The one thing I really wished happened in EXU's Kymal was for Opal to ask the Spider Queen why she chose to become a betrayer god. I get why it didn't happen. There was a lot going with only a couple of episodes to do it.

Still, it would have been a cool place for Aabria and Aimee to explore these characters and what they would think about that choice she made so long ago

The video opens on a shot of Aabria, Matt and Brennan sitting in green velvet chairs on the 4 Sided Dive set. There is a table in front of them and each has a tablet and cup in front of them on said table. They are all squinting slightly. 

Matt: “What’s next on the thing?”

Aabria: “Yeah. Okay, I like –” To Brennan – “Do you want to ask this?” 

Brennan: “Yeah I’ll ask – I got this.”

All of them squinting at the monitors which are off camera

Aabria: “We gotta stop squinting so hard. We’re just like” – she squints exaggeratedly – “This is natural.

Matt: “Yeah, put on my glasses.”

Matt mimes putting glasses on as he leans forward 

Aabria: “I will put mine back on. I can’t see for shit y’all. Huh?”

Matt as he laughs: “Well oiled machine.” 

Brennan is sitting on the edge of his chair and looking concerned as he squints at the off camera monitor again 

Brennan in an exaggerated voice: “Matt.”

Aabria explodes into laughter and Matt also laughs 

Matt: “Yeah, brother?” 

The camera zooms in so only Brennan is in the shot and he wipes his forehead while breathing heavily

Aabria: “Oh, no.”

Brennan: “Oh god, I’m blacking out.”

Matt off camera: “Drink some water, it’s fine.”

The camera zooms out slightly so that Matt and Brennan are both in the shot. Brennan lifts his cup with an exaggerated shakiness before setting it back down. 

Brennan: “Just more coffee. Never had water a day in my life.” 

The camera now shows all three of them in the shot again.

Aabria as she raises her hands in the air in excitement: “Yes!”

Brennan: “What were some of the –” 

Matt cuts in: “That’s what catheters are for.” 

Brennan lifts his leg and rests one ankle on his opposite knee in a mirror pose of how Matt is sitting. The camera is now solely on the two of them

Brennan: “Matt?”

Matt: “Yes, Brennan?”

Brennan in an almost sing-song tone: “What were some of your inspirations for Exandria?” 

The camera shifts to showing just Matt and Aabria who are laughing hard, Aabria trying not to spit out whatever she just took a drink of.
