While doing some research in the woods, Ravenna came across a beautiful white flower. At first, she was going to keep it for herself. She was going to press it between the pages of a book and make a bookmark out of it, but another favorable idea came to mind — gift it to Leon. He’s been wonderful company, the best she’s had in quite some time. He’s enthusiastic, cheerful, courageous, and… cute.

Who says men can’t receive a flower in appreciation?

So, without a word, Ravenna approaches the other trainer and gently slides the flower’s stem behind his ear before offering a sweet smile and moving past his form.

Leon blinked once when Ravenna slide something behind his ear. He put a hand to his ear, feeling the flower, and he took it out to look at it.

"Aww, thanks!" He called after Ravenna, waving at her. "The flower's cute! I really appreciate it."

What a nice gift! Leon couldn't help but grin from ear to ear. Maybe he ought to find something cute for her in return. Hmmm....

"God what isn't there to like." She huffed with an amused shake of her head. "He and I were just supposed to be a casual fling you know? I mean the man is like a hot teddy bear...if that's a thing." She snorted. "But...its hard not to love Devlin. He's sweet, kind, and wants to do the right thing. He has this weird ability to make you feel at home and like you could mean something to someone as good as him."

She paused, not wanting to disclosed that she also couldn't help but love the way that he had so easily fell into a family role and routine with them. Little Klee had decided to visit Kaeya and to give him a hug! Maybe she sensed his stress or maybe Klee just wants to show her support to the people she cares about? I just love this letter Globby wrote so much. ^_^ It’s sweet, sad and funny (or at the very least will induce a head shake on his PS note ;) ).

The fact that he says he loves them as well as we know him running away won’t solve the problem, but he’d rather potentially sacrifice himself than see them or anyone get hurt makes me go “awwww” so hard. :( He knows that his powers are dangerous without control and him staying is really bad, even though later we see that he’s miserable by himself but he’s thinking it’s the best thing he can do for his friends. ;_;

I always have a soft spot for characters that are incredibly powerful but are also super sweet, and this small moment encapsulates a lot of what I love about Globby. ^_^ <3 (I felt like posting this since the 3 year anniversary for the episode is on Saturday and I have a bunch of other stuff that was going to be on it, so I figure why not now? ;) ).
