An afternoon of Sweetness and Sand

I never tought the sea would be so beautiful Ren!

Hmhmh, Ren nodded. Its quite amazing when you see her the first time. But wait till you see what is underneath the surface.

Aaaah !!! OH! But i can't swim ? Sequoia spoke with noticable excitement in his voice.

I can teach you, but all in good time because we just arrived here. There is much to see and discover, if you want?

Sequoia smirked at Ren. And walked a bit back towards the path that was going uphill behind them.

Shall we see who's fastest there ?

Ren laughed about being challenged by Sequoia and sprinted a little bit forward. The two Vieras ran up the hill towards the buildings that were located there.

Here we are ... the Hideaway Cabin and ...

Ren wanted to introduce to Sequoia what was located on the Island grounds but Sequoia was so impressed by what he saw that he slightly shrieked and expressed his toughts in amazement.

This place is wonderful. I never saw anything like this before Ren. How did you do this? It seems like a real paradise. I want to see it all actually! Like what are all these buildings there, and there and there?! I want to learn how to swim, I want to see the jungles on this island, I want to see all what you described to me on the boat.

Ren could not help but stare at Sequoia. And have a moment of inner reflection about the Viera who was his almost lifelong best friend.

"Damn he is soo cute when he is excited like that, hear him now, what am I to do, oh what, oh what?"

Heheehe! I suggest we get ourselves refreshed a little bit, change into something more comfortable and I will ask the mammets to prepare us a light lunch. I don't know about you, but i'm starving.

Huhuhuuu .... Sequoia was mumbling something about paradise still.

Ren bid Sequoia kindly to follow him inside the Cabin. Sequoia followed, slowly regaining his awareness of reality. The climate on the island was hot and humid, tropical. For Veena Vieras this climate was rather exceptional. Most of the year they lived in snowy areas or temperate forestlands. But nothing like this tropical weather. They arrived at a counter with two curious looking "creatures" ren explained to Sequoia that they were mammets, small creatures, or rather beings of a "mechanical" kind. Its did not make much sense to him but he decided to just accept that these were mammets and seemingly capable of many things, as Ren explained. They took care of the most day-to-day tasks on the island like making wares, foodstuffs, or clothes. They also kept the place tidy and helped Ren with a great deal of constructionworks.

So, Sequoia, these two will help you with finding you some outfits for your stay here. I also asked them to take your measures for future adventuring attire. Fot now they will take care of some clothes for your stay here.

Thank you Ren, i don't understand much of the little ones, but i'll just go with it because i'm sweating, its hot here and the sound of lighter clothes sounds very very appealing.

Ghaahahahah! Nawww, stinky Sequoia needs a bath then and fresh clothes; ghahahahahah! Ren could not help himself and found it very amusing to tease his best friend like this.

STINKY ???!!!

Uhuhuuuh, Ren nodded with a smirk on his face. I will wait here for you till you are done, after i'll changed and refreshed myself as well. Just come back here and then we can eat some fresh salad.

Sequoia nodded in agreement, slightly embarassed by Ren calling him "stinky" but it was not untrue. The cheek! While wandering off and following the mammets he allowed himself to have some reflections about the moment he was expierencing.

"How long am I going to continue to keep this secret from Ren? Why does he drive me so crazy? What is this feeling i'm having when i'm near him? Why did I not tell him back in the days before he left? Why does thinking about Ren make me both smile and excited?"

Ren went upstairs the Cabin, refreshed a little, and changed into his usual attire for his island stays. A pink shirt, a scarf bound around his neck, and his left leg, cut-off pants, and sunglasses. Fashion in Eorzea was so very different from the tribal Viera fashion. After changing he went back downstairs.

No Sequoia yet.

He then discussed with the cook-mammet what they could prepare as lunch. They agreed on a light salad with made with fresh vegetables from the island. The weather was too hot at the moment for any heavy food. In the evening they could make something more substantial.

Still no Sequoia; what takes him so long?

Since the outfitting took a while and longer then Ren expected he decided to take a little nap while waiting for Sequoia, enjoying the sunrays kissing his face. Island life made him rather lazy. He closed his eyes and enjoyed a daydream, but not for long. Ren dozed off. He felt so relaxed that sleepy feelings won this time. A soft snoring sound escaped his nose.

