Punk spike jackets serve exactly the same purpose as coyote vests on a chihuahua. Sensitive little punk needs spikes between him and potential predators (strangers talking to him, he has social anxiety)
This is exactly what you look like in your battle jackets:
Got Fry a coyote vest because there have been a handful of times dogs we don’t know have ran toward her while off leash. So now she’s the most punk dog in town
my furryverse has regular feral animals living alongside Furries, the Anthro Animals, which are usually just slightly bigger than them. All this time I'd just been thinking about the lesser animals as like. Pet dogs and sparrows right outside your window and squirrels in the forest. And not like. Anthro bunny families have to be careful in open areas lest a raptor that cannot be communicated with plucks one of your children
What kind of predators do the Thoma have on this planet that requires a neck collar full of spikes? It's very reminiscent of those collars guard dogs have to protect sheep from wolves
those are specifically against stalker worms
theyre fast and agile pack hunters in a similar ecological niche to our worlds wolves. thoma can outrun pretty much any other surface predator.. but unfortunately stalkers are one of the few worm species capable of keeping up with them
people put spiked collars on their thomas neck and legs since those are the spots stalkers go for to bring them down
(distance model bug dogs from the concept art post)
Think I'm gonna start asking anyone who says kids need to be protected from violence in media how hard, exactly, they've been advocating for wildlife bridges and roadkill clean up. If your precious little dumpling's naive innocence is so important to you, maybe we ought to pursue some ideological consistency and not have many flat and tattered halfs of things scattered across our interstates, for any child to see?
