Playing ANE what a joy, ep 6 p1

We start with Nevra finishing his report. Erika mentions that everyone is here, except Leiftan who has a high fever. She also notices that Nevra is spiteful about , and that everyone ignores his remarks because "the don't want to rile him up". Someone could put him in his place, because IMHO high fever is a good excuse to skip on report of organization you are not part of.

Look, I always praise background and sprites but:

...they should be drawn in same scale. Jamon is on a mission, will it be explained what is this mission, or it's just another detail just to dry my of my maana?

FUKING familiar. Erika mentions how she missed it. Well, I didn't, the blasted shithead already costed me 12 maana. that's 4 wigs I have to put on market!!!

HH speaks that all anomalies for sure (?) mean that Earth and Eldarya are merge. Erika thinks about Blue Sacrifice, how it would lose a meaning.

...and dragonkins, slayed by faeries. And aengels, who agreed to be sacrified. And those aengels killed by their brothers. And daemons killed by other faeries. But sure, let's mention only dragons, because Lance is here, and it is his time to shine in this episode. Instead of wasting 12 maana on my familiar, let's explain properly what BS really was for new players.

And there are more and more portals opening everywhere.

Could be just google translation, but my question is: cannot or should not? Because there might be a bunch of humans toddlers somewhere in Eldarya right now... and the mere thought is scary. I know, I KNOW. They do not hurt little girls in Eldarya.

Thank you, Huang Chu for answering my question. Ewelein and Zifu are tense, they look for HH reaction and whole atmosphere is weird, like HH was hiding things from Light Guard. Huang Chu treats Mathieu like shite, refusing to explain him how unstable portals would harm anyone trying to use them. She is not a flawless person, but still, at least she is SOMETHING. Ewelein tho… is just an empty, pretty shell of herself. Love doesn't suit her.

I am sure she is much better. Her illusions only caused chaos during battle and costed life of innocent Edgar, why should she be concerned? Nasty mumpsimus.

They discuss how portals are still not studied enough, and while I do not enjoy this part, it's not particularly bad.

Or is he afraid that his cover would be destroyed? Nice detail. They discuss the fate of plp who could land near Vampires' lands or in Genkaku. Hints that not everything is so sweet in Eldarya, Erika. Think about it.

WRONG. It happened, and ended badly for all people who were teleported into Genkaku. They all died. You have been just told. You don't know if similar tragedy didn't or won't happen in Grand Yamisse Mines or Sleepy Forest (yup, those places were mentioned in TO).

Tell her, Nevra! It's not like she was thrown to prison just for being a human! Or like she talked to Ezarel about his people trying to harm Anne-Marie. Or...

We are at episode 17 and I start to think there won't be right time for those things in ANE. Perhaps the message will be "let's love and live peacefully", and Erika will die to make faeries and humans accept each other but... Once again it seems to me that "love" for humans from first episodes of ANE was a myth, and that even in Eel some faeries would gladly throw us into jail.

AND OMG, Ewelen can talk. Erika made good point:

Chrome is still afraid, and while I agree with him- people on Eldarya will be a dangerous thing, I cannot help but repeat my doubts: are faeries super advanced in everything or are they weak and cannot defeat an army of people? can't be both, Beemoov, make up your mind. Confuuuused.

Do I, Erika know? A girl who was sheltered, pampered and couldn't fight? Who was shocked at mere mention of battles, fights, weapons, prison or murder? Who has seen her first death during Yvoni mission? Chrome, you are making no sense. So far it's faeries who hurt me more. Suddenly our, humans' weapons are deadly, while magic of faeries is nothing. Sure, Lance, Leiftan or even kitsunes magic means nothing. Chrome speaks about bloody history of humans wars. Well, the genocide of dragonkin and aengels sounds peaceful. Death of whole Kappa tribe was peaceful. Damn, you are sitting next to person who was planning to destroy whole world, but sure, it's only humans who we should be afraid of. But ofc Erika speaks nothing of it. Words are source of misunderstanding, right? /s.

Uh, yes. Lance, perhaps you should talk to Huang Chu, she has nice words how even leaders can err. One thing is interesting and puts Guards and how other faeries treat them in different light:

... yes and no, Nevra. Opening portals can be crucial if something goes really wrong on Eldarya. In my story after Oracle's death faeries are preparing to be boarded back to Earth in case their world will collapse. Everything is better than staying on dying lands. And both HH and Ewelein (SHE SPEAKS!!!) have similar idea.

We can encourage Light Guards to question us about Earth, it can boost our LoM with Zifu and HH. Sorry Zifu. I stay quiet and let Mathieu do the honors.

