On a Date with Giovanni Potage!💖

There weren’t really any good places to get something to eat in this particular part of town, but there was this one diner just 5 blocks away. The mention of it sounded nice, but there was one problem: the two of you didn’t have any fast way of getting there.

“Man, maybe we should have planned this out huh,” you chuckled, “I could have driven us there..”

“Eh, yeah,” he shrugged, “buuuut…” oh no.

You knew that mischievous tone; he was about to let the impulsive thoughts win. A sly grin creepy across his devilish mug as he takes your hand, holding it tightly —not in a way that would hurt, of course— and books it.

A full on sprint, if you will.

Giovanni, for the most part, is considerably more athletic than you, so it’s good that he’s essentially carrying you(dragging you) as you two run into the crevices of the city.

There’s nothing more free feeling than running through alleyways with your partner. Letting the wind (and him) whisk you away throughout the many twists and turns of the city no one cares to take. Sure, you could just walk along the sidewalk and have a nice chat for the next 45 minutes, but where’s the real fun in that? Every time you get to spend time with Giovanni was like to an adventure; always something new! It was your favorite part about him.

Making sure you were okay, Giovanni turned her head back. The way the wind had its way with your hair made him giggle; you looked silly! That’s not to say his was any better, and based on how it was quite messy as is, you couldn’t help but laugh as well!

The way your brain released endorphins was in fact, akin to many dolphins being free in your mind; they swam freely yet somewhat in sync with each graciously lovely thought you had about your partner. A loving feeling swelled in your heart (that totally wasn’t you being out of breath) as you held on tighter to Giovanni’s hand as you two continued one of your many smaller ventures together.
