If you give an Erik a homemade cookie he'll break down into tears, asking if he can really have it and thanking you profusely for deeming him worthy of eating your baking. Doesn't even matter if it's good but if you're good at baking he'll sing your praises forever, shyly ask for more, and growl at any who also gets your baked goods because those are for him now.

Oh, one hundred percent yes! I have the head cannon that Erik has quite the sweet tooth as it is, and combined with the fact that you of all people made it for him? He’s bawling!

If it’s specifically Novel!Erik, he has more childish mannerisms with how he approaches you if he catches you baking. As in he’s the type to try and steal raw batter and hover over you so close that you would trip if you weren’t watching where you were going. Give him the whisk or spoon to lick, and then kiss off whatever gets on his face, he gets so flustered! This Erik is also the type to sit on a clean counter and sulk until you take a break from mixing and give him kisses!

Musical!Erik is just as clingy, but knows slightly better than to try and hover so close. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still less than an arms width away, but he knows you need a little room to work effectively. If Erik was jealous before you started though, he’s not going to care for any space between you two. This version of Erik is a big fan of you two sharing food, he’ll take a bite out of something and expect you to put your teeth on the same area he did! It counts as an indirect kiss in his mind, and he gets pouty if you eat from another area. If you really want to fluster him, play some version of the pocky game with any of your baked goods!

If you ever try to bake for anyone else, both are not afraid of snatching your baked goods up once you turn your back. I guess you’ll have to think of something else to gift.
