shun living near dan and attending the same high school as dan is clearly also not canon within the show lol but it sounds like it could've been a thing.

He is always calm, but he has a strange habit of getting unusually excited and obsessed with things he likes. i find the last paragraph pretty interesting because it sounds like ren initially would've been instrumental in jake working against the brawlers.

At first, Dan and his friends think that Ren is a good guy and Fabia is a bad guy. Did Ren tell them that too? But it turns out that she's actually an ally (Ren and Fabia are in the same situation as the Terminator).

Her partner Bakugan, Lumina Aranaut, hates aliens so much that even his ally, Fabia, has a hard time getting along with him. It's a relationship that will have to be overcome someday."

fabia's section is the one that boggles me the most lmao it sounds less like a character description and more like idk notes for creating a character that you have a vague idea about.

Sunday Funday (Day 2 Log)...

After a quick walk on the beach, Dan and Amy were tasked with finding a spot around the party pool at our sister property.

We found a perfect sundeck location right next to the swim-up bar, water aerobics, resort activities, bingo, pizza oven, sushi bar, and more than enough sun for a bunch of gringos south of the border.

We entered into almost every event (see previous competition videos), danced to every song, and sampled every drink on the menu behind the bar.

The abundant sun was only outshined by the stories we shared old, new and all points in between. We made the best of our nearly perfect weather in paradise and the vacation with loved ones!

After all the hoopla around the pool, we all got ready for dinner. While the kids returned to the buffet, Dan and Amy took advantage of the fancy-pants restaurant, which overlooked the evening sea views.

After dinner, the showroom had a comedy show. With the endless drinks, food, and entertainment, you may think we were on a cruise...sans sea sickness.

Thought of the day: In the midst of the day drinking at the pool, all 6 of the kids packed it in as Dan and Amy found piece as they lounged by the quieter pool...something to be said for experience

Wikipedia redirects you from "Buns of Steel" to its instructor, Greg Smithey, and gives a poor quality entry dated 2008. To be sure, maybe there is not much there on the history of Buns of Steel. It debuted on the in 1987 and sold millions, and I guess had women working on shaping their butts. The next panel has the bus turned DVD getting conflated with a Jane Fonda stand-in, Buns of Steel's competition -- the aerobics home work-outs merge. I guess Wikipedia could list the "cultural impact" on the tapes -- but that just consists of allusions such as this "Buns of Cast Iron" reference.

12 hari lalu terkonfirmasi covid 19, ga terlalu sedih sedih banget karena rasanya enak banget bisa istirahat dari beberapa hari yang emang capek dan pulang waktu udah gelap tiap hari. Selasa memang tenggorokanku udah kerasa sakit, Rabu masih sakit tenggorokannya tapi aku tetap excited buat aerobic, tapi tumben banget baru setengah jam aku udah nengok nengok jam dinding, rasanya pengen segera selesai. Setelah aerobic aku bener bener males mau makan, aku cuma makan buah dan aku tepar banget kayak pegang hp aja ga kuat. Paginya mulai deh pilek tipis tipis, masih excited lagi ikut pelatihan bahasa isyarat di kantor. Hari itu aku jg ada agenda lihat motor bekas (rencana mau beli motor), tapi tubuh ga bisa bohong, pokoknya aku harus antigen. Eeeh bener dong aku positive covid19. Oke baiklah, aku pulang dan isoman 10 harii. Di situ banyak terlihat mana orang yang emang bener bener baik, yg bantuin aku dan dateng di saat aku lagi sakit. Puji Tuhan kemarin Senin sudah negatif dan aku balik lagi beraktivitas. Rasanya emang lebih fresh sih, kayak capeknya ilang, cuma kepala agak sakit mungkin karena emang adaptasi dari yang rebahan aja jadi kerja yg lumayan hectic.

Jadi intinya, jaga kesehatan.

MARI MENGOMPOS

Satu impian terpendam saya sejak tahun 2020 yang lalu adalah mengompos. Impian tersebut muncul saat menenggelamkan diri di akun instagramnya ibu Dini (@dkwardhani). Kampanye beliau yang menceritakan bahwa mengompos itu mudah berhasil membuat saya sangat menggebu untuk ingin ikut serta. Tapi apadaya. Niat saya waktu itu baru sebatas niat anak bawang. Pergi ke marketplace dan melihat harga komposter tumblr langsung mundur teratur. Kemudian tahun 2022 ini saya dapet rezeki ikut kelas @belajarzerowaste yang diasuh oleh ibu Dini dan team di batch 12.

Kelas #belajarzerowaste ini merapihkan keinginan saya menjadi langkah teratur yang jelas tahapannya. Dimulai dari bulan lalu yang isinya muhasabah, alias merenungi kemana perginya sampah-apasaja yang ada di sampah rumah tangga kita-seberapa kuat mencegah-dan bagaimana memilah anorganik di rumah. Sampai saatnya sekarang diminta untuk mengolah organik. Asalnya saya sangat takut gagal. Tapi ibu Dini di akun instagram dan beberapa bukunya berkata bahwa tiada yang gagal dalam mengompos. Yasudah akhirnya memberanikan diri mencoba. Berbekal semangat dari teman-teman yang sudah melakukannya terlebih dahulu, materi dari kelas, dan beberapa sumber lain, juga kejengahan melihat tumpukan kresek berisi sisa organik rumah tangga kami yang harus dibawa ke TPA setiap pekannya.