Ren ??? Sequoia had arrived! Finally! He saw Ren sitting in the chair, seemingly asleep. He tried to wake up Ren in a gentle way, not wanting to startle him. Ren?! Ren wake up. I'm back.

Hmhmmm ?? followed by a small yawn. Ah you're back. You took your time.

Whaaatttt?? I was not gone THAT long! ... SLEEPY!

There it was again, the small teases.

Are you hungry?

Famished!

So dramatic, Ren winked at Sequoia. Come lets eat a bit then.

Both Vieras took a seat at the table in the garden outside. The mammets had prepared the lunch for them. Ren and Sequoia shared some stories during the meal, especially Ren because Sequoia was rather inquisitive about this island and curious as how Ren managed to obtain it and maintain it, let alone build a place like this. Ren explained it all with much enthousiasm. Sequoia listened with even more of that.

So what is the plan then for the rest of the day Ren?

We have some options: I can take you on a grand tour of the island, we can go out in the wilds, we can gather some resources, we can take care of the animals, we can go to the vegetables patch, we can teach you how to swim, we can just be lazy and do nothing, we can go to the beach, ... anything is possible here. I let you choose, I want you to enjoy yourself here, so nothing is a must really.

Being lazy and doing nothing, going to the beach sounds actually rather fun to me. It would be a nice change of pace. And those mammets gave me some pants for swimming. Its so nice they could make an outfit so fast and in my favourite colors.

You look amazing Sequoia. Yellow has always been your color.

You make me blush a little, Ren.

Heh, owhww. Yeah ... uhmm ... well lets get our beach attire then. We have been stinky, sleepy, hungry, now we will be lazy.

I'm not stinky.

You better don't let me wait this time, Ren winked again at Sequoia.

It seemed that this time Sequoia was the faster one.

"You better don't let me wait this time" uuuhhh, well who's late now? Sequoia couldn't help but making this cheeky remark while waiting for Ren. Meanwhile he admired the view of the little spa at the house, the outside very inviting looking beds and the overall tranquility of the island.

Oh?! You're already waiting Sequoia?

Ren stood there feeling a little shy when he saw Sequoia standing there in just his swimshorts. Ren never felt insecure about his body but seeing Sequoia's physical appearance now made him rather feel very flustered. Ren never bothered much with looks. But he also remembered seeing Sequoia in the few summerdays back in the days when they grew up in the tribe. They were still young then.

What he saw now, was a grown up Sequoia, his golden skin even more pigmented, his hair more shining then ever before, and then there were those muscles. He most certainly had his training as Wood Warder as was to be expected, but look at those strong arms, Ren imagined falling into Sequoia's embrace and being held by those arms. No no no Ren! stop!

What is the matter Ren? Why are you looking so shy and flustered?

I ... Ren was trembling a little bit when Sequoia reached out and took his hand and place another hand on his left shoulder. I ... I just realised how much we both changed and grew up.

Sequoia giggled a little. Lets go to the beach silly bunny.

Ren gathered his courage and tried not get too flustered anymore and focus on some other things. The two Vieras walked down the path back to the beach where they arrived earlier that day. Ren explained that there were some other beaches at the island but this one was the most quiet one. The other two were the territory of the friendly but curious Apkallu's.

The two Vieras spent the afternoon at the beach, Sequoia did not learn swimming today as he said he wanted to be lazy. But the two enjoyed some of the water anyway. They also had some fun with observing crabs getting entangled in territorial fights, Ren showed Sequoia some of the beautiful shells that could be found on the beach . But most of the afternoon was spent, napping or talking about many things, stories of the tribe, past adventures, or dreams they still had for the future.

Ren ?

For what?

Spending time with me, being here with me. It means a lot for me.

Sequoia got up and took a comfortable sitting position. Ren tilted himself also a little up.

Ren remained silent because he felt Sequoia needed some time to continue talking. He saw that Sequoia was genuinely enjoying the peace of this place, as if a long raging storm inside him was finally calmed down.

I sometimes wondered how it must feel to expierence the true feeling of freedom and peace. As in, freedom to just ... be. As in peace for the mind, the soul. How it feels to be in a place where its just "you". This is that place Ren. I don't know what is to happen further here, but i'm so happy to be here, with ... you.