... This was what I was forced to say in this game. And this is how I felt in real life:

Erika is gushing how HH is the best, while what she did was just minimum. They want to open portals to evacuate/study them- ask Absinth to gather ingredients. They are preparing for ambush- Obsidian is told to be ready. Shadow is... suposed to do something. It's not a plan no Sun Zi level, but Erika is easily impressed.

BTW it's been 200 maana or smth, and there is no mention of my LI. Stay classy, Beemoov. I wonder will you add Erik to next Valentine Event. I know you wont, you cheap company.

She might expect you to live a v short life tho, Erika, and what will you do with this? This is the end of our grande pow-wow, all but Nevra leave for the hall.

Wait, they just came back? I thought it's like another day, but no, it seems they just got back and Koori is so relaxed and not feeling guilty at all. Thanks to her wild illusion and those damned magical stones everyone could be dead. Erika was almost trapped in illussions (it was Edgar who helped her snapped of it). Mathieu was almost killed. And not one word? Writer, what the hell, what the hell?

Sure, you can act this way if it comes to your life and death and it makes you reckless at worst. However, we are (or should be) talking about death of someone else, and that makes you heartless. That's not a cute look, Beemoov. But we are now focusing on that "surprise" that Koori is planning, and Erika cannot thing about anything but this, so I guess this is it, we won't be fussing over Edgar's death much. At least Erika admits that the mission wasn't a triumph.

+4 maana for that fuking familiar. Please tell me that Lance will stomp on it at the end of ANE. He is soooo good with animals.

We search for Ophelia, find her in Adalric's company. I must say that her head is too big, but design is pretty, will def headcanon my OC and Leif's older child looking like her.

Ophelia SPEAKS. But it doesnt change a thing, she merely repeats what everyone knows/feels. That the doom is coming. The Oracle has spoken, the world will change and we cannot help it. But it will depend on us, because why not, extra maana, doesnt have to make sense, sounds deep.

+6 maana wasted on familiar.

Adarlic admits that Ophelia is a reincarnation of the Oracle. No one is surprised, right? Why didn't Ewelein nor HH tell that to Erika at the begining? Who knows, not me.

Aldaric repeats same message in many sentences, but this is not troubling. It fits his character. It works. The problem appears when other characters act this way (Erika hem hem).

+4 maana spent on familiar. This is pretty annoying. To make myself feel better I go to watch Leiftan's statue. I wonder if they sculpted, you know. DETAILS.

Horny Erika attacks. Honestly, what would you do if you met your boss kissing their spouse? I would either go back to room and wait, or make some noise, apologise and go my way. Would you wait and WATCH like horny peeper? Well, that's Erika for you.

I do hope that Leiftan is still having fever. I do not play this game to read how Erika gets excited by seeing people make love to each other.

We have been discovered, and by their reaction I feel that HH and Ewelein weren't just kissing. They were having a quickie in the middle of common corridor, right? While Erika was observing them.

Erika wonders who is most embarrassed. Erika, it's me. It is me, reading that scene.

Ewelein is rather shy about it, while HH seems smug. We finally part and Erika goes to bed.

+8 maanas for a pet. Still better than reading how Erika stalks her friends' sex life.

She goes for a shower... and I will leave her there.

Eldarya Come-Back

[Disponibile in Italiano qui]

Eldarya EU servers are back up. For people out of the loop, a fire destroyed both the servers and the backups of Eldarya. It's not beemoov's fault.

BR and US servers, stored somewhere else, are perfectly ok.

The FR server accounts were lost, but the story retrieved.

All the others (IT HU PL DE ES RU) have both the accounts and the story wiped out. ANE has been re-translated/Recovered, but origins is currently only playable in english.

Only the first 2 episodes of ANE have been translated so far. Errata corrige: PL, RU, ES haven't released any ANE episodes yet. DE IT and HU have the first 2 available in english. DE and HU appear to be broken.

Level 7 and episode 6 of origins (completed) are needed to access the market.

BUG REPORT: Currently there is a bug where if you change the name of your companion for the first time after evolving it you lose 100gc. please take care.

BUG REPORT: If you already have a companion and you play episode 3 of Origins you won't be able to hatch the companion Kero gives you and you might get stuck right after "Objective: Go to Kero’s room to complete the Companion Questionnaire"

Accounts must be recreated. You have to create a new account and, if you ever bought maana or gold coins, follow the instructions below.

Everyone gets 1000 maanas, 100 gold coins and 350.000 ancient coins upon creating an account. You will also get 5 big exp potions, 10 small, 5 big energy potions, 10 small, 1 evolution potion and 3 incubators. You will also get the companion Sogiluv... it's not very good. You can retrieve some (most?) of the currency you bought by contacting the support (see below), you will be credited maana/ancient coins depending on your purchases; once you get the money back the 3 spin-offs will automatically unlock, along with the bank outfits.

