life is full of surprises:

They wanted a funeral for Steve.

"Why?" she asked, doing careful work not to meet anyones eyes while she carefully packed away a file that read Bowling. "It's not like there's a body."

There's silence. It's tense and akward and no one likes it. Especially not her.

"To give everyone a chance to say goodbye," Jones says careful, catching her hand before she can turn away. "We're not asking you to organize the damn thing, Pegs. You don't deserve that."

She huffs and tries not to think how warm his hand is. She lets hers hang loosely, finally picking her head up to meet the Howling Commandos. Steve's Commandos.

No. Hers. Theirs.

They shouldn't be here. The war might be over and people celebrating in the streets but their had just begun.

Yet she had the sneeking feeling Phillips was the reason they were here. He was out of the office for some reason or another after watching her like a hawk.

Its not like she needed a babysitter. Even if the company was mutely appreciated.

"Okay," she finally sighed and pulled her hand away. "However...I'm not going." She paused and sees Jim nod to Pinky and Dugan looks almost nervous. "I'll be taking temporarily leave to return to Brooklyn to see Winifred Barnes. Jame's-"

"Mother, we know," Dugan interrupts. "We're coming with you. Ah-not because you need to be watched but he was our friend too. They both were. Howard and the Colonol can plan the funeral."

Peggy had the suspecting feeling they already had been.

It's two days later Peggy finds herself in company of Winifred Barnes and James' baby sister - Rebecca. She's no longer the baby Bucky reminisced about. She's 12 and quick witted and misses her big brother very much.

As many soldiers, James lied about signing up soon as he could. He was drafted. There was paperwork left in his mother's care proving this.

Winifred knew about her, about the Howlies, and about Steve, even his untimely death.

"James loved much in life," she told Peggy and some of the Howlies over a cup of tea. The others played a game of marbles with Becca and given Jim's moans he lost another game. "He loved life. His sister. Steve in his own manner. He didnt want to go but he put on a brave face. We all did. Most of all, Miss Carter I know he loved you. The same way Steve did. Their letters came often and spoke about you or the Howlies more than anything."

"...they wrote about me?" It was logical, yes but it was a shock to her system.

Winifred chuckled and squeezed her hand softly. "Yes. Often. Quite often. Steve even.. " Her throat bobbed and she took a long sip of her drink. "Captain Rogers asked me to give you something if you...ever came by in the time of his death. Or...Howard Stark. He was sure I could find him."

That was Steve...have the utmost fate in people.

Captain Rogers. Not Steve. Steve was too personal. Captain Rogers wasn't. It wasnt Steve who laid dead in a frozen tundra but Captain Rogers - a war hero.

Steve was still alive in them.

Peggy's thoughts were distracted when Winifred came back to the table with a small, locked box. Inside were a few letters, a will, and a small ring box. She slid it across the table to Peggy who didnt want to pick it up.

She knew what was inside and didnt trust herself.

"It's okay. He wanted you to have it," Its Dugan who spoke, muttering beside her. "He talked often about...life with you."

Peggy's fingers trembled as she opened it up and inside laid as she expected - wedding bands. Tarnished with age and a diamond missing off of one but cared and loved for. Sarah Roger's wedding bands.

Steve wanted her to have them. To marry her. "Steve."

The tears flowed before she could stop herself, Winifred walking around to hug her and shooing the boys off like she was their mother. They knew when to listen.

Peggy didnt know when the tears stopped. When she was handed a quilted blanket Steve had once stitched by hand. It was small and uneven, the stitches were wonky and smelled of dust but it was perfect.

She missed him.

Another two days later, Peggy finds herself at the bar. The rings are stored on a necklace tucked into her blouse. She's on her third drink, listening to the boys trade stories about the time James tried to adopt a goat.

Winifred had assured her Steve and James both loved her and their deaths were not in vain. She did not blame them for her son's deaths because Steve might not be hers biologically but he might as well had been.

"It's time," she hears Howard beside her grunt, nodding to his pocket watch. He shares one last sombering look with her. "Are you sure...? We dont blame you but it be nice..."

"Putting empty caskets into a ground might soothe you and the guys and the public but not me. I'll be here when you get back." She paused and saw the way his shoulders slumped. "I promise."

"I know, kid, I know." Peggy doesnt mind how he kisses her temple. Or how scruffy his cheeks are. Or the alcohol on his breath. "Come on, boys. We got a funeral to crash."

