hailee says, opening the door of my room for me. I entered the room and looked around, I have a comfortable bed and my own bathroom and TV.
I sat down on the edge of the bed and looked at her "Thanks, your place is cool. Who's your interior designer?" I asked, Hailee leans against the door frame, crossing her toned arms. "My mom, she's the best." Hailee chuckles and looks at me, "Well I gotta say, your mom is cool. Quick question, have you ever done this before with your past assistants?" I ask, Hailee shook her head in response "Nope, most of my old personal assistants are people older than me cause you know I started this whole acting and music thing at a young age..." Hailee answers, taking a sip of water from her water bottle.
"So I am the first assistant to stay in your place then?" I asks, with a little hint of casualness.
"Yeah, I feel like you're going to be an assistant that will last long." Hailee responds, winking at me with a smirk on her face "Anyway, if you need anything else. Just let me know, this is your home now... Well once you get a place of your own." Hailee says, closing the door of my room.
I flopped down on the bed, lying on my back as I stare at the ceiling, letting out a sigh. Everything is happening all at once, it feels overwhelming but in a very positive manner to say the least. I furrow my brows a bit, looking back as I was looking around the place before heading to my room earlier.
There was this room at the end of the hallway and it was dark, I didn't ask Hailee about it because it might come off as invasive and I might lose my job. So I just quickly assumed it was a storage room, or a room that has her awards, or a room that has one single box that has her scrapped music or that damn album everyone in the fandom is waiting for. Whatever lies in that room, I'll just ignore it and focus on one thing and one thing only. My job as Hailee's assistant.

“c’mon get in with me! it’ll be fun!” your girlfriend squealed in the bathtub, the bubbles almost spilling out the top. brushing your teeth, you just shook your head and chuckled at her. jackie knows you’ll give into her begging eventually, so she keeps nagging you (and it finally works!)
you spat into the sink and started to undress, your shirt coming off first. you felt jackie’s eyes on you. “you’re staring.” you slipped off your boxers. “i can’t help it.”
jackie giggled when you finally sat down in the warm soapy water, immediately putting bubbles on your face and head. she began staring at you again, except the smile on her face was bigger. “what?”
“you’re so handsome.” her hands went down to your flat, bubbly chest. you giggled softly, trying to play off you getting flustered by splashing her. “y/n, stoppp!” she shrieked playfully as you flailed your arms in the water like a dolphin. by the time you stopped, jackie already had a pout on her face. “you’re mean.”
“what if i wash your hair to make up for it?”
“and give me a cuddle.”
“you got yourself a deal, babe.”