The first companion to hatch will require no incubation time.

BR and US Server got 10.000 AC for their troubles too, but no maana or GC or items.

Since you can now get any companion you like if you want to get the "best" one in terms of energy/luck ratio you should consider these:

PLESE NOTE: Hatching an adult companion (Chiromagnus, Blobbiathan) has the advantage of giving you an adult companion AND saving the evolution potion. This could be nice to have, for example, during a map event, you can use all the energy of your companion after midnight, then hatch another egg, use all the energy of the baby, evolve with the potion, use all the energy of the adult. If well played , with a baby companion, it means potentially 400-500 energy to use on the map

"Best" Companion, bought food (36 maana): Blobbiathan Energy 170 (already an adult when hatched) Luck 360 - 400

"Best" Companion, bought food (30 maana or less):

1. Chiromagnus Energy 160 (already an adult when hatched) Luck 340-390

2. Zarali Energy 90-160 Luck 350-380

3. Ocemas Energy 100-150 Luck 310-360

4. Ciralak Energy 110-160 Luck 300-350

I consider the Alfeli "better" because its food, elven grapes, comes from a 20energy/30 min area, Mont sizhe, compared to the food for the gallytrot, gallyflore, from the Cave (35 energy/60 min).

♦ WHAT CAN I USE ANCIENT COINS FOR?

There is a special ancient coins shop (Until May 9th) with ALL the items ever released in the game. I do not advise using them for Origins illustrations but I suggest you grab some of the rarest items at least. It's among the boutiques.

BANK ITEMS WILL ONLY APPEAR AFTER RETRIEVING THE PURCHASED CURRENCY (? Im not sure about this, some are there from the beginning and I'm still waiting on the email I sent for the currency)

♦ HOW LONG DOES THE SHOP LAST?

May 9th

♦ HOW DO I GET MY BOUGHT MAANA/GOLD COINS BACK?

Go to "your account" by clicking on your name (top right). There is a button to retrieve the credit, for many payment options there is a simple form to fill.

However, if you paid by credit card or paypal you have to send an email to the support (you can get the adress by clicking on "other"). In the mail you should include:

Credit card:

- Old/New Username (if they aren't the same) - The email address associated to the accounts - The date and the amount in €/$ of a recent transaction (max 12 months old, the most recent, the better). - Last 4 digits of the credit card you used. - I'm not sure what happens if you you used more than a credit card, I'd suggest sending one transaction per credit card and telling them about this issue.

Paypal:

- Old/New Username (if they aren't the same) - The email address associated to the accounts - If it's not the same email address, the email address/username of the paypal account. - The date and the transaction ID* of a recent transaction (max 12 months old, the most recent, the better).

* Transaction ID's can be found in the confirmation email you get when you make a payment or on the paypal website, in the payment history section.

One ID should suffice, they can retrieve them all from there.

♦ WHAT DO YOU ADVISE WE BUY?

On a general note, do not buy things that can be found at all times, like explorations items, other than that, anything you like, but I'd at least consider to buy/play the following:

*** PLEASE NOTE: I've heard rumors that during each event, you will be able to find things in explorations from the previous events of that kind, so easter should have the other easter events' outfits on the map. I'd wait a bit to spend the coins to see if we get any confirmation, the store will be open until May 9th.

HOW CAN I KNOW WHERE (SOMETHING) IS FROM?

Wiki. Or This wonderful site. Or the wikinyan (c'est moi!), I don't mind answering specific messages, I'll update this post with any question I get. If you don't know the french name you can find it out in the French shop.

1. COMPANIONS:

Other than the event companions that you like you should probably consider...

GET:

Minaloo and Draflayel. These only comes from the purro'swap. Once the store closes, if you're unlucky, you'll never see them again.

Calunko and Bunraku. They're 2 of the japan expo rewards and with the merchandise boutique closed, they're incredibly hard to obtain, you need a physical code.

Chiromagnus, while you can get this from explorations, the scroll for it is extremely rare, and 2000 AC is stealing it.

ON THE FENCE:

The Seryphon , Poulpatata (both of them) and the chestok. These can be found on AH but require Gold coins to get in exploration. Personally I won't get them, but it's personal preference.

SKIP:

All the normal explorations companions, no matter how rare. They'll start popping up at the market soon enough

2. CLOTHES:

This is clearly completely at your own discretion, Events and ranking rewards should be considered. However there are some times never released before, like the fireflies so...

GET:

Fireflies. A beta-tester reward item, they were never made available to purchase before.

Steam girl set (Total: 1594 AC). It's the japan expo 2017 reward, 9 pieces

Maana demon and its other 3 colorations is a skin never seen in the game, previously reserved for admins. It could however be added to explorations, like other items of this kind.

