Just a bit of Fabina brainrot about how they’re good for each other and stuff.

Let’s start with the easy and obvious, How supportive Fabian is of Nina. From the beginning, even before he really knows her, he reaches out and is kind when she needs it. He then spends the rest of the next two seasons, being there when she needs it.

He is the one who convinces her not to quit in season one. He doesn’t let her deal with Senkara alone (neither does Amber, but discussing how knowing Nina/being in Sibuna changed Fabian, Amber, Alfie, and Patricia for the better will probably be a entire post). He stands up for her against his friends (Patricia season one and Joy season two) in a way he struggles to do for himself.

Fabian is always there for Nina. He’s by her side, ready to catch her when she falls. He is her rock. And I could probably find countless more examples from the show, but I think this song that Brad Kavanagh wrote as Fabian for Nina, makes a good third example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV9q5xVL1fY, and also I want to move on to Nina being good for Fabian.

I think the show spends less time on how Nina helps Fabian, how she supports him. He is her rock, but she helps him be brave, and encourages him to be himself in a way I don’t think anyone else does.

Fabian is perhaps one of the bravest characters, but almost every act of bravery he does in the first two seasons he does because of Nina. And in season three he continues to be brave, yet he started as Stutter Rutter.

He easily stands up for Nina from the start, but it takes him time to be able to to it for himself. But over the course of season two, he goes from mangling his feelings to being able to plainly state his feelings, and getting to be the one who starts the conversation and confessions. And by the start of season three, because of Nina, Fabian is finally able to set proper boundaries with Joy.

Now this has mostly been what Fabian learns to do for/because of Nina, but she does also support him and love him back. When she calls him “a word nerd” in season two, she clearly does it with love and affection. When she calls him a nerd, it’s meant as a good thing. As far as I can remember, literally everyone else in the show who calls him a nerd, does it derogatorily. Everyone else teases Fabian for being a nerd, but it’s one of the things that Nina loves about him.

And my next point is more implied/head canon, but she also encourages him with his music. Fabian starts the show, being embarrassed/hiding his playing and singing from others. Later in season one we can see him comfortably playing for Nina, and by season two he’s playing for others in a proper performance. And actually besides that performance, I don’t think I recall him letting anyone other that Nina listen to him play. She encourages and supports him in his hobbies and helps him gain confidence in them/himself.

They’re just really good together and I think it’s really easy to see Fabian always being there for Nina, and that it can be harder to see how she’s there for him. 

These thoughts may have also started from thinking about a fanfic idea for them in the future where they’re together, and Nina is dealing with Chosen One bullshit and trying to examine what Nina gives back to Fabian in their relationship and how it would be healthy and good, and why they’re my OTP from all media.

somethings to say about the Nina tribute video:

i originally planned on her video maybe being 5 minutes long

def was not my plan to have a 15 minute video. (14:50 if you wanna get technical)

and im STILL missing the uncut version (yep there's more!)

but im honestly okay with it bc well the thing about nina is that she had SO much going on:

navigating a new school and residence, dodging false accusations from an angry girl, meeting this mysterious woman that sends her on a quest, becoming the de-facto leader of a new group and people looking to her for what to do next, sarah dying, hearing voices around the house, thinking she may be going insane, rufus zeno threatening not just her life but her friends’ lives as well, learning she’s the chosen one and assembling a magical cup all in less than five minutes, an evil spirit threatening her life and now her bf’s life and now her friends’ and grandmother’s life unless she finds some mystical mask in a set of tunnels under the house, accidentally hexing her friends leading to alfie regressing to a child and baby; and amber aging to a very scary point, choosing to put on the mask of anubis in order to save her friends and gran’s lives which meant her going into the field of rushes and just flat out die basically. all the while deal with romance drama and joy’s villain era.

so to put all of that in a five minute video would not suffice it nor do her justice

power of the mind is and always will be a nina song, it was the first song i picked out for her and i just think it really fits her

like the first song is mainly her introduction, the most important bits like meeting sarah, getting the locket, her parallels to sarah and her ingenuity as well as smarts and recklessness too, just her character overall and then we slowly moved to chosen one stuff in the next song and then senkhara's hold over her as well as why she wants the mask after that

i didnt show a lot of rufus going down bc it's nina's story to tell, rufus is a whole other thing and at the end, i really tried to focus on nina specifically

that being said, it does end with fabian (and amber) missing her, the last bit of her being the hand written letter (not the locket, that's another thing entirely) i wanted to focus on something nina did rather than what she was given

