small instances where both of your fanbases start to notice lingering looks between the two of you until it becomes so much more

a/n: this isn’t much but i had fun writing it, lmk what you think! :)

pt 2

the first interaction is when you’re presenting an award that seventeen happens to win

as you and your co-announcer pass out awards, your fingers brush against his as you congratulate him, and he flashes a smile at you

both of your fan bases were quick to screen grab the interaction, and it very quickly became a cherished moment of more to come

it was closely followed by a different interaction where both of your groups were talking on stage, and you were moving to the side and had tripped over the length of your gown

he was quick to catch you by the elbow to steady you on your two feet

the people around you gasped and moved to make room

which left a spotlight on the two of you

it was slightly comical the way you both looked at each other before turning to the audience with shy smiles

wonwoo stood behind you the rest of the time on stage

when it came time to leave, he offered you his arm as you stepped off the stage

with a bright smile his way, you accepted and walked off together

fans nearly had a heart attack

since then, people would point out almost every interaction between the two of you

if you would be in the same room and happen to make eye contact

during a game competition, you two get paired up together, and safe to say, you demolish the rest of the teams

wonwoo is an extremely smart man, and as are you a smart person, and after the episode airs, fans make memes on how you both make a dangerous and powerful duo

you were both quick to devise a plan, hushed whispers in the few seconds you had together, his shoulders shielding you from the rest of the room from where you both stood

your mics caught your plan clearly, and fans were impressed by how in sync you both were

he worked with distracting other people, making it seem like he was the one they should look out for

however it was you who gathered information and the hidden objects you were supposed to find to complete your mission

in the end, not only were you both able to complete your mission, but you were also able to hide the other object other groups were supposed to find, making it near impossible for them to find

the prize you both won was a coupon to a nearby cafe

it was adorable the way you both cheered in excitement for the coupon, wonwoo even raising your hands clasped together in the air in celebration

you would have thought that you both couldn’t afford your own coffees with the way you both cheered

the video ended with vlog footage of you both walking to the cafe

you held the camera in your hands facing you as you both walked to the location, camera tilted up to capture wonwoo in the frame

fans were surprised to see the way that wonwoo joked with you and tugged on the end of your hair to catch your attention to point to a billboard with your group in it

he took the camera from you to capture a shot of you smiling and posing in front of the billboard

when you took the camera from him, you also made him pose in front of the billboard, which was comical since you couldn’t see much of his face due to his hat and mask, but he did make a peace sign when posing to amuse you

he opened the door for you and stood behind you in line, even crouching down slightly in order to hear your answer when he asked what you were going to order

when it was your turn to order, he walked forward to place your orders before handing the cashier the coupon you both worked hard for

wonwoo even paid for the difference despite you trying to pay, and he stepped in front of you to block your way from the pin pad

you both sat down at a small table in the corner of the cafe side by side so you could both be in frame, and you rated the coffees you had bought

you weren’t the biggest fan of your own coffee, stating that it was slightly too bitter, and he was quick to switch out your straws and give you his cup

the video ended with you both waving goodbye, and safe to say, the video was trending for a week

when you posted a selfie together after the episode aired, it quickly became your most liked image on instagram

wonwoo also posted a different picture of you together standing back to back with your arms crossed

he captioned it “partner in crime”

you commented “dream team”

other svt members would comment under your posts demanding a rematch and wondering how they won

wonwoo would comment the shrugging emoji in response 🤷🏻‍♂️

you once post a picture if you out in the city

a few days later wonwoo posts a picture taken of him holding a camera, and fans were quick to notice the similar locations you were both in

when at other music events, there was footage of you waving to him from your seats with your group, and him shyly waving back

later when he walks with the rest of svt on the red carpet, fans notice him wearing a ring with the top facing in, and it’s not until he waves that people capture your initial on it

on your birthday when you post a clip of someone recording you with a cake while people sing happy birthday, fans swear they can hear wonwoo’s voice singing amongst the rest

one day you post the cutest kitten on your instagram page, showing your fans how you recently adopted a cat

a few months later, wonwoo posts a selfie of the same colored cat, only slightly bigger, sitting on top of an open book (presumably the one he was reading)

fans once spot you both visiting a bookstore and they just about died when they saw you walk out with the same book

at times, sometimes wonwoo is spotted exiting your company building while other times you are exiting his

