4. When people talk a lot and their voice goes a lil hoarse but instead of not-talking they drink a lil water and keep going

5. I shared some sweets with my sisters and I think that’s the whole world, there, in the sharing of something that brings you and other people joy

#5 happy things #hehe people!!! #human beans!!! #bonus is today was nice and crisp and cold in morning but warm and sunny in evening which is just everythingggg #the other day i drove somewhat unsafely in that right after i made a turn that would have been safe i saw a bird on the road #so i made a somewhat dangerous lane change (like i knew there'd be no accident but if the other car had sped up or something) #in order not to run over that bird #but there was a car behind me that couldn't make a lane change and i wonder if the bird died after all #did i do something unsafe just for a futile effort? or did i prevent my giant hunk of metal from killing a living creature? #should i have waited for the cars to pass before turning? but it was my time to turn and there were people behind me waiting #if i had caused a small accident then what? would it have been worth it to save the bird? #dmg to a car costs a lot of money which hurts a human being. is the life of a bird worth so much? #i saw another bird today anyways and that one was alive. so i guess life is still something beautiful and loveable and exciting #no matter what what-ifs i can simulate in my head to no end and no good #i wonder if it was too self absorbed to think about the bird and not the people in the cars driving behind me #annika rambles in the tags

1. My mom had already heated the water before I woke and came downstairs and I just... I’m real grateful to have a family that’s good, because I know how rare it is and how much of a gift it is to have something so precious

2. I got apple and cinnamon oatmeal instead of maple and brown sugar today and I forgot how much I loved it??? The apple bits float on top and a clear layer of water about a centimeter thick forms, while the rest of the cinnamon mixed water and oats float to the bottom and it’s!!! SCIENCE!!! Also tasty

3. My teacher casually saying “in my culture [...] correct me if I’m wrong, but your culture is similar, isn’t it?” and like!!! My culture IS the same!!! Heck yeah man!!! That little sentence made me so excited

4. Not one but TWO discords friends writing AMAZING fanfic while I slept and having not one but TWO lovely surprises of talent and skill in the morning!!!

5. They way that different people but emphasis on different things--how some people might never think twice about something that someone else spends their whole life dwelling on--how the longer you live the more you can have empathy and understanding because you experience more and just--human beings are so beautiful.

#5 happy things #is it 8:36am? yes. did i just wake up? also yes #but i had such a good morning in the like 6 minutes ive been up lmao #i got maybe six hours of sleep last night but i finished my work and my teacher said he ENJOYED the first paragraph!!! so im elated!!! #y'know some days i wake up and there's this bright feeling in my chest that sings i'm alive i'm alive and i'm just so happy about it #y'know it's always there in the back of my head this sense of wonder and gratefulness that i am alive but this time it's in the forefront #and i just--love living. and existing. and how could i ever want more when some people spend a lifetime striving for this without knowing? #some days it's hard to be good bc you're tired and that's valid you do not have to be good you only have to live a day longer #but other days i'm overwhelmed by how so much has been given to me in love and how i just want so much to love someone else #and i don't need to be loved back bc i've had enough love for a lifetime i really have #that bright or quiet feeling of just wanting someone to feel a bit better. whether just a smile or a bit of hope or something big and joyful #and it's like--when this feeling comes--you don't have to find reasons to love others in them you just haveta be willing to love #does that make sense? again i didn't get that much sleep last night #but i'm just!!! #really grateful #because i know there are a trillion and one things i've been given that i know nothing of because of the sheer amount of good and love-- #--that i've been gifted and given by others over the course of my life #and living has become a gift rather than a burden--a gift that i want to cherish and hold onto as long as i can #anywho drink water get yer sleep eat something solid and know that i'm really proud of you and grateful that you're alive okay? #annika rambles in the tags
