The way this scene makes me uncomfyyyy. Tamaki is clearly uncomfortable, you can see it on his face, which should already be enough for Eclair to move back. But Tamaki is also moving back, he clearly doesn't want Eclair to be this close to him, but she doesn't care and moves closer, like she is uncomfortably close to Tamaki, my poor boy doesn't deserve this. What's even creepier is that she loves touching him when he does not want to be touched. Sure Tamaki will get close and personal with his clients in the host club, but they want it, and it's hard to imagine him just straight up ignoring them if they don't want it. And sure he might touch Haruhi but whenever she makes it clear that she doesn't want to be touched (Like twisting the skin on Tamaki's hand) he backs off and doesn't just ignore her and proceeds to touch her anyway. Unlike SOMEONE who is VERY touchy with a certain someone who is uncomfortable with it, I'll let you take a guess at who I'm talking about.

This is why I hate this girl so much, she's just way too touchy with Tamaki and just gives off very manipulative vibes, like when she literally dropped his phone in the fish tank when someone called him, if that's not the definition of toxicity I don't know what is. Yet Tamaki was still such a gentleman to her when he should've called her out for being very touchy, manipulative, and creepy. I wish at least SOMEONE called her out, but nobody did and she walks off scott-free at the end. Double standards are fucking dumb istg. If Tamaki was a girl and Eclair was a guy, it would be shown as the fucked up thing that it is and people would have actually called them out, But since Eclair is a girl nope! Tamaki even thanked her at the end for doing the bare fucking minimum. Tamaki is too nice sometimes istg. Like idgaf that Eclair cried at the end, fuck her she deserves it.

friends out there it is so worth it and just gets better and after all that reading of cute stressful slow burn character growth the ending held me in a warm hug..

#i read it all in the past few days and it was absolutely worth all 18 volumes #** the anime goes up to volume 8/9 and they diverge a bit #really the same but the ouran fair is different and eclair doesn't happen #grandma stuff happens waaaay later #which i think is nice its all a slow build although the anime finale totally works