Ren stared at Sequoia for a moment, smiled and then spoke:

Sequoia, i'm so happy too that i'm here with you as well, and that you find peace on this island. I know how your life was back when we lived in the tribe. I have not forgotten the things you told me, and then also the events that led you to Eorzea.

Seeing you happy makes me even more happier. Can I ask you something?

Heh, why, sure you can ask me something Sequoia.

I asked those mammets of yours if they could prepare something special for this evening's dinner.

Hmm ? w-what do you mean Sequoia ?

You will see, Ren. Sequoia said this with a very cute smile, while he suddenly jumped up and ran towards the pathway back to the Cabin.

Sequooiiiaaaaaa!!! Where are you going? What are you up to ?

Come on Ren, it's getting dark. And i'm hungry! gahahaha!

Ren turned at Sequoia who was standing there in a rather cheeky way, nagging him to get up from the beach. What was Sequoia up to ? This was rather unexpected. It seemed like Sequoia took some initiative and arranged somethings with the mammets behind Ren's back, making things all the more mysterious. Ren got up, and slowly followed Sequoia back to the cabin

Sequoia and Dawn - Growing up as brothers

Keywords: FFXIV OC lore, brothers, abuse by father, protection, care, living in a Viera tribe, friendship matters

While both Dawn and Sequoia are separate characters, they both share a part of their lore till the Garlean invasion of Dalmasca and by extend the Skatay Range. At that point their stories and lore split up into separate stories.

Always had a crush on his best friend Ren, but never told him that untill he found him again in Eorzea. In relationship with Ren now.

Dawn and Sequoia were both born into the Greenleaf tribe. Dawn being the eldest brother and Sequoia the youngest.

Their father, Vanirr Greenleaf, who has been the chief of the Greenleaf tribe for many years before their birth, set out on a travel to meet other chiefs of the surrounding tribes. On one of those meetings Vanirr met the beautiful Nimwé. A female Viera of the Lake Warders. It was love at first sight. Her tribe agreed to letting her leave the tribe and move with Vanirr back to the Greenleaf tribe. In the years to follow they had a wonderful relationship. Vanirr proved himself to be a very succesfull chief and husband. After a year their first son, Dawn was born. Dawn was everything his father could ask for, and he felt his legacy was secured. Sadly Vanirr had not the luck to see his eldest son grow up as there were small conflicts between a few tribes. He was needed at the borders of their territory. Those conflicts were of minor importance and after two years Vanirr returned home. He changed a little, the fact that he had to wage war against his own people was troubling him. He sought comfort in alcoholic beverages, dissappointing Nimwé. She barely recognised her husband anymore and cursed the day he decided to intervene in the tribal conflicts. Yet there was still love between them. On one of his more sober days she announced to him that she was pregant again.

Vanirr was very happy, and hoping for another strong son, like Dawn. Fate was cruel, their second son was born, but Nimwé died shortly after giving birth to Sequoia. Vanirr was furious and wanted to kill the baby, blaming the little Sequoia for the death of his mother. It was one of the tribe healers, Lily (Ren's mother) who intervened, preventing Vanirr from doing something as stupid as killing his own son. The tribe said goodbye to Nimwé. Dark days for the tribe were ahead. Vanirr sought more and more refuge in drinking, and living a derailed life.

Sequoia proved himself to be a quite resilient Viera. Often found comfort in the company of his brother Dawn who stood up many time for his little brother. Both boys enjoyed the "respect" from other boys in the tribe by being the sons of the chief. Sequoia himself turned out to be quite a caring Viera and developped a rare quality of sensing lonely vieras in the tribe. This is how he met his friends: Koori, Kaen. Twin brothers and orphans. They often hung around the village causing some amok or just being "them". At first they found it funny to tease and pester Sequoia a little bit, but when they found themselves in a really dire situation, it was Sequoia who jumped in their defense. Since that day they have been unseparatedly friends.

Shortly after, Sequoia met Ren. A young viera who was often bullied because of his "strange name". Ren was not a "pure viera". Despite looking as Viera as a Viera can look. Ren was the son of Lily and Naoko Kimura. Naoko was a Hingan merchant, and a viera of an old family that once left the Range and explored the world.