Frency French was once an inside joke for ChiNoMiko, has not been made available to the public before, you can buy the skin, the hairstyle (it's a special jackson), Frency French Top, etc it's just a joke, but it's still something you won't see again, if you like it.

ON THE FENCE:

Depending how much you hate alchemy, you can consider some alchemy stuff.

Some rare Skins like Nan'vi, that could be hard to find in explorations

Rainbow and Pearly hair colours, if you like them, they can be rare/offered only in rare circumstances.

Crylasm set (526 AC), top, socks, hat. It was a special Christmas outfit released one piece at a time during Christmas events of 2016, 2017, 2018

Healer support Set (400 AC), made of 7 pieces, it was a special gift given at the beginning of the 2020 pandemic)

Rainbow Spirit (1594 AC), released for the 2020 Pride month (sorta)

Guard ranking rewards, the total il 11.980 AC (thanks Desdhi ♥)

SKIP:

Anything normally on the shop, or from (normal) map explorations.

Possibly the event ones you like the best, there should be 42 event illustrations for a total of 105.000 ac

If you have the time to farm, the episodes' ones. They're way cheaper with replay, with a few exceptions (see below).

IF you play everything once then buy the rest you should spend around 146000

* Optimal means buying the illustrations where needed before May 9th, then play all the episodes at your leisure. The episodes where you'd have to buy illustrations are: 15, 23, 26, 29, 30.

Please remember that if you buy the illustrations then you decide to play the game you will ended up paying not only 186.000 ac for the illustrations, but also roughly 60.000 to play all the episodes. The only case where my racommendation is to buy the illustrations is if you really don't care about origins or you only want a few illustrations

I asked support about the bugs too

I explained the problems I've found so far, like the message about losing the illu with Nevra and Lance when you actually have them, making some people pay for them for no reason, and the fact that I haven't find a single person in the entire fandom (at least, among here, discord, twitter and facebook) who got Leiftan's illu without paying for it.

They said they are checking Nevra's illu, but the others are all fine (lie as I got my Lance illu right after the "you missed the illu", but let's say they already fixed that one, even if I haven't check again).

Assuming they are not again lying about bugs so they can get people to pay more trying to get impossible illus as it happened with ML before, if Leiftan's illu is alright, we already know:

It doesn't depend on one choice, as basically everyone had been trying anything so far and nobody unlocked it yet.

It doesn't depend on setting or not the crush, as people have tried both ways and lost it either way.

Eldarya, A New Era - Episode 2

J’arrive pas à trouver une phrase d’intro accrocheuse, alors lançons-nous dans le bain directement !

J’ai dépensé 2584 maanas. Ça semble être dans la moyenne, et je vois tout le monde être globalement satisfait-e du montant dépensé. Mais en ce qui me concerne, non, ce n’est pas un prix correct. Vous réalisez qu’on n’est qu’à l’épisode 2, qu’on a eu quelques scènes de vie au QG, une scène d’action, une scène de fin, et c’est TOUT ? Qu’au bas mot un quart des maanas de cet épisode ont été dépensés dans des scènes INUTILEMENT looooongues dont on aurait parfaitement pu se passer ? Que 2500 maanas, c’est la moyenne à laquelle on arrivait aux épisodes, j’sais pas moi, 10 ou 15 ? Alors ouais 2500 maanas ça paraît correct quand les derniers épisodes de The Origins montaient à 3000-3500 maanas, mais c’étaient les épisodes finaux, alors que les premiers on commençait à râler quand on arrivait à 2000, quoi. Comprenez bien que le but là c’est probablement de nous habituer à payer 2500 au début, « ça va c’est moins qu’avant, » puis on va avancer, arriver à 3000, « ouais mais c’est normal, on avance dans l’intrigue, » puis à 4000 ou 5000, « ouais mais c’est normal on arrive sur la fin, c’est logique que ça augmente, » parce qu’à ce moment-là on aura oublié qu’à la S1, 4000 maanas dépensés c’est qu’on avait VRAIMENT merdé quelque part en jouant. Donc non moi je suis pas très contente d’avoir dépensé 2500 maanas dans un épisode aussi court en contenu (pertinent), quand avec la même somme on avait plus en S1. Je savais que j’aurais jamais dû me réjouir trop vite du dialogue à 2 maanas.