Its not even an hour in to Captain Rogers and Sergeant Barnes public funeral when Peggy finds herself not alone. She's unsure how long the persom has been behind her, her senses are dulled while under the influence.

The hand touches her and she reacts. The man is on his knees and she lets go, letting out a gasp and scrambling back on the dirty floor.

The drinks must be laced. Or playing tricks in her exhausted state. Or...or...grief.

There's no way Steve Rogers is standing in front of her. He's worst for wear. His uniform is tattered. He had an exposed gash on his shoulder, his eye is black. She can see a few specks of glittering glass on his uniform. Any in his skin looked to be picked out. Hes barely standing and staring at her, unmoving.

"You werent at the funeral."

"Who goes to their own funeral?!" Is all she can shout. She has a hundred and one things to say. She can't think of them. "You're not real."

"I dont think being in this much pain means I'm fake."

He starts to fall and Peggy catches him. Hes solid. Cold and warm. Skin green and pale. No. Hes real. Hurt. But very real.

She wants to cry. To be angry but she can't find it past the relief. Especially when his eyes open, thick lashes fluttering to reveal pretty baby blues.

Hes holding onto her chain, stroking the rings.

"You got them. Good."

Thats how Steve Rogers came back into her life. Ignoring his own funeral, beaten and bloodied, and knowing where she'd be.

That's how a very real and a very hurt Steve Rogers did the most Steve thing ever to come back into her life.

Always taking her by surprise.

They suffered and now you know.

Remember the good times? Of course you will. But NEVER forget the bad times because they matter so much more. Dont ever regret leaving him. He did not deserve you. You deserve so much more.

You do things for yourself now. You spend time with people who make you happy for yourself because how you feel does matter.

Adam is offering you the chance to be a different person with him, just like jalsa has. You are whoever you want to be this fime around and you are not scared to do it. You do not have these constructs you must follow. You do not have to be jealous of a person who doesnt know yet what you know. You dont have to miss a person who was on track to causing you serious emotional harm. You feel like youre free. You are free. The fact that you think you weren't is an illusion. One day you will know better what you could have doen with these emotions, but thats just the way it is. Its always going to be like that.

This has been the best and the worst year, but arent you happy for it? Arent you happy for finally coming back around and meeting yourself, almost exactly where you left off? You dont know where you had been all this time but you came back, and arent you excited about it? Arent you excited to introduce this person you've been missing all these years to everyone you know? You aught to be exhilarated.

Life is hard but that's what makes it great. Remember what you said to Adam? What's chaos at one level, is harmony at another. These last couple years were the while blood cell years of your life. You did your time; you showed up and fought the infections away. You didnt know if you would make it through, but you did it. You didnt know how you would, but you came out the otherside, alive. Forget what they want of you--you are finally you again and you have earned the right to be that person. Like Jim Craig earning the right to live in the mountains, that terrible decline. You held on all the way as many parts of yourself looked on after you in horror, sure that you wouldnt complete the ride. You are the horse and the rider. The audience and the performer. Look what you have managed to do.

Dont feel good right now? Dont forget the struggles you lived through. Dont Forget the things you have accomplished. Dont forget the person it helped tou to become--never once damaged enough to ruin you.

You are finally reaching the end of this. Nevermind what they want you to feel. You know how you really feel. You know what kimd of arms you want to be held in. You know the kind of love you value, reflected in the eyes of these new friends in your life. Nothing else. Its a choice between love and fear. Isn't it just a ride? Dont take it so seriously. Dont try to fool yourself, you know, you made it. It's all you.

Origins:

Family History: ‘Jim’ was the result of an unwanted sexual act between her mother, a native american called ‘Speaks with Lillies’ and Colonel Albert Abberneth. Her mother ran from her tribe when she found out she was pregnant and raised you alone for 10 years, until her mother was found by a gang who threatened her and Jim, her mother was eventually killed and Jim ran for her life and hid. After a few days of walking Jim came across a cabin that housed an Army deserter, James ‘Jim’ O‘Drarey, he adopted her and raised Jim for 6 years until the army found him and killed him, Jim adopted his name and set out for revenge. She built up her body and practised brawling and grew to an astonishing 6′ 2″ she now goes form town to town fighting well, drinking alot, and winning all of her bets until shes found by Nora-Jane and taken to the Van Der Linde camp.

