I honestly don’t know anything about Dietrich Mateschitz besides him being the Red Bull owner, but I’ve always liked this set of pictures where Max is going for a formal handshake and Dietrich just looks like he’s going ‘Oh come here, boy!’.
Rest in piece.

Helmut Marko in AMuS (x)
This is very reassuring. Both RBR's independence and the commitment of new management.

Not to mock the dead, but this is an appropriate name for a guy who owns drinks that make you shit yourself.

I definitely don’t share the same political views as Dietrich Mateschitz, but between F1, extreme sports, sports plane racing etc. etc. he got his seed from an energy drink, that many have copied since. He sponsored so many crazy things and so many extreme and unorthodox sports.
What he's done with a “energy drink” company is honestly hard to believe. Gotta respect what that company has achieved with him at the helm.
RIP

Ya know what.
Last race I was really confused about the points and was like... It really didn't matter if Max got WDC that race or today.
But now I just realised
That Max getting WDC last race meant that Dietrich Mateschitz got to experience it/know about it.
I'm not a fan of death
I'm glad he got to live long enough for that to happen

Mort de Dietrich Mateschitz
Tumblr media

Dietrich Mateschitz was a racist and all the bad things. You can basically sum up this man’s life as being a dickhead overall. He was a billionaire - very few billionaires are good people
But you cannot deny what he has done for sport in general. Do yourself a favour and see how many Redbull athletes exist in this world. We have Daniel Ricciardo because of Dietrich, we have Sebastian Vettel because of him.
It’s a double edge sword this whole situation. So how about we say RIP, and more on hey? This isn’t the fight to fight.
I’d rather body slam Kanye West right now

Some lovely words from Dietrich Mateschitz about Max back in 2017 ❤️️
"Max is unique and a strong personality. He is courageous, charismatic and despite his young age very disciplined, purposeful and determined. His overtaking is incredible and yet he's always in control. That is pure class.”
