There seems to be a trend on DogTok to demonize and regard rescue dogs as trash not worth saving or rehabilitating and just flat out demonizing no kill shelters and rescues with little nuance. I'm sorry that abused dogs who are traumatized and stressed aren't the 2k purebred puppy that you saw on Craigslist but the majority of shelter dogs deserve a chance at a good life even if you personally would never give them the time of day.

He would love to steal get you a pet because that way, you won’t whine too much about wanting to see more of your friends and family. Dog is a good option because you can’t leave this animal without care for too long, it will provide you with distraction when he’s away, and you won’t get too lonely or bored (not to talk of getting out of the house and risk seeing “Have you seen this dog?” posters all around the town)

No, you’re too preoccupied to venture out, especially when it’s a nice, plump puppy he got you! It’s almost like you’re practicing to be a mom...

You look so sweet when playing with the dog, sending König pics and videos of you with the pup, teaching it to do tricks and stuff. It licks your face, and you squeeze your eyes shut and giggle from joy, and König doesn’t even get jealous. At least, not too much... Surprisingly, he’s very pleased with his decision to get a pet for you. Yes, he has the ability to make you very happy... Clearly, you couldn’t get a better man: he takes care of all of your needs!

And everything’s nice and peaceful until you go out with him. König gets annoyed easily, if someone pays attention to you at the store for example, it’s always a hassle because he has to constantly scare away potential harassers and perverts, filthy men checking out your breasts and ass, eyes lingering a bit too long on your pretty face. Smashes his hand against a wall or goes to stand menacingly not three inches away from these poor guys who had the audacity to take a short glance at you.

It's not a good idea to doll up and go to a restaurant with him, there would be a WW3 before you got to the main course… And heaven forbid if he catches you smiling at a man! (meaning, being polite to the cashier/waiter) König won’t kill anyone while you're watching, he would never upset you with mindless violence, but tires will be slashed and throats might get cut before the evening is done…

And he would never, ever hurt you. It’s just that König always jokes about kidnapping you, ever since you started dating him. And this time, when he's about to leave for work, you find that your key has gone missing… You already moved in with him, a bit too quickly, your friends warned, so now you’re stuck in a big gloomy house with a dog and a big pile of dirty laundry.

Yes, it’s too bad that you can’t leave the place now when he’s away and there's no extra key, but don’t worry, he got you plenty of groceries! And there's a silly puppy keeping you company, isn’t it nice? He has a big home theater and terabytes of pirated movies and shows to choose from, what more could you ask for? He’ll call you every chance he gets ❤️ Don’t forget to send pictures ❤️

• They’re T4T. This much is obvious. And I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, I think Luis is very old-fashioned and as such still uses terms like Transvestite/Transsexual/Fag for himself. I think Leon is just happy calling himself gay and trans chendhendhsn

• I don’t think Leon’s actually all into women- controversial I know BCNSHDNSUSJ but I think him trying (and failing) to flirt with women was him trying to overcompensate for his queerness, and I think it solidified for him that Hey liking men is Ok actually when he met Luis

• Luis however is very unabashedly queer. He will flirt with anyone and everyone and he’s encouraged Leon to open up more when it comes to his identity me thinks

• Leon gets jealous easily. Not in an alpha-male-nobody-can-touch-my-man way, but I think he’s deep down a little bit insecure that a guy like LUIS would ever be into HIM. He just likes coming home and being reassured with lots of kisses that Luis does love him and only him acktually (But I’m saying that I don’t think either of them would be like. OPPOSED to polyamory. They just don’t have the time BXBSHNESH)

• Luis is obviously the more physically affectionate one and Leon is VERY touch starved so he laps it up like crazy

• Luis is a morning person. Leon is NOT. So often Luis will get up WAY before Leon and go out shopping for breakfast stuffs before him

• Me And @hamartia-grander had a very hilarious conversation about this but I think Leon is immune to all flirting EXCEPT for Luis’. Luis could say literally THE DUMBEST shit and Leon will fall head over heels for him

• And Vice Versa. Luis is SUCH a sucker for all of Leon’s dumb jokes he strokes his ego like crazy

• Luis is like one of those dogs that are massive but don’t realise it and think they can sit on their owners just fine. Luis will curl up on Leon’s lap or be the little spoon and it’s an insanely awkward tangle of limbs but Leon couldn’t care in the slightest

• Also, Luis is like,,, actually SHOCKINGLY taller than Leon???? Like if you put their game models side by side and make Luis stand up straight he’s actually quite a fair bit taller than Leon????? But he’s always resting his weight on one hip or leaning on something so it’s hard to tell in-game

