Nut's been so experimental in the BLs he plays. He's been a ghost, an enigma, and now a fierce bitch in Louboutins.

I love his willingness to just try and to do and how he doesn't tie himself down to an acting pairing or to any idea. There's no way to typecast him and we love that for him.

I hope this show lets him be the out femme leading character we all deserve in a show.

I think because they’re actually owned by Charles, it will be up to him where they go. It may be that some of them are now the personal property of Camilla and so she will decide instead but I imagine there will be a split. Some pieces probably left to her children, maybe some to her grandchildren or godchildren (if she has any) and some might go to William, Kate or into the Crown’s ownership.

Hi ABL! You've talked a little bit about how some actor pairs have set roles that they play no matter what series they are in (the first to come to mind is MaxNat, who always seem to play the sunshine uke and tsundere seme pair). Are there any actor pairs that you would like to see change it up, or ones that you think would really excel if they did let go of their typical characters?

Hum, interesting question, esp for me. Because in some cases I wanna see them change it up to test the pair's acting chops (Ossan's Love Thailand is gonna be HUGE for this). But in other cases I just wanna mess with the system.

I'm an avowed pair buster, I gleefully enjoy seeing boys with new partners and in new rolls.

But there are pairs who frankly just aren't strong actors and seem to be mostly "playing" gay versions of themselves (side-eyes MaxNat, ZeeNunew, JamFilm) and there's no point in switching it up because we all know it just would not work. (Although I think both Film and Nunew would be fine, if not better, with a different partner.)

BL pairs I'd like to see challenged

Not technically a branded pair but Chains was a SHODDY script and I think these two had serious promise. Haii we already know can play both seme and uke but Boom? Also maybe something less serious? Or just better.

I MISS THEM. Such a better pair than Perth and Chimon. So much more chemistry.

whne people realize you can enjoy buck and tommy for now and know that it's a stepping stone towards buddie which has been made beyond clear in every interview Tim, Oliver, and Lou has done. Hell Oliver is already talking about he hopes Tommy can stay a part of Buck's life as a friend after they break up doesn't scream endgame to me, not that this was ever intended as endgame. It's very clearly from day one been set up as a necessary stepping stone towards Buddie.

Saying it's 'beyond clear in every interview' makes me feel like some of y'all need to take a reading comprehension class. Tim has called Buck and Tommy's relationship a romcom. Lou has talked about wanting to stick around. Oliver has talked about being excited for Buck and Tommy to keep getting to know each other (and that he's excited to keep getting to know Lou).

None of that is a promise of Buddie and until it happens on the show, in the actual canon, there is no guarantee of anything, no matter how much we want there to be.

Next time anyone wants to send me this kind of anon consider writing it on a piece of paper, putting it in a bottle, and throw it into your nearest large body of water instead.

What do you mean by Venus floating cities?

I'm hoping to write a science fiction story about visiting Venus as part of the space race and I would love your input

Alright so the thing with Venus is that we're all very familiar with her horrible hell-death clouds and 900°F surface temperatures. We all understand the surface of Venus is not a fun place for humans to be.

But, nobody ever talks about the fact that ABOVE the hell-death clouds, Venus is a paradise. The most Earth-like environment we know of in the solar system, beyond Earth itself, is actually in the skies of Venus.

About 30 miles above the surface, the pressure is ~1 atmosphere, and the temperature ranges from 30 - 100°F, which is Happy Human™ standard pressure and temperature.

What's more, a breathable mix of oxygen and nitrogen provides over 60% the lifting power on Venus that helium does on Earth. In other words, a balloon full of human-breathable air would float to the habitable range of Venus's atmosphere. We could float a ship with the very air we breathe.

The other great thing about this is that it avoids one of the big problems with Mars colonization. On Mars, any habitat on the surface full of breathable air is vulnerable to leaks and explosive decompression, a la the Martian.

Floating on Venus, a balloon full of breathable air doesn't have a significant pressure difference between the inside and the outside. Which means, any leaks or tears would be very slow and manageable. You could fix that shit with duct tape!

Similarly, because the environment outside the balloon is so Earth-like, humans living there wouldn't need any big fancy pressurized suits for extravehicular work. We'd need air to breathe, maybe some heat protection, and protection against the acid rain. That's it. 

Venus also provides the tools to keep us fed! It's atmosphere is made primarily of carbon dioxide, even above the dense horrible clouds. What likes carbon dioxide? Plants from Earth!! Lets grow FOOD on FLOATING PLATFORMS in the SKIES of VENUS.

This whole idea actually came out of a NASA effort exploring potential Venus colonization. The program was called HAVOC - the High Altitude Venus Operational Concept.

It hasn't really gone anywhere, and as far as I know there are no real plans to revisit it. Unfortunately, from a practicality standpoint, Mars is a much more viable target for human colonization. Not only is it better poised for outer solar system exploration, being farther away from the sun, but living on Venus would come with too many complicated contingencies. In the event of a major failure on Venus, you'd need to fly to another base, or fuck off all the way to orbit. I understand why people aren't really in a hurry to live somewhere where landing on the surface means certain death.

But that doesn't mean I won't be forever and always enamored by the skies of Venus. Here's one of the artist concepts to come out of HAVOC.

Yea! Enjoy a dump of all my centaur babies! They're mostly a bit older drawings but I think they still hold up haha and I don't think many people draw them cause they can be a little funky- what with the chunky little bodies on big ol spidery legs 😅 But I still think they're cute 💜

And a lot of my drawings of the bitties are in slings, as that's how I built in infant care with an L-shaped infant 😂

The squeeeing as soon as Mawin left that scary, exhilarating semi-promising interaction with his crush was SOO relatable. Euro is KILLING it in this role and deserves to be part of a main couple in his own BL and I would die of happiness if that happened.

Oh, right? It was SO cute and SO sweet and I love how they're best friends and on each other's sides and how everyone wants Mawin to get the boy and to take his chance with Tinh, It's so great!

I want them to be happy so badly.

And I would die to get Euro as a main in a BL or at least as a secondary couple rather than the crumbs of being a tertiary. But I am glad to have gotten him and gotten this chance to have a chubby character be a real contender for a romance and to have everyone on his side.

Because he's so cute.
