I have a silly hc that Garmadon wanted to name Lloyd "Christofern"

Anon this is so funny to me because that would mean:

A. The second he knew he would be a dad, Garmadon had the instinct to give his kid a pun-based name

B. Misako however sticks to naming him Lloyd (foreshadowing more L's to come in his future)

C. Post-oni trilogy Garmadon can't entirely remember his feelings from the past, but somehow recalls "Christofern" as something sentimental to him (and thus that's what he names his fave son)

Watching my friend over their shoulder as they play Bugsnax on my laptop while I’ve already played the game is so fucking funny-

Idk HOW they did it but they managed to knock out two Bungers at once.

They keep forgetting that running is a thing.

They fawn over every single snak that can punt you and predictably gets launched when they stand around trying to pet Spuddys.

They only donate Bungers.

They got the Launchpad and I frantically leaned forward and said “Listen to me. Listen. I know what you’re thinking because I did the exact same thing. Launch the ROCKS. Not YOURSELF.”

Saw a picture of Scoopy Banoopy and was like “Oh I love him!” Which is YET ANOTHER snak that can punt you-

The opening cutscene glitched so they had no idea The Journalist came in on a flying boat and had no clue why there was just a boat there

They dislike Filbo and love Beffica which obviously results in us calling him a Squeeb

Girly pop *sigh* it's been A YEAR SINCE YOU POSTED THE 12TH PART OF RENDEZVOUS WHEN ARE WE GETTING 13TH ???????

“Hi Cat, how have you been? I hope you’ve been doing well.” Oh, I’ve been doing fine. Thank you for asking! Been busy with life. How are you? Girl, thanks for your concern. 😀

The messages I get in my inbox is all basically just asking for the next chapter. No concerns, no other follow-up questions related to Lookism, whatsoever. Just the direct, "Where's the next chapter?" type of questions. The more I see these, the more it feels dehumanizing to a certain extent, and the excitement I get whenever I return, declines.

I've always wanted to address this whenever I'm bombarded with questions regarding the next chapter. But, to put it into simple terms, I haven’t touched it until recently, because I have a life that keeps me busy and occupied. (Yeah, finally.) Hell, I even deleted Tumblr for a while and haven't touched it ever since because of that. Until last week, when I downloaded the app again since I wanted to come back during my break from school with an optimistic approach. But instead, I just keep getting questions like this and I start to fade back out of it again.

I'm not a slave. I honestly, write whenever I want to and whenever I feel like it because I started my story as a hobby in the first place. So, whenever I get questions asking for the next chapter, all I can tell you is: "You will get it, when it's published." I mentioned this before countless numbers of times that I don't have a definite date. I'm sorry if that may seem harsh, but I'm not going to keep answering the same question over and over again. You should know by now that I don't run on a schedule.

But, to the same person(s) who keep asking the same thing over again about the next chapter, just chill. Rest assured, I started working on it again. Whoever saw the recent chapter I just posted, April’s Fool’s! No chingas, my guy. I got you.

Sometimes, I feel bad for all writers in general who consistently get questions about stories or works that become popular, so they tend to take a break from them because of the pressure. The pressure of having to write and to try and appease the audience can be daunting, to the point that the writer will lose their touch and their passions to even continue a story again. The overwhelming pressure of it all is what gradually affects a writer. That, and how their minds don't always focus on the work at hand and they start to drift away from it because of how busy they become, in their lives.

But on the other hand, I get it. The wait has been pretty long and it's been a year. I'm well aware of that. I don't want to be rude, but in all honesty, I'm tired. I'm tired of constantly having to readdress this again and again, so this will be my final reply regarding the constant questions. And to my mutuals and friends who sent messages about taking my time and going at my own pace regarding my writing, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for understanding. <3

What's funny to me, is that this predicament reminded me of this one video. This is all of you Rendezvous readers whenever I come back to check my messages sometimes:

so.....i might have gotten a little obsessed over the past couple days XD

all of these (except the lil wally with a cake in the left corner on the first page :3) are based off the lovely @nonomives' Vampire Wally AU!! he just...he very pretty 👉👈 and then brain grabbed him and ran with him hehehehe -w-

sorry for the shitty quality, taking pictures of doodles never seems to really work good TwT clicking might help? I'll also put captions for the speech in the image descriptions for you guys

brain kind of came up with a little story stuff? mostly just your basic "well, guess i'm the dumb mortal that got stuck here in this castle with all these supernatural entities" thing lol, i'll put it under the cut if any of you guys are interested! I might write some stuff on it later, cause brain is Full of Them All (TM), but I am definitely gonna share more art on them, cause I've got loads more!! :D i meant it when i said i got obsessed XD

basically Rosemary winds up in this castle/manor, really is just trying not to die lmao. lucky for her, the otherwise-super-deadly supernatural entities are super nice (and one of them is maybe a little too interested in her)! so she's mostly not in danger. mostly, though, as dearest darlingest Wally over there, who just so happens to be the King of Vamps, doesn't plan on letting her leave easy :3

Meanwhile, Howdy is basically hunting Wally down, and winds up finding him and his posse of powerful pals, and ends up trying to reason with Rosemary, who ends up protective over these guys, why he should be allowed to do his job.

shenanigans ensue, romance happens because .... well, look at Wally XD just your regular October fortnight, yknow?

STOP i’m freaking out at noir’s usage of historical sexual slang “paint this cabin” and “crack her marbles” that’s so good i’m actually in love with the way you wrote noir in that fic screaming crying jumping up and down

I had a lot of fun researching phrases. I owe it to the info I found here - “The Timelines of Slang”.

Did you know the expression “bust a nut” originated sometime in the 1930s? It’s entirely possible that it could also be in Noir’s vocabulary. 😅💀

You know I’m not really one to reply to anon hate asks but this one just really is above anything. I find it really interesting that you think it’s totally accepted and reasonable to send something like this and use the language you’ve used. It’s rude and disrespectful.

And saying I should get my tubes tied, you don’t even know the person behind this blog and I find that really offensive for you just to say and think it’s acceptable to. Or why insane asylums should still be a thing and I’m just the reason they should still be open, and you using such an offensive word like retarded is as much hurtful as saying someone should get their tubes tied and never have kids. So to that effect I know I have some lovely people on here and lovely anons but for now I think turning anon off. Because this just isn’t acceptable.

Jay has a ninja-tube channel ( basically the equivalent to YouTube but ninjago I guess) and chaos happens

ooh is this headcAnon? Because out of the ninjas he feels the most likely to have one and keep it. But I like to think the citizens associate his channel as the official "Ninja" ninjatube channel since Jay loves integrating his friends in it. (Yet uploads are rare cuz yknow... saving the world and all that. When he does upload tho its a ninjago internet event.)

As for what chaos he gets into... i think it would depend on what content he's feeling that day.

Gaming content is a mess cause one minute he's recording a let's play and the next thing, the other ninjas are pestering to have him stop hogging the gaming room. They'd end up arguing for the rest of the video.

Vlogging would be fun for the most part. Parkouring around Ninjago? A trip with the Bounty? A day in the life of the Ninja? Classics. Usually though, Jay ends up recording one of them (Kai) doing something incredibly embarrassing and a chase ensues. It ends up with someone getting kicked where they shouldn't be.

Apology video.

QnA with the ninjas would be a one and done thing. It wasn't really a qna per say since it dissolved into a full blown battle royale the moment the first question (Who's the strongest?) was asked.

The relatively chill contents though are reserved for when it's just a duo on camera. Cooking with Zane? Testing New inventions with Nya? Movie reviews with Lloyd? Feel good content right there.