Alors Nevra qui nous envoie quasiment bouler, d’un côté je comprends qu’il ait fait son deuil et tout, puis bon techniquement il s’entendait pas avec mon perso avec mon L’o’M au ras des pâquerettes mdr. De l’autre c’est hardcore, limite une meuf dans le coma depuis 7 ans qui se réveille, il s’en fout, même quand on a été sa meuf, clairement je comprends que les CDC Nevra le prennent mal x) Et à propos de deuil… Dès la scène suivante, Erika admet que de son point de vue, Valkyon est mort l’avant-veille, ce qui me fait penser qu’elle n’a juste pas du tout ressenti les 7 années dans le Cristal… Genre déjà physiquement elle n’a pas vieilli, mais du coup pour elle, c’est comme si elle s’était endormie et réveillée quelques heures plus tard. C’est appuyé par le fait que Leiftan précise que lui il « a eu le temps de réfléchir un peu » mais rien n’est dit sur Erika là-dessus. Donc oui techniquement, pour elle, Valkyon est mort l’avant-veille… … Et elle s’en fout ?! Enfin non, elle s’en fout pas, elle dit juste : « maintenant il faut que j’aille de l’avant, même si c’est très douloureux, il sera toujours temps de songer à ma vie amoureuse plus tard, en tout cas si le cœur m’en dit [...] » … Mais et son DEUIL ?????!!!!??!

A la recherche du deuil d’Erika pour « l’amour de sa vie »

En fait chez vous le deuil c’est comme le pardon c’est expédié, ça y est elle a parlé avec le fantôme de son mec et elle l’a évoqué une fois à son réveil (et des fois ça picote un peu son kokoro quand elle pense à lui) c’est bon pas besoin d’en faire plus, elle peut commencer à passer à autre chose deux jours après ??? Bon ben ok, hein, allons-y gaiement, apparemment faut bien. Nous cherchons Hua pour lui demander de nous donner des trucs à faire, et Koori nous dirige vers la Salle du Conseil. Qui est magnifique, ça tout le monde sera d’accord pour le dire, mais est-ce que ça valait la peine de faire 10 dialogues dessus pour nous la décrire dans les moindres détails alors que : ON LA VOIT ??? On est littéralement le nez dessus en lisant le texte, je les vois les arbres qui poussent jusqu’au plafond, je la vois la grosse table ronde, j’ai pas besoin qu’on me la décrive… On découvre Huang Chù, dont les cheveux ne font aucun sens, ils sont coupés en trois ??? Comment sont reliées les décorations ??? Le premier point à l’ordre du jour consiste à faire 10 000 circonvolutions et supporter des réactions inutiles à une mauvaise blague de Chrome juste pour dire que des trucs de la Terre arrivent en masse sur Eldarya, et aussi… Que Memoria a disparu. JE SUIS PAS D’ACCORD, on avait toujours pas élucidé le mystère du Gouffre de Schrödinger !!! Ahem… Cela dit, Erika soulève un point intéressant quand elle parle de Valkyon. Franchement pauvre Valkyky, absolument personne le respecte : personne pense à lui ériger un statue, sa meuf fait son pseudo-deuil en trois coups de cuillère à pot et c’est marre, et maintenant son éventuel lieu de repos éternel s’est volatilisé dans une dimension parallèle. Est-ce qu’au moins son corps physique a été enterré quelque part ?? Genre est-ce qu’on a un lieu de recueillement, une tombe, un mausolée, un volcan ?? Le deuxième point, c’est la (ré)intégration de Leiftan et d’Erika dans la Garde Etincelante. Et contre toute attente, les deux ont une réaction parfaitement sensée : Erika sait qu’elle n’est pas à la hauteur, et Leiftan sait que ce serait parfaitement con de le réintégrer après ce qu’il a fait. Et il a raison. Vous imaginez, vous, je sais pas, moi… Un chanteur qui aurait assassiné sa femme de sang froid et on le laisse revenir sur le devant de la scène comme si de rien n’était ? Ou un acteur auteur de violences conjugales continuer de tourner dans de grosses productions ? Ou un réalisateur pédophile gagner de hautes distinctions de cinéma ? Mdr j’rigole, mais imaginez. Nan pour le coup Leiftan a parfaitement raison. J’dis pas que dans ce contexte de fiction c’est inimaginable qu’un criminel comme Leiftan finisse par revenir dans des trucs de haute fonction, mais pas une réinsertion directe comme ça pouf, surtout alors qu’on n’a PAS EU d’arc de rédemption. Ça pour le coup c’est pas possible. Du coup je comprends pas la réaction de Nevra et des autres. Pourquoi on applaudit Erika qui réalise que quitte à être dans la Garde, elle préfère recommencer à zéro, et Leiftan on l’accuse de juste « vouloir se la couler douce » alors que p’t’être la Garde d’Eel ça pourrait tout simplement ne plus être son délire et que ses nouvelles aspirations dans la vie c’est d’aller élever des chèvres à la campagne (eh maintenant il peut, y’a des chèvres) ? Regardez-moi ça, je déteste Leiftan et je me retrouve en train de le défendre…

On aura vraiment tout vu en 2020.