If there was one thing that Sequoia hated, then it was bullies. He had his reasons for that. Ren was first reluctant, having trust issues with people and thinking Sequoia had maybe other motives. It took a while before Ren got along with Sequoia. But more and more they hung out, Ren got introduced to Koori and Kaen, and also Sequoia's brother Dawn. This was the beginning of a very special friendship. More and more, the two boys enjoyed the company of each other and they develloped a very close friendship, a friendship that even turned into love unbeknownst to each other.

Behind the closed doors of their home Sequoia's life was anything but happy. Hated by his father Sequoia was often the victim of his father's aggresive behavior and more then once he got beaten or abused. Vanirr often was drunk and did not even saw or listened to reason. In this matter Sequoia stood often alone because for long time Dawn was not there, because of his training as Woodwarder. The Council of Elders were all friends of Vanirr and they did not listen to the young Sequoia. Sequoia often had to endure the abuse by his father. He sometimes shared the burdens of that with his close friends but often kept it just quiet and made up excuses for injuries.

Ren, Koori and Kaen wanted to do something about it, but being seen as outcasts in the tribe they could not reach out to the Elders. Koori and Kaen were orphans and had "weird colored fur" and Ren was the "stranger". Not many Vieras in the Greenleaf tribe were fond of helping them. Ren's mother Lily, was the village healer and often helped Sequoia with his bruises and injuries. One day however Sequoia was not seen for a few days. Thats when Ren, and KK decided to reach out to Dawn at the Training Grounds and inform Dawn of what was going on. Dawn rushed home and found Sequoia on the floor, bleeding and beat up.

Dawn who was otherwise a calm and very composed Viera lashed out at their father with the intention of killing the drunk Chief. Sequoia intervened because he understood the consequences. Dawn would not only be accused of patricide, but also of murdering the chief. Even if it would have been justified. He managed to calm his older brother. But Vanirr was enraged and shocked by Dawn's reaction.

Not wanting to lash out to Dawn, because Dawn was his favorite son, he just yelled that this day, this decision to attack his father was his biggest mistake. Normally the Tribal Law dictates that any attempt on the chief's life is punishable by death. Vanirr however had lack of certain traditions and kept this quiet. Instead he banished Dawn from the Greenleaf tribe. Dawn had a hard time accepting this fate. Because it would mean having to leave his brother behind.

He made a promise and threat to his father however. If Vanirr were to ever touch or lay a finger on Sequoia again, he would return and kill him. Vanirr laughed it away. Sequoia felt lost. Dawn took Sequoia outside to a quiet place and promised that he would do everything he could to keep his little brother safe.

During his training as Woodwarder, Dawn had met a few curious male Vieras who went by the name of Akane and Ash. Akane was a mage and oversaw the training parcours with some illusions to confuse the trainees, training their perception and intelligence. Ash was the battle master and trained the boys in the martial arts. Dawn became good friends with Ash. Dawn reached out to Ash this time to tell him of what Vanirr decided. Ash promised to Dawn to keep an eye over Sequoia and his friends. Ash and Akane, being exiled from their own tribe themselves moved in with the Greenleaf tribe and found their way to Sequoia, Ren Koori and Kaen. Akane and Ash also were couple, and were a few years older. They came up with the idea of founding a "secret gathering". They found a nice spot in the woods, secluded and built a treehouse there. For Ash and Akane it was a home, but also a refuge for Sequoia and his friends, and a place were Dawn could visit his little brother.

Thus the Treehouse Club was founded. In the years that followed Sequoia somehow found himself in better situation and his father did not seem to care about his whereabouts. Sequoia and Ren's friendship further developped more. And the Threehouse Club even expanded a little bit with two more members over time. Faunus a very shy and younger Viera who often spent time on his own in the woods or with the healers taking care of the plants and flowers. And Dorian, a wandering Rava Viera who had to leave the Golmoran Jungle in search for a new home because a forest fire destroyed his home. Dorian wandered a little bit in a wrong direction and found himself in the Range. Yet all found friendship and acceptance within this mini tribe called the "Threehouse Tribe".

Then misfortune struck again. His best friend Ren, had some ill news. Ren's father Naoko had to undertake a long travel to Hingashi. He had some trade business there and also wanted Ren to meet his grandfather. It was bad news, it struck hard. Especially since Vanirr also made it clear that he expected Sequoia to find a partner to marry after he completed his Woodwarder training (which was soon about to start as well).

