Summary: General dating headcanons! <3

Warnings: None, mainly fluff and wholesomeness.

- He has a habit of saying "sorry" after literally anything, it's almost like a defense mechanism for him.

- You correct him constantly, telling him it's okay and that he doesn't have to say sorry which he'll then reply with "sorry" 🤦‍♀️

- Is dense but you love him.

- Never forgets a birthday, anniversary, special occasion or any important date at all.

- I think that despite his dense nature he can actually be very perceptive in the right situations.

- Is never phased by any "weird" thing you do.

- Touch starved.

- Will crumble and melt at you just holding his hand or if your fingers brushed together.

- Harry is quite shy when it comes to affection of any kind because of how he grew up, will go lobster red if you kiss him in public but won't tell you to stop.

- Loves hugs and slow dancing <3

- You steal his favorite flannel shirt and wear it a lot, he likes it when it starts to smell just like you.

- Speaking of smells he loves your scent! It's comforting to him.

- Will accidentally wake you up because he was having a nightmare, you guys stay up talking about it.

- When you both were at Hogwarts you used to meet up after dinner in the astronomy tower.

- That became your spot.

- Feels like a normal person around you and appreciates it so much, it's one of the many reasons why he fell in love with you.

- Is super protective over you but not in a weird territorial/abusive way.

- He's a lot more subtle about it.

- Has a reoccurring dream of marrying you.

- Harry actually proposed to you while he, Ron, Hermione and you were searching for the other horcruxes.

- He proposed in Grimmauld Place, not necessarily the most romantic atmosphere and he didn't have a ring, but it was special nonetheless.

- Supports you and your dreams the same way you supported him throughout everything.

- Gets SUPER excited when you get your dream job!

- You guys get married five years after the war, you never felt rushed to get married, your wedding was small and intimate.

- Mrs. Weasley made your wedding cake.

- She told you to look after her son.

- You cried a lot that day. Some happy tears and some bittersweet ones.

- Harry loves it when you play with his hair and scratch his scalp a bit while you do so.

- He grows extremely fond of cuddling, it puts him to sleep super fast.

- I feel like all in all a relationship with him would be extremely soft and caring.

I heard the PUREBLOOD has chosen to SIDE WITH THE DEATH EATERS which explains why SHE is CHARMING and SOCIAL, but also SPOILED and TEMPERMENTAL. But who really knows?

Astor and Petra Greengrass had quite intended on staying out of the ridiculous war that was brewing, even though Astor himself had attended school with Tom Riddle. While they were still Sacred 28, the family was surprisingly progressive for purebloods. They had two young children, Uriah and Eden and they tried their best to embed this same attitude in their children.As a child, Eden often fought tooth and nail for her parents’ attention. Uriah naturally garnered the most of it due to being the heir, but Eden made sure that she had her spot too. Her father and mother doted on her as much as they could, while often being exasperated as well. When Eden was a second year, Astor and Petra Greengrass were killed due to their neutral nature and lack of dedicating themselves to the pureblood cause. Of course, the official story was that their death was ruled an unsolved homicide. Eden was taken in by her maternal grandmother, a woman dedicated to the society lifestyle of purebloods. Meanwhile, Uriah was considered an adult and moved out and soon married a nice pureblood woman. Due to the dark cloud surrounding her family’s history, Eden leaned closer to her grandmother and the pureblood society, finding it to be safer…and to be frank, she liked the pretty things that being a pureblood offered her. 

Boggart: - Herself, falling from grace. She hates the idea that the vast majority of the wizarding world would see her looking like a mess.

Patronus: Eden’s patronus (although she is currently unable to produce one) would be a large house cat.

bio;

Alecto Carrow was born on December 14th, just minutes before her twin, Amycus, entered the world. Despite being the older sibling, dynastically, she was the less important Carrow. The twin’s birth exhausted their mother and left her bedridden for several months. These months had the Carrow twins attended by nannies, as Harmon Carrow was too busy with his career and ruling the Carrow home to care for two screaming babies. Eventually, their mother, ______, recovered just long enough to begin to attend to the twins. However, it was not long until she was pregnant again. Alecto was just shy of her second birthday when her mother went into labor three months too soon. ____ Carrow died, as did her third child.

