Iowa / Tech game craaaazy anyone who expected it to be anything but close is crazy! I was expecting VT to pull out the dub, what with Iowa losing so much but VT returning their all Americans
Caitlin is unreal 🔥 saw a lot on her fg% but I don’t think it matters that much if you get the win and are also playing a very difficult team that’s focused on shutting you down
ISSA TALK
(pt.2)
Yesssss the game was long awaited to be seen, i mean if vt would have won against lsu in the final four that would have been the game, it was definitely up to what i expected, tho as you said iowa lost most of their bigs which is super stressful cus they are just trying to figure out who to put in, and vt lost mostly guards which did impact their game but new players can come and bring points. l fell like vt after the 3/4 kinda give up a bit like only georgia is alive by that fourth, she was still shootin and trying to bring a good game.
When they were having a two mark on her it was so good to see her get away with it and get. a call or a bucket it was too good, she was definitely hot (in both ways) cus i mean 44 POINTS IS CRAZY for a college hooper and i mean she’s putting up with at least 30 a game also congrats to georgia for her career high of 31 points!!! Vt are great team but i feel like they are also settling in with the freshmen and triunfo to work it out on court, liz, king and georgia are of course openers but just like iowa they have two spots to securitly fill so it was definitely going to be a good game.
and also to talk about the LSU-Colorado game, wow i mean colorado is honestly a tough program atm and with frida my god, she is so effective on court, 7 triples against the defending champions was on another level. LSU was defo a bit lost and i do feel as though they might have been with their egos too high but they’ll bounce back after all this is just one game. They won against Queens but i’m not sure their program is peeking through so it was pretty obvious LSU would win.
Now PBuckets wise i am so so so happy that she is backkkkkkk, it’s clear geno wants paige to perform to her fullest so he only gives her a couple of mins but her buckets are toughhhh, she is averaging minimum points but when you look at the assists and rebounds compared to the minutes she’s getting it’s pretty good. Aaliyah is eating up the conference! like are you kidding me?!?!? personally i consider that a guard can only have so many point if they are 1- really talented or 2- really really tall, cus like i love seeing all this talent peeking. KEEP THE PAZZI INFO COMING, i miss my moms.
It’s crazy to me how freshmen’s are FREALESS in the game so many good recruits came this year and i’m so excited for them to show off their game.
Anyways that’s the lil info dump of today, thank you.
Issa, out.

Was my logic behind this partly driven by the fact that I just think Jaylyn Sherrod is incredibly hot? Yes.
But it worked out anyways so 😌
Anyways, my first round predictions fell very flat but I am 3/3 so far today and my bracket is no longer completely in shambles!

Seattle's Reuben's Brews announces expanded availiability, now to Colorado and the United Kingdom.
Owned by Grace and Adam Robbings, Reuben’s Brews is a dream confirmed, grounded in reality. As they say, you’ve probably heard the story of how this brewery was named and came to be, but what you might’ve missed is this is also a story about the American dream. No, it’s true.
Tumblr media

Long before the trademark, lower-case r, graced the Ballard neighborhood, a man arrived in the United States with a dream of making it.
As a child growing up less than an hour from London, Adam Robbings spent his youth watching football (aka, soccer in the United States), playing badminton, chess, or the occasional round of golf, or dabbling on a Commodore 64. But with each hobby, Adam took to his affection, with an eagerness that would eventually motivate him to leave the United Kingdom for the United States. But he remained an airplane ride away, always to catch up with his siblings, his parents, and the occasional friends.
Today, much as he did during that early adult journey, Adam returns to the UK and to the nearby Berkshire, where he has formed a kinship with the local brewery, West Berkshire Brewery. An award-winning brewery in their own right, West Berkshire presented Adam a unique opportunity - to brew Reuben’s Brews beers for release in the United Kingdom.
Tumblr media