But, Sequoia understood the situation, be it with a little bit of heartache. It was an important journey for Ren. The Kimura family as Ren had told him had some influence at the Bakufu (similar to the Japanese Shogunate) in Kugane due to being skilled samurais or merchants. The two boys said their goodbyes and reminded each other that they will see one another very soon again. And when they do they would have more stories to share.

Little did they know that, this day was a day that they both learn that life doesnt always go the way they think it goes, and for both boys tragedy awaited, lurking in the shadows.

(What happened to Ren is for another story)

Sequoia shortly after Ren's departure started his training as Wood Warder, under personal supervision of Ash who became his training buddy. The training was hard and cruel, mainly because Vanirr found it occasionaly fun to meddle in the course and make it exceptionally difficult for Sequoia, all in a drunk whim.

Sequoia however was even more resilient then he ever was, and grow as a Viera. Displaying quite impressive physical strength and intelligence. He finished his trained with brio and got accepted in the company of the other Wood Warders.

At that time his father was more often distracted with outside rumors. There was mentions and rumors of a threat. The Garlean Empire had invaded Dalmasca and progressed far through the land, coming close to the borders of the Range. Vanirr was suddenly concerned. The Greenleaf tribe lived close to the borders in the north, close to Dalmasca. What shortly followed was a catastrophe.

The war indeed reached the forests of the Skatay Range and many tribes found themselves in sudden need of taking up arms and uniting in defending the homeland. Even the Greenleaf tribe.

Dawn rushed as fast as he could back to his former tribe and searched for Sequoia, but it was already late. The fires of war had reached their territory. It was chaos.

Vanirr tried to lead the tribe into battle but because of his constant drunk nature one can take "tried" very literal. He abandoned his tribe and fled. It was Dawn and Sequoia who both took up the arms and tried to get as much as possible Vieras into safety trying to fend of the Garleans so that women and children could flee.

When they saw that they were on the losing hand and no match for the magitek weapons of the Garleans Dawn and Sequoia had to take a hard decision. Die or survive. Both brothers chose the latter. And made it their top priority to find , Ren's remaining family (Lily and Ren's sisters Natsumi and Yumi) and their friends (Treehouse club). This was no easy task. In between the fires, the bullets, the bombings, the war machina, they searched, and searched, and searched.

Dawn found Ren's family, alive and well. Sequoia found the other boys.

But their home was destroyed, the forest was crying, the flames raging. What mattered now was survival. But they all suddenly realised that with one fateful event a life can be over, just like that. And not one of them ever did anything in their lives that they actually dreamed of doing. All they had known was duty.

Dorian who knew a bit of the world proposed to take his lover Faunus with him to Thavnair, where they wanted to study alchemy and the art of dancing.

Akane expressed that he always wanted to see Hingashi. Ash only nodded and agreed to following his husband.

Koori and Kaen were a bit lost, being young still they had seen horrors, but they also fought very fiercely in the defense of their homes. they somehow worked best as duo and were exceptionally skilled with blades. Yet there they stood, defeated and looking at how the fire consumed the forest.

It was in that moment that they looked to Sequoia and reminded him of Ren. You have a promise to keep, Sequoia. Why not leave this pile of firewood now and set out to seek Ren? They asked. Sequoia seemed to find courage in those words and looked at his brother.

Dawn looked back and smiled. Ren is your destiny, little brother. Its up to you now "chief". Sequoia was visibly blushing. He asked Dawn what he would do? Thats where Dawn told Sequoia he would say his goodbyes and take Ren's family to safety, the true duty of a Woodwarder is to protect. And that was what he would do.

One day they would all be reunited again. But not today, today it was time to set out and survive.

Sequoia left the Range with Koori and Kaen with the goal to find Ren.

Dawn left with Ren's mother and sisters to keep them safe and find a place to live in peace till they can be reunited once again.

An Unexpected Date

After Sequoia inviting Ren for an informal "dinnerdate" at the beach earlier the two Vieras returned to the Cabin to get dressed for the occassion. Ren was very curious and excited to see what Sequoia was up to. He suddenly had been very acting mysterious, teasy and overall adorable, caring. Sequoia had been like this since he met him back in the Skatay Range though, but it was more intenser now.

Soon the two Vieras found themselves at the table outside, enjoying the food, the warm tropical evening and ... each other's company.

Honestly Ren, the mammets make delicious food! I have never eaten such curious meals in my life before, what did you call it ? a pizza ?

