Two faraway societies of Outsiders, previously distant in the minds of the Kingdoms, will be left with no choice but to rely upon the cats of the Court and Empire despite the clashing of customs and beliefs. But the Kingdoms struggle enough to make sense of their own rising internal tensions - will they prevail under the weight of the conflict and deceit that their new guests will bring, emerging stronger with new allies? Or will they collapse, unable to hear the song of the hound and unwilling to see the dance of the albatross? Be mindful of the ground which you stand upon. Listen closely to the air which sustains you. Soon, the lands of both the Court of the Starlit Springs and the Daybreak Empire will be met with the presence of newcomers, and the gates to the Kingdoms of Moon and Sun shall be opened once more ...