Enfin pas tout de suite, perdons d’abord trois jours à nous balader dans le QG sans but précis, parce que ça faisait longtemps. Il est temps de choisir une Garde, et perso je suis restée sur l’Absynthe parce que ça me convient bien, mais je suis contente que les joueurs/euses qui voulaient changer aient pu le faire, d’autant plus que c’était une option qui était promise depuis quasiment le lancement du jeu il y a six ans. Enfin j’imagine que maintenant s’il y a un déséquilibre dans le nombre de membres de chaque garde ça n’a plus d’importance, étant donné qu’il n’y a plus de classement, il n’y a donc plus de raison de faire des quotas pour rééquilibrer. On nous parle de notre première mission, et avant qu’on puisse aller vaquer à nos (non-)occupations, Jamon nous interrompt pour dire que notre arme est sur le point d’être finie. Et j’en profite pour parler d’un point qui m’a beaucoup agacée durant cet épisode et celui d’avant : la façon dont Erika prend Jamon pour un idiot illettré. Elle passe son temps à nous faire remarquer chaque fois que Jamon emploie un mot un tant soit peu nouveau ou compliqué, en mode « lol il s’est mis à la lecture dis donc » et je trouve ça gênant. Certes, il a toujours été montré comme un ogre qui parle pas très bien la langue commune, mais il n’a jamais été présenté comme un idiot sans vocabulaire. Et quand bien même, est-ce utile de nous le faire remarquer A CHAQUE FOIS qu’il sort un mot de plus de deux syllabes ?! Bien sûr que non, mais on sait dans quelle mécanique ça rentre… Bref, elle va avoir une mission, tout va bien ! « Les choses vont rentrer dans l’ordre ! » Et te demander ce qu’ils ont fait du corps de ton MEC et voir si tu peux pas te RECUEILLIR quelque part ?! Ou au moins y songer ?! J’sais pas, moi, j’imagine qu’après m’être réveillée d’un coma de sept ans qui m’a paru durer quelques heures (du coup les souvenirs de la mort de mon mec sont frais), j’aimerais bien savoir ce qu’ils ont fait pour, oh j’en sais rien, honorer un minimum sa mémoire ?! On sait qu’ils ont au moins des rites d’enterrement ou de crémation, on a assisté plusieurs fois à des funérailles, qu’est-ce qu’ils ont fait de notre Valkyky ?! Je sais pas si je suis la seule à m’inquiéter de ce genre de détails mais vraiment ça me turlupine :( Après un énième dialogue étiré sur trois kilomètres comme du beurre qu’on aurait étalé sur une tartine trop grande avec Karuto et sa juliette de légumes dopée, il est temps de nous rendre à la forge pour récupérer notre épée. Nous assistons à un moment très solennel. Jamon nous présente notre épée et nous somme de nous en servir uniquement pour une noble cause. Nous prêtons serment, fière, et en même temps intimidée par cette nouvelle responsabilité qui nous est donnée. Nous possédons à présent une arme, qui nous servira à remplir notre rôle au sein de la Garde d’Eel. Il est temps de nommer notre nouvelle alliée. Un nom a du sens. Il reflète ce que nous sommes. Ce nom que nous allons donner à notre épée est important, il sera le nom de notre engagement envers notre nouveau foyer, le nom de la protection que nous allons apporter aux peuples d’Eldarya, un nom qui résonnera peut-être autant que le nôtre dans les légendes, le nom de l’épée de l’Aengel Ressuscitée, de la sauveuse de ce monde. Choisissons… Avec soin…

Meilleur choix de ma vie sur ce jeu.

Écoutez vous savez très bien que statistiquement, je serai pas la seule à avoir fait une blague similaire, et ça me permet de faire une pause où je rigole comme une baleine pendant 10 minutes face à ma connerie entre deux moments de désespoir à cause des dialogues inutilement longs, j’en ai besoin. En vrai je voulais mettre MaZigounette pour que ça aille avec le fait qu’on dise « elle » pour l’épée mais c’était trop long, et le mot en B je craignais que ça passe pas et puis il sonne beaucoup moins rigolo. Spéciale dédicace aussi à l’épée JeanCastex dont la propriétaire se reconnaîtra. Bon, c’est pas tout ça, mais faut s’entraîner. Edelric et Karenn sont déjà sur place, et si jamais quelqu’un se posait la question, « Sterngeschenk » ça veut juste dire « cadeau des étoiles » en allemand, voilà x) Ce qui correspond bien à notre sylphe, vous en conviendrez. (Et arrêtez de bully l’allemand, c’est très bien l’allemand, dites-vous qu’ils ont sûrement autant de mal à prononcer le français que nous quand ils le parlent pas è_é) J’ai fait le QTE mais j’arrive pas à savoir si j’ai réussi parce que tout le monde agit comme si on avait été nulle alors que je me suis plantée qu’une seule fois mdr. Sinon aussi on repense à Caméria, et je suis déçue parce que j’avais oublié qu’elle était censée partir à l’aventure elle aussi. Je ne saurai donc peut-être jamais comment elle a failli devenir une Valkyrie.

