"You seem preoccupied, Markus."

Markus looked up from where he was, half submerged in the red pool and elbows resting on the edge, as Chloe approached him.

"How so?"

Chloe grinned then leant down and she pressed her finger between his eyebrows, smoothing out the furrow there. "You always look a bit grouchy when you're thinking. Elijah can't have programmed that into you."

Instead of smiling like she expected, the furrow returned in full force and his striking green eyes turned troubled. "Because that's all we are right? Just things that Kamski programmed. And for what purpose? Who knows."

Chloe sat down next to him, slipping her feet into the pool. She swung them back and forth lazily. "We were made to serve the humans, you know this. Don't worry, Elijah will find your purpose soon, Markus."

Markus hummed in thought and the two of them sat in silence, only the sound of water splashing around them.

I’m assuming that since this is officially made that the things she says are canon unless something in the actual game contradicts it

I have some thoughts that I’ll put under read more!

Idk I just imagined it or if people were really debating about whether or not androids breathe so it’s kinda nice that she says that they do in the video. I think it makes sense for them to breathe to cool down

She also says that their skin is made of a self healing polymer which I think is interesting and also something I think I’ve seen people talk about

I think it sounds weird that their teeth, nails and hair is made of ceramic composites, teeth and nails I get but the hair? I’d think that it’s made of the same stuff that their skin is made of since it can change colour and dissappear whit their skin while something ceramic sounds like it couldn’t disappear as easily?

Chloe also says that all android speak 63 languages which is a pretty big downgrade from the 300 languages Kara says she can speak in the short. But 63 seems way more reasonable/realistic

She also says that androids have a battery life of about seven days compared to the 173 years in the Kara short, but again that seems reasonable in the dbh game world

My personal headcanon is that the first Chloe and maybe a couple of other androids do have a very long battery life but the mass produced ones only have about a week and are in general less durable than they could be so that people need to buy upgrades/spare parts/new androids quicker

Also she says that thirium can transport energy and information to androids biocompnents and again the first part makes sense but idk how/what information it would transport?

Word gets around. Tina and Gavin won't leave Hank alone. Connor follows Hank everywhere — almost like a partner — flashing him a goofy, toothy little grin whenever Hank catches his eye. Sometimes it seems like he's moving extra slowly and sinuously through the water, letting the light catch his scales and ripple off his fins as he twists and weaves gracefully. If Hank didn't know any better, he'd say the kid was showing off.

On their breaks, Connor barely seems interested in the fish that Hank brings anymore, preferring to haul himself onto the deck and bat those huge doe eyes at Hank until he starts talking to Connor, or plays a game of coin toss with him, or shows him more pictures of Sumo. Hank knows the situation's still not ideal — Connor's still trapped in a fucking tank, after all — but he can't help but feel better than he has in a long time. Connor makes him feel better.
