Rina Sawayama — STFU!
How come u don't expect me to get mad when I'm angry?
How come u don't respect me? Expecting fantasies to be my reality
Why don't you just sit down and…

Okay I lied... More random takes no one asked for!!
I think part of Knives’ origin story is seen in that video with Rem and Vash where Rem basically tells Vash he’s perfect the way he is - powers or not - like TWO SECONDS after she told Knives he can’t ever be his authentic self around other humans.
Think about that. THINK ABOUT THAT. Not only will that fuck up a kid but they’re TWINS. As an identical twin myself, language like that hurts. A lot. Especially from a parental figure.
Like we all see those scenes and see how Vash might develop a complex from being the powerless brother and etc. but that part where Rem tells Nai to never show people his powers lives in my head because he’s literally watching Rem - who is supposed to love and accept him - love and accept Vash unconditionally for being himself and lecturing Nai to never be himself/implicitly telling Nai he will never be loved or accepted for what is he. She is warning him that he will be used or abused by humans. You think it’s coincidence he brings up the flowers in that same scene?!?!? Oh girl that’s poetry right there!! That’s making connections!!
Which brings me back to Knives is projecting onto Vash!! 🤣🤣 We already “know” that Vash is basically human!! It’s said over and over. Vash doesn’t need to fear the humans because he’s “powerless”!! The humans look at him and go awe that sweet useless plant, look at his big goofy smile he's our babygirl 🥹🥹
Meanwhile… why is Rem telling Nai to keep his powers a secret?? Why do we never see Nai’s powers when he’s younger?? Because Vash isn’t the one in real danger of being mistreated by people… Nai is. He’s the one that feels inhuman, he's the one that is different. He's the one that needs to fake it to be accepted. Vash eats and sleeps and drinks like a human!! Nai has to force himself to be what he's not to fit in and escape persecution!! He’s the one that’s lonely and struggling because he’s being told he needs to suppress a big part of himself or… potentially suffer the same fate as Tesla.
I'm not saying Vash would be safe as a guarantee or that Vash hasn't also made himself more likable for various reasons, etc., but I am saying that Nai is gaslighting and projecting like a motherfucker onto Vash throughout this whole thing and it started from Stampede day one.
That’s all for now because it's my bed time ✌️

The backlash against Frozen, which, from my observation, has cooled down (that isn't a joke, I swear-) quite a bit over the past few years, was less based on the quality of the movie itself and more on the fact that its massive success and reach really overshadowed a lot of other movies that came out prior to it and after it and was getting credited for stuff that had already been done before plenty of times, and in many cases, in those exact movies. This is why, to this day, many fans STILL refuse to give Tangled its props without trying to put Frozen down in some way. In their eyes, Tangled should have gotten the glory and accolades Frozen received, but did not, and that made them quite jealous. Overall, Frozen is far from a bad movie. It's a great movie with a great message, characters, music and does actually deserve the success and recognition it got, and some fans need to stop being so salty about it and uplift their fav movies without putting Frozen down so they get the proper appreciation they deserve as well. Although, yes, the credit this movie got for allegedly introducing themes, archetypes and tropes that had already been seen before in Disney, including movies set in a fairytale world with heroines as the protags, was undoubtedly the most annoying part about its success and is part of the reason why many tried to drag this movie and its main leads.

Why do some people get so pissy if you have a popular or “overrated” character like Tweek, Butters, or Craig as your favorite?
Like Tweek is my favorite because I think he’s a genuinely interesting character with a lot of personality that people tend to overlook, and who I also happen to see a lot of myself in.
If that makes me “basic” and “boring” then so be it guess.

Bro i was listening to Taylor swift and ‘don’t blame me’ song reminded me of Rin deadass
✦゜ANSWERED: YEAHHHHH!! IT TOTALLY FITS HIM!! @yourunhingedgirlfriend once made a Ren mood board(?) including that song as well, and it hasn't left my mind since ^^ <3
But yeah!! I still stand by the headcanon that [REDACTED] is in his Reputation era and Ren is in his Lover era ;v; Also, in this 391,490,009 page essay I will be talking about how "Mastermind" and "Hey Stephen (Taylor's Version)" are such Ren/[REDACTED] coded songs, and that the entire Evermore and Folklore albums were the inspiration behind Elanor's charac-

Just got back from Philadelphia to visit spouse's extrnded family. 10 hour drive. NEVER been. But Brian basically planned us a Philly date where we got to see some museums and eat at Reading Terminal Market.
Guys. Brian picked out going to the Mütter Museum as our big date thing for me. I LOVED it. It's SO beautiful and fascinating!
And I went nuts at the gift shop tbh.
I loved walking around downtown in some of the cobblestone alleys, meeting cute dogs, and popping into random free and inexpensive museums (Ben Franklin museum was a surprise hit.)
Any of y'all from the Philly area, from a silly Midwestern girl to you eastcoasters, your city is SO cool and beautiful and rich and you have every right to be proud of it