Le lendemain, nous rejoignons nos coéquipiers, dont deux sont déjà en train de se chamailler, donnant le ton pour l’une des scènes les plus pénibles de l’épisode. Déjà, je confirme que le comportement de Koori ça commence déjà à devenir super lourd. Vous savez que « hihi j’aime jouer avec les gens c’est mon truc » c’est franchement un comportement débile et pas attachant pour deux sous ? Et commencez pas à venir justifier ça avec « c’est parce qu’elle a un passé konpliké » parce que les kitsune qui se comportent de façon parfaitement nulle parce qu’elles ont un passé triste, vous m’excuserez mais j’ai déjà donné. Une fois dehors, j’avais pas remarqué le dragon dans les nuages dont quelqu’un a posté le screen sur le forum, et effectivement c’est la silhouette de Valkyon, maintenant que je la vois j’ai encore plus le seum que mA GARDIENNE L’AIT OUBLIÉ. J’ai choisi de parler un peu avec Mathieu, et une fois que nous rejoignons Chrome et Koori, s’engage alors la discussion la plus barbante de l’univers sur les hordes de fans de Mathieu. Parce que Mathieu il a des hordes d’admirateurs vu que c’est un humain, et c’est rigolo de le taquiner sur le fait qu’il a des tonnes de fans. Koori aime bien le taquiner sur le fait qu’il a des fans, elle aime bien faire semblant d’être jalouse qu’il donne de l’attention à ses fans et pas à elle, parce qu’elle croyait qu’elle était spéciale pour lui, mais en fait il pense surtout à ses fans, et Chrome il aime bien le taquiner aussi, et attention, Mathieu a pas intérêt à parler en mal de lui à ses fans, et Koori qui nous parle de racisme envers les humains, lol heureusement Erika a été une héroïne et non une méchante, sinon les humains auraient été mal vus, mais en fait c’était le cas quand elle était arrivée, et là Erika fait un résumé de la saison 1, puis Koori rappelle à Mathieu qu’il parle même pas d’elle à sa horde de fans, vous vous rappelez qu’il a une horde de fans ? Koori aussi elle commençait à avoir des fans, mais elle les a repoussés, elle, puis Chrome rappelle qu’elle au moins elle est dans la garde qu’elle voulait, alors Mathieu le prend mal et décrète qu’il parlera en mal de Chrome à sa horde de fans, car oui il a une horde de fans au cas où vous sauriez pas, du coup on fait des vannes sur le test de garde un peu pourri, et enfin on se dit, « eh au fait on a une mission, et si on y allait au lieu de continuer à charrier Mathieu sur le fait qu’il soit pas dans la bonne garde et qu’il ait une horde de fans ? » Ce paragraphe vous a semblé profondément ennuyeux, trop long, répétitif et inutile ? Ça tombe bien, ça a été mon exact ressenti à la lecture de ce passage. Et là, KotoriNyan un peu plus haut a relevé un détail très pertinent : Erika désigne le cercle de champignons de la forêt comme étant l’endroit par lequel elle est arrivée à Eldarya, alors que… Non, en effet, après qu’elle a posé ses pieds dans le cercle de champignons terrien, la première chose qu’elle voit d’Eldarya est la Salle du Cristal. … On va dire que c’est à nouveau sa mémoire de poisson rouge qui lui fait défaut, ce serait quand même pas une grossière erreur de scénario, on n’a jamais vu ça ici :’)

Ça fait 6 mois que j’ai pas pu faire ce genre de blagues faut que je me rattrape ok ?

