so i have a friend who when he makes a sandwich goes:

Bread

ham

MAYO ON THE HAM

cheese

bread

instead of putting the mayo on the fucking bread!!

how do you put your bucket sludge miracle whip on a sandwich

Actually I usually put it on the turkey (I don’t like ham) and then I roll it up and lay it crossways on the sandwich like little logs of goodness. Gets ya more miracle whip and meat for every bite without making the bread too dry

Wild and Twilight both share the same "can't stand to put their head underwater trauma" (Wild and the shrine, Twilight and his manga).

I think it would be funny if Four was like, an actual blacksmith as opposed to a swordsmith. Yeah, he can probably make you a sword, but you know what he's really good at? A new latch for your door.

I just have to know

🍬 ⇢ post an unpopular opinion about a popular fandom character

Okay, so this may not be an unpopular head canon, per se, but it’s one I’ve been seeing less and less over time. And I don't manage to read every fic that passes through this fandom, though I sure try, so feel free to let me know if my analysis is wrong.

I feel like, in the older days of Linked Universe, THoT was a lot more---stoic? just across the board in fic. He was the no-nonsense leader that was often a bit abrasive when it came to how he interacted with the others (as one might claim he is in canon). One thing I've noticed (broad generalization incoming) with Time is that there is a split, now, in how he is characterized. Often, when he is a background character, he remains that stoic leader. However, when he's more of a main focus in a fic (and often Warrior is involved), writers make him a lot more immature, for multiple reasons including that he was raised in a community of children, his internal age is off due to timeline crap, he's just only like 25 and the Chain are a bunch of teenagers that look up to him because he's an "adult", etc. Now, I LOVE both (in fact, I would suggest @breannasfluff Wing Bois AU for the characterization of Time being a main character and yet more of that stoic leader, nevertheless one that still has a carefree side and can still mess up, and I would suggest @wanderlustmagician 's Everything But Blood (Modern AU) of Time being more of an uncertain leader (dad XD) off the top of my head if anyone is looking for fic recs).

That being said, I just love writing stoic Time, especially when he's in the spotlight as opposed to the background. Because a lot of writers are right, he does have all of these influences that, despite the Horrors he's gone through, would make him more childlike---so what has happened to his psyche, that those factors have been so negated, and he's the serious leader that he is today?

So, to conclude, I don't really have an "unpopular" opinion about him, I don't think---there's just a split, and I lean one way rather than the other. That being said, I love both versions of THoT, serious and silly, and he deserves them both so much <3

Just like the last few of his "funks," Wild came out of it pissed.

Twilight pulled away and shifted to human when a full body shiver passed over the boy, then another. It wasn't long after that his breath began to shudder and hitch. And finally, Wild blinked a few times in quick succession, and a sort of light replaced the terrifying blankness that had lurked behind his eyes.

Twilight watched with bated breath as slowly, oh-so-slowly, Wild raised a hand to his hairline, feeling along the jagged edge of his new, half-cut bangs. The kid gave them a cautious, testing pull, then, a small frown on his lips, ran his fingers over them again as though reassuring himself they were actually there.

And then, Wild's face crumpled, and tears sprang anew in his eyes. In an instant, he was sobbing in earnest.

"Oh, oh Wild, I'm so sorry," said Twilight in a guilty rush. He hovered an arm's length away, unsure whether coming closer would bring Wild's ire down upon him as before. "I don't know what happened, you just stopped—stopped responding, and your face went all pale. What's...?"

Twilight might as well have been speaking to a wall. Wild clutched his new bangs in both his fists, hunching over himself where he sat as he pulled as though he could yank them out of his head at the roots. The kid let out a croaky, warbling scream that sounded eerily similar to a mother's shriek after discovering her baby dead in its crib, not that of a 14 year old discovering a bad haircut.

"Wild, calm down, look at me." Against his better judgement, Twilight stepped in and gingerly placed his uninjured hand on Wild's arm. "Talk to me, what's going on—?"

Wild scrambled up and away from his touch so quickly that he upset the chair on which he'd sat. His gaze snapped to Twilight, and the tears in his eyes did nothing to temper the pure fury and hate within them. His hands went flying in Twilight's direction: 'Don't touch me! How dare you do this to me? What have you done? I hate you! Why would you do this to me? Get away from me! I hate you! How dare you do this! I hate you! What have you done? I hate you!'

Interspersed were a handful of signs that Twilight had never seen before. He was nearly sure were profanity, given their pointed motions and the hateful look on Wild's face, and he didn't want the full translation. Nevertheless, he got the message loud and clear.

I hate you I hate you I hate you.

Twilight didn't quite think that was fair. Wild had been the one to insist he cut his hair, and he wasn't the one with fresh stitches in his hand to show for it.

If Wild were to have magic (like hyrule) what magic would he best at?

Well first off, I believe that he still has the Champion's gifts, even after he defeated the Calamity in BOTW. Mipha's Grace, Urbosa's Fury, Revali's Gale, Daruk's Protection. I kind of flip flop between believing whether the ghosts themselves stayed behind or whether they merely left their imprint, but either way I believe that their magic is now his own, in a way. And don't forget that bullet time thing he can do--I think that's his own Champion's gift.

Other than that, I would like to think he has a sort of "wild" (heh) nature magic to him, if that makes sense. He as an unexplained affinity for wild animals (such as Wolfie (which he isn't really wild but you get the point)), an ability to move with complete silence through the forests, a connection to the wilderness that isn't entirely natural. I think flowers bloom up around him, when he walks by. Maybe he doesn't have a magic as defined or focused as Hyrule's (such as his thunder or jump spells) but it is there.

What magic do you think Wild should have? Honestly, I have no ideas about what I would add to him.

OKAY! Warning here, I haven't finished Tears of the Kingdom yet, so I definitely don't have all the armor sets for that one. Also, I apologize for the basicness of my list, I'm not very creative XD.

Classic Champion's Tunic, Hylian Pants, and a Cloak. Basically, what Wild wears in the comics XD. This is on the top of my list simply because I have all of those pieces upgraded to the max, so I wear them a lot.

The Royal Guard Set. Sometimes you want to feel fancy and refined, and that is the outfit for it.

Gerudo Vai Set. Again, sometimes you want to feel fancy and also cute, and that is the outfit for it.

The Yiga Clan Set in TOTK. I'm sorry, I love walking around like that because of all the NPC reactions, it's funny.

I love fountain pens. So so so so so much. I’ve actually been saving up my money to get a REAL fancy one for myself for my birthday next month. If I could get a nice one for free—I have headaches all the time anyways—I would POUNCE.