"Adam and his team share the same passion and respect for beer that we do,” said Managing Director for West Berkshire  Brewery, Tom Lucas. “We both focus on the drinker, creating full flavoured brews of all styles with balance and drinkability  at the heart.” Robbings added: “I’m very excited that my parents, family, and friends can now try our beer as fresh as possible  at their homes in the UK and taste the flavour of true West Coast-style beers that we brew in the great tradition of our region."
Starting with three core beers, Adam Robbings and his team have shared recipes for their “Crikey IPA”, a re-formulated version of their Hazy India Pale Ale “Hazealicious IPA”, and “Pacific Pils”. For Adam and the brewers from both continents, this is a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and hopefully reproduce beers between the brewers. For those reading this in the UK, start looking out for all three shortly via WBB and their distribution network.
Simultaneously, Reuben’s Brews is expanding in the United States after signing a distribution agreement with Colorado Craft Distributing. Starting with Crikey IPA, Hazealicious, and Pilsner, the brewery could be more excited to ship beer to Colorado.
“Colorado has a deep, rich brewing tradition and millions of knowledgeable and passionate craft beer lovers, similar to  Washington. We visit at least once a year for the Great American Beer Festival in Denver and have a love for the place and the  people,” said Robbings. “Because of our success at the GABF over the years, and our many friends around the state, we’re proud to now have a chance to share our breadth of balanced beers with the great people of Colorado.”
For Reuben’s Brews the addition of Colorado, to their list of states carrying their beers, marks the continued success of Adam and Grace’s shared dream of owning a small business.
For those looking for their beers, now also available in Colorado, visit http://www.ReubensBrews.com/beer-finder.
Reuben's Brews is located in Seattle, Washington, and has two locations at 5010 14th Ave NW Seattle, WA 98107 and 800 NW 46th St, Seattle, WA 98107. For more information about their other beers, ciders, and hard seltzers visit https://bit.ly/2sPxFoJ.
About Reuben’s Brews
Adam and Grace Robbings opened Reuben’s Brews in 2012, after an award-winning homebrewing career, naming the brewery after their first child, Reuben. At their family brewery they brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. They know that making that extra effort is worth it. From their everyday favorite beers to innovative new releases, they help you grow your love of beer. Reuben’s Brews. Beer Unbound.
The Reuben’s Taproom (5010 14th Ave NW in Ballard) is currently open daily 12pm-9pm. The space has been updated for the times and features an expanded outdoor seating area and a new To-Go Store. They strictly adhere to all current state and local health precautions to keep both their customers and their team safe. Please visit www.reubensbrews.com for full details, and follow @reubensbrews on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest updates.
Customers are also invited to order online for contactless pickup at www.reubensbrews.com/shop or stop by for walk-up purchase.
The Brewtap (800 NW 46th St. in Ballard) is closed until further notice.

Iowa WBB 2021-2022: Meet the Newbies
Iowa WBB 2021-2022: Meet the Newbies
Iowa’s returning veterans will play the vast majority of the team’s minutes this season, but that doesn’t mean that the team’s four new players can’t make an impact. Let’s take a look at the newbies and what role they might fill for Iowa in the upcoming season.  Addison O’Grady | 6’4’’ | Freshman | Aurora, Colorado #92 in ESPNW’s 2021 Class Ranking O’Grady was the breakout star of Iowa’s…

I'm so sorry for the non-pazzi and non-uconn intermission but just needed to say that the PAC popped off tonight!! The Utah vs Colorado game then that Oregon State vs UCLA game OMG (wanted ucla to win for the uconn agenda ofc but man i love a buzzer beater winner in front of your home crowd so imma let that one slide for Oregon St). I just love wcbb AND I love that Aubs and Paige are coming back AND most of all I love seeing Azzi in that 5 jersey 😌😁
I hope you had a great time at the game bestie 💗
Ugh I missed both of those but I saw a clip of the buzzer beater and that was kinda spectacular omg. I'mma miss the Pac-12 so much like I don't even fuck with Big 10 teams and their lack of defense that much to begin with, and ugh fuck football for ruining the best wbb conference fr. 🙄
Thank you my love, it still feels a bit like a fever dream and my voice hasn't fully recovered from screaming yet. 💗