• Leon doesn’t like to go out in public so when he has to, he’s always got a grip on Luis’ arm xhdndhenhdnejx

• Luis LOVES to buy Leon new jackets. Except he has no money so he’s actually just using Leon’s money BCNDHDNDHNDDJ

• Luis can sing!!! And play guitar!!!!! His Grandfather taught him :)

• Leon REALLY likes to learn and engage in stuff from Luis’ culture. Luis gets homesick very easily so he’s always teaching him dances and cooking him food n stuff like that to make them both feel better

• That being said Leon will TRY to speak Spanish and he just. Sounds awful. And I think Luis gets very delighted by very random silly American things xhsnxhsnxj he just like me fr (Eg: omg Leon!!!!!!! An Ikea!!!!!!!!!!! Ive Never been to an Ikea before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

• Leon has made it a habit of reading Luis Don Quixote before bed. Even though Luis could probably read the book backwards with his eyes closed, he just likes hearing Leon talk :)) also Leon is a S L O W Reader so Like. It works out for the both of them BCNDHXNDJD

• I’ve mentioned this numerous times but I fully think if Luis were to survive, he’d be disabled somehow. Some days he’s fine and some days he can’t even walk. But Leon is always always always there to help him no matter what

• Going off of that, I recon Luis loves to dance, but can’t really do it well after his injury. So Leon just kinda half-carry’s him and it usually ends up with the both of them on the floor laughing

• I don’t think Luis would still be religious after,,, e v e r y t h i n g but I think he probably still prays out of habit, and Leon likes to sit and watch him with a lil smile on his face

• Luis still loves to use knight/prince-themed nicknames for Leon :))

• Leon loves to kiss the rings on Luis’ fingers as a form of intimacy

• Again stolen from @snailvee , but I WHOLLY agree with their headcannon that Luis takes a LOT of pride in his appearance (he feels like it’s the one thing he can control etc etc) so letting Leon see him all scruffy in the mornings is a little way of saying “I love you”

• Also again stolen from Snail, they share clothes. Except Luis is really tall and lanky and it accentuates Leon’s muscles so sometimes he hides his clothes in Leon’s drawers on purpose NCNEHDNDJDNDJ

• After a while I wholly think Luis grows out his hair/ grows a little beard and Leon is obsessed w it

• I think even before he met Luis, he was exactly Leon’s type. Tall dark and handsome NXNDHDND he always pictured being with a man like that and he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t kinda into Spanish accents

• Leon makes a extra effort to hide old photos of him as a Rookie from Luis because whenever he finds them he starts crying and is like “OOOOUGGHHH LEEEOOOONNN YOU WERE SUCH A BABYYYY……. THE WORLD WAS SO CRUEL TO YOOOOOUUUU…… OUAHAGAHSGHA”

• Oh also they’re both autistic. There is NO WAY Leon is neurotypical with that eye contact and lack of social awareness and Luis’ special interest is horses and Don Quixote you can’t convince me otherwise (He also likes infodumping to Leon abt sciency stuff :))) )

• I think Luis cries very easily. Not even over anything reasonable he’s just an emotional guy HDBDHDNDHDN

• Leon has had to sit Luis down multiple times and say to him “It’s ok. You don have to keep trying to repent for your mistakes. Being here and alive is more than enough of an apology for me. You can forgive yourself”

• Luis likes to gush about Leon to Rebecca and Leon likes to gush about Luis to Chris and Claire. They’re idiots sooooo in love

• @hamartia-grander again stolen from you but Leon always keeps a photo of Luis with him when on missions and they’re always calling whenever they can <<<333

• Luis has gotten every single little mole and freckle of Leon’s memorised perfectly so he can kiss them whenever he wants :))

Him and Alex used to have liveleak binge sessions. Started off as just an Alex thing but then Jay got curious and so they just started binging liveleak together.

Has 1 secret stuffed animal that he slept with almost every night that no one knows about. It got burnt down in his apartment :(

ok so obviously we have a well established stranger things hybrid hive on here which is so flourished and lovely

but it recently got me thinking abt mauraders hybrids. like ofc ik they have their animal counterparts and animagus selves already, but it could be a super cute play on too!!

