found a very interesting article on twitter and i think it's worth a read, considering recent news
edit: also as a lot of you have pointed out too, this is like a fraction of the shit he did over the years, so it's bad.

I genuinely don't know what's more annoying to me - this entire championship, or the fact that commentators and pundits act like it's a genuinely entertaining championship.

Yall know what's funny?
Seeing max stans on here turn against him after those recent developments bc they are now seeing what kind of person he is. (Not that the ableism, racism and mysogyny were a tell tale sign but oh well..)
I'm just here eating popcorn waiting until it blows up in Max's face bc that's what is supposed to happen

I've Decided to Stop Watching F1 for Good, a Brief Essay.
I was thrilled to login to my Tumblr for the first time in months today. It's the first media day of the season and I was excited to chat about F1 again and partake this community for the another season. But, given the news of Red Bull's dismissal of the allegations against Christian Horner I have decided to stop watching F1 for good.
As any fan knows this isn't a decision you take lightly. F1 has been a part of my life quite literally since i was born 23 years ago. My mum was a die hard Michael Schumacher fan, and the sound of The Chain and V10 engines blaring out of TV speakers on weekends defined my childhood.
As a Brit, seeing Hamilton and Button win back to back champions at the ripe age of 8 and 9 was all the motivation I needed to keep watching. I remember crying when Seb won his first championship, it was the first time I could truly call myself a fan of a winner. So it's safe to say F1 is, or well was, a big part of who I am.
As I've grown, and developed an understanding of the social and political landscape around me, it became clear that the F1 establishment had it's problems. Lack of diversity, ignorance to climate change and anti-feminist values to name but a few. But, there was always some drive toward change. We Race as One, Net Zero by 2030 or F1 Academy. Even if I knew these were for the most part a marketing ploy, I still felt I could watch even with my leftist political stance.
But I've finally reached my limit. If there is one thing I cannot stand above anything, it's victims being ignored or dismissed by ruling systems. And that's exactly what happened today with Red Bull's ruling to dismiss any allegations brought upon Christian Horner. I can no longer excuse the actions, or lack there of within the F1 community to stand up for what is right. For what I believe in. Therefore, I will stop watching F1 for good.
I encourage any other individuals whose values align with mine to also reflect of if it's right to continue watching F1 whilst the brand stands for so many things you reject. Particularly during this time where we are questioning the values of so many corporations and partaking in so many boycotts. Stand up for what you believe in. Boycott F1.

If I was any of the other team bosses, I would raise hell with the FIA for basically letting Red Bull get away with going over budget. Why the fuck should they get to keep their 'championships' when it's been proving they've cheated? Why the fuck should the other teams be okay with a team being allowed to keep their results after breaking the cost cap? How is any of this fair?

forget max verstappen's fraudulent championship #2 (we all knew he was going to get it anyway and the fia favouring rbr shouldn't be a surprise to anyone anymore) because holy FUCK. the most unacceptable thing that happened this entire weekend was that tractor on track. this is suzuka, where we literally lost jules bianchi to a situation exactly like this 8 years ago. we should all be thanking every higher power there is that we didn't lose someone else today too - because if any of the drivers, any of them, had lost control in these conditions, that would have been it. this should NEVER have been allowed to happen. forget everything else. this is the most unacceptable and unbelievable thing the fia has done all year

I genuinely don’t understand how any fellow women POC support redbull 🥴
no exactly because I have so many thoughts about this. drivers, staff, and leadership from that team have all said or done both racist and misogynistic things.
mv0 used slurs + said the best thing he’s bought is his gf. checo is fully anti abortion. horner said girls only watch f1 for hot drivers. marko said checo should be used to bomb threats in jeddah bc he’s mexican and routinely says a lot of weird things about yuki being japanese. they wrongfully and knowingly accused lewis, a black man, of attempting murder on track at silverstone ‘21. not to mention the multiple drivers that have come out and said that red bull actively ruined their mental health + encouraged eating disorders.
that whole team breeds an extremely dangerous mindset that every person, but especially every woman of color, should be legitimately afraid of. f1 has never been a safe space for women or people of color, and Red Bull Racing actively adds to the problem. sacrificing juri vips was never about righting a wrong, it was about appeasing the masses and trying to better their appearance, without having to make any real changes.
if you’re a woman of color supporting red bull I need you to think real hard and deep about the self-internalized racism and anti-blackness you might be harboring. because so many of you stan this team and refuse to acknowledge that you too would not be safe around them, and use the parasocial relationships you’ve formed to avoid acknowledging any of it. it is seriously concerning.

My toxic trait is having the hope that just maybe for once the FIA will have the balls to actually penalise Red Bull drivers when they fuck up

Can't Red bull racing fund W Series so they don't have any money that could get over the budget cap, since they did already throw their only female out pf their academy after 1 year