fans are waiting for the collab tbh

you are both extremely private people, and any interactions you have together publicly has fans eating it UP

rumors of your potential relationship are all anyone talks about leading up to major events where both your groups will be attending

wonwoo surprisingly is the one to confirm the rumors two years later when he posts a mirror selfie of the two of you on your birthday with a simple cake emoji

in which wonwoo and reader have more cute moments together in public that send fans into a frenzy

a/n: thank you soooo much for the love the other wonwoo x idol!reader received, it meant the world <3 this could be seen as a part two but it can also be read as a standalone! lmk what you think and pls like and reblog <3

talk about a power couple

the first time that you both get spotted at the airport, there was a mass surge of people and paparazzi trying to capture the perfect shot of you

not only did you have bodyguards form a circle around you both to separate you from the crowds, but the airport security also had to step in and provide another barrier

there were still video footage of wonwoo holding your hand and leading you out at a brisk pace as he followed the bodyguards in front of him

fans couldn’t handle the fact that you both wore matching bucket hats to the airport

there is also footage of him waiting for you to get into the car and away from the paparazzi's eyes before stepping in after you

since his Instagram post that confirmed your relationship, people have been all the more eager to capture moments of you both together publically

there was one day when there were pictures leaked of you both at the park, seemingly towards the end of a picnic date

in defense of you both, you had been at a park that was slightly more secluded and you had been in a corner under a tree

and you had both been wearing masks, but that did not deter fans from being able to recognize you

however, in the pictures, you were both sitting above a picnic blanket, and wonwoo was leaning against the tree that was providing you both with shade

you had your head lying on his lap as you spoke animatedly with your hands, and his own hands were playing with the ends of your hair as he listened to your story

there was another picture of where he was tugging you up from under your arms until your upper body rested on his own and he was hugging you from behind

lastly, there was a short video of you both still in the same position, looking around quickly (yet missing the camera facing in your direction) before removing your masks for a quick selfie

fans begged and pleaded under your posts for you to upload the selfie, but for now, they will have to deal with the grainy footage of you and wonwoo

you were known to tease your fans, so the day you posted a picture of the picnic, it being of the blanket with all the cute food set up, inadvertently confirming you knew about the picnic fiasco, people lost their minds

wonwoo was right behind you posting an instagram story of the sky, covered by the greenery of a very familiar tree...

at award shows, the dynamic between you two is very much similar to how it was before you started dating

you still sit with your respective groups, however, cameras are very much so watching for any and all interactions

especially how the corner of his lips quirk up when you send a bright smile his way

or how he slightly bows his head when your group walks by to approach the stage

whenever your group wins an award, cameras be damned, this man stands to applaud you

(this also prompts the rest of svt to join)

(you have some very enthusiastic cheerleaders thanks to him)

don't worry, he also gets the same treatment from you when svt receives a reward

you are one of the first people on your feet with your hands cupped around your mouth as you cheer along with the rest of the audience

cameras capture your adorable reaction to the win, projecting it on the big screen, and how your group members also join you in cheering

svt members (soonyoung and seokmin) copy your cheering and jumping on stage while seungcheol is giving their acceptance speech

wonwoo has to nudge them to calm down but he has a small grin on his face as he slightly bows in your direction

when walking past each other, you both smile at each other, and the cameras absolutely go OFF when he quickly interlocks his pinky with yours before continuing in opposite directions

despite being a very private person, this man is extremely down bad

when you perform, his eyes do not leave the stage, even leaning forward slightly to catch a better look

is always the first to stand to applaud after your performance

fans always await a photo from the event (especially if you both), and you deliver with a simple picture of both of your dress shoes from the event

when both of your groups have a comeback around the same time, people are begging for a dance collab

especially when other svt members collab with other members form your group

almost all the comments are asking for wonwoo and you

the day that your dance collab drops is the day that your fans will keep replaying

it very quickly became your most watched and liked tiktok video on both of your pages

anytime one of your groups were mentioned, the dance collab was to be mentioned as well

pretty sure it changed the trajectory of some people's lives

he’s the big spoon in the relationship

he just loves to cuddle you from behind

if you’re watching a movie? just know it’ll end with him pressed up against your back in the couch

are you hanging out with friends? you can bet that he’s holding you against his chest with your back pressed to him as he converses with his friends

it’s not even in a possessive manner that he does it, not at all, he just likes to feel you close to him

if you’re not laying across his chest while you’re sleeping, you WILL wake up to him pressed against you with his face pressed into the back of your neck

and yes, this happens even when you’re fighting and you decide to sleep in the guest room

expect to wake up in the middle of the night to shuffling and the covers being lifted from behind you as he moves to lay beside you

