Pajamas I think Wicked the Musical characters would wear (I’m bored)

I can see Elphaba wearing these black ones with maybe some more sensible black slippers. I can also imagine her braiding her hair for bed (pink bow for G(a)Linda of course).

G(a)Linda would wear a frilly pink nightgown, I can imagine short sleeves and a lot of lace, I can also imagine her in one of those sleep masks with the fake eyelashes on them. These slippers kinda remind me of her too. I think she also might sleep with hair curlers and one of those mud masks(which matches her wife hehe. Plus the black lace on the sleep mask.)

Fiyero would wear overly expensive little rich boy pajamas. In the OG Oz books the favorite color of his country is yellow, so what better than gold? I can also imagine him having a canopy bed lol (he’s very “rich kid who’s parents don’t pay enough attention to him” core. Him and Glinda both, in fact, to be honest).

Boq would wear either this stripy blue button down two piece one or these goofy Victorian long underwear. He’d probably also have some fuzzy patterned socks. He 100% sleeps with a stuffed animal and you cannot convince me otherwise.

Nessa would wear something more modest (and probably more period accurate😅) and for some reason I can imagine her liking florals.

Dr Dillamond has Scrooge pajamas and bunny slippers.

Madam Morrible would wear an over the top extravagant nightgown with rich widow robe.

The wizard would also wear extravagant pajamas and a rich widow robe. Not to match Morrible. They just have the same taste.

i went to watch wicked the musical recently and it was awesome so of course i had to draw some fanart

idk what i was going for exactly, this composition just popped into my head. but i wanted to kind of show glinda's guilt and juxtapose it with the message perpetuated by the ozians that "no one mourns the wicked" bc she is definitely mourning

i kinda just gave up on drawing fiyero's gun in that perspective but otherwise im pretty proud of this :D

"Peculiar," said Dr. Dillamond, poking at the hand sticking out of the ground. "You haven't seen anything yet," said Elphaba, sitting on her heels. "Just watch." Dr. Dillamond knelt next to her. She could tell he wasn't sure if she was sane or not, but thankfully he kept quiet. Lines appeared in the pumpkin and the limbs began to twitch. Fiyero finally opened his eyes. "Extraordinary!" said Dr. Dillamond, poking Fiyero with his hoof. "This shouldn't be scientifically possible!" "Neither should green skin, but Omega can attest that I was born this way," said Elphaba. Fiyero mumbled something and Elphaba sighed. "Dr. Dillamond, don't put your hooves in his mouth."

i never realized how many people hated dr. dillamond???

maybe it's 'cause i read the book, but that goat is super important to both elphaba and glinda's character development. the musical rushes a lot of things with him, and also adjusts his fate. i'm curious to see how they handle him in the movie.

in the book, glinda's on her way to shiz and you see her interactions with dr. dillamond. it heavily portrays the human vs Animal situation - especially with more hoity toity type people.

the book version of dillamond also heavily influences elphaba in a million ways, ultimately sparking her activism. the musical shows elphie not really getting into a whole lot, but she is involved in a sometimes-violent activist group, off on missions regularly.

i don't expect many characters like, *fate* to change - but I am hopeful that we'll get more of the nuance of the events in the book that can mesh with the musical's narrative changes.

tl;dr - hopefully the movie fleshes out the story so people don't hate characters that are actually important

The fact that they have yet to announce any casting for Dr Dillamond makes me worry his character has been cut. Which like okay.....?? no face for the Animal plight then. I'm hoping they're just holding onto that detail and he's going to be a disgusting hyper realistic Goat that's voice acted and he's going to meet the ending he has in the book.

Plus bc they've cut it into two parts I'm so excited for the chance for them to shoehorn not one but TWO original Oscar Bait(tm) songs. Anyone have any guesses on where there's will go and if they'll add even the inkling of anything into the plot?

I hope at least they include Nessa's song.
