I’m not a beauty blog by any means, but if you’re looking for a cruelty free natural no nonsense skincare brand, I’m really happy with my Typology products - I found it when looking for an alternative for The Ordinary (thanks, brexit) and I might like it even better

Review taken from Instagram:
I deal with dry skin on my face, and have had eczema patches in the past. So finding gentle enough cleansers can be a challenge. I was pleasantly surprised by this one! It’s a gentle cleanser that foams up just enough to properly remove makeup residue and SPF from the day. It didn’t leave my skin feeling tight after application (although I did not use it for the full two minutes that are suggested for use because I knew that would definitely dry out my skin. A minute was enough for me to properly break down makeup and SPF), which means it wasn’t drying for me which is fantastic news. I love that this is an alcohol free and fragrance free option. I also was happy that this cleanser didn’t bother my eyes when I used it (although it does say to avoid opening eyes with cleanser on so you don’t get the green tea leaves in your eye, so be very careful if you do use it on your eyes! This is why I took one star off from the review). At first I thought the specks in the formulation were seeds, but they’re actually green tea leaves meant to help exfoliate gently. Overall I enjoyed how well this worked at getting SPF and makeup off at the end of the day and I would definitely suggest this as an option to my friends.

12 Best Cruelty Free Skincare for Every Budget
Tumblr media
Are you ready to transform your skincare routine? If yes, Join us on a quest for radiant skin with a conscience as we explore the best cruelty free skincare products and practices right here. Discover the best cruelty-free skincare for a more compassionate and beautiful you.
Cruelty-free skincare has become more than just a buzzword; it’s a reflection of our evolving values and ethical concerns.
In a world where conscientious consumerism is on the rise, the demand for skin care products that uphold cruelty-free principles has surged dramatically. But what exactly does “cruelty-free” mean in the context of skincare, and why has it gained such prominence in recent years?
As you read on you will get to know about cruelty-free skincare, delving into its meaning and significance. We’ll uncover the ethical, environmental, and personal health reasons that have propelled the popularity of cruelty-free products.
Additionally, we’ll provide you with practical guidance on how to identify these products, offer recommendations for the best cruelty-free skincare brands and products, and even share insights into DIY skincare for those who enjoy a more hands-on approach.
Whether you’re a long-time advocate for cruelty-free choices or a newcomer to the concept, this article aims to equip you with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about your skincare routine.
Let’s go on a journey to the world of the best cruelty-free skincare, where compassion meets beauty.
What Does “Cruelty-Free” Mean in Skincare?
“Cruelty-free” in the skincare industry signifies that a product and its ingredients have not been tested on animals at any stage of development.
This includes testing for safety, efficacy, or any other purpose. Essentially, it means that no harm. While cruelty-free skincare products do not involve animal testing, “vegan” skincare goes a step further.
Vegan skincare products not only avoid animal testing but also exclude any animal-derived ingredients such as beeswax, lanolin, or collagen. So, while a product may be cruelty-free, it might not necessarily be vegan.
To verify that a skincare product is genuinely cruelty-free, consumers often rely on certifications from recognized organizations like Leaping Bunny or PETA’s Beauty without Bunnies program.
These certifications serve as independent validation that a brand adheres to cruelty-free principles.

Honest Review: The Inkey List Omega Water Cream Moisturiser
At the start of the season I was in search of a deep moisturising cream that would save my skin from the winter chill. I wondered into the aisles of Sephora to find a suitable and affordable cream.