March Madness hit women’s basketball early with 7 huge upsets
Tumblr media
When SEVEN top-25 teams fall to unranked foes in 12 hours, you know it’s a good slate of basketball.
A little bit of pre-March madness took hold just about everywhere this past Sunday, when seven women’s basketball teams ranked in the AP Top 25 dropped games to unranked opponents. The Pac-12 was hit the hardest with three of its six top-25 teams taking an L — but the SEC, ACC and Big East also saw improbable losses to some of their most dominant teams, meaning that for the zillionth time this year, the poll will likely be in mild chaos. Either way, these match-ups (and how teams pick up the pieces) are certainly something to keep in mind as bracket-crafting season draws closer.
7) No. 12 DePaul at Villanova, 58-76
Two days after they took down Marquette, the No. 2 team in the Big East, the Villanova Wildcats handed DePaul their second conference loss of the season in a game where the Blue Demons never really seemed to have a shot. Though the Wildcats shot 50 percent from the floor and held a normally sharp-shooting DePaul team to 8 percent from three, the real poetry of the game was on the sideline: the unlikely victory came in Villanova head coach Harry Perretta’s last regular-season home game after 42 seasons with the squad. To up the emotional ante, Villanova junior Cameron Onken earned the second triple-double in program history with 12 points, 10 assists and 18 rebounds in what will be one of her final games with the team (she was accepted to dental school) — hopefully, tissues were on hand.
Thank you for 42 years, @VUCoachPerretta!✌️ pic.twitter.com/LZ7MhSJ1mQ
— Villanova WBB (@novawbb) February 24, 2020
6) No. 11 Arizona at Colorado, 38-50
Without leading scorer Aari McDonald, who is currently day-to-day with a leg injury, Arizona looked lost — particularly in the last six minutes of the game, when Colorado went on a 15-0 run to reclaim the lead and ultimately the upset. The Wildcats’ first loss of the season to an unranked team came via the 16-11 Buffaloes, who more than anything else just dramatically out-rebounded Arizona, 48-27.
Left it all on the floor and it showed. @CUBuffsWBB pulled off a hard fought senior day victory, 50-38, upsetting No. 11 Arizona in Boulder. pic.twitter.com/59fDKRJfK6
— Pac-12 Network (@Pac12Network) February 23, 2020
5) No. 21 Arizona State at Utah, 71-75
Arizona State had a reasonable lead going into the half, but then Utah pulled out a vintage Golden State Warriors-esque third quarter with six threes (from five different Utes!) and essentially sealed the game.
LIGHT THE U ‼️ Utah, 75. #21 Arizona State, 71. Relive today's big senior day W here. ️ #GoUtes // #Elevate pic.twitter.com/R8buJu8F9N
— Utah Women's Basketball (@UTAHWBB) February 23, 2020
4) No. 22 Arkansas at Florida, 80-83
The Gators led for the entire game, despite Arkansas cutting the lead to one point with one minute left. Florida kept fighting and walked away with an anything-but-fluky win, their second victory of the season versus a ranked opponent.
You'll want to see these... pic.twitter.com/vjuCxzUmwa
— Gators Women’s Basketball (@GatorsWBK) February 24, 2020
3) No. 8 UCLA at Washington, 68-74
The Huskies didn’t let their losing record keep them from successfully challenging the skidding Bruins for the entire game — 41 points from the bench, led by Rita Pleskevich going 6-for-6 with 15 points, cemented the Washington W.
youtube
2) No. 17 Florida State at Georgia Tech, 62-65
In her first year as the head coach, Nell Fortner has led the Yellow Jackets to more top-25 victories than they had earned in their previous five seasons combined thanks to this W over Florida State. The game was tight all the way through, but FSU’s struggles from the free throw line (they shot 58.3 percent) helped ultimately seal it for Georgia Tech.
Last Sunday: upset No. 4 NC State Today: upset No. 17 FSU @GTWBB is on pic.twitter.com/xvzjxZNgXQ
— ACC Network (@accnetwork) February 23, 2020
1) Alabama at No. 9 Mississippi State, 64-66
The wildest of the day’s upsets came down to a heartbreaking and extraordinary (depending on who you were talking to) buzzer beater on the Bulldogs’ home turf. Not content to ride a 64-64 game into overtime, the Crimson Tide tipped the ball in with 0.8 seconds left on the game clock — capping off a game in which they shot 64 percent (!) from the three point line.