i used imovie for the software, dont really have anything to say about it bc its free for me so i dont really know other video editing software *shrug*

the penultimate song (the way by zack hemsey) was almost this song called dwell on dreams and i changed it bc it was just too uplifting, like nope, we gotta go down darkness right now

i listened to like eight different songs trying to decide what fit fabina in the end, and i think last kiss by taylor swift really does summarize them in majority, if anyone else has another song please let me know

also a victor video would be fun too but i’d have to go back and record his scenes again bc i was mainly focused on sibuna stuff

at one point nina’s video has over 54 minutes of content. yep. (thats not including the fabina scenes. in total it should come around to an hour and thirteen minutes. yep.)

i just realized while i didnt end up publishing it on July 7th, i managed to get it out there on July 17 which i think is a fun win!

my favorite part of the video is prob when vera asks victor “what is it about that girl? she makes you nervous, decidedly nervous.” i love it, i wished more characters talked about nina and what she can do, like idk rufus or some of the teachers smth like “dont underestimate them. especially nina martin.” and shit.

like for example in the s1 ending for HHA victor’s on the phone w the real bad guy or whatever, and he’s asking who’s responsible for all this shit and victor answers, “Her name… is Nienke. Nienke Martens.” or smth like that i cant remember

the next video is Alfie’s and i hope his does remain with five minutes bc the song i have for him is perfect and unlike Nina he does have one direct line of evolution from class clown to traumatized to untrustworthy sibuna to brave sibuna, proving to us and to his friends but most importantly to himself that he’s the bravest sibuna no matter what.

alternate universe: the anubis kids never go to boarding school, how would you picture them meeting? how would the couples get together (esp peddie and fabina/nina&amber [whichever you want] since they're like oceans away) ? would they even meet as teens or when they're older?

ok i’m just going to do this as a no-magic/mystery au because the logistics of s3 make my head hurt otherwise lol

I think it’s safe to assume patricia&joy live near-ish to each other, as do (from 3x01) mara&jerome. given alfie’s parent’s familiarities with jerome + the fact they offered him an (presumably in-person) internship, we can also assume alfie&jerome also live near each other. at the very least, we know mara jerome and alfie are all within a days travel to the school because their parents have come/they’ve visited their parents while in school.

anyways maybe the twins and alfie (and maybe the others) get put in the same baby music class and their moms become friends while palfie gets in trouble for something or the other and that’s where that friendship starts as well. so that’s how these 5 end up meeting and becoming friends although probably not as close as a group as they were in the house just cuz they’re not all at the same school or same area. basically they’re all family friends at first but grow closer over time.

mick and amber probably get sent to some fancy school by their dads at around age 11/12 and fabian and mara are there on scholarship and somehow the four of them become friends due to seating arrangements/tutoring time/screw stereotypes. mara introduces them to the others at some point, the guys immediately invite mick and fabian into their group and while the girls take a little while to warm up to each other, they’re all good friends by the time they go off to uni.

mick actually goes to UCLA for that sports program thing the summer after s2 in canon (cuz he’s not switching trainers randomly this time and actually gets in) but books his flight so he first goes to newark before LAX. meanwhile eddie and his mom are on the same flight for a vacation and they sit next to each other. (ms miller originally had the middle seat but eddie actually gives up his window halfway through the flight so he and mick can chat while she sleeps.) mick ends up tagging along to the rest of their vacation after his program is over. however mick probably doesn’t introduce eddie to the others (although he talks about him constantly) because, you know, the ocean. they may all friend each other on chumchatter though

meanwhile, the premise of this is the same (minus the mystery). nina and kt meet at the hospital or something and become friends. i can’t think of a situation where kt and/or nina meet eddie before someone else in the group (amber?) introduces them but maybe that happens idk.

nina and amber are easy—amber will still end up in fashion school in new york (less forcefully this time); nina’ll probably be near/in nyc for uni because she’ll still want to pursue something creative (i say screenplay writer, another popular hc is author) and it’s fairly close-ish to her gran (same time zone at least). so they’ll bump into each other there, although honestly without school to force them near each other all the time, they may not even become close until they both become super famous in their respective worlds and start seeing each other at events and such, and i’m not sure if they’ll ever develop past just being besties. which is absolutely fine because their friendship is my favorite thing in the world anyway 🥰

if namber doesn’t happen, fabina may have a chance—amber introduces them, they discover a mutual interest in ancient history, and since they’re adults with proper communication skills, everything works out.