In Camp

How They Joined: Jim was drinking in the Valentine Saloon on a cool summers night, there was talk of a new gang coming into town. ‘Great just what we fuckin need’ the whiskey here was alright, but not the best she’d tasted. It had been a quiet night, hardly a brawl until she saw some little girl walk in, long curls and a cheery demeanour. ‘She’ll get eaten alive in here and that ain’t none of my business’ through the night the little girl was really becoming popular, and stealing everything worth stealing, ‘damn she’s not half bad’ but she got caught, a stupid mistake nothing more. He was one hell of a big guy, but Jim was bigger, the man shouted bloody murder at this child and before Jim knew it she had crossed the bar and punched him out cold with one hit, “Anyone else wanna try me? Or her?” a shout that shook everyone to the core, except the girl. When Jim left she was there waiting for her, “You should come back with me to my family, you look lonely” ‘I am lonely, she’s sharp’ “Sure” and then she was taken back to the gang.

Where They Sleep: Under no tent, with nothing but a bedroll and a bottle of whiskey, the furthest from the camp, probably under a tree

Where You Can Find Them: Punching a tree to practice, or sparring with someone, or doing chores

Relationships with Gang Members

Dutch: Jim admired Dutch but is wary of him as she sees his slow decline, he treats her fairly but he almost always asks more of her than the others. She’ll come back from a hunting trip with two deer and he’ll still ask her to go early next morning for more.

Arthur: She confides in Arthur about her past and how she feels about the gang members, he listens and doesn’t judge her, everyone needs someone to talk to about things, in the end she sides with Arthur indefinitely

Hosea: Hosea is her 2nd surrogate father, he begins to teach her to write, and she becomes extremely attached to him quickly, he brings out her personality and trust, she borrows his books to practice her reading but no one ever sees where she goes to read and they dare not follow her.

Romance

Her and Sean make quite the pair, she first met him after he’d been rescued and they had a major drinking competition,no one knows who won but they were both still awake and drinking when the others started rising for chores. He brings out the laughter and humour from Jim, something someone hasn’t been able to do for a long time, his accent gets her the most, her father was Irish and it held a special place in her heart. The others don’t know how Sean managed to tame Jim or even talk to her, they’re scared shitless of this 6 foot 4 galumphing woman, but Sean finds it amazing. He clings onto her for dear life, she picks him up and kisses him, and when she’s carrying a massive dead stag with one arm? Well, mark him down as scared AND horny, don’t even ask about when she’s chopping wood with her shirt off and a loose undershirt drenched in sweat underneath, she’ll give him so much affection and winks in public, and Sean returns each one of them tenfold. His death hits her hard, she runs into town and drinks until she’s blacked out, and she wakes up to the rain and Nora-Jane wide eyed to all the bodies around her, unconscious and beaten. “Lets go home, Jim”

I genuinely teared up at so many different touching parts and I was just wondering what are your favorite most heart-wrenching/emotional parts from the books? ok so literally i will cry my way thru the entire series when i reread bc harry potter has so much emotional weight for me and so many memories that go along with it. but i decided to limit myself to just 10 bc otherwise id be sitting here typing all day. so w/o further ado:

HARRY READS LILY’S LETTER IN DH: listen harry doesnt actually spend a lot of the books angsting over the fact that he doesnt have parents but in moments like this u remember he IS AN ORPHAN AND IT GETS ME SO HARD. fuk like just picturing harry crouched on the floor of sirius’s bedroom reading that letter… rereading it… crying… wow.gif!!!!! the line that makes me cry eveRY TIME is “She had made her g’s the same way he did : he searched through the letter for every one of them, and each felt like a friendly little wave glimpsed from behind a veil.“ LIKE RIP RIP RIP ABORT ABORT ABORT ITS TOO SAD!!!!!

