dunno how it will work together, but I like to think that this lab is actually like the archives, but maybe under different power? or an attempt at cooperation of several powers - all without scientists knowing, and El is like Agnes.

And they tried to do it all nice and sciency and clinical, only that's not how fears work, and also kids kinda became touched by different powers and it makes them stronger but also fuels the whole fears warping reality thing (which is what they think is Upside Down bleeding into the world)

And Creel thinks he's special only he's just fleshy avatar puppet who doesn't even realise it lol (dunno he annoys me as a villain, they could do better). And when he dies by fire that's actually what its master wanted to bring itself forth in full.

and well, post-4th season Hawkins is already on its way to being Night Vale, right? Could be fun if Hawkins becomes out of sync with the rest of the world but in sync with actual Night Vale, and Cecil catches on kids radio frequency and starts broadcasting it to his listeners and giving them advice that nightvaleans send to the radio tower.

...okay that thing wasn't supposed to run away from me like that.

-some of the avatars resent martin because they arent allowed to hurt him but others are just like. “oh, this is my new baby brother. i need to protect him.”

-big sister annabelle. she loves martin so much! he’s her little baby brother!! she scares off whichever of his high school bullies are still alive and not missing. she feels the need to protect him, but also to help him grow up and mature as a Healthy Human Person. she gives him good coping mechanisms because sometimes you just gotta learn how to manipulate yourself into feeling better

-mike crew meets him and is instantly like. “oh this is just the coolest dude, oh my god. hes adorable. this is a baby.” and he just hangs out with martin like the actually chill older brother in a disney channel original movie. he teaches martin how to play guitar. 

-jude perry is the dangerous aunt. she doesnt burn him even though she totally could because she has SOME semblance of self control. she teaches him how to make like forty cocktails by the time hes 20. all the other various entities and avatars hate her for it

-jane prentiss actually loves him once he compliments her worms. she comes over for tea a lot. she cant really drink the tea due to... worm reasons, but she likes how warm it is. she likes the scents of the different teas he makes for her! the floral ones are her favorites :)

-when martin unlocks tim’s Tragic Backstory he says “will you excuse me for a few minutes?” and goes out in the hallway to call nikola and yell at her. tim vaguely hears him just like “you traumatized my friend??? no we hadnt met yet but how could you????? dont try to pull that innocent shtick with me, nikki! you ATE HIS BROTHER!!! i bet you still have his face, don’t you. oh my god. that’s so rude of you! why would you do that to him? no, don’t come down to apologize. i think he’d try to kill you if he saw you. just... don’t bother him anymore, okay? bye.”

-tims just like WAS THAT?? DO YOU HAVE????? A TERRIFYING CLOWN MONSTER?????? ON SPEED DIAL???????? and martin is like oh yeah thats my big sister. she shows up every five years to wreak havoc and i try to reign her in. sorry about her. tea? and tims just like OF COURSE I WANT TEA BUT WHAT THE FUCK

-all the old ass avatars hate martin. peter lukas tries to give off stepdad vibes but martin was raised around and by the web so he knows when hes being manipulated. he sees through him and peter is so mad. elias hates that he cant get his archivist marked bc martin likes him but he cant fire martin either. lonely eyes are both so mad that they cant do shit.

-jon is mean to martin once bc hes tired and grouchy and martin has to restrain all of the avatars and entities from hurting him.

-alternatively scott pilgrim style jon has to fight all the avatars to get to martin. its adorable.
