It’s one of my favorite spots, and i can’t wait to keep working on it once it cools down here. Also, i told adrian i want to paint the window trim white on the exterior, like we did on the interior. So it looks more like a cottage, the black seems to stark to me. Anyways, We are off on our birthday trip for our little boy! Reposted • @linenandtwigs Hello and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My husband had to work on Saturday so I took advantage of hanging out with my grandlittles for the day and was treated to lunch by my son and DIL. Such a treat! That evening, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a dinner for two at our kitchen table. We ordered in which was also a treat! It’s hard to believe that it’s been 33 years together…and we’re still alive to talk about it. 😜 There’s been times (mostly during home reno/ diy projects) that we’ve had each other in a choke hold and I wasn’t sure we’d make it out alive but here we are…😂 We met when I was 19 and he was 26. He worked with my mom and already had her stamp of approval before we even met. Although I think he’s handsome, his sense of humor and charming personality will always be my favorite things about him. Three sons and many (many) years of growing up together, I’m glad he’s the one by my side…most days…I’m kidding…ALL days! He’s definitely a keeper. He has today off of work so I’m looking forward to spending the day with him even if it’s just puttering around the house. Reposted • @linenandtwigs Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! What’s on today’s agenda? Beat the heat! Wow it’s going to be another hot one! I can honestly say that I think summer is here to stay. On another note, my husband and I were some mulching fools last night. That’s right, when the weather is this steamy, you do your yard work in the evening. We bought a ton of mulch over the weekend since it was on sale and of course still didn’t have enough…🤨 If I wasn’t a Christian woman I would have been cursing🥴…or fussing because I knew we needed more while it was on sale…😜…but I wouldn’t do that…😬. Honestly I’m grateful for what we got done but the OCD in me is going nuts because it’s not done. I’m working on not sweating the small stuff. I have to admit, I have a long way to go.🤪 I feel like when there’s a lot going on, being able to check something off your list feels comforting but as it stands, we have a lot of “undones” going on and I’m trying to roll with it.
