very into honor and doing the right thing but in a very dwarven way that just turns into hypocrisy sometimes. like yeah she thinks honor provings are fine and it's cool to kill your political opponents if you do it the proper way but she judges Zevran so hard for assassinating people because that's wrong

in a similar vein, considers herself progressive but in a dwarven way. which basically means she doesn't think the Casteless should all die and considers herself very noble for thinking that

tells multiple people they have to let go of vengeance for the sake of the greater good. does not see the irony of this.

convinces Alistair to let Jowan kill Isolde by turning it into a guilt trip over Duncan

took Gorim for granted and when he tells her that he a life outside her now she processes that as a betrayal

fumbles Leliana

went through All That in orzammar and then didn't even dethrone her brother

went through All That in denerim and then didn't even convince alistair to be king

Darvis Brosca:

fully intended to desert the Wardens after the massacre at Ostagar

his first suggestion upon finding the mabari hound after Ostagar was to eat it

won't stop stealing things. even once he gets money he still steals stuff from rich people and calls it a matter of principle

despite all his talk, actually has a really hard time directly standing up to people with power

would not do a single side quest if Marja and Alistair weren't forcing him

promised not to fall in love with Morrigan. falls head over heels almost immediately

let multiple maleficarum who have definitely at least attempted murder go free because he liked their vibes

finally joined the party and played around a bit in the new dd character creator! couldn't get the vibes right for some of my other oc's which is what i get for making so many tieflings but it worked wonderfully for the dwarf duo!

almost everything about Darvis's childhood home was stressful, to say the least- he associates it with violence and bad memories, scrambling for money and avoiding danger, with his sister being the only bright spot in Dust Town

which makes me happy to include the board for his post-game home:

Darvis, Morrigan, and Kieran don't really have a permanent 'home'- i picture them wandering a lot, using the eluvians to get around and sticking to the wilderness while Kieran is young. but their home is each other, and this time it comes with a feeling of companionship and safety
