Madre solo hay dos s3 in a month, what are we thinking? Maryana wil become canon? I'm crossing my fingers for this one.
I mean, suddenly I'm more hopeful than I was?? Suddenly we're in this magical time where main character f/f can happen?
But of course the one show has no effect on the other, so if we're just talking about this one... I dunno, I'm still thinking it's possible and even probable it happens, it would just be silly not to after what it's set up itself and contravene all rules of storytelling, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen, because how often has media contravened all rules of storytelling to disregard the f/f couple or ending.

I know that pink diamond/rose quartz is a controversial subject, but she did end up doing the right thing in the end (even if some mistakes can never be undone)

oh yeah they some how made mariana go the straight route although it was nice seeing ana explore her sexuality with that lady! i wonder how the show will play out but it sucks to be ready to ve disappointed
praying that even after Ferran gets good w kids Mariana will think “good but not ana” and not ferran >> ana or even pablo
Yeah, part of me can't believe the show would have BOTH of them be queer and pining after each other at different points and still not get together, and with this premise, but then you never know! It truly, truly sucks to still be bracing for a bad ending, after a year of bad endings, especially on Netflix. The number of cancelations, unhappy/bittersweet endings, a literal BYG, it's been rough. A good ending here wouldn't change that but it'd be such a relief, all the same.
It's definitely possible Mariana decides at the end that Ana means the most to her, that's what I'd definitely expect, just have to hope the writers see it through. :o

After watching the trailer for s3 I would prefer if the ex husband stay as a parent of his childs and that's it instead of giving so much trouble.
I don't hate him neither Pablo as much but they continue messing them up with their obssesion.
Yeah, I'm kind of done with the male exes but in a way I'm glad that these are their arcs for the season, since that means they'll probably end the show having to learn to accept that their places will just be as fathers and not romantically involved.
On the other hand, I wish we didn't have Ferran being bad with kids as his arc, because that possibly foreshadows him learning to be good with them as his season's story, leaving him open to be Mariana's endgame. If he'd been the perfect guy, that'd have made it seem less likely to me, since that's too boring to start and end a season on.
I'm suddenly less confident about an f/f endgame because I've had the night to think on it and, well, Netflix has not been the most supportive of f/f of late (have they even done any f/f holiday movies this year? I figured at least that would become a tradition). Of course, every creator is mostly making their own decisions, so how this show ends is independent of all the others, but that in itself is a reminder to me to not factor in another show's main f/f for this one. On paper, it still looks like it absolutely should end just one way, but... I will be optimistic but vigilant. :o

Hey Boo? Did you watch the madre sólo hay dos season? I would like to know your thoughts on the Ceci, Ana and Mariana scene in the aquarium
Ahhh, sorry this is so late. We've had a whole hiatus and final season since you sent this. :x
Trying to remember how I felt back then... I was pretty hopeful, actually! We were narrowing in on Ana and Mariana as a unit, which was beginning to feel rare, and even as a two-mom parenting unit to Ceci, not just the babies, so that felt encouraging to a possible future of them actually being together.

Not to continue talking about this but. If I stop watching the last 15min of the last episode, and someone told me that Mariana fixed her relationship with Ferran I would totally believe that.
That's so weird for a show that were planning to make Ana and Mariana endgame.
I wonder if they weren't planning that(the Ferran problem was almost out of nowhere and very easy to solve because Mariana tend to let people do stuff like that and forgive her).
But that fight between Ana and Mariana was hard, after lying about Ferran and more important risking Ana's relationship with Ro.
No, right, the writing for Mariana has really been the mystery point this season. You're so right, it really doesn't feel like they were intending an endgame, at least a mutual one? Ana's side of things was great, a full heartfelt journey, but Mariana truly seemed more into Ferran, and as you said, the obstacle with him was actually the kinda minor, last minute thing she might have easily forgiven on a different day.
Maybe not, maybe it was always supposed to be a mutual endgame, or at least this season was supposed to be written with that in mind, and they just didn't know how to do a fully romantic season with two women? Or had to lean back from it? I guess we just won't know.

