Round 1 results:
These are the round 1 results for both most and least popular villager. The winners of this round will continue on to most popular, the losers go onto least popular. A Magazine Curated by Francesco Risso #23
A Publisher BVBA, Antwerp 2022, 240 pages, 23 x 30.5 cm.,, ISBN 9789077745267
euro 35,00
email if you want to buy [email protected]
The 23rd issue has been curated by Francesco Risso, the Italian fashion designer and creative director of the Milan-based fashion house Marni
Drawing upon an intimate yet diverse community of artists, musicians, writers, photographers, family and friends, A Magazine Curated By Francesco Risso is an analogue exploration of the print object through a myriad of visual and philosophical stimuli that question contemporary notions of living.
Divided into 20 distinct contributions across 240 pages, the issue is conceived as a compilation of scrapbooks – each a conceptual window into the minds and hearts of a protagonist or protagonists that offers a glimpse into their creative process or journey. Opening with a sketched or painted portrait, each chapter of the scrapbook is completely unique, featuring a plethora of lo-fi techniques from handwritten and mechanically typed pages to paper collages, illustration, painting, doodling and hand-retouched photography. The issue’s playful cover mimics a red vintage scrapbook, combining multiple finishing techniques including 3D scanning, a trompe l’œil embossed ‘tape’ spine, embossed ‘A’ and spot varnished portrait of Francesco Risso himself.
Within its pages, new commissioned works include visual portfolios photographed in Los Angeles, London, Milan and New York, with emphasis on celebrating individuality with a child-like yearning to explore. A catalogue of Marni objects and their fictional mythology by British writer Charlie Fox documented by the Italian photographer Andrea Artemisio is presented alongside Marni’s core ‘cabine’ of models photographed by Rachel Chandler.
The issue documents Francesco Risso’s boundless imagination, with a playful yet profound view of materiality, nature and the human spirit. A sense of liberation is perceivable throughout, from Sergio Cattivelli’s photographic series of the designer himself role-playing a myriad of characters, choreographer and artist Michele Rizzo’s poised figurative sculpture of endless lifetimes carved from clay and 90s Americana captured on film by Francesca Sorrenti. Twenty-one original portraits immortalise each contributor, bound together in a single publication that showcases the colourful whimsy of Francesco Risso and the graphic, colourful world of Marni.

Ok Gamers lets talk about Ace Attorney and the Muppets
Granted we will be hopping around here a bit just because while there are MANY muppets not as many have actual names/personalities and stuff so keep that in mind.
...I dont have a muppet for Phoenix actually one would THINK kermit but no. Also that would make Miles Piggy and that does not work
Gumshoe: Rowlf (admittedly this ones just because Rowlf is my voice headcanon for Gumshoe)
Ini Miney: Janice
Will Powers: Sweetums
Penny Nichols: Scooter
Maya Fey: Gonzo
Larry Butz: Fozzie
I want to say Mia as Piggy? Maybe? Maybe Ema????
Ted Tonate: Crazy Harry
Wocky Kitaki: Rizzo
Klavier Gavin: Dr Teeth
Daryan Crescend: Floyd Pepper
NO WAIT EMA IS DR BUNSEN HONEYDEW
....Apollo Beaker?
I'm having many thoughts about this also Clay DOES work for Gonzo but Maya's a more major character who also fits so sorry Clay
Also The Phantom and Furio Tigre are the Moopets (the band from The Muppets (2011) who were singing with Fozzie at the hotel)
Moe is Lew Zeland

