So I’m moving soon and since parking at my new place is complicated, I have to apply for a residential street parking permit from the city. And this process has been much more difficult than I would like and involved uploading a bunch of documents.

After submitting everything, I got an email from the permit office rejecting my application because I had failed to “provide a valid drivers license.” A license that I had painstakingly scanned in and cropped so that it was straight and looked nice. I was upset because what do you mean my license isn’t valid???

So I went to the application portal to look at the file I had uploaded to see what was wrong with it. Maybe the file size was too big or something? And when I clicked on ‘view document’ do you know what I found?

sorry i haven’t been posting much. i haven’t had time to draw a ton on my tablet since all of my studio classes are traditional this quarter.

currently obsessed with grian and have been watching both old and current hermitcraft so so much. i’m doing a piece based off of Moon’s Big for my drawing class, and i’m very excited about it. :)

have a crappy-drawn grian that i i did as a warmup the other day— ironically keeping a video on in the background makes me do my homework faster. most of the time. :)

Sam turned to Roy, hoping to ease the tension with a joke, but Roy had his phone to his ear. Rebecca, he mouthed in response to Sam’s arched brows, and then, out loud, “No, nobody’s fucking died, I just don’t think you need to keep waiting in traffic for another two hours.” A pause. “Well, Moe’s a fucking menace to society, and you shouldn’t listen to what he says anyway.” “Isaac is texting me,” announced Jan Maas. “He wants me to tell you to get your arse outside this instant or else there will be severe repercussions.” Sam was fairly certain Jan Maas was pulling his leg, but he also wasn’t in the mood to test Isaac’s capacity for enacting severe repercussions. He hiked Jamie higher in his arms, allowing the other man’s head to loll against the curve of his shoulder, and began the slow, careful walk to the edge of the stage. Jan Maas stuck by his elbow the entire time, and Roy trailed behind, still attempting to convince Rebecca that she and Nora should turn around and go home without voicing the reason for the party’s abrupt end.

stupid thing to complain about but in the internet hemisphere it sucks when you hear someone say they like "slasher movies" and you know inevitably that 9 times out of 10 it will never mean anything more then they like scream or the big three or black christmas . because other slasher movies from that decade that deserve the limelight just dont have the same, idk, 'yaoi' appeal or characters that fandoms can strip of their main source to project whatever they want onto them . like maniac or pieces or blood rage or edge of the axe or the burning or mortuary or whatever will never be That popular or ever mean anything in "slasher fandom" spaces cuz theres just no audience for it . it sucks that you have to really seek these convos out & all that artistry and passion goes down th drain .