like, tell me u cannot see remus lupin as a sweet, slightly grumpy, otter hybrid who’s life purpose is to hold hands as often as possible!! he loves bathing and just floating around on his back in the bath, blank stare as u try ur hardest to shampoo the bubbles into his hair, content with not helping even a bit. brings u little trinkets that he often steals from sirius’ hoard stash, smile on his face and so proud of himself until sirius stalks over (which either leads to a small brawl, or sirius hogging you for the rest of the night - if Remus has the audacity to give you his treasures, then you’ll become one of siris treasures too. no backsies)

sirius black being a little pedigree cat, all proud and yowling and getting into cat fights over even the briefest look that he could consider as sour. he’s the type of cat who’ll bat bat bat his owner with his paw if he feels even just slightly under appreciated. he can make do with regular food, but he’ll definitely prefer the richer ones. absolutely throws a fit if you don’t give him enough kisses, or if he thinks you’re favouring a n y o n e over him. he will straight out tell everyone he’s your favourite, because the more he says it, the likelier it is to be true in his head

horrifically clingy, albeit a little co dependent, nanny dog james potter. like the dog from Peter Pan, 100%. he’s big and slobbery and just full of love. let’s sirius bat at him whenever he feels the need to; james thinks it’s bats of love. will sit at the door when u bathe Remus, unsure if he’s pouting bc he wants to help you, or get in the bath himself, or if he wants to get in the bath with you allll. the ungodly amount of slobber this man tries to lay on you in relaxed moments is insane. maybe it’s one of those days where u come home or wake up and ur heads pounding, and u just need to nap, all lethargic and sore throated. u best believe james is gonna become a weighted (sloppy) blanket for as long as he feels. not u. him. he knows what u need better than u do (really just a ploy to let u get loved on, especially if ur more of a reserved, shy, quiet, touch-avoidant or easy breezy kind of person)

ALSO: sirius definitely finds a little bell on one of his treasure hunt adventures. u decide then that maybe he’d love a sleek little collar/necklace with a bell on it if he loves this throwaway bell sm, it also can’t hurt that sirius goes a little wonky at the idea of being owned or belonging to you anyone. he goes quiet when u give it to him, zones out stare, but quickly put it on etcetc. sirius’ biggest rival, remus, immediately is jealous and want one too. sirius concedes but only after a lengthy battle and only if you promise he’ll have a completely different design to his own sleek, black, pleated leather one. remus gets a thicker, greener, band with a bell. James is just happy to be there (but it’s a little unfair, he’s been so good about all of this so you get him a cutesy braided red one with a little golden bell, and also treat him to matching baby blue ribbons bracelets!!)

can also see them wanting an even more perm any form of this, insisting u all go out and get proper matching jewellery:,))

omg cat!sirius!!! i think i've only ever gotten dog hybrid!sirius before, bc of his animagus, but i adore little black cat hybrid sirius who hates everyone but you kind of thing :') he's a menace, he whacks you all the time (never to hurt you, just to get your attention), and yes james lets him so he's the most common target, poor guy </3 he pitches fits every day, but he does know your limits, and if you're having a particularly bad day, he'll be all grumbly butting his head into your chest like was gonna complain about how cold it is but didn't wanna piss you off. jus' keep me warm instead.

dog hybrid!james !!!!!!!!!!! omg, i think the dog in peter pan was a st bernard, right?? biiiig buff beefy dog hybrid james who has massive arms and an even more massive heart <3 smooching is his favorite hobby, you're pretty much always under barrage of either his puckered lips or messy swipes of his tongue, no matter what you're doing. you could be sweeping the floors and he'll find a way to kiss you up. he's a big snuggler too, he loves just flopping his entire body on you and snoozing away, probably drooling into your neck

omg omg omg you propose the collars as, like, bracelets or something, but sirius takes it SO seriously (hehe). he puts it on faster than you think is possible, latches it proudly, and keeps stretching his neck out so everyone sees it standing proudly against his skin. and yeah, remus is pissed. you have to shut down their arguments and get them to the shops that night because Remus refuses to sleep without one. Personally, James doesn't need one, he knows any hybrid who tries approaching him will be able to smell you all over him from how much he flattens himself on you, and that's enough for him, but he really does loooove the red one you get him, he makes you put it on for him and he'll shiver when you trace your fingers over it while he's flopped on top of you <3

The orphans AND the coworkers who didnt know (IM SO SAD) especially the footage found about someone wanting to adopt a kid from the inner orphanage (because that was like, a thing for the workers to do) just to get paperwork that "they are in "testing"" LIKE NOOOOAAAOOO. Theres litterally footage of the kids getting picked off with everyone celebrating "who is leaving today?" WHYYYYE (scene where the player goes into the giant sphere where they had a fake town)

and then again what about the kids/workers who DID KNOW. (Catnap,, THEO) like theo being taken away for trying to escape the orphanage, and then being turned into the cat thang (AND THEN THE CO. MAKING HIM INTO A MARKATEBLE PLUSHIE AND SHOW HAGHSHA)

its so crazy how the prototype teied to help him out when he was a kid, and in return once tunred into some giant gas tank to make the orphans sleep, he became the prototypes "worshipper" (he is standing on two legs worshipping bodies that supposed to look like the prototype)

AND THE PLAYER OMG me and my sister had theories about the player being like a worker or a kid from there and it was kinda confirmed to maybe be BOTH??? INSANE!!! hoe did they escape the happy hour?? Why did they come back?? Who wrote the letter "wer'e still here" and WHO do they think is still there LIKE CMON!!!

