For anyone who thinks Marilyn Monroe was just a pretty face here she is going all Katniss Everdeen with a bow and arrow. The pic was taken by Antony Beauchamp in 1951.

supposedly, after their honeymoon was over, she was to move into her own bed chambers. never had their wedding night however ( not when people thought they did anyways. ) took their time getting to know each other, took time for her to fall in love with him & he allowed her that time. made her adore him all the more, but it also meant only recently did they start sharing a bed. and now she doesn't want to leave. eyes blink open, hearing the birds chirping outside and his hands drifting up beneath the night gown, warmth of his breath fan across her abdomen before there's a kiss pressed to her skin. shiver running down her spine at the feeling & head lift ever so little, peering down at him, smile tugging at the corner of lips as another kiss is pressed to abdomen, a little further down, having anticipation forming in the pit of her stomach.     ❝   good morning .   ❞      voice still groggy with sleep & hand drift down, before fingers running through his hair.

Dear Theodosia Ch. 1 Sneak Peek - Flashback
“Come along, Thea,” ten-year-old Anthony Bridgerton called to the blonde girl trailing behind him. They were already too far behind their fathers, who were hiking ahead of them on the well-worn trail.
Six-year-old Theodosia Beauchamp trudged along behind with a pout on her face. “You’re always telling me what to do.”
Anthony stopped walking and stood tall. He waited until she was beside him to continue. “Best get used to it, we’re to be married one day.”
Theodosia looked up at him and scrunched her nose. “You remind me of that every time I see you. I don’t want to marry you.”
“I don’t want to marry you either,” Anthony retorted, narrowing his eyes at her. “But we have to. Our fathers have already made the agreement.”
“Maybe if my father knew how bossy you are, I wouldn’t have to marry you.”
“And maybe if my father knew how annoying you are, I wouldn’t have to marry you.”
Anthony and Theodosia stood there, practically nose to nose glaring at each other. But the pair was quickly broken apart when their fathers began to call for them. “Coming!” they both called simultaneously before the two of them sprinted down the path toward the sound of their fathers’ voices.

Garbo posed in 1951 for London society photographer, Antony Beauchamp. The result were several stunning color portraits, shot in California. In his posthumously published memoirs Beauchamp recounted that it was Garbo's pal, Harry Crocker, who made the introduction, but it is likely that another friend exerted substantial influence–Beauchamp's father-in-law, Winston Churchill.
Photographer and actress met in the spring of 1951 and Garbo agreed to be photographed perhaps in part because Beauchamp wanted to work in color, which would have been a novelty, and perhaps because it was time for new work to be dangled before the public. Several meetings took place before Garbo relaxed enough to let Beauchamp set up his camera. She tired of the process quickly, however, and in the end only five negatives were exposed. One of these pictures appeared on the cover of the famous magazine McCall's, in June 1951. (x)
