I don't think that the people who kidnapped the kids are necessarily lying to them. They're just genuinely clueless. I think the fungus is a part of it but not in the way they think? Maybe the fungus is what opens / weakens the rift between the two worlds? the same fungus could've been in the woods/building during ashlyns birth as well, which is why the phantom was there. However, i think the paper cranes do know about the monsters or, at the very least, they know about the other dimension. (Side note: I don't think Alex or Mr. Thomas are part of the paper cranes despite Mr. Thomas having a few of them on his desk, since the boss plans on "making him dissappear" later, and Mr. Thomas tells ashlyn that she is, in fact, sick.) They're just a shadier group within the Contamination Facility, yk? I don't think they're all bad

I also think that all the kids we see that are in comas are alive, but they're stuck in the phantom realm after ashlyn and the group go to savvanah, since Jasmine says that the rift was permanently closed afterward

Anyway (deadass forgot what I was talking about) when the kids meet up at the gas station and go back to the graveyard, I can only assume there weren't any roots and vines on the streets due to the reaction they all had when they saw them. My guess is that the constant back and forth between the two worlds is having an effect on the environment. It could also be that now that a few months have passed and the rift is closed, the phantom dimension isn't 100% connected to the real one like it used to be, and is able to grow vines, fungus, and those weird rock pillars without them being present in the real world.

I think what happens to the kids' injuries is similar to what happens to phantoms when they're around light. They can't actually die from their wounds like how phantoms can't die from lights, but it will still affect their separate bodies (real world and phantom) like how the light makes the phantoms lose their form (idk how to word that)

Oh, it would be insanely sick to me if she did have some sort of connection to the centipede phantom/s!!! We have a lot clearer of a shot of her arm (though it's kind of covered by her sleeve) in s2e64 and you don't even have to squint for it to look like a centipede phantom imo.

So,if your ever an author for remarried empress,what would you fix in the webtoon and why?

Ooof... great question... the story starts out great so i guess i would just have season 2 be a skow descent into doubt for Navier as she realizes her man is the vilain of the story.

Also chapters highlighting the parallels between Christa/Navier and Navier/Rashta.

Rashta would get a divorce too, but it would be her asking it because Sovieshu doesnt allow her to see her daughter or something. Sue Lotteshu for keeping her from her son. Get a pretty house in the countryside to just care for them, find herself a job like baker or smth and marry a local guy. Christa getting with Kauffman (who wouldnt have suggested and used rape drugs all along) and Navier getting out of the Heinly marriage with minimum dammage.

But then it's not my story and i'm suure the author has some plans, maybe even plans that will hold Heinly accountable, who knows.

I think it’s actually quite glorious that Ares and Aphrodite were pretty completely committed to each other regardless of any hookups they had outside of their relationship.