Coming into this postseason, the Sport 3 winner of the most effective sequence out of 5 tied the postseason 1-1 to win the sequence 71.9% of the time, 47 out of 51 occasions. With one exit on the backside of the ninth, Wandy Peralta’s Miles Straw’s quick fly ball fell in entrance of dive Oswaldo Cabrera and stood behind him. Whereas he was selecting it as much as toss it, Straw to second base. Singles Stephen Kwan and Yankees coach Aaron Boone got here out to the pile to herald right-handed Clark Schmidt, not the closest Clay Holmes. A former prospect within the Mets, Amed Rosario placed on an RBI single in left subject off Schmidt to chop quick the Yankees’ advance to the run. Jose Ramirez lined up one other music above the shortstop to load the bases. Naylor walked together with his boy previous Jaliber Torres. He spoiled what had been a really dramatic comeback for the Yankees. After a historic common season by which he smashed AL and Yankee’s dwelling report for one season with 62 toppers within the OPS, Slugging and RBIs, Choose was zero-for-8 with seven strokes within the first two video games of the sequence, with 4 strikes night time on Friday. So for the primary time on this post-season, Boone as soon as once more dropped the decide within the two holes as he began 427 video games of his profession. “Simply sort of woke as much as that. I did not need to focus completely on the primary kick of the sport, and issues settled down,” Yankees coach Aaron Boone mentioned earlier than the sport. “I really feel like we’re a bit lonelier than we have been 10 days in the past. so far as the place [Giancarlo Stanton] It’s now, Gleber [Torres] And the [Anthony] Rizzo for that matter. So I really feel prefer it’s extra doable now. “I imply, with out a DJ [LeMahieu] and with out [Andrew Benintendi]”We do not actually have the right ahead hitter apart from the decide,” Boone mentioned. “So I simply felt like I wished to get him in there and people two holes for a minute.” Rookie Cabrera was 0-for-8 with a five-hit entry in Saturday night time’s sport, however Boone did not hesitate to convey him again to the lineup on Saturday. “Our feeling with him has all the time been that – and a part of the reason being that first month. There have been two weeks when he was enjoying recurrently and doing very well for us defensively, the place he wasn’t actually hitting but. However for me, from my perspective, I used to be seeing a man who wasn’t extra I did not get outcomes but,” Boone mentioned. “After which, you already know, we noticed it actually take off in September. So he confirmed us at each step that he isn’t overwhelmed by something so I feel he is absolutely ready for this and outfitted for this and I am certain he’ll go on the market and accumulate some good rackets for us.” The 23-year-old minimize that on his first assault in opposition to Tristan McKenzie, lining up a double on the best subject with one on the third. This created Choose’s first hit of the post-season, which was appropriately a groundbreaking tied to the sport. This was his twelfth profession post-season at dwelling. Gerrit Cole's gem, long ball propels Yankees to ALDS Game 1 win over Guardians
Tumblr media
The New York Yankees are heavy favorites to take down the Cleveland Guardians in the ALDS, and they showed exactly why.
The Yanks took home Game 1 of the series, 4-1.
The Guardians got on the board first, as Steven Kwan hit a solo home run in the third inning off Gerrit Cole, who had given up the second-most homers in all of baseball this year. Cleveland also loaded the bases that inning with one out, ready for a huge blow. But Cole induced fielder’s choice at home and a strikeout to get out of the jam, and he coasted from there. He finished his night throwing 6.1 innings with eight strikeouts, four hits and one walk, allowing just the one run.
Harrison Bader, a Yankees’ trade deadline acquisition, tied the game in the bottom of the third with a solo shot of his own. In the fifth, Josh Donaldson thought he had given the Yanks a 2-1 lead, so he went into a home run trot. However, the ball hit the top of the short porch, and a confused Donaldson was tagged out at first base. The Yanks quickly made up for it though – the next batter in Isiah Kiner-Falefa singled and reached third on an error by right fielder Oscar Gonzalez, and Jose Trevino’s sac fly gave the Yanks a lead.
In the sixth inning, Cal Quantrill walked leadoff hitter Aaron Judge, but the damage was done instead by Anthony Rizzo, who hit a two-run shot into the second deck to give the Bombers a 4-1 lead.

YORDAN ALVAREZ’ WALK-OFF HOMER COMPLETES ASTROS’ COMEBACK IN GAME 1 OF ALDS
After Cole left to a standing ovation, Jonathan Loaisiga put the tying run at the plate, but Amed Rosario grounded into a 6-6-3 double play to end the threat and leave Jose Ramirez on deck. The Guardians also grounded into a double play in the eighth to kill all hopes.
The Yankees bullpen was a large question mark entering this postseason – it’s been riddled with injuries all year (they just lost Scott Effross earlier Tuesday to Tommy John surgery) and inconsistent all year, with no true closer at the moment. But Loaisiga, Wandy Peralta, and Clay Holmes combined for 2.2 scoreless innings.
The Guardians have scored just four runs in three postseason games so far – all via the home run.

Game 2 is currently slated for Thursday evening, but weather in the Bronx isn’t supposed to be great, so it remains to be seen if it’ll be played as scheduled for moved to Friday.
Nestor Cortes will look to give the Yanks another gem and lead the series 2-0, while 2020 AL Cy Young Award winner Shane Bieber will aim to give Cleveland a much-needed win on the road.

YANKEES PEGAN PRIMERO