“cheol, what are you doing? it’s late”

“i couldn’t sleep, scoot over” he mumbles in a hoarse tone

you’re too tired to go against him so you move over to the side to make room for him

“but what about-“

“we’ll talk in the morning, sleep” he says as he hugs you from behind

when he’s touring, before going to bed he will facetime you and you can see where he’s holding a pillow against him similarly to the way he holds you

despite the time differences and the fact that he’s probably exhausted from a long day, he will still always call to ask how your day went/is even if he’s half mumbling it into his pillow

also a huge gift giver

even the smallest things you mentioned once in passing he’ll remember and make sure to gift it to you

this also applies to stuff he owns

if you mentioned about how comfy his hoodie looks, he somehow mysteriously left it at your place and totally forgot about it

he also likes to kiss you every morning as you walk about the door for work

even if he’s tired as heck from the day before, he will follow you out to the door all sleepily and wish you luck on your day and send you off with a kiss

if he’s not there to physically do it, he will call/text you during the time when you usually do leave to say goodbye

a/n: looks like i’m going to do a mini series of my delulu thoughts for each member, lmk if you are interested in being tagged? this one is more of an imagine than a headcannon? idk it’s more plot based haha, expect this one to be random

best friends to lovers trope?

joshua is just so…*sigh*

this man is just so dreamy and kind and aND AND

i for some reason get childhood best friends vibes from him, or someone that you have a deep and long past with

he’s just someone who has overall been there for you for the longest time, and yes he’s an idol now and all the more busy, but he will always make time for you

the realization that came to you regarding your feelings was one day that you were feeling down

joshua was there for you, as always, and doing what he does best which is give you advice and to comfort you

he sat next to you on the kitchen floor, and after you had calmed down enough, he asked you if it was okay if he could hug you

that is how you ended up on his lap, which was not something new to you due to your long lasting friendship

but his words of soft encouragement and the way he rubbed your back and petted the crown of your head felt so endearing

it was easy to get lost in his arms as he continued to do the soothing gestures and would occasionally murmur into your hairline how much you meant to him followed by a soft kiss there

you both had never shied away from affection, so one again, this wasn’t something out of the ordinary

“you carry too much weight on your plate sometimes, how long have you been feeling like this?” he would whisper into your hair

“for a while now”

he pulled back slightly to look at your face, and his lips turned down slightly and his eyes softened at the sad expression on your face

“you can always count on me to help you carry that weight” he says as he wiped your tears with his thumb

“but it’s not yours to-”

“no, i want you to be able to come to me for anything”

his gaze was so sincere and that overall brought a new wave of emotion causing you to wobbly smile at him through a new set of tears

that was the day that you realized that joshua meant more to you than the longtime best friend he’s always been to you

things continue as normal as they can be with your newfound realization

you both still meet up for lunch every other weekday, depending on if he’s free and if he can meet you during your lunch hour at your workplace

he always brings food with him, don’t even try arguing with him about it

the receptionists are already very familiar with his presence at your workplace as he greets them with a smile, and they can’t help but swoon

as he meets you in your office, you hastily clean up your work area as he takes containers out of the bags of the meal he brought

will open your containers for you and prep them with all necessary sides and utensils

also always brings a straw for you that he quickly plops into your drink that he opened for you

it’s not an abnormal sight for someone to walk into your office to drop off something and see him feed you the first bite of his food with his chopsticks

he just likes to take care of you

when at the bar, he will watch the bartender to make sure your drink gets done correctly and that it’s safe for you

yes he’s listening to you ramble about your day at work, but he’s keeping an eye on your drink

you both often take sips of each others drinks

will often pull you to his side and wrap his arm around your shoulders as you converse with friends

the members are used to your displays of affection, so forehead kisses are not at all new to them

what is new is the small kiss joshua places under your ear after a good amount of drinks

and then the few more that joshua places on the corner of your lips as the night progresses

soonyoung has to be pulled away when he gets noticeably excited

fans also knew about your existence as one of joshua’s long time friends

however they do have a field day when pictures of you both grocery shopping surface

in one of which joshua is pictured pushing a shopping cart while you read a list

in another picture where you’re laughing at an expression joshua pulled

and then lastly there’s a video where joshua pecks you on the lips after you toss in what is known to be his favorite snack into the shopping cart

you both never publicly confirm anything, but you are featured more often in the background of his instagram posts with members

fans particularly loved the one photo he posted at the end of a series of multiple random photos

you were on the last slide holding one half of a popsicle stick, and you were looking at the ground dejectedly where the other half of your frozen popsicle was melting

he captioned the post “summer favorites ❤️”

well kinda, but more soft?