peddie is a little weird. i assume eddie will still get sent to the uk to visit his dad before what was s2 in-canon and they may bump into each other there, esp if sweet decides to take eddie sightseeing or something (idk how far away patricia lives from the school and stuff). or maybe he comes a little later, visits mick, and him and patricia meet then, although it’s probably too short of a time for patricia to actually catch feelings. i think it’ll be more likely that patricia goes to the US either for grad school or maybe to see her world-renowned sister perform at carnegie or something like that. either way, she ends dragged to a club one night and stays in her own corner ppl-watching and eddie’s there and (of his own volition, no bets involved) he’s like “you’re the only one not dancing” and that’s where it starts.

Nina couldn't remember when this started being a reoccurrence. That just before lights out, Fabian would come to her room even if they didn't have a clue to solve at the moment. Sometimes, they would study or do homework. Other times, Fabian would bring his guitar and Nina would pretend that it didn't put some sort of spell over her by making it look like she was engrossed in a book.

Tonight was one of those nights.

They were pretty much at a dead end in the search for the cup. And as much as Nina hated to admit it, sometimes the best remedy for that was to take a step back and breathe.

She wasn't always the best at it still. Because even as she sat on her bed looking over one of her magazines while Fabian gently strummed his guitar, thoughts about the cup were floating in the back of her mind.

Maybe "back of her mind" was an understatement, because she hadn't even realized that Fabian stopped playing and was facing her with a look of concern until his voice broke her out of whatever trance she was in.

"Either that wall is super fascinating or you're thinking about the cup again seeing as you've been staring at it since I've stopped playing. Penny for your thoughts?" Fabian teases with that bright-wide smile of his as he moves to set his guitar off to the side. Nina smiles, letting out a small laugh, as she shifts her position to make room for him next to her. He accepted the unheard invitation and finds solace with touching shoulders.

"That obvious, huh?" She stalls a moment and Fabian nods slightly signaling that whatever she's thinking, it's ok to say aloud. Nina thinks that's one of the things she loves most about Fabian; his ability to read between her lines.

"It's just that--do you ever wonder if I'm doing the right thing? Letting the others, letting you, get involved? I mean everything we've already been through, you, me, amber..it's been so much. What if the stakes just keep getting higher and higher? Then what? Am I just supposed to let you and Amber, even Patricia and Alfie, to keep putting your lives at risk?" Nina takes a breath that she didn't realize she was holding.

"Hey, no don't talk like that," Fabian begins softly, moving an arm around Nina's shoulder, her head instantly gravitating to the crook of his neck.

"You're not letting us do anything. We volunteered. And we volunteered because I--" Fabian clears his throat. Nina pretends not to notice. "we all care about you. I can't say much for the others, but I know for a fact that if it came down to it I'd put my life at risk for you." Nina lifts her head at his confession, turning to face him. Suddenly, every from of the English language, internal and external, was removed from her entire being.

No one has ever been there for her like that. Not like Fabian. It wasn't like she was exactly alone back in America. She had her gran. She had a few close friends and acquaintances from school. But, nothing that compared to what Nina had with Fabian, whatever the label was.

"Wow, Fabian, I--that really means a lot. Thank you," She states quietly, allowing herself to look just a bit longer into his warm hazel eyes. Fabian's smile follows suit and if Nina wasn't so wrapped up on how his eyes seemed to sparkle the same as his smile, she might've realized that there was a gravitational pull between the two of them happening at that very moment. A pull that was getting tighter and tighter, closer and closer. So close that if either of them moved an inch more they would be practically--

"It is ten o'clock! You have 5 minutes precisely and then I want to hear a pin drop!"

Nina feels her cheeks become warm as both her and Fabian jump up from the bed, their eyes looking anywhere, but at each other's. Fabian clears his throat. Nina plays with her hair, unsure of what else to do at the moment.

"Well I--I should-i'm gonna-" Fabian moves towards the door, grabbing his guitar in the process.

"yeah me too probably uh---night, Fabian!" Nina hastily replies.

"Night!" And with that Fabian rushes out the door.

Nina lets out a sigh as she plops back down onto her bed as Amber emerges into their room.

"Ok, so either you two had some romantic breakthrough or the house talked to you again and i really hope it's the first one because I can't sleep if the house keeps talking in the middle of the night. Doesn't the house know anything about beauty sleep?"