THE LOST PROPHECY IN OOTP: JESSESCREAMING.JPEG!!!!!!!!!!!! listen ,,, i talk ab this chapter so much on my blog. it is my #1 favorite moment in my #1 favorite harry potter book which is my #1 favorite series of all time. SO ITS A PRETTY BIG DEAL. harry’s reaction to sirius’s death… his anger at dumbledore… his grief… his discovery of his fate… its beautiful writing and its so painful but so amazing to read. LIKE!!!!! MY BABY!!! HE’S LOST SO MANY PEOPLE!!!!!!!! MY SWEET SUMMER CHILD!!!!!!!!!! “I DON’T CARE!“ Harry yelled at them, snatching up a lunascope and throwing it into the fireplace. “I’VE HAD ENOUGH, I’VE SEEN ENOUGH, I WANT OUT, I WANT IT TO END, I DON’T CARE ANYMORE!” “You do care,” said Dumbledore. He had not flinched or made a single move to stop Harry demolishing his office. His expression was calm, almost detached. “You care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it.”” LIKE LITERALLY WHEN I GET TO THIS POINT I HAVE TO TAKE A BREAK BC IM CRYING SO MUCH I CANT MAKE OUT THE WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!! also fun story: one time i was listening to ootp on audiobook while on vacation and we were in the car waiting to taxi on to a ferry boat and we were listening to this chapter when the ferry guy came by to take our tickets and i had like TEARS STREAMING DOWN MY FACE and jim dale is yelling as harry in the background…. the guy was like ‘is this bitch ok??’ lmaOOOOo

HARRY AND THE MIRROR OF ERISED IN SS: this is another one of those moments where you remember that harry is an orphan and its /so/ painful. thinking about this teeny 11 year old baby harry sneaking out every night just to sit in front of this mirror so he can see his parents………my darling baby sweetheart i love him So Much. it just makes me so sad like hes /so young/ AND HE JUST WANTS TO SEE HIS PARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHH!! it also gives way to one of my all time favorite hp quotes: “It does not do well to dwell on dreams and forget to live.”

HARRY STOPS SIRIUS AND LUPIN FROM KILLING PETER IN POA: me reading this part is literally ISAYTHATSMYBABYANDIMREALLYPROUD.GIF!!!!!! like!! my boy!! he finds out this man literally caused the death of his parents and he MAKES THE GROWN ASS ADULTS SPARE HIS LIFE… LIKE… he literally acts twice his age and is so mature and is just…….so amazing. it shows such strength and wisdom and it makes me SO PROUD. the way he references james also makes me cry because you see the relationship harry has with james even though he’s literally never met him and its so beautiful. i love harry so much.

HARRY AFTER SECTUMSEMPER-ING MALFOY IN HBP: this is literally the opposite of that last one where im so proud of harry this is def… not one of his best moments lol. he rly rly fucks up and his guilt is so raw and it makes me so emotional because i feel SO bad for him. its def an important harry moment in the books because it shows his flaws and the consequences of his rage, but it also shows how GOOD he is because he feels so bad about what happens and like willingly takes his punishment even though it means that he cant play in the quidditch match. he really like… atones and even tho its rough to read i def love that its a part of the series bc its a really like watershed moment for harry and i think it really reminds him of the wizard he wants to be. this part also leads to i think a more satisfying harry/ginny first kiss bc ginny defends harry and then him not going to the game leads to “several sunlit days” AKA ONE OF MY FAVE HP MOMENTS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

HARRY AND HERMIONE VISIT JAMES AND LILY’S GRAVE IN DH: “But they were not living, thought Harry: They were gone. The empty words could not disguise the fact that his parents’ moldering remains lay beneath snow and stone, indifferent, unknowing.And tears came before he could stop them, boiling hot then instantly freezing on his face, and what was the point in wiping them off or pretending? He let them fall, his lips pressed hard together, looking down at the thick snow hiding from his eyes the place where the last of Lily and James lay, bones now, surely, or dust, not knowing or caring that their living son stood so near, his heart still beating, alive because of their sacrifice and close to wishing, at this moment, that he was sleeping under the snow with them.” THIS IS ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE MOMENTS THAT I HAVE TO STOP READING BC IM CRYING SO MUCH I CANT MAKE OUT THE WORDS ANYMORE. I CRIED TYPING THIS. IM SO SAD.

