founders' era; serpens slytherin

the eldest child and only son of salazar slytherin and his wife esilia, serpens was brought up to some day inherit his father's wealth and power. he was known to be kinder than his father, though no less lethal in battle. serpens enjoyed reading histories and writing down the story of his family. unfortunately, a lot of his writings were destroyed when the goldcrest family was expunged from the history of the wizarding world.

Fun mental scenario for you to laugh about:

The Dads get separated into pairs and have to do increasingly dumb things to reunite. Leon and Linebeck are stuck together tied to a log about to go over a waterfall like The Emperor’s New Groove. Age’s Dad and Rusl have to use kazoos to play a specific melody to unlock a door and they’re both tone deaf and can’t kazoo their way out of a paper bag. Benji and Kass, who would rock that puzzle, are instead stuck in a gladiator match with monsters and have to fight their way out and Benji’s Unbreakable Guitar has a 100 monster kill streak by now. Talon’s sleeping at camp because he’s the only one who didn’t see the magical doorway to the crazy dungeon so he just wakes up alone and is like “where did everybody go…?”

Gosh I think about them splitting up SO MUCH and yeah shenanigans with happen. AND YEAH Talon can and will sleep through anything. It’s how he deals with stress. In fact he sleeps a lot here. The others feel bad for him so they just let him sleep lol.

AND I LOVE everyone doing puzzles that they would struggle with. Rusl and Age’s dad being tone deaf is HYSTERICAL. And Benji and Kass can both fight but they’re def not swordsmen so they’ll have to go full on manic to survive. And yeah Leon and Linebeck being in a normal adventure is just funny as it is cuz Leon has no patience for him and Linebeck is scared of nature and it’ll be soooo funny heheheh.

I thought I was really funny for calling the Ark Spaceship the Maria Celeste in a historical AU I'm working on, and tried to explain the joke to my boyfriend but apparently I don't know anything about boats and my history sucks, why do men ruin everything with their facts and logic that don't care about my feelings?