I felt like Fabian was underused in S3 because he didn't have a clear storyline. I was wondering what you would have done to fix this? Personally, I would have developed a friendship between him and Mara, then their romance would actually make sense. I'd also have tension between him and Eddie throughout due to keeping secrets (Eddie the letter, Fabian regarding Mr. Sweet's involvement with the secret society). I'd also have him and KT as the last two standing in the sinners storyline. Thoughts?

Hi Anon,

Thanks for your great question! I totally agree that the writers didn’t use Fabian well in Season 3. His plot basically boiled down to missing Nina and being their research supplying plot device. If we were keeping with their decision to write Nina out in such an awful way, I feel like his insistence that there was no Sibuna without Nina would lead him to try and befriend those who were not “in the know”. Having him befriend Mara early on in the season would have been super cute and would have provided an opportunity for their relationship to develop naturally as he would be there to support her through the whole Jerome/Mara/Willow nightmare.

I personally disliked how the writers had Fabian and Eddie move on so quickly from the perceived cheating situation. It just felt really out of character for both of them... Fabian is a very stubborn character who doesn’t take betrayal lightly (for example the situation with Jasper in season 2). While Eddie I feel would be super hurt at the lack of trust and was obviously already upset at being shut out by the Sibunas

Which leads me to my next point... the fact that the existing Sibuna members tried to shut Eddie (and by extension KT) out was so sad. On the one hand I could understand their trained behavior to not let anyone know since that would tip off the adults and place the new person in danger. In this case though, Eddie not knowing about his Father’s horrendous past was not ok. The existing Sibunas should have stepped up and helped him figure out his Osirian powers.

Your idea to to have Fabian (the sole remaining original Sibuna) be the last one standing with KT would have been so poetic. It would have given his character more purpose and expanded upon the character arc that was developing at the end of season 3. That said... I can see why the writers had Eddie and KT as the last standing, since Burkely stepped in to replace the space left by Nathalia.

If I was to write season 3 (picking up from where they left off in season 2) I would have had a Fabina summer break up. Fabian would have stepped up to support Eddie and KT like he did Nina. I would have had him resolve his issues with Joy in a nicer way. His cruelty with her was extremely out of character based off the past two seasons. I would have had him grieve the loss of Amber and delve into the fact that he was the sole remaining original Sibuna. I could see him having a lot of misplaced anger over the abandonment of his closest and longest friends. This would drive him to hang out with Mara around the time she breaks up with Jerome. The fact that he keeps his soul until the final moments would allow him to eventually find closure and move on with Mara. I would also spend part of the season focusing on preparing the students for University. I would have loved to see another Prom scene and discussions of what the characters (particularly Fabian and Mara) want to do after graduation.

Of course, those are just my thoughts regarding Fabian during season 3 in canon. Season 3 in my Tears of Gold Universe will be much different - Evie

Finished S3 of House of Anubis:

Thoughts:

- The season was not as bad, I think I still prefer S1 & S2, not because the originals are in it (i.e. Nina and Amber) but for me in S3 the pacing lagged a bit, it had a rough beginning (the adjustment period of Nina’s exit) but I enjoyed the Descendents bit and the 5 sinners bit. But at times the pacing lagging in between. Whereas S1 & S2, I didn’t feel that way, I was hooked and binging.

- Walfie are cute, I still prefer Amfie though. I know Willow and Alfie are the healthier couple and will more likely work in the long run, but I find Amber and Alfie more entertaining to watch as a fan. The writers put less effort into Willow and Alfie than they did with Willow/Jerome so that’s a shame. Walfie is that couple that I’d want if this was real life, but Amfie I just find more entertaining.

- This season made me really dislike Peddie. And Patricia deserved better. So I loved Peddie in S2, not as much as Fabina, I think that will always be my #1, but I enjoyed them and got why fans like them. Then in S3, they just ruined them, had them break up for no reason and even when they were together they never felt like a couple. And I hated how Patricia - an original character was relegated to a love interest/damsel in distress for most of the season. Like that was her arc for the season. In S2, Peddie was probably more about Patricia, then in S3 it was all about Eddie. Not Patricia. And I honestly just think they split them up so KT could have most of her scenes with Eddie and Peddie splitting up would explain why Eddie isn’t with Patricia or confiding in her all the time.

- So Fabian becoming a Sinner was pure dumbass Fabian, but Sinner Fabian was great. I think out of all the Sibuna Sinners, Brad and Alex really killed it at being evil whereas with Jade, it didn’t feel as natural. Like Jade has vastly improved her acting since S1 but Sinner!Patricia for me exposed some of her weaknesses. I didn’t feel as if it played to her strengths.