Komposter yang saya pilih adalah #kompostertoples hahaha menamai komposter sukasuka sendiri. Di rumah kebetulan adanya toples bening besar bertutup. Jadi saya putuskan untuk membuat komposter dari sini. Ember terlalu sayang dilubangi, pot tidak ada yang cukup besar. Komposter yang saya buat adalah komposter aerob, dimana dia membutuhkan oksigen untuk fermentasi alias membuat sisa organik jadi kompos matang. Memilih metode aerob dikarenakan ada banyak sekali daun kering di depan rumah kontrakan kami. Lalu memilih toples karena tidak ada banyak lahan tanah yang bisa dijadikan komposter jugangan atau biopori dan sebagainya, lagipula bukan pekarangan sendiri, masih milik ibu kos.

Berikut merupakan gambar alat dan bahan untuk membuat #kompostertoples yang terdiri atas toples bertutup yang sudah dilubangi di bagian bawah dan samping (sebagai jalan masuk oksigen), daun kering, sekam bakar campur tanah dan pupuk kandang, air cucian beras yang sudah didiamkan 2 malam, dan sisa organik rumah tangga saya isinya kulit pisang dan daun bawang yang telah dipotong kecil-kecil untuk membantu mempercepat proses penguraian.

Setelah semua alat dan bahan siap, langkah selanjutnya adalah membuat starter #kompostertoples dengan tahapan sebagai berikut.

1. Masukkan daun kering di bagian paling bawah.

2. Masukkan sekam bakar di atas daun kering.

3. Masukkan sisa organik rumah tangga di atas sekam bakar.

4. Cipratkan air cucian beras di atas sisa organik.

5. Tutup sisa organik dengan sekam bakar lagi dan boleh diciprat air cucian beras lagi.

6. Tutup sekam bakar dengan daun kering.

Tunggu sekitar 2-4 hari sampai starter jadi, saya membuatnya di Jumat siang, sampai tugas ini diunggah belum saya buka lagi toplesnya. Saya amati dari luar toples, sudah mulai muncul embun di dinding dalam toples dan lapisan coklat dan hijau sudah mulai turun walau belum hancur seutuhnya. Oiya lapisan coklat adalah daun kering dan sekam bakar ya, komponen yang kaya akan karbon. Lalu lapisan hijau adalah komponen sisa organik rumah tangga yang kaya akan nitrogen. Karbon dan nitrogen ini adalah 2 komponen selain oksigen dan bioaktivator (air cucian beras atau air fermentasi lain) yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk proses membuat komposter aerob.

Saya merencanakan #kompostertoples ini untuk mengolah sisa organik buah, sayuran, dan kulit bumbu dapur. Kemudian untuk sisa konsumsi hewani dan sedikit sisa makanan yang masih terbuang saya kubur di tanah sekitaran pohon jambu depan rumah. Sebelum dikubur saya menumbuk terlebih dahulu sisa organik hewani dan makanan berminyak agar lebih mudah terurai di dalam tanah.

Harapannya nanti saya punya satu komposter lagi yang aman untuk mengolah sisa hewani dan sisa makanan berminyak. Saya terpikir untuk membeli set komposter anaerob di marketplace untuk sisa hewani dan makanan berminyak untuk mengolah sisa organik sebelum dikubur ke tanah sekitaran pohon jambu depan rumah.

Sudah satu pekan ini, belum ada sisa organik yang masuk ke kantong plastik seperti biasanya. Rasanya lega sekali. Mengurangi beban dosa dalam jiwa yang harus dioper ke TPS hahaha. Semoga bukan hanya semangat sesaat dan bisa dipelihara terus menerus. Andaikan seluruh rumah tangga di Indonesia mau mengompos, volume sampah di TPA mungkin akan berkurang sekitaran 65%. Ya sebanyak itulah sisa konsumsi organik kita semua, yang jika hanya disimpan dalam sekantung hingga berkantung-kantung plastik akan membuat kantung plastik penuh dengan bau dan gas metana yang suatu saat bisa memicu terjadinya ledakan dan kebakaran. Mungkin kita punya privilige untuk tidak tinggal dan beraktivitas di sekitar timbunan sampah tersebut. Tapi bagaimana ya rasanya bagi yang harus berkutat di sekitar sana? :"( Yuk cobain mengompos dan bergabung ke gerakan sunyi ibu-ibu penyelamat dunia dari dapur ini ehehehe

Jenis komposter itu sendiri ada bermacam-macam. Jangan bingung ya akan saya jabarkan sedikit, harapannya dapat memberikan semangat bahwa bagaimanapun kondisi lahan dan sumber daya yang ada di sekitar kita itu bisa loh dimanfaatkan untuk mengolah sisa organik rumah tangga dengan mengompos.

1. Kompester ember / tumbler (dengan keran/ tanpa keran)

2. Komposter pot / gerabah

3. Keranjang takakura (yang paling simpel ditaroh di dalam rumah !!!)

4. Juglangan (lubang di tanah untuk masukin sampah ituloh, kalau pekarangannya luassss banget, jugangan sih di rumah Jogja saya nyebutnya)

5. Komposter karung

6. Lubang resapan biopori

7. Komposter cacing

8. Banana circle (pohon pisang melingkar di tengahnya ada jugangan)

9. Komposter bag / drum / semen / tabung / kardus

10. dan lain sebagainya sesuai inovasi masing-masing rumah tangga.
