Which characters from any of the guardians backstories do you wish would come back? I personally wish for the day Ship (Caryth halyan/ Aurora) would come back, she was one of the absolute best things about the classic star lord comics Id love to see her interact with all the guardians, perhaps as a massive mobile cruiser style base ?

CAMMI. 10000% cammi and none of that avengers arena bullshit. i hate that her and drax’s entire thing was just dropped despite him saying he was going to look for her it all got forgotten once heather came back (drax can have multiple daughters!! god along with phyla just make it his thing!!!). the drax series in 2016 when she turned up again also wasn’t satisfying for me.

agreed on ship! nothing more to add! and i would also love to learn more about the master of the sun.

and if they settle on this backstory for rocket, this implied brutal experimentation thing but he has false memories which are his og comics, but the reality was so much darker and worse, THAT whole thing that was randomly given to us in an infinite comic, then I want to see what that means for lylla and blackjack. hell, throw in wal-rus while we’re at it. you run the risk of retreading gotg vol3 maybe but I think the false memories aspect could put a unique spin on it. this would work better for a rocket mini but hell, we’re just spitballing here ☺️

Hiya Nonnie thanks so much for the question ! And for starlord no less, you’re in my good books already. I have mixed feelings on this one, on the one hand starved for guardians content, will accept any and all I get, and on the other the twist in this book is a hard hitting and well written one, but I don’t really like pessimistic or grim stories where nothing goes right, but I do like the crumbs of spartax lore, like it being reinforced as a heavily urban city planet with large amounts of plant life on the streets, don’t like that they just made it look like earth’s climate and atmosphere though, kinda prefer the original white sky, blue pink clouds with purple mountains and a sorta ambient golden sunlight, it’s green abandoned moon is cool too, I like the old guardians designs as well, mantis and rocket especially, find it weird that Drax is dead but thanos is alive in the book, just doesn’t make sense that. So ya know mixed fleeting thoughts that bounce round the room and change shape quicker than Caryth Halyan, Pete’s Og ship can.

Can I be cheeky ? I know you have a couple of starlord wip atm and you wanna add some short hair Star lord’s into that but can I make a request that at some point you draw peter with “ship” or aurora Caryth I think was the name she gave herself, I really miss her from the master of the sun era of starlord and I think she’d look especially nice in your art because of how thoughtful you are to Peter’s early appearances

Does anyone else have the periodic urge to talk about how Caryth/Ship's boobies were censored and how they could have shown Peter Quill's nipples more than once in that one story or is it just me.

#it took me a while to realize there were two versions but since then i go every few months like this #tumblr would you allow me to post Caryth tiddies she's not even human she's a star and a ship and that was just a creation #and i love how one specific panel is drawn wrong in the uncensored version and then they changed her hair to censor it AND IT'S WRONG TOO #it's supposed to be her reflection. the hair doesn't make sense