- I think I ship Jeroy? Honestly I will probably ship Jara and Jeroy but boy did they make a mess of it. I think it’s a shame how they ruined Jara so quickly in order for Jeroy and considering how they spent 2 seasons building Jara up, you’d think they wouldn’t split them up until the end of the season or the next if there was one. And it be done without the cheating. As for Jeroy they could have dedicated more time to them. For me that storyline felt a bit quick and would have liked that to take up most the season.

- Mabian? Wtf? I’m not gonna attack folks if they ship it. Because on paper they should work. However, that scene, hinting at them felt forced as fuck. Now there is a scenario where they could work, if there was more of a build. But it just makes no sense. Obviously since everyone lives together, we are told they all are friends and have a friendship with each other - but you need evidence if you are gonna sell characters as a couple or as best friends. Across the 3 seasons Mara and Fabian have shared the least scenes together. You could have at least this season shown more of a friendship together. It’s like how at the beginning of S3 everyone is like Fabian and Eddie are best friends - there was no evidence of that in S2.

- Also I think Mabian are one of those couples that would work (with better writing and not rushed and random), but not for the long term, I think they are too similar. Like I think they’d be that couple that would transition into friends without realising it.

- KT needs to chill out. She literally took everything like a personal attack. Like when Eddie thought she was a Sinner because he saw her be turned and no one knew she had the key. She at times just constantly looked like someone hurt her personally. Comparing her to Nina, since she did come in to fill the Nina hole. — She was definitely a better actress that Nathalia, but to me she wasn’t one of the strongest and had some weak spots. There were times I enjoyed her and times where she just had pure dumbass energy about her.

AU where instead of Patricia going nuts over Joy’s disappearance, it’s Fabian. He and Joy were on the cusp of dating, after all.

Nina and Patricia form a bond, and instead of Fabian offering his help to Nina, Patricia does, while Fabian overcomes his hesitations to go snooping around for clues as to where his crush and best friend went and why the teachers are so keen to stop him from doing so.

In this AU, there’s no Fabina— the couples are Jabian and Patrina/Peddie. Fabian and Patricia keep their own personalities, so it’s not a total swap. Imagining instead of Fabian’s gentle encouragement, it’s just Patricia being like “Um, hell no you’re not giving up (don’t please, you’re so sexy haha)”. And instead of Patricia’s brash approach to questioning the teachers, Fabian approaches with less emotion and more tact. Also, Fabian manages to escape Rufus all on his own, because he doesn’t wait after trying to knock him out.

Patricia bodies Rufus into the next century in the classroom during the finale and nearly kills them all when the hourglass of sandflies goes flying with him. She just really doesn’t want her girlfriend getting dragged off, thanks. However, everything goes down pretty much the same in the final confrontation with Rufus.

Joy and Fabian reunite at the ball, sobbing together, and Amber names them prom king and queen.

“But I’m just in jeans and a jacket!”

“You still look like a queen to me.”

They share their first kiss, which then gives Nina the confidence to grab Patricia’s face and just slam them together in the middle of everyone.

In S2, Nina and Patricia hit the awkward best friend vs girlfriends problem same as Fabina did, and Patricia sticks her foot in her mouth by jumping the gun same as Fabian. Cue very awkward Patrina breakup.

And then Eddie arrives, and immediately the Peddie dynamic begins. And Nina is pissed. Who the hell does this guy think he is? At least Patricia seems unimpressed... wait why is she smiling? Oh god, they have everything in common!

Joy sees what’s going down and she and Fabian—one very happy, cute couple—try their best to console her. Meanwhile, Patricia is battling with her feelings for Nina and her budding feelings for Eddie.

Nina and Eddie engage in increasingly ridiculous antics to win her affections, and Patricia is stressed. Amber steps in to try and help and naturally only makes things worse.

As much as she likes Eddie, though, ultimately Patricia couldn’t manage to give her heart to Eddie completely, not when she hadn’t moved on from Nina, and Nina hadn’t moved on at all from her. And once Eddie finds out he’s the Osirian, he understands that he has to protect Nina— that includes protecting her from heartache.

“Shut up, Patricia.”

Nina still ultimately leaves in Season 3, because we’re only changing that one thing, people, but this time, she tells Patricia about it not over a stupid letter. They have a tearful, heartfelt goodbye over the summer while Patricia visits her in America, and Nina let’s her go with: “You’ll always be my first love, Patricia.”