 Without a mother, Harmon Carrow was forced to step into his children’s lives. When the twins were old enough to understand, he began to educate them on the importance of their blood, their magic, and their name. To the rest of the wizard world, Carrow might not have been as important as Black, Harmon taught his children to carry pride for their name. While a number of pureblooded men rejected their daughters in favor of their sons, Harmon had realized that he would not be having any other children and thus, decided to consider Alecto his “spare” heir. Alecto’s closest friend growing up, was of course, her twin. When the two went to Hogwarts and Alecto was sorted into Slytherin first, it was only a heartbeat later that Amycus was sorted there as well. The two were inseparable during their Hogwarts years, seeing the other students below them…although they did make a few other friends, they could never compare to each other.

After their second year, Harmon decided that the twins were old enough to begin to learn his own brand of magic. He began to train the twins in dueling and his own spells, forcing the twins to duel one another for practice. He began to favor whichever twin won the duel for that day, driving a small divide between the siblings. Although Alecto still loved her brother more than anyone else, she also wanted their father’s approval. She began to compete against Amycus ruthlessly. She had long ago realized that to be the best, she had to work harder than everyone around her

Harry Potter | General Headcanons

A/N: These weren't requested or anything I've just been reading Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix. Ended up having a couple of Harry Headcanons related towards book five that I wanted to talk about!

Summary: General headcanons and characterizations I've got surrounding Harry.

Warnings: Angst, depression, anxiety, PTSD and mentions of character deaths. Spoilers I suppose? It's been out a really long time do I spoiler warn?

- He struggles a lot with sleeping because of his nightmares, so he tends to enjoy a cup of hot tea, preferably one with Valerian root in it, before bed. It eases him into sleep.

- Sort of develops a nighttime routine during the summer before school, he liked to listen to the muggle news yes, but he also enjoyed sketching in the evenings to get his mind off of how terrible he felt.

- I think he has a journal that he keeps and a lot of his sketches end up in there!

- Wakes up with a start in the middle of the night, covered in cold sweat, this happens almost nightly.

- You can find Harry dissociating in front of the fireplace in the Gryffindor common room a lot. He sometimes pictures Sirius's face within the flames.

- Stayed up late one time with Ron talking about his depression and anxieties about Voldermort.

- Is relatively confident but that slipped largely when Cedric passed away, feels as though it was his fault.

- Falls asleep with his glasses on while trying to catch up to all of his homework. The damn O.W.L.S resulted in a lot of stress in every way possible.

- Is scared he'll fail them and his thoughts and dreams of becoming and Aurora will go down the gutter.

- Has a pocket in the inside of his trunk that's filled with little muggle trinkets, mainly related to studying.

- Jumps a little at slight affection but never says a word when others give him a weird look for it. Ron and Hermione aren't stupid however and can clearly see the signs of his PTSD.

- Since he doesn't eat as well as he should at The Dursley's he struggles to eat and keep down large meals and portions.

- Has had a mental breakdown in the prefects bathroom.

- Once had a mini panic attack in Luna's presence, she talked him down quite well and it was very comfortable to talk to her, it always is for Harry.

- That being said he's not used to her affectionate touches and gestures.

- With her help he becomes used to and more comfortable with platonic displays of affection and unconditional love.

- When Sirius died Harry went to Luna and Hermione the most for comfort and reassurance.

- Talks about the muggle world all the time with Dean and they share laughs and have little inside jokes about it.

- Despite finding Herbology extremely boring and uninteresting he'll encourage Neville when talking about it and try to share his excitement in it.

- Sleeps with his blankets wrapped around him in almost like a burrito. It feels extra cozy.

- Talks to Hedwig in a baby voice when they're alone sometimes and tells the owl how beautiful she is.

- Cried for days and fell into a dark depressive episode when Sirius passed away, it was Professor Lupin who helped him out of it.