THE FOREST AGAIN IN DH: hoo boy. hoooooo boy this is a Big One. this one is really…. wow. just. wow. [deep breath]. there is So Much in this chapter that makes me cry where do i even START. harry realizing that he has to die and ACCEPTING IT BRAVELY LIKE THE HERO HE IS. “Why had he never appreciate what a miracle he was, brain and nerve and bounding heart?” im crying….. hes so good. HARRY NEARLY STOPPING WHEN HE SEES GINNY and ginny’s crying and comforting some girl and im crying too. JAMES. SIRIUS. LILY. REMUS. WHEN HARRY ASKS IF IT HURTS TO DIE LIKE LITEARLLY I HAVE TO PUT THE BOOK DOWN AND GET UP AND WLAK AROUND THE ROOM BECAUSE I GET SO EMOTIONAL LIKE. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! when harry sees harry and screams at him ……………… rip in pieces me!!!!!!!! ALSO ONE OF HIS LAST THOUGHTS BEFORE THE AVADA KEDAVRA IS OF GINNY AND KISSING HER……….. [GUNSHOTS] [SCREAMING]

BELLATRIX TORTURES HERMIONE IN DH: fuk this scene is no joke scary like it took harry potter to another level of real darkness. hermione being tortured was so chilling like beautiufl amazing smart snarky hermione it was so painful to read like my heart rate goes up when i read it bc im worried for my girl :/ and ron is sHAKING and like screaming and literally throwing himself at the walls to try to get to her and its SO upsetting like. they are still CHILDREN like theyre all so young and they dont deserve this like. hearing her plead and stuff … its just…. too much. these are my CHILDREN i have to PROTECT them.

HARRY DIGS DOBBYS GRAVE IN DH: this is another one of those harry moments where i just want to give him a huge hug. like he insists on digging dobby’s grave by hand which is just ..... [gets choked up] its fine. and his thoughts while he dig make me so sad. he so /tired/. hes so frustrated with dumbledore and he the hallows and the horcruxes and he feels responsible for what happened. and ron coming out and helping him dig silently makes me so happy and its one of those times u really see how much rons friendship means to harry. and harry comes out of this like ... older and more mature? his wisdom and knowledge is rly apparent when he talks with griphook and olivander right after this like. he knows what hes going to do. hes made his choice. hes not going to race voldemort for the wand. i love him so much for that choice. hes such a grown man in this part like accepting responsibility, taking care of hermione and everyone like getting things in order. i love him.

MRS WEALSEY HUGS HARRY IN THE HOSPITAL WING IN GOF: “’It wasn’t your fault, Harry,’ Mrs. Weasley whispered. ‘I told him to take the cup with me,’ said Harry. Now the burning feeling was in his throat too. He wished Ron would look away. Mrs. Weasley set the potion down on the bedside cabinet, bent down, and put her arms around Harry. He had no memory of ever being hugged like this, as though by a mother. The full weight of everything he had seen that night seemed to fall in upon him as Mrs. Weasley held him to her. His mothers face, his father’s voice, the sight of Cedric, dead on the ground all started spinning in his head until he could hardly bear it, until he was screwing up his face against the howl of misery fighting to get out of him.” HARRY POTTER DESERVES MORE HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he feels so guilty about cedric and god bless mrs weasley for telling him it wasnt his fault because it WASNT!!! he did so amazing in the graveyard like.. .he saw voldemort return and he fought him and he survived and he saw his paretns and hE TOOK CEDRICS BODY BACK SO IT COULD BE WITH HIS FAMILY!!!!!!!! HE TOOK IT BACK FOR THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i would die a thousand deaths if it meant that harry didnt have to experience this pain!!!!

whew so there we go!!!!! the bottom line is obviously that i love the harry potter series more than anything and specifically i love the boy harry potter so so SO much and his suffering is agonizing to read and he didnt deserve any of it!!! i can litearlly think of SO many more heartbreaking moments in the series but here are just a handful. happy birthday to harry!!!

Totally handling a finale normally

Yes im rewatching again. Some thoughts:

*While I’d put nothing past the council, I dont think its a trap. They dont seem all that well run themselves, so vague competence is well regarded. They would assume Laszlo would follow Nadja, that would maybe separate Nandor from them but the council doesn’t seem to know Colin died either. Also Donal being chil painting Nandor whom they all mocked and groped ‘dead’ last ep proves to me at least the belief the special guests knew he was faking, cuz he was throwing a tantrum loud enough humans could hear it let alone vampires. So while you’d go oh they promoted Nadja for being ruthless in killing him, nah those vamps knew he was alive and having a fit. To separate all the vampires only works if you knew Colin would be reborn and vampires dont seem to know dick about energy vampires. Think how big that library was...like...stories of books. 2-3 pages total on energy vampires. Even filtering out porn thats a pretty small chunk.

