hii i am fully taking advantage of your offer to take gif requests. i'm not sure if you meant any show but i would love to see this part in futs where mork places pi's hand on his chest: youtu.be/aL0iqMkVi7c (around 9:30)! futs is a show that caused me a lot of frustration but at the end of the day i am a simple pondphuwin fan. regardless, thank you for your wonderful gifs and being such a delightful presence on my dashboard πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—
this is so kind, my initial reaction was "wait i think she's got me confused with someone else" πŸ˜‚ thank you so much!! i checked the link out and younger pondphuwin <3 the good news is this looks like it's gonna be fun! the bad news is it's a relatively dialogue-heavy scene and im currently figuring that type of set out so i might take some artistic liberties to make it work πŸ˜‚(i may shorten the scene a lot, just a heads up)
thank you for requesting something (pondphuwin... it's gonna be like working on nlmg haha), i'm going to do my best ❀️

I saw you talking about how you love Robespierre's death mask- what do you think about that busted looking CGI face they did
BE NICE TO HIM-
I'm probably one of the only ones (besides my fiance) who likes the CGI rendering I'm sure. And while yes, there are things I disagree with because its the work of an artist, and artists take liberties, I still believe it's one of the closest things we have to him. The things I disagree with are mostly his eyes- I feel they were rendered too small, you can see that by looking at the original death mask and the portrait (their width should be more on par with the width of his nose) and that dollar store looking wig. But even so, I believe the famous portrait of him was done in 1790 (correct me if im wrong) and by 1794 our boy was GOING THROUGH IT.
It doesn't suprise me that he looks craggier and more tired than one would expect, his autoimmune disorder was apparently getting worse (no doubt with the help of stress) and I while we know he was clean and neat I can't see him looking absolutely pristine after his death. The deathmask caught everything from his small pox scars to his stubble. The CGI rendering shows a man with the weight of the world on him, not entirely cleanshaven, perhaps a bit disheveled is the right description. And with his face neutrally resting he just looks tired. And god, I can only imagine how tired he was.
As for the scars/texture of his skin- am I supposed to find the small pox scars ugly? Its no different than acne scars and he just strikes me as the face of a 36 year old man with the weight of the world on his shoulders.
And besides, as ugly as those who knew him described him, he had those who swooned over him, so I can only imagine the sort of charm he could bring to his features when he spoke to those he felt he truly enjoyed the presence of- such as Charlotte and Augustin. What kind of little looks, body language he had- thats what the CGI rendering doesn't show us, and what I think about often, and what makes me personally swoon like some dainty thing in lace πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
My fiance, ever a lover of unique faces, adores him as well, and has been planning on drawing him soon, and is the one helping me put Dollspierre together

just popping over to say your mcd has absolutely fucked me up, but it's gorgeous and so well-written, and im genuinely enjoying it, when i can wipe away my tears to read it that is
It has me pretty tied up too πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I had to take a break from it because it was so painful, but I do genuinely enjoy the process of creating something so...whump...because it affords me a lot of artistic liberty.
Thank you so much for reading it! I’m sorry it made you cry :// Thank you for the love and staying anyway! ❀️❀️πŸ₯Ί