It seems that madre sólo hay dos is almost over. Some cast members are already saying the farewell. The actresses that play Elena and Cynthia made posts saying goodbye.
It would be possible that we get the last season by December like the other two.
For some reason I thought the third season was already the last. It just seemed to make sense, the first season more about Mariana's feelings, the second about Ana's, and the third season to finally put them on the same page.
Of course, that's assuming we get some kind of canon f/f endgame. And I don't know their actual plans, if they wouldn't have loved for more seasons to cover other plots. Though posted goodbyes don't necessarily mean final seasons, it's a pretty good indicator.
December, huh. So we get this and Warrior Nun at around the same time. :o

Boo a question now that you understand this more than me.
Paulina Releasing that song somehow confirms Ana and Mariana are gonna end together? I mean, I know in Mexico they don't understand queerbait but I mean.
A song about the ship in particular by one of the actress.
I don't understand more! I don't understand any of this, can we take it as confirmation, or a really strong hint, or, I remember someone earlier saying Paulina was actually pretty openly shipping them, so is this just more of that, like, yeah, I'd love if it happened but who knows what the writers will do.

madre solo hay dos season 3 confirmed
Oh, good! Not only did they need it to at least finish off wherever this arc is going (please be fake dating to real romance, please be fake dating to real romance), but I just like that this show about the bond between two women is doing well.

Pauila Goto is very open about her wanting Mariana and Ana to be endgame.
Ludwika want that too but she is more like "let's see what's gonna happen"
Hah, that's funny, considering after this season, Ana (Ludwika's character) seems way more in love.
I really hope it happens, it'd be pretty amazing, a multiple season mainstream show where the whole premise was to romcom together the two leads, both women.

madre solo hay dos season 2 is out...and it looks it dissapoint
Awww, yeah, I've been hearing that! Haven't had the chance to watch myself but it seems they've focused less on Ana and Mariana, which was my main fear.
Whatever else happened romantically (or not), too many shows about an odd couple decide the second season should be about establishing them separately, and sure, that's fine, but the main story should still be their relationship and a lot falter on that point.
I DID raise an eyebrow at the ending, though, and am wondering if next season will be a fake dating trope leading to romance or...? I don't know wtf else it could be? They awkwardly and hilariously try to fake being in a relationship, given the genre that's a given, but the end result will be...they decide it doesn't work? Silly and preposterous! But can't believe we have to wait now for a whole 'nother year, if it's even renewed (though the ratings seem good).

Netflix Latin America posted "❤️Anriana❤️ es todo lo que está bien en esta vida, así ellas no lo sepan" (Anriana is all that is good in life, even if they don't know it yet) underneath the season 2 trailer for Madre Solo Hay Dos, so I think season 2 won't disappoint!
Oooh! Interesting....
I mean, social media accounts have been known to hype up things that aren't really there or at least using different interpretations so I won't take it as confirmation but it's definitely promising... At the least, it'll focus on their relationship, in whatever form.
Also, their ship name is Anriana?? That's actually quite pretty.

Madre sólo hay dos season two trailer is out
Oooh, thanks! I could only find the English subtitled version on Netflix so can't link it but looks like things are gonna be messy!
I'm a bit hmm about Mariana seemingly raising her kid with her two exes (?), but at least Elena's still in the picture. I'm more than a bit hmm about what looks like some random new guy who both Mariana and Ana will be into?? I'm hoping by how few scenes there are of him that he's not going to be a major part of the season.
The one part I am liking is how much the show still seems to be about Ana and Mariana, as it should be. Sometimes in second seasons you see arcs really separating because they don't know how to keep the connection going without the original premise and I was half scared they'd get scared of where exactly they could go if not a romance. Of course, I still want one but it doesn't entirely seem to be what's being teased, unfortunately. I mean, it is just a trailer and won't reveal everything but the tone seems...well, it could go either way, but definitely doesn't seem like it's going to go there in the first eps.
