Picture this: I'm attending a business conference in Arizona and there's a largish group of people from the Netherlands there. I get invited to dinner with them because they saw my last name is Dutch, so here we are, 14 Nederlanders in a Spanish/American beer bar, all speaking Dutch, and it's revealed one of the guys has a birthday and he claims he's never embarrassed. Ever.
So we start singing Lang Zal Ze Leven very loudly, complete with hip hip hoeras. Just, in the middle of everyone's conversations. And then because he didn't seem phased, we also did Happy Birthday in English, and by the time the waiter came out with a pastry with a lit candle stuck in the tip he was getting a bit red i the face.
Anyway, gefeliciteerd, hope your day went as well as that guy's.
Omg I totally missed this when u sent this but this was such a nice story hahaha
And thank you!!! 🤩🤩 I had a really awesome day with family and friends it was good ^_^

A dystopian disaster movie, live
By Caitlin Summerson // 11th March 2019
Predetermined fate vs free will. Utopia vs dystopia. Human vs androids. Red vs white.
As you enter the theatre hall, the show has already begun. The stage is set, a dozen actors are already present on stage, clad in identical clean, almost clinical overcoats. They all bear a flashing LED square on their left breast, worn like a shared coat of arms of whatever universe we have just stepped into. There is music playing too, a repetitive, upbeat country-style tune, quickening in pace as more theatre goers find their seats. It is coming from a small ensemble located in a raised section to the back of the stage, open to the audience, purposefully visible. There is a tall brightly lit column to the right of the stage, perched atop is a lone actor. The lights go out.
What we encounter when the light returns is a thoroughly intense but absolutely stunning dystopian masterpiece. It is Guy Wieszman’s latest spectacular production ‘Brave New World 2.0’, performed by the Noord Nederlands Toneel Group. It is a glorious fusion of The Hunger Games, Black Mirror, A Handmaid’s Tale and In TIme. You will notice here that I am comparing it to multiple big screen productions, afterall, film is my forte, however this is because I have simply never seen anything like this on the stage before. It elevates theatrical elements in an unfamiliar but breathtaking way, so much so that I could not peel my eyes away from the action for the duration of the performance, and it is pretty long (over two hours, no interval). It had me completely enthralled, and I am by no means a theatre junkie, I left pleasantly surprised by how it managed to capture my complete attention, and it’s grip was tight.
The plot is layered and complex, but even with the mixture of Dutch and English speech I was never left behind. ‘Brave New World 2.0’ shows us perhaps a not so distant future, one in which humanity has been divided into two groups, separated by that brightly it column I mentioned earlier, that throughout the performance fluidly moves across the stage, a simple but dynamic set design that blew me away. On one side is the red zone, inhabited by humans who have been declared useless within this new society fuelled by efficiency, their existence is bleak and brutal but they are truly free. On the other is the white zone, a mecca of performance and productivity, populated by workers, some human and some programmed ‘androids’. The play brilliantly explores the struggle between humanity and technology, between genuine connection and artificial progress, between work and freedom. It will definitely make you think about our present world, and undoubtedly question our future. What does it mean to be human? What does it take to be happy? What does the future hold?
‘Brave New World 2.0’ is on tour until May 18th 2019. It is definitely an intense ride but one I would fully recommend you take.

BlueLab pH Doser Controller Connect
BlueLab pH Doser Controller Connect:
Wireless Control with BlueLab pH Doser Connect Controller
Buying BlueLab pH Doser Controller
The pH level in marijuana plants determines the acidity of the soil. Ideally, it should be within 5.0-7.0. However, many growers experience difficulty keeping it that way.
Meters, nutrients, and even the water used for marijuana plants can affect the pH level. For that reason, growers need to take constant measurements and monitor. If the reading is not accurate, it might prove too difficult to solve problems that arise and mistakenly assume the cause is something else.
BlueLab pH Doser Controller Connect takes away that concern and the trouble of keeping tabs. It measures the pH levels of the reservoir and adjusts it if needed. Using the Connect Stick, growers can view, control and analyze the pH range on the go.
Wireless Control with BlueLab pH Doser Connect Controller
Keeping the pH at an ideal level is extremely important. When done so, plants are less likely to experience leaf problems. There are also lesser chances of nutrient deficiencies. In the right range, it improves the uptake of nutrients and helps increase the growth rate. Because it is a cumbersome task, there is a necessity for a device that could make it easy and convenient for marijuana growers.
Not only does the BlueLab pH Doser Controller Connect monitor pH levels 24/7, but it also can make adjustments by mixing pH Up or pH Down.
Key Features:
Automatic maintenance of the pH level with wireless data capabilities
Built-in safety features
Plant Safe LCD
Automatic Maintenance of the pH Level with Wireless Data Capabilities
This is perfect for growers who are always away from home. Apart from monitoring and controlling the pH level, the controller also collects data from the reservoir. It works well for home growers but it can also do the job for commercial growers as its capacity is 760 liters.
After purchasing the unit, growers can download a special software and use it to access real time data of the reservoir. Particularly, this is useful if one is spending extended time away from the plants. Or, in the case of commercial growers with massive reservoirs, it affords the convenience of not have to go from one area to the other.
Paired with the Connect Stick, growers can make manual adjustments over Internet.
Built-In Safety Features
Because the controller allows growers to leave the premise, Bluelab designed it to have several safety features. These includes:
Flashing high/low alarm with control lockouts
Dosing lockouts.to protect from over-dosing
Water resistant with wall mount design
Auto resume dosing on restart after power loss
Plant Safe LCD
Every unit comes with an LCD display with green back light. It is specifically designed to have no ill effects on the plants or interfere with the light cycle.
The onscreen instructions make it easy for new unit owners to navigate its control and operation. From meter calibration to continuous operation and adjustments, it does not take long for one to master how it works.
Buying BlueLab pH Doser Controller
BlueLab pH Doser Controller Connect is available at Growers House for only $424.68. At this price range and considering its benefits, it is affordable. On necessity, some may feel it is invaluable while others think of it as a luxury. It all depends on some factors. For example, a busy person who constantly have to leave the plants could use the automation.
As for commercial growers, the controller works with reservoirs up to 760 liters capacity. It may not be too obvious to many personal growers, but the data collected is invaluable for businesses. Through the info gathered, troubleshooting and further optimizing the feeding schedule and other factors that affect the pH level of the nutrient solution can be achieved.
For the upmost convenience, the Connect Stick available separately at $109.68 makes it possible for manual control and adjustments using the Internet.
Of the many things that growers do for the love of the plants, maintaining pH level is one of the most tiresome. After changing water or replenishing nutrients, this level fluctuates. And, to make matters worse, it takes hours to stabilize. Having the BlueLab pH Doser Controller takes away the hassle. And, during times when one has to be away, rest assured there is a controller that is taking care of the plants and ensuring its healthy growth.
The pH Doser Controller Advantages
Local and cloud data logging capability using the free Bluelab Connect software
Adjust controller settings using a PC via Bluelab Connect software