Après j’ai raté l’illu de Mathieu (bon en fait j’ai raté les 3 mdr je sais pas ce qui s’est passé), et 200 PO c’est bien trop, rappel que les illus d’event c’était 80 PO, et même à Halloween et Noël 2019 où c’était 2 fois plus cher, c’était « que » 150 PO, pour des illus exclusives aux events, alors qu’ici on peut tenter de les ravoir quand on veut (dans la théorie). Donc nan déso ptdr 200 PO c’est pas ok. L’inflation chez vous elle va aussi vite que le pardon et le deuil, je commence à voir un schéma qui se répète. Notons également que OH ! Comme par HASARD, on passe directement de l’arbre creux à la forêt profonde alors qu’avant, y’avait bien au moins trois écrans entre les deux ! D’ailleurs quand j’y pense, j’ai aucun mal à trouver les personnages que je dois chercher ! C’est presque comme si ça aurait été possible de proposer un système « neutre, voire avantageux » même avec le paiement au déplacement en réglant mieux certaines données ! Accélérons. On trouve le bébé Seifaun, la balle de fusil, on se fait mordre, retour à l’infirmerie, « ouin ouin je suis trop nulle j’ai été blessée » (mais ça va la blessure profonde est quasiment guérie au bout de 15 minutes), on se cogne dans Nevra en allant voir Leiftan. Alors comme je l’ai déjà dit j’ai jamais vraiment aimé Nevra donc je m’en fous un peu qu’il ait pas envie de nous parler, et je peux comprendre qu’il soit complètement passé à autre chose en 7 ans, mais wow quand même, il était censé être notre ami, quoi. Et par contre Erikonne qui insiste avec la subtilité d’un rouleau-compresseur ça aussi c’est vachement indélicat quand même. Mais mdr j’suis assez d’accord avec les « réticences » de Nevra vis-à-vis de Leiftan dans leur dispute. Pas sur le fait qu’il veuille pas être dans la Garde, mais là je crois que ça visait surtout le fait… Que Leiftan a été le gros méchant de la saison 1 ?? Et du coup j’suis d’accord ?? x) Nous retrouvons le Seifaun qui est à deux doigts de mourir, et seule une décoction de trèfles de Fortuna peut le sauver. Nous courons donc au labo afin d’en demander une à Chù de toute urgen– « Kikoo y’a urgence ! - Ah ok entre dsl pour le bordel - Mdr j’ai vu pire avec Koori - Mdr tu m’étonnes au fait t’es dans quelle garde ? - La Garde Absynthe on t’a pas dit ? - Non mais bienvenue du coup - Merki - Et écoute pas ce que dit Mathieu sur moi et écoute pas toujours ce que je dis - Mais meuf t’es ma cheffe - Ouais mais on sait jamais imagine j’suis ta cheffe - Mais t’es ma cheffe - Mais imagine quand même - Ok - Si j’suis malade ou sous pression ou en train de comploter faut pas m’écouter - Ok stu le dis - Tkt si ça arrive tu pigeras - Ok - Ah et au fait - Koi - Dis pas à Mathieu ce que je viens de te dire - Ok mébon le test - Ui mais c’est sur moi que ça retombe ça me saoule tu sais - Non jsp mais ça a l’air nul - Ui grave nul mais bon quand y’a une incompatibilité de caractère tu sais - Non jsp le scénar me force à aimer tout le monde - Bah t’aimais pas Lance - Ui mais lui il tuait des gens - Ben moi j’aime pas Mathieu il entre dans le labo sans frapper - Mais frr ça a rien à voir - Ouais mais voilà des fois les gens sont chiants - … - … - Au fait y’a urgence jsp si je te l’ai dit » Pendant ce temps-là, le Seifaun a probablement eu le temps de clamser 10 fois, mais par la magie de la décoction de trèfles, il revit, fin de l’épisode.

J’ai vu deux fôtes lol : « Je ne m’étais pas posée la question » -> posé, et « Il m’a regardé » -> regardée, c’est Erika qui parle. BON. J’espère avoir pu rendre compte de l’absurdité de certaines scènes parce que clairement, si on doit se taper ça à chaque épisode pour avoir plus de dialogues à décompter on est pas sorti-e-s des ronces, les enfants. Vous croyez franchement que ça se voit pas qu’il n’y a plus deux ou trois bulles sur un écran de dialogue comme ça arrivait régulièrement ? Que les boîtes de récit ne font plus que deux lignes quand elles en faisaient souvent quatre ou cinq avant ? Qu’on prend bieeeen son temps pour décrire des trucs qu’on est littéralement en train de voir à l’écran du coup ça sert à rien ? La scène à l’orée de la forêt et celle avec Huang Chù c’est rien de plus que l’équivalent des balades dans le QG pour demander son avis à tout le monde, et les heures de perdition dans la forêt et les grottes de Balenvia dans The Origins : un prétexte à peine dissimulé de nous faire dépenser des maanas inutilement. Quitte à ce qu’il y ait plus de dialogues, faites au moins semblant de faire un effort pour que ça apporte quelque chose au scénario ou aux relations entre les personnages. J’ai pas besoin de cinq minutes de chamailleries débiles entre Koori et Mathieu pour comprendre leur relation ou d’une interminable discussion au timing discutable pour comprendre que Chù aime pas Mathieu. Du coup oui cet avis est long alors que j’ai dit qu’il se passait pas grand-chose mais ça reste vrai, comme y’a beaucoup plus de dialogues que nécessaire ça veut dire plus de trucs à analyser donc voilà. Sinon trop hâte de voir la réaction d’Erika quand elle va apprendre que Lance est le chef de l’Obsidienne mdr Allez, je vous laisse x)
