Anyway, that was a nice episode, but imho a little weaker than last week's.

That was maybe too much action for me and too little emotion (except right at the end)? Man, idk, I just didn't really connect to it. I appreciated Winter and Penny's scenes a lot, tho!

And I think the resolution to the "where's Oscar" cliffhanger of last week kinda failed to deliver what it set up. I understand not wanting to put EVEN more crazy action in an episode that's filled to the brim with it, but I would have liked to see Oscar vs Neo.

Also the scene where Neo is disguised at Oscar is way too fast imho. Still, I liked the little moment of Nora frantically calling for him, like a worried mom (she has totally adopted him in her mind, I'm calling it) and I hope next episode has some nice Oscar moments in the fight with Neo that will probably ensue.

So like... The end was really heartwrenching.

But my last (I swear) complain is that Qrow actually following Tyrian's advice to bring down Clover first was... Honestly, I understand other people's takes, but I personally can't see it as anything but Plot Induced Complete Idiocy XD

Like,

Qrow and Clover may fight fair and may at least know that the other is not gonna kill them even after they're defeated, but... They can't really expect the crazy serial murder to extend the same kindness to them. So what the hell??

At least the consequence is obvious and immediate. Qrow, darling, you screwed up immensely.

I totally expected Clover to die but that didn't hurt any less. Rip.

Tbh I can't imagine this to be all resolved next episode, so I'm prepared for a huge cliffhanger at the end of the volume.

This hiatus is gonna be painful Dx