Yes, a pizza. Eorzean cuisine is very strange, but somehow very nourishing.

Aghh Ren, I could live in a place like this, you know ?

You're welcome here Sequoia. I would like it even when you would want to live here.

Ren could not help himself again. Sequoia was so beautiful this evening, he took the time to get ready and dressed. It was so adorable to see. And then when he talks ... Ren could listen hours to him. It was clear that infatuation was taking over.

After finishing their meals, being a large La Noscean Pizza "Island Style", and a very sweet dessert made from the local fruits, the two Vieras talked for a good while again. Mostly Sequoia talking about some small adventures, and how his Woodwarder training went, and some funny jokes, tales and cute gossips about their other friends.

Oh Ren, when Koori and Kaen return with our friends I should mention that Dorian and Faunus are a couple. They found their way to each other.

Really ? Ahwww, but they are perfect together. Faunus really deserves someone as caring and loving as Dorian. And they share a similar passion for nature. So we have two couples in our friendcircle then ?

Hmhmhm. Sequoia nodded mysterious.

Akane and Ash already were together when they came live with the Greenleaf Tribe. Now Dorian and Faunus. This will be fun when they all are here.

It's great to see them together like this. Sequoia's expression got a bit more serious now.

And then we also have Koori and Kaen, the twins. Who seem to not being able to be in a relationship with someone for long. One way or another they struggle with it. Mostly because of jealousy. And Dawn, my brother, choose to live on his own I think.

Ahah. And what about you Sequoia?

What about me ?

Yes. Did you found someone to share your life with?

Sequoia froze where he sat.

Sequoia only spoke Ren's name and then went completely silent, slightly trembling. He stood up and walked away further in the garden. Leaving Ren sitting there at the table. Ren needed a while to gather himself and walk to Sequoia. He found Sequoia standing underneath the Wisterias in the garden.

Ren stepped a little bit closer.

Sequoia was trembling but also smiled at Ren.

The two Viera stared at each other for a moment, until Sequoia broke the silence. He walked to Ren and took Ren's hands in his, and looked Ren in the eyes.

Sequoia ... Ren stared right into Sequoia's green eyes, he saw a light in them, something he saw a few times before, but never so intense as now.

Ever since I've met you, ever since we became friends. I have a always been feeling this strange feeling in myself. This feeling evolved over time into something bigger I think. Breakfast in Limsa

The evening before Ren and Sequoia left Gridania via airship. The flight was rather turbulent and Sequoia had to endure this strange expierence. Sequoia never saw these flying marvels before, since all he had know was the comfort of the Skatay Range. Being of a more teasey nature he decided to overreact a bit and give Ren little surprise. While at first he surely felt like not very comfy in the air the Viera adjusted rather well, but enjoyed getting attention from Ren for being overdramatic. Unknown to Ren this behavior was the start of something wonderful.

"Ughhhhh! Never again do I set foot on an airship anymore Ren!" Sequoia shouted while leaving the Limsa Airship landing.

Whaaaa?? OI ! yelled Ren surprised.

Ghahahahahaahaha! You ... should ... you should ... ghaahhaahhaha ... you should see your face Renniboyyy! ghahahah!

As Sequoia seemingly was stuck in the outburst of laughter because of pranking Ren, Ren stared at his companion with a rather piercing gaze, ("if eyes could shoot fire").

I can always leave you here on your own, in the middle of Limsa, busiest city of all Eorzea.

Sequoia grabbed Ren a little bit tighter and embraced him in a very intimate way that drew a thin line between an amicable embrace and a romantic embrace. Ren could not help but stare right into Sequoia's eyes and had to quickly gather himself not to drown in them.

As Ren was obviously blushing a lot, Sequoia noticed this all too well, but to avoid Ren panicking he acted as if he did not see this.

The two Vieras walked to the gates and left Limsa for a good while. Off to Moraby Drydocks!

Ren and Sequoia embarked, and rowed their way to Ren's island, it was not so away from Moraby Bay.

As Ren and Sequoia arrived at the island, Sequoia could not believe his eyes. Jungle, white shores, azure blue water, colors beyond his imagination, birdsong all over the place, the sound of the washing waves, and the sweet scent of this tropical paradise greeted and welcomed the Vieras. Could this be ?
