Hi! This is a little strange but I stumbled upon an old post of yours about tribal tattoos. My mom told me how my great grandmother had a tattoo on her chin and I believe around her mouth. I wanted to learn more about the practice and their meanings but wasn’t able to find much outside of your post. Would you be able to point me in the direction of reading material related to this topic?

Oh no worries it’s not strange at all! I’ve gotten a few messages about this I haven’t answered yet but I am currently working on a longer post about it - I recently found some books at a local library that had more information which I’m compiling. For right now I have another post with some links on it that I answered awhile back - I don’t know when I’ll be finished with the post but when it’s done I will @ you and the other people in my ask box.