Theres so much more like how my sister is in love with Mrs.Delight like where did she and the teachers even come from, (I ALSO LOVE HER shes so CRAZY), the kid body left in a duffel bag left at LUDWIGS the OWNER AGHH, DOG DAY!! being left alive and then litterally being EATEN ALIVE??? and then the prototype killing catnap, catnap giving up his body??? (im gonna be so fr i thought the prototype was offering his hand not gonna STAB HIM) hugfy wuggy confirmed dead, AND WHAT HAPPENED TO KISSY MISSY!!!!?

honestly my interest in this is just amplified by SHB cause i love his playthroughs and theories,, (im gonna watch his theory vid when i get home w my sister)

OMG ANON I AM SO GLAD THAT YOU ASKED because i have not thought about this further at all. but now i can!!

so this ask is in reference to this notting hill gifset which i reblogged - and listen. i physically cannot consume ANY media without trying to make it into some kind of a piarles fic. and this notting hill gifset is no different... i mean come on. it's only one of my favourite rom-coms ever! of COURSE i'm going to piarlify it.

NOW TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION: who says what? that is to say, who's who?

the easy approach - and indeed the first one that occured to me - is to make charles anna/julia roberts' character. i mean, come on. famous actor charles falls for bookstore owner pierre... it practically writes itself, doesn't it?

and do i see charles as julia roberts? YEAH i do. charles uttering the 'i'm just a girl... standing in front of a boy... asking him to love her' line is just... YEAH

but at the same time

i like to flip expectations sometimes, so i was also thinking about it the other way around? like, that could also be so fucking wholesome?

charles as the awkward, adorable and hopelessly endearing local bookshop owner who pierre can't help but be charmed by? i see it. pierre as the slightly cynical, jaded and dogged by the press actor (who's a secret romantic and longs for someone to spend the rest of his life with?) i can SO see it.

i think charles is also absolutely the type to fumble and stammer his way awkwardly through meeting the actor he's secretly had a crush on - and with charles' luck, of course he WOULD happen to run into that actor again and spill his orange juice all over pierre's shirt. of course he would.

then i also think pierre is absolutely the type to impulsively kiss someone after they've oh-so-generously leant him a shirt after the aforementioned orange juice incident, like

YUP. tell me you see it, anon. tell me you see it!!

(in my piarles vision, pierre would probably not only kiss charles but also fully push him up against the wall and snog him senseless. because yeah. they're Like That™).

and then all the shenanigans about charles going to pierre's fancy hotel and being mistaken for a reporter - instead of the iconic horse & hound, i would probably have charles pretend to be a reporter for motorsport.com or something similar, LMAO - but i think that scene would be absolutely hysterical and also sooooo fitting for the two of them.

and also. oh my god. ALSO. actor!pierre going to visit charles who -despite living in monaco - is just some normal guy with a normal (if slightly insane and chaotic) family. pierre having dinner with that family and fitting in with them like they've been friends for years. pierre joking with arthur and lorenzo and being gentlemanly with pascale, and thinking that this is the happiest he's felt in years (and hey, if i can sneak in a not-so-subtle "hollywood as an allusion for red bull racing & pierre's time there" thing, then i'll be even happier.)

and then of COURSE the iconic "can i stay a bit longer?" // "stay forever" moment... well. i think it's clear now. pierre, for once uncharacteristically hesitant, asking if he can stay with charles just a bit longer and deny his reality for just a few moments more? and charles, devasatingly earnest and sincere, telling him "stay forever." 🥹

and i'm going to stop myself there, before i accidentally talk about this for five thousand words more and make it a full-on fic plan, but... yeah. YEAH. i think this idea could be soooo so so beautiful, and i love it almost beyond words 💜

