I knew Stain was gonna die because he wasn’t a LoV villain but I'm still bummed.

Like he wanted to die, so he got what he wanted, but I sorta hoped it would be a bit more heroic, I guess. I mean, he honestly didn't do anything helpful except cheer on All Might and get killed. Just like with his past contribution, he could have been removed, and nothing changes.

I will forever be disappointed we never got tenya meeting him again or even thinking about him given this was supposed to be the villain redemption arc.

I also find it funny that so far, he's the only villain that has died trying to actually stop AfO/trying to do good. Like yes, Toga might have died saving Ochako, but it was from a wound she gave her. Meanwhile, Touya might have had his last breath, wishing his family was dead.

I'm just bummed it was so pointless and quickly moved on from. It wasn't even the end of the chapter. AfO turns him into juice, and that's the end of it--on to All Might, thinking of his other dead friends.

Which, yes All Might is far more important then Stain, but it does make it feel as if Hori just tossed him in so AfO got a kill and he tied up a lose end as fast as possible.

Given the past villain death scare chapters, I know hori can do touching ends. Like it would not have killed him to have a one panel flash back of Stain as a kid holding an All Might doll when he thinks about how he didn’t even have a high school education. It would have humanized him before becoming a blood splatter and renforced that villains used to be kids once.

Instead, we get panels of him sniffing blood on rocks. 😒

today marks one year since the last time i saw my darling little cat, elda. i miss her more than life itself. she happened to be the spitting image of a little cat teddy i cherished as a very young child, my favourite one. she and her brother saved my life at the time i needed it more than anything. she always sat next to me as i worked on my history revision and greeted me at the door when i came home from school. she and her brother sat by my leg when i sprained my ankle. she slept in my lap when i cried. she was the light of my life and wherever you are right now, i hope you’re doing well, and living the amazing life you deserve.

Im going through an intense period of self discovery right now and it’s really hard because my first response to what I find is often fear and shame

#self discovery isn’t really accurate it’s more integration of shit I’ve been cut off from for a long time #but for most of it like there was a reason I cut it off and ignored it instead of dealing with it #cuz it was too painful and made me feel embarrassed or inadequate or shameful or even crazy #but now I’ve reached a point in my mindfulness practice where it’s getting harder not to notice when something isn’t integrated #and it’s really overwhelming rn cuz there’s still so much……… but now I notice it way more…….. but my attitude toward it still defaults to #an immature one where I panic and mistrust myself #ahhh #I even feel kind of embarrassed sharing this on my main blog .. cuz idk how it seems when I talk about mindfulness stuff and I feel like its #easily misconstrued #but fuck it we ball #p

no polar bears do not exclusively live on ice. there is a seasonal ice melt and they migrate to live on land when it happens. they're said to live on annual ice because the ice is always melting and freezing in different ways throughout the year. and yes while seals make up a majority of their diet they do not only eat seals. they'll eat whatever the fuck they want. no that fat ass bear isn't starving because he's hunting ducks while waiting out the melt season.

Slightly less Dread today. We are celebrating this occasion by becoming an outdated stereotype of an old lady and struggling to knit against the will and wish of the cat attacking our fucking yarn. This does not necessarily help with anything directly, but it gives us something to focus on that isn't Dread, and that is dearly needed. If we can spare the brainspace for it, we may fire up a podcast for background noise later, or something of the like. In the current state of being, most audio things will just tip things over into being overwhelming, but if we've got enough free processing to handle this soon, we can probably listen to something. Not out of the woods yet, but if we can continue to grapple things back under control, we can probably get somewhere.

#we speak #it is not going Amazing but it is going Significantly Better Than It Was A Few Days Ago and that's all we can really ask of this Situation #after attempting to trace things back to figure out why the hell and fuck this is hitting us so hard we have discovered #1) that our Situation in 2016 was worse than previously thought #and 2) we are probably reacting like this because the 3DS internet features #were pretty much our only contact with People Beyond Our Family at that time #and something in our brain is still deeply convinced that this is the case and if we do not have online features we will have No Contact #this helps because now that we know the problem we can work on actually addressing the issue rather than just feeling Bad #we have more or less wrestled things back on course for the project. it will cut a lot of corners we are not proud of but it will be done #and that is all we can really ask of it #if all goes well we can hopefully pare down the Current Brain Situation down to a mild splintering #which will help us handle situations a lot more productively than a full blown spiral #our apologies for putting things all over the blog again. this has been an unusually intense breakdown for us #and the integration with social life meant that NOT talking about it was very much making it worse #sucks to run into old maladaptive things like this but we've got to handle it anyways #hopefully we'll be able to shore up some better new stuff while we're at it