Throughout Season 3, Patricia and Eddie grow closer again romantically, and in the finale they get together as the start of a new beginning.

Little Fabina scene snippet that may or may not belong to a longer fic idea that I may never get around to writing...

So the scene is that the two of them are out camping somewhere with very little to no light pollution where you can see the stars very, very well. And knowing this would be the case ahead of time, Fabian brought a star chart. And the two of them are lying on the ground next to each other and goes off for a while about the various stars before ending with, “Sorry, they’re just so interesting.”

And Nina replies, “Yeah, they are.”

But then Fabian turns towards her and sees that she’s staring at him and not the sky and asks, “Were you even paying attention, or where you just staring at me?”

“I was at first,” Nina admits, “but when you talk about something you’re passionate about like that, you just light up so much. So much brighter than the the stars, and I was enthralled.”

The Friend Trap- starring K.T and Eddie

Summary: K.T and Eddie see how much Nina and Fabian are hurting. So, they do what best friends do best and meddle in their relationship.  

Authors note- one of my favorite head canons is K.T and Nina meeting after their respective adventures at Anubis. So, here is my take on that with a little Fabina twist thrown in. 

“So, Nina still has no idea who you are?” Eddie asked her over the phone. 

“Why would she?” K.T countered back “She has no idea what happened that term she didn’t return. I am a little hurt no one has mentioned me to her. Am I really that easy to forget?” K.T gasped, pretending to be fake hurt.

Eddie scoffed. “No, but apparently we are. Nina hasn’t had any contact with any of us since her letter to Fabian.”

K.T’s heart dropped. If only they knew how much Nina missed them, and vice versa. “Don’t say that. She talks about you guys and Anubis all the time. Of course, she has no idea that I also know you guys and that I practically took her spot at Anubis, so it's kind of awkward on my end.”  

K.T and Nina were roommates at NYU. When K.T first met Nina, she didn’t realize her connection to the girl. It wasn’t until Nina brought up a story about her time at Anubis house, and name dropped a certain raven haired boy that K.T realized this was the Nina Martin. And after comparing photos with Eddie over text message, K.T knew for certain who she was rooming with.

“She's pretty awesome, by the way.” K.T continued talking. “I can why see you all missed her so much senior year.” 

K.T and Nina had quickly become best friends. They shared a lot of similar interests and hobbies, more than Nina was even aware of. K.T felt a lot of guilt about keeping such a massive secret from Nina. But, after a lot of thinking, K.T realized it would be best for Nina not to know about her history with Anubis house. It would just make things awkward, and K.T was scared that once Nina knew what happened that fateful year she didn’t return, Nina would never forgive herself for staying away.  

“Why don’t you just reach out?” K.T asked Eddie.

“It's not that simple, K.T.” Eddie reminded her for the millionth time. “I wish it was. I know how much Fabian misses her. I see it on his face everytime we talk about Anubis. It's killing him.”

After their final year at Anubis, Eddie had decided to stay behind in England with his dad and Patrica and attend university there. Him and Fabin were roommates at University now.  

Just then, an idea popped into K.Ts head. “I have an idea!” She exclaimed to Eddie on the phone. “You know how you planned on coming to NYC next month for a visit…” She trailed off. 

Eddie already knew where this plan was going. “K.T, I know what you are about to say, and I don’t think it is going to work out like you imagine.”

K.T ignored Eddie’s pleas. “Well what if you brought Fabian with you, and we get him and Nina to meet up “accidentally” while you two are in the city!” 

Eddie shaked his head over the phone. “We are not playing Lindsay Lohan in the Parent Trap. We are not forcing Nina and Fabian into the same room. There are a lot of open wounds between the two of them.”

K.T let out a groan. Why could’t he see how brilliant of an idea this was? “Come on,” she whined. “You said it yourself, it's killing Fabian. And it’s killing Nina too. Look,” she said taking on a much more serious tone, “Fabian and Nina are meant to be in each other’s lives- whether that be as best friends or as more. You know it and I know it, and I wasn’t even there to see the two of them together. I saw how Fabian reacted when he found out Nina wasn’t coming back. I see the way Nina talks about him. And as some of their best friends, we have a responsibility to help them be happy. So are you in or not?”

There was a long silence on the other end of the phone. “Alright, yeah, whatever…” Eddie sighed.

“Ekk!” K.T squeaked on the other end. “See you and Fabian in NYC in two weeks!”