ya its in a park in my town where a lot of people actively practice witchcraft, satanism, is a historical war site, and also stolen from indigenous people etc. also there was like an incredibly fucked up murder there in the 70s.. like insanely fucked up. im pretty sure i walked over the spot where it happened when i was there the other day and then when i was on the beach i started walking towards a certain section and stopped dead in my tracks because something told me not to go that way. also i kept feeling like i was being surrounded by animals who were intending to try and protect me (squirrels coming up to me and a raven sitting and watching me for 20min about 5ft away from me). when i started walking away from the spot on the beach this woman with her dog started walking down the other way and the dog turned and started barking super defensively like it was pissed and i could tell it wasnt looking at me but right behind me and the owner was like omg im so sorry he literally never barks like that and i was like its ok! and i turned and started walking up the hill and the dog kept barking but still looking at where i had come out of. then i was walking along the trail and i felt this feeling like someone was watching me and i kept looking at this guy on a parch bench thinking it was him but like it wasnt him cause he was staring at his phone. last night right when i was about to go to sleep this literally all made sense to me and i got super freaked out. when i started falling in an out of sleep i had a dream of the part of the beach i didnt enter and a man in all black started walking towards me and i woke up super fucking scared. i didnt fall asleep until 2am and i had to sleep with my lights on.

okay here we go!!!! little vin facts time!!!!! he's always been searching for that one thing he's exceptional at, he's had so many hobbies he's started and then just dropped cause it didn't feel like the one its insane. he's begged trin to teach him guitar before but she just refuses cause she knows he'll drop it before the week is over and yet he still insists even saying she just has to teach him how to hold it correctly and he can "figure out the rest". also he knows all the owners of nearby stores because he frequents them so often to get groceries and to pick up dog food to feed the strays in his neighbourhood and they all adore him and make sure to tell his mum that hes a good kid 🥹 he LOVES horror movies, he's been forcing pogo to watch them with him since they were little and despite how pogo can't handle blood and guts he still somehow persuaded him each time to stay he loves scream (hes among the many who had their bisexual awakening thanks to billy) and has a very deep hatred for the scary movie franchise and he will rant abt it when its brought up!!!! despite his calm and kind demeanour he has a lot of anger inside of him that he has no idea what to do with, he does a good job of keeping it inside for the most part but it gets the better of him sometimes and he can lash out or just cut himself off from everyone and everything. since ive been thinking abt what vin would be like in his 30s i imagine he would have much more control over it by then thanks to being in therapy (FINALLY everyone cheered). hes a very touchy feely person, he love's physical affection. theres lots of hugs to be had in his household, he likes to lie down on his mums lap when theyre watching tv together and when he moves out he does the same with pogo :') he also likes being the big spoon sometimes

SO i’m going back to my home country tomorrow for a month, and pros: I’M MEETING MY PUPPY I’M BRINGING BACK TO AMSTERDAM AAAAH i could not be more excited about this!!!!!!!! me! a dog owner! god. he is literally the cutest puppy i can not wait to meet him 😭

cons: i need to attend a wedding of a childhood/family friend and GOD i do NOT want to see these people at ALL have them all comment on how i look (because they will lmao, third world country + older gen = zero tact) just. even the idea of it stresses me out, fake polite smiles and unnecessary explanations (like oh my god you haven’t seen me for at least 6-7 years what kind of autonomy do you think you have)

I just really hate that any kind of comment, positive or negative, anything, will circulate back to your weight lmao like ik i sound dramatic but it does, like whyyyy does this need to be the FIRST thing that is commented on. i will persevere, i’ve had an ED for a better chunk of my life and I think I’m as recovered as I can be so TRULY whatever but lmao mentally preparing myself for an entire evening of this. Going to attempt to get blackout drunk tbh. I just hate that people feel like they can rightfully just outright comment on the way you look like. that is an insane thing to do. i don’t want to be perceived! n e way. i am kind of excited to go back home and see my best friend and my dog omg. a dog!!!

I told my phone friend I’d call her last weekend. Then I just…never did. I kind of forgot that as a parent and now dog owners, weekends are nice but not so restful or having tons of downtime. The kids have activities. We have family shit I gotta cook for. I also want to think about food for the week. I do laundry. Someone has to take the dog to the dog park for her insane amount of necessary running (usually Jeremy) and while they do, the other person has both kids (omg except those glorious times when Jeremy makes both kids go with him to the dog park…but that’s usually so I can get housework done!) I try to work in exercise. With the little downtime I do have, I want to just veg and watch tv or have my audiobook. Not get on the phone for an hour and run through the litany of “and how is husband” “and how is health” etc. And again I must emphasize - I do really like her!! And there’s a lot of guilt tied up in it because the friendship had been dying and was maybe going to peter completely, but then she got diagnosed with MS, so I’ve tried to be a better friend, but it’s been hard because she’s still in that “I want people to behave the Right way re: my MS….but I don’t yet know what the right way is and everything makes me angry” phase. And she gets very depressed and will stop answering texts etc for long periods of time. All of which is completely understandable but it has made things challenging!! Bah