i do believe that jun would be more carefree with giving with his affection toward you

the switch between being friends to a relationship was pretty seamless between both of you

your friends only caught on that you had taken the next step was that you were both now exchanging kisses in greeting instead of the regular side hugs

jun is so sweet when it comes to take care of you

if he’s the first to wake up, expect there to be some sort of breakfast for you being made, whether or not it’s a piece of toast is not the question (it’s the thought that counts)

when you both began sleeping in the same bed long before you became a couple, you invested in a sleeping mask for him

you had the scare of a lifetime when you turned to your side and were face to face with him sleeping with his eyes open

immediately, the first thing you did the next day was buy a sleeping mask for him djdjkd

he just laughed at you

if you wear his shirts to bed, i can imagine him putting on an article of clothing of yours, no matter how it looks on him

he WILL strike a pose or two

he’s just so silly sometimes really

this man always knows how to make you laugh

i imagine him being the PERFECT wedding date

he will be the first to suggest matching outfits

will buy you that one accessory that you stared at a second too long without a doubt

he is nothing but a gentleman to all your relatives

the kids in the wedding LOVEEE HIM

he is not afraid to get his clothes dirty while he lets your younger cousins chase him across the field

always comes back to you though

sits as close as your chairs will allow during the dinner

and slow dances with you

you can bet all your money that everyone wants a dance with him (you’re proven right when even the bride asks for a dance with him) (he gives you one of these looks •_•)

he is totally the type to teach you phrases in languages that you don’t know

however, he does trick you with a few curse words here and there but that’s like a given with learning any language

one of my favorite things ever about jun is that despite how silly and goofy he can be, he is just so caring too??

i could see him being the type to stay up with you while you finish up on a paper, regardless of how tired he is from being in the dance studio

whenever he’s away for work, he always makes sure to bring you a souvenir from wherever he goes as well as his favorite snacks from that place

fans are familiar with you already because he’s not too worried about keeping your relationship a secret

i mean he has a picture of the two of you as his lock screen for goodness sake HAHA

when it comes to his turn for his speech after his members at an event, he keeps it simple with a “this is for you, i love you”

fans went CRAZYYY for the way he smiled at the camera (sheesh me too tho)

fans have had a few interactions with you when they run into you in public, and they always say how you’re so nice and how you would even offer to take a picture of them with jun

(jun was flabbergasted when fans then asked him if he could take a picture of them with you (he obvi happily did so, even suggested group selfie of all of you))

(the picture went viral)

on your birthday, he buys you the cutest small cake that is enough for the both of you

and he wakes you up by singing happy birthday as he carries the cake in

it becomes a tradition to begin birthdays with eating cake for breakfast together in bed

that i’m actually 5’0” instead of 4’11” like i thought i was (yes, i know i’m short but the fact that i’m taller than i thought i was is still amazing to me LOL)

i’m very hardworking, like if you’ve seen how i am at my workplace (it’s retail), i’m practically running marathons in the store trying to provide excellent customer service and making sure the actual store floors don’t look like crap (by zoning which is basically cleaning/organizing).

my love for reading has been reignited by poetry, which i have indulged in by buying a bunch of books. i’ve been steadily reading and appreciating all of them! faves thus far are by barbara jane reyes, jennifer perrine, and tess taylor.

how my clothing style varies between moods and locations, so obviously work is gonna be a little more laidback and appropriate to what i do (think jeans, scoop neck shirts, and sometimes flannels if it’s cold); i also like to wear cute crop tops and high-waisted jeans or shorts when i go out to concerts or to the mall with friends; and, in general, i just love wearing things that are comfy for me but still look cute! very chill dad mixed with cute mom ‘fits if that makes any sense.

i’m easy to talk to! i prefer to listen but i really thrive off being around people. hence, why i am an extrovert.