*Srsly Girly Jim, Barren and their son the hell hound is the spin off we deserve (with an animated Sam the Cat familiar interlude). You’d think they’d be the weirdest weirdos there but they were just chillin.

*Those who said hey maybe the guide knew about Colin and set them up....no. Cuz he clearly slimed from tummy to room there was a clear trail. And he couldn’t have been down there long because even for being drama queens they would have had to have heard his crying eventually. No one incl Guillermo heard it while packing. Laszlo makes reference a few times to his totally not grieving process that he hasn’t allowed anyone in the basement at all, let alone to see his body because he hasn’t said goodbye yet.

*Guillermo: bro what with the gloves? They went from fingerless to full thru the season and they are never explained and dont seem to make any sense. Also fighting in suspenders? Dedication. He clearly went shopping when promoted.

*I think Laszlo’s motivation is legit as he said no hiding. People rightfully dont trust him now after his double cross but he seemed legit upset, and only changed when Nadja told him they’d rule the world. I also genuinely believe he did not go down to the basement til they were leaving to say goodbye. Someone said the witches hat is a big tip off and I agree. Nadja’s mad he fucking has it, I dont think he’d fake out packing it if he werent intending to go. Also he ONLY kept 3 boxes of porn lololol...so most of his shit is on its way with her. When this aired last night I first thought Colin may be WITH him, as he doesnt allow hugs and has the human food (of course no one allowed hugs). Boy that was some shit...Barry (from Archer) level double cross there bro.

*Laszlo was friends with Walt Whitman and apparently went out with 3 whores and 2 man whores the ‘afternoon’ his dad died. But he cared anyway...in a prior ep (explaining hypnosis didnt work) he references a book by his father’s ashes.

*The Guide so far hasn’t been shown to double cross so I dont think she faked Nandor out with a fake trip. Nandor is an idiot but even he knew he had to cross the ocean to come to America. I didnt catch what she said about the coffin ‘international bill of...’ but its shown they can do that easily by ship. Someone said Nandor’s train only goes 45 mins lololol. But we dont know the details...he literally didnt know anything south of delaware existed...and Laszlo thought the south (devils cross roads) was in California. I assume there was some kind of US/South America/Canada based plan then they’d ship over to Iran/Iraq and go wherever on that side of the earth. I still think the Guide did the planning, or at least the rough idea of it. He clearly did some of it (jansport). I think he basically just told Guillermo okay u make plans for u to come now. And Guillermo had, so if it was a ruse I’m pretty sure he would have pointed that out before they were to set off.

*Dry as a nuns doodaa (lololol). Nadjas scrotum joke was pretty good too. Barren must’ve feasted good today.

*So they all blurt out there plans: Guillermo says hey we fam, Nadja says she has a promotion lets go, Laszlo says fuck off with england, Nandor’s gonna get it on traveling the world. The guide also seems shocked Nadja has been given that offer so again doesnt jibe with a conspiracy.

*I know ppl wanna murder Laszlo rn (Nadja will too dont worry) but his speech about why he hates those classist dicks is very sweet. Also kinda funny cuz up to lately he was that way about basically everyone but Nadja. He looks down on Nandor for being simple but brute force, Guillermo for being a lowly familiar, Sean for being an annoying neighbor. Buuuut he grew. Sweet dumb baby he is.

*I’m kinda jealous Nandor has better hair than me. Also I very much want all his lil cape coats from this season including this one. I cant get over it kinda mimics an orange white fur coat I made a few years ago. Now I want a red one like from the first ep.

*Nandor assumes Guillermo ran to Nandor’s room cuz its a bigger and better room. I personally think that was his snap. Poor lil Memo spent all season just literally proving himself time and again to all of them but especially Nandor (how the fuck did I forget about the sire in my early recap?!? Ugh) and they’ve all at best patted him on the head (for the most part just open hostility instead but ya know). They always thought of familiars as basically slaves, less than others. Less than other humans! Less than werewolves!!! But Nandor kinda treated him like a sweet lil hell hound. This season I really think Guillermo was like ‘okay they wont make me a vampire but say Im part of the group so I’ll prove it’ and he fucking did!!! And they were all like ‘meh’. I mean in the fucking sire ep he literally says he can save them cuz if the sire dies they all die, and they literally scream at him to fuck off for being so uppity. So hes like ‘okay bye’ and they all shut up real quick.

