I sketched this in response to Roe vs. Wade being overturned by the Supreme Court on June 24, 2022.

#cancel4thofjuly why celebrate when y'all are being happy that Genocide happened to the indigenous people. I am boycotting the holiday for not only their terrible way of treating the indigenous community and their history, but also because of roe vs wade. Been thinking a lot today. given that its the 4th In Canada they've discovered over 1,500 bodies of Indigenous children at former residential schools. This is just from a handful of schools. There were 139 residential schools in Canada. So some people were saying don't celebrate Canada day. In the US, there were over 350 residential schools. One of them is STILL open. If they've only just begun in Canada, think of how many Indigenous children were stolen from their families in the US, and how many of them lay in unmarked or mass graves at those 350 schools.
