Ok so a lot of you are gonna hate me for this opinion but CLINT👏🏽BARTON👏🏽IS👏🏽NOT👏🏽RESPONSIBLE 👏🏽FOR👏🏽NATASHA’S👏🏽DEATH👏🏽
It was literally in Natasha’s character to be the sacrificing one. She wanted to wipe out the red from her ledger and I think she did by sacrificing herself. It’s not like Clint pushed her off the cliff willingly or like even pushed her at all. He in fact tried to stop Natasha and was almost gonna sacrifice himself until Natasha beat him to it. It was Natasha’s choice to sacrifice herself. She wanted Clint to be alive and live with his family. His wife and kids. I admit that it was wrong of him to kill people during the 5years blip but he did it out of grief, but if it was someone else in his place (let’s assume Loki or Bucky) then you guys wouldn’t have hated them and said that they were too depressed and and couldn’t help. Well guess what? SO WAS HE!!! He literally lost his whole family right in front of him. You guys would have spared Loki or Bucky or any other character if they did a massacre and tell that you could feel their pain, so what’s the problem with Clint? Why yall hate him so much?
Clint Barton has been hated for too long in the fandom. If during the soul stone scene, let’s assume the roles were reversed, and Clint died instead of Natasha, then you guys would have hated Natasha, giving reasons that she should have jumped instead of Clint as Clint had a family and was a father.
Speaking of family, Natasha may have had the avengers and her real family. But Clint had too. If Clint would have died, how would you think his family react? How would they feel knowing that the last time they saw him was five years ago. You all imagine how Morgan’s future would be after Tony’s death. Now Just imagine his children and Clint in their places. Wouldn’t have that been traumatic too?
If you give me another reason that you hate Hawkeye because of Pietro Maximoff’s sacrifice, then I am again telling you, ITS NOT CLINT’S FAULT!!! Clint was trying to save the kid stuck under the building debris. It was just the wrong timing for Ultron to start shooting bullets. Clint was ready to sacrifice himself by shielding the kid with his body but Pietro saved him. It was Pietro’s choice to sacrifice himself NOT CLINT’S.
Clint stuck out for his teammates when needed. He was protective over Wanda since her brother saved his life. Wanda forgived him. If she hadn’t then she wouldn’t have been friendly to him. And she knew it wasn’t his fault. Clint literally named his son after her brother and did not want to let his sacrifice go to waste and still mean valuable and show it gratitude. He broke into the compound to get Wanda and supported and fought for Cap during Civil War, even though he was in retirement.
If you think he doesn’t feel guilty about this, THEN YOU ARE COMPLETELY WRONG. When Loki brainwashed him to kill people, he felt guilty even though it wasn’t his fault. Bucky was brainwashed and had to kill people, but you guys spared him and tell that you could feel his pain. Well so was Clint brainwashed too but you guys still think it’s his fault. Same situation with Loki, Loki was brainwashed but you guys still loved, then why can’t Clint be forgiven? After Pietro’s death. Clint felt guilty but he wanted to show gratitude by naming his son after Pietro. When Natasha died, Clint felt the most guilty of all avengers. After winning the war, he told Wanda that he wished he could tell Natasha that he won. Wanda tells him that Natasha knows because Wanda knows the feeling of guilt of losing someone you consider your family and the guilt feeling that they could have done more.
it’s not Clint’s fault that they died. He tried his best. He was ready to sacrifice himself all the times. He was ready to avenge anytime. It was the character’s own choices to sacrifice themselves.
SO I REPEAT AGAIN
CLINT IS UNDERRATED
CLINT IS UNDERAPPRECIATED
CLINT IS OVERHATED
CLINT NEEDS TO BE APPRECIATED
CLINT DESERVES RECOGNITION
CLINT DESERVES LOVE.