Take away the fact he realized in the Cloak of Duplication ep he actually likes likes Nandor and that poor lil bastard has had a rough go of it. So now their all like ‘bye’ after literally yelling at him yet again and he is fucking OFF. U know when he references the day when his master doesnt care about him anymore well *fridge with stakes and garlic juice*. THAT DAY FUCKING CAME.

*”You’re only alive because I let you live...” I got a chicken or egg thing here. Guillermo is very fucking skilled at killing vampires (he killed you....gene after all) like literally throwing stakes accidentally and hitting their pics and stuff. BUT Nadja basically throat jabbed him earlier this ep, and Laszlo flips him in the coffin and defeats him with super speed at the end. Maybe he went easy on them. But in the fight with Nandor he only gets ahead because he ‘tricks’ him about the sword and Nandor looks away. Now Nandor is an idiot of course BUT I kinda think he let him win. Someone pointed out he threw that guard guy at the gym like he was a tissue...and Guillermo didnt cave the wall in when he was pushed. If he didnt let him win, I dont think he went full on at him...he could have thrown him so he landed outside the house if he wanted.

Buuut you could say the same of Guillermo. Did he go easy on him? He had the cross just hanging there. He didnt start with it.

*Does anyone really believe Nandor actually had a plan? I dont. I was convinced he’d leave him behind. But he said in Cloak he loved feats of strength with his men and that seemed to be an appeal of the cult. The only time he ever gave real kudos to Guillermo before was when he massacred the vampires at the theatre. In the wellness center he could have easily pulled away. GUILLERMO LETS GO IN THE HULA HOOP ROOM AND HE JUST WAITS. Cmon that fight got him hot and made him respect Guillermo, thats why he offered that. And I think he meant it. He really for the rest of the ep treats Guillermo like an actual equal, as he plans to make him be in Iran.

*That lil giggle when he thinks hes condescending to Guillermo about the hypnosis is like the gayest thing hes done to date. And he jerked Laszlo off last season. The minute Guillermo puts him in that headlock...thats when he started planning Im telling u. But if he hit John I dunno may have really went for it then had the cross not come up.

*This bitch didnt remember his name for 11 years, thought it was Greenburg when hypnotizing him. Didnt know Gail’s last name. Yeah hes thought some shit thru before this night.

*He packed those dolls and called him Nandor omfg. AND NANDOR THINKS HE LEFT HIM I MAY DIE. I srsly picture next season opening with him going back and opening the bag and finding that and realizing okay this wasnt done on purpose.

*Nadja’s peace out is fucking funny. I think she literally is the least sentimental. But if Laszlo even said goodbye to Nandor we werent shown. But he DID know that Guillermo and Nandor were going. This is a dif day...I can picture him ignoring them all excitedly prattling on but he knew. And u wont convince me it wasnt revenge for how Colin Robinson was treated. But I think he fucked over Guillermo strictly to protect his Nadja. Which boy does that say something about how he feels about him. Like yeah he just destroyed Guillermo’s hopes and dreams, but he did it in such a fucking englishman way...just like he you are good at what u do even tho i act like I dont care but i totally do.

Also whether he cares about Guillermo enough to not raw chicken him or just so he gets there with his baby Nadja who knows but I agree with others I very much would like to see Laszlo’s lil shopping trip. “I say shopkeep what is needed to keep a human alive?” I MEAN FUCKING PEDIALYTE. That didnt even exist until the 1990s!

*Like most ppl I’ve been alone thru the pandemic. But boy am I dead inside watching sweet lil Nandor think he was left behind by the person he loves the most. I think this will set off the realization that he actually wants him around as more than even a friend. If Guillermo didnt realize it til Cloak of Duplication then Nandor will be realizing that start of next season.

*Either Laszlo is genuinely an amazing friend to Colin or there is more to it. If Colin was a full grown human by age 4 per that pic, remembering his dad as flamboyant rupaul type makes me think theres a reason he ended up with these idiots. He says a friend recommended them to him as he had the house. How at age 3-4 did he get a damn house? I have so many questions.

Whelp thats all Ive hit on for now. Always Sunny and a few other shows that used to be in the spring (Archer too) that then went to the fall either right before the pandemic or after seem to be heading back to spring. The fact production has started makes me think we’ll get Season 4 in the Spring of 2022. They were filming this season last spring so thats why Im hopeful.