Games to watch this week
No. 3 Oregon at No. 4 Stanford (February 24, 9 p.m. ET, ESPN2)
Oregon has been steamrolling people the way we expected they would — can Stanford, the reigning conference champs, force the issue in this Pac-12 tournament preview?
No. 22 Arkansas at No. 9 Mississippi State (February 27, 9 p.m. ET, SECN)
Both teams need to bounce back with a big win before the SEC Tournament, so this one could get pretty scrappy.
No. 16 Texas A&M at No. 1 South Carolina (March 1, 12 p.m. ET, ESPN2)
It should be a garbage-time game for Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks since they’ve already secured the SEC regular-season title, but Dawn Staley doesn’t really do garbage-time games — especially when the national spotlight is on as it will be for this one. Look out for some of the craftiest guards in the league — Chennedy Carter and Ty Harris — going head to head.

What I Learned from U.S. Socioeconomic Data Maps
I evaluated data maps of the U.S. by county and state. Crime maps. Wealth maps. RPP maps. Cost of living maps. Ecopolitical maps. Voting records by county maps. Female reproductive rights and cannibus decriminalization maps. Income equality maps. Here is what I found:
"Higher incidents of rape" =~ "greater spending power"
"Environmental destruction" =~ "greater spending power"
"Substandard public health" =~ "greater spending power"
"Prevalence of organized religion" =~ "greater spending power"
"Republican voting" =~ "greater spending power"
"Limited access to abortion" =~ "greater spending power"
"Chauvanism" =~ "greater spending power"
"Anachronistic troglodytism" =~ "greater spending power"
"Intellectual humanitarians" =~ "high cost of living"
"Intellectual humanitarians" =~ "fewer jobs, more people"
Intellectual humanitarians live in coastal states and cities. But not all coastal states and cities are humanitarians.
Idaho (a.k.a. humanity’s seething underbelly) and New Hampshire (America’s fat hairy frat bro wearing flipflops and cargo shorts: among highest incomes with the most McDonalds and Walmarts of any state) are tied for the worst state.
But they’re given a run for their money by: Texas (America’s supervillain: evil in almost every way and proud of it), Pennsylvania (America’s mousey farmwife who secretly supports WBB: never met a corporate exploitation of the poor it didn’t like), Michigan (America’s deranged hobo: fracking, lead-lined pipes, broken infrastructure, absurd levels of crime), Ohio (America’s Best Buy supervisor: quietly and modestly among the most corporate deregulatory, tastelessly commercial states), Louisiana (America’s poolshark cousin: among highest rape, alcoholism, homicide, underage pregnancies, poverty and reports of incest), Mississippi (Poolshark cousin’s tweaky little brother with a speech impediment: does what Louisiana does but with less charisma), Colorado (America’s chainsmoking daytime television watcher: home of strip malls and mediocrity) and Virginia (America’s self-righteous PTA-active office administrator with a power cut: home of corporate authoritarian centrism).
The best states for low-income liberal women? Washington, Oregon, Massachusetts, Maine, Minnesota.
Among the best and the worst simultaneously? California, Alaska, Montana, Wyoming. The latter two being fine if you’re white and preferably male. Alaska being fine if you’re male and own a gun. California being best if you’re very rich and like bloodthirsty competition or have absolutely literally nothing and no hope of ever getting more - or if you have enough connections to shield you from the state’s political and economic trials by fire.
